Summary: Luffy learns some life lessons from his cool plush friends. And makes some new friends out of it.

Luffy knew that his siblings go to a certain place to do stuff and come home to do more work. Shanks always complains about how much work they get, Kaido makes sure he's drinking some juice when he does, Linlin eats when she studies, and Edward grumbles at his work. Luffy didn't get it, but he made sure to give happy pats to all of them when he toddled by. Right now, his mama and papa were packing bags for his older siblings while they were eating breakfast. He sucked on his bottle while Zoro was snuggled next to him.
"Here you go Luffy!" Linlin dropped Katakuri into his high chair. "Make sure to take care of your little nephew."
"Hey, you leave your plushie with Luffy?" Kaido asked her, putting on his backpack.
"Uh duh! Luffy is great with his stuffed animals. They don't get chewed or ripped and he even plays with them gently."
"Is that so?" Edward placed Marco on the toddler's head, making him squeal with joy. "Watch Marco for me then. He'll make sure to keep you safe."
"No fair! I want Luffy to watch my friend too!" Kaido ran upstairs and came back down with King. "You better do a good job with keeping him safe King!"
Shanks popped his head back in to see his siblings crowding Luffy with their plushies. "I guess Luffy can watch Ben too while we're gone."
With his dad baking for another party that was scheduled for today, little Luffy was left at the table with a rather large coloring book and all his newfound plush friends.
That some good coloring, yoi. Marco said, ruffling his feathers up top the boy's head. Maybe you'll be an artist one day.
He can be whatever he sets his mind out to be. Ben said sagely, leaning over to examine his picture. Although he is scribbling outside the lines...
"Well I'm going to a party with papa today!" Luffy exclaimed, sticking his tongue out in concentration. "I heard it's a party for fancy people from higher class or something."
So you have to act on your best behavior then. King pointed to his clothes from the side of the table. If my boss were here, he would have you crush your enemies so that you'll look better in comparison.
That's terrible advice to give to a child! Zoro yelled at him. He just needs to smell good and not cry a lot.
Katakuri feel on the table, scooching over the side of the table. I've been to many of mama's tea parties to know how to act fancy. Who knows, perhaps you'll meet some new friends.
Wouldn't it be nice if he met a nice girl, yoi? Marco patted Luffy's head, making him giggle.
"The only girls I like are LinLin and mama! What can a girl give that a boy can't?" Luffy huffed, putting his crayon down.
Benn and Marco chuckled, Katakuri rolled his eyes, King snickered, and Zoro poked him before drawing something on his coloring book.
This is what a girl can do that a boy can't. The tiger plushie pointed down at the paper.
Luffy's face contorted in horror at the drawing. "Eww! What are they doing with their lips?"
Couldn't you have done that in a more refined manner? Katakuri gave Zoro a look.
Johan walked into the room when he heard his kid screaming. "Luffy, are you okay?" He picked up the baby along with the notepad before giving a shocked look. "Who the heck drew this? I'm pretty sure this was Shanks doing."
Luffy gave Zoro a glare, who in turn gave him a small smile.
"Well I finished up my cooking, so let's get you in some clean clothes and a nice bib. The Amazon Ladies Club is expecting us at two. I'm leaving you with their daycare while me and my company serve food. You can bring one of your little friends here."Johan looked over the table before picking up Marco. "You can take the birdie with you. C'mon kiddo."
Good luck Marco. Make sure he's safe. Benn called out.
If he isn't back in one piece, I'm hunting you down. Zoro threatened.
Same goes for me. Keep him safe. Katakuri glared at him.
If the little one is harmed, crush the one who hurts him. King told him.
Marco gave a mock salute before nestling down on Luffy's head. Count on me, yoi.
Johan laughed as Luffy's cheeks got poked and pulled by just about every lady at the Amazon Ladies Club. Due to him being a small baby, they didn't mind the young man being in the daycare. Johan gave a quick kiss to his fussy little man before putting him down in the room.
"Don't worry kiddo, I'll pick you up after all the ladies are gone." He ruffled his head and put the hat on them. "Go make some new friends and have fun with Marco."
Luffy watched his papa leave, sucking on his thumb as he held Marco. Surrounding him were a ton of little girls who stared at him with awe and excitement. Gulping, he placed Marco on his head and remembered what his buddies had said.
"Um...hi?" He said, looking down and blushing. "I'm Luffy, nice to meet you all."
Tons of squeals were heard as he was suddenly picked up by an older looking girl with kind eyes and turquoise hair. She also had a lot of hair dangles and earrings on her too.
"Aww...you are trying to speak, little guy?" She rubbed her cheek against his. "I'm Hiyori and you must be our guest for day." Bringing him over to the group of girls, he was placed down gently. "Luffy, meet Shirahoshi, Sugar, and Carrot!"
Carrot, a little girl with bunny ears, gave him a hug. She bit his ear, making Luffy squeal. Hiyori took her off him before scolding the girl for doing that. Sugar, a girl with a bear cape and drinking a grape juice box, eyed Marco before patting Luffy on the head. Shirahoshi, a large young girl, sniffled at him as tears went down her face.
"I'm going to go get your snacks. So please make sure nobody runs off Sugar." Hiyori said. "If you need any help, go call for my mother Toki."
Sugar watched as she left before smiling down at Luffy. "Your plushie is cute."
Luffy's face brightened at this. "You think so? He's my brother's!"
"Do you guys have any bunnies at home?" Carrot asked, putting her head on Luffy's lap.
"Nope! I have a kitty, my sister has a bear, my other brother has a cat too, and my scary brother has a dinosaur!"
"You have older siblings too?" Shirahoshi whimpered, snuggling a big pillow. "I have three big brothers that love me."
"I have an older sister who goes to a big school." Sugar took out another grape juice box. "She takes care of me."
"I don't have any siblings." Carrot pouted, crossing her arms. "I have a cool uncle and a really cool aunt though. How old are you Lu?"
"I'm not sure...I think I'm almost one." Luffy played with Carrot's hair.
"You are a young thing. I'm four years old." Sugar said proudly. "I go to preschool."
"I'm three and I go to preschool too!" Carrot said, pumping her fist.
"Um...I've never been to preschool. I'm almost one too." Shirahoshi poked Marco shyly. "Maybe we can start preschool together Luffy-sama?"
Luffy grinned, allowing Shirahoshi to hug Marco. "I would like that! Can I see you all there too?"
Sugar shrugged. "We probably don't go to the same school. However, if you want to have a play-date, I wouldn't mind."
"Yeah! Bring on the play-dates!" Carrot hugged Luffy giggling.
Hiyori came back with a plate of snacks to see the little ones getting along. She shook her head at the cute way they all communicated.
