Linlin loved to eat cake.

That was a no brainer.

She also loved tea parties.

Like every little girl goes through.

The thick child was currently in the dining room snacking on some small cupcakes that her adoptive father had made for a recent client. She wore a cute little pink sundress with a matching hat and a feather boa. Katakuri was sitting besides her, a small cake on a platter for his consumption. Even though it would be snatched in a few minutes, Linlin acted as if the plush bear would eat it. Across the table, Luffy messily ate his portion, some of the cake landing on Zoro's soft head. He too was wearing Shanks' hat for the party, a little bowtie on his chest.

"Tasty~!" Linlin sighed happily, face covered with cream and sprinkles. "So glad that papa made these for us, eh Luffy? Otherwise I wouldn't be having a tea party with you and our friends here! Glad that Kaido went out to the park with Shanks and Edward is with mama at the shop."

Luffy babbled in agreement, smearing more frosting on his face. While he did favor Shanks over all his siblings, Linlin was a close second due to both of them loving food. Michelle had to make sure she made seconds of everything when she cooked, worried that one day the two of them would eat them out of house and home.

"Ne Katakuri, you haven't eaten your portion yet!" Linlin took his chocolate cupcake and patted his head. "I guess you don't like cupcakes then. Perhaps I should make something else for you?" She got out of the chair, staring at Luffy. "I'm going to ask papa if I can make something for my child. Can you watch him while I'm gone Luffy-nii?"

As if he understood her, Luffy gnawed on his fork and bobbed his little head. With a smile, she left the room, leaving the baby with the plushie tiger and bear.

I thought she would never leave. Zoro shifted in his chair, getting into a comfy position. Man, between her and my child, I don't know who has the more appalling manners.

Don't speak ill of my mother nor her brother. Katakuri gave the tiger a glare. She knows I do not like cupcakes. I prefer something more filling and flavorful.

Luffy leaned over in his high chair. "You guys can talk?! Cool!" He spoke in baby talk, but they could understand him clearly.

Nice to finally get to meet you. I guess I should call you boss then. Zoro wiped his head of the crumbs and filth that plagued his fur. Can I ask that you not spill more food on me?

The baby nodded, happy that he could speak to the toys. "Does that mean that King and Marco can speak too?"

They can, but King is more of a loyal subordinate to Kaido and Marco never leaves Edward's head. Katakuri leaned forward, smiling at him. I suppose that you can understand us since you can't talk yet or been to school. Active imagination I suppose.

Luffy clapped his hands. "Yay! I have a superpower!" He poked Zoro on the head. "Do you have powers too? You are my best friend!"

Touched by his words, Zoro patted his hand. I can wield swords...I think. You never finished them. I wanna be a swordsman like that guy you named me after.

And I can see the future for a few seconds at a time. Katakuri said proudly. Got to thank mama for that.

"So can I tell the others that I can talk to you?" Luffy wondered aloud, making grabby hands at Zoro.

You must not tell anyone about this power of yours! If you do, you lose the ability to speak to us. For now, just act like a cute baby and babble to us. Katakuri smiled softly with his messed up mouth. Which shouldn't be so hard for you. I'm glad I was created for this family.

Same here, I can't wait for Luffy to grow up so that he can take me around town. Zoro chuckled, getting back in plush form.

Luffy grinned widely, waving at Katakuri before Linlin came back in with some more cake.

"Oh hey Luffy, I see you trying to wave at my son." Linlin placed the new cake on the table as she poured herself some tea. "Guess what this new cake is called? A Charlotte cake! Isn't that neat?"

Yup, Linlin loved tea parties, plushies, and her brother. Seeing him eat the cake she made with her papa made her smile even more.

Unbeknownst to her, Katakuri and Zoro smiled too.
