Part 8 Home
It had been fourteen long excruciating months of training and hard work. Izuku Midoriya was one of the strongest people on the planet. Izukus' goal is just at arm's length. Since the UA exams are soon Izuku decided to return to his hometown, which can't even remember the name of any more. As Izuku was walking through his home town he passed a beach that extended many miles. Izuku would've loved to see the sea but the view was tarnished by the mountains of garbage that lay strewn across the entirety of the beach. But Izuku walked upon a clear area of the beach. Izuku, being interested in the weird absence of trash, walked up to the railing that stood on the edge of the sidewalk to get a better look. When Izuku got at the railing he saw a teenage girl, with brown hair and a blue jumpsuit with red and white lines going down each of her arms and legs, was moving some of the trash as if to clean it off of the beach. Behind her was a tall lanky man with long blond hair that was put into a mullet with long bunny-ear-like bangs that were falling down in front of his eyes. The man seemed to be motivating the girl to drag a fridge, which she had little success with. Izuku was amused at the sight of the girl training. She was probably going to try to take a hero exam. Izuku hoped to see her at the UA exams he wanted to see the fruits of her labor. Izuku continued walking while smiling he was excited to see how strong she would be after ten more months of training. But on other matters, Izuku was traveling to his mothers' house. Izuku was able to find a phone book and discovered that Inko Midoriya still lived in the same apartment building. Hugin flew down onto Izukus' shoulder like he normally did when he wanted to talk to Izuku. "Hello Master, I understand that we are going to your mother's place right?" Hugin asked. "Yes, Hugin you'd be right," Izuku confirmed. "Well, Master your mother hasn't seen you in quite a while so I think it'd be best if you did something with your hair," Hugin advised. Izuku thought it over and agreed. He didn't want his own mother not to be able to recognize him with his hair dangling in his face. So Izuku found a barbershop and asked for the hairstyle that his mom last see him with. When the barber finished Izukus' haircut Izuku examined it in the mirror. It was exactly what he wanted, short but fluffy and unkempt. With satisfaction in his eye, Izuku paid the barber went on his way. A couple of blocks away from his mothers' house Izuku started to get nervous. He kept thinking of what if the phone book was wrong, or that she wouldn't happy to see him, but Izuku came to terms with that he would just have to meet her to find out. When Izuku finally made it to the Midoriya residence and was at the door Izuku called down Munin and Hugin. Izuku wanted to meet his mom with friends to back him up. When the raven duo landed on him, Izuku reassured himself that this would be a happy family reunion. With a quick breath of courage Izuku rang his mothers' doorbell. "Just a moment!" a feminine voice yelled out.
