Sherry and Chris were contained together, for some reason. None of the doctors ever cared to explain anything to them. Chris fought them the whole way through, demanding to see Piers RIGHT NOW. Of course, his 'request' was constantly denied. As annoying as the constant yelling would be, Sherry didn't mind. Instead, she would politely ask the doctors to see their partners. They'd always respond with a "it might be to exciting for him" or "it's for your own good."

If you have to tell adults 'it's for your own good', then you're probably not doing good at all.

When they were led to the helicopter, with still no sign of Piers, Chris started to nervous, which led to another bout of rage. "SOME SHIT-HEAD COME TALK TO ME!" He shouted, shaking the whole copter. None of the soldiers as much as showed their face throughout the whole flight. He probably scared them all away.

Sherry wanted to comfort him, but she barely knew the man. So she gave the usual "I'm sure he's ok." with a soft smile.

Chris looked at her from the corner of his eye, clearly forgetting she was here. He nodded slightly, trying to regain his composure.

Taking a deep breath, he turned and paced against the wall of their cage, running his hand against the cold steel. They'd rehearsed this scene over and over before.

When the helicopter finally landed, they were led down two stories, before they heard screaming. The prisoners shared a glance, and Chris moved over to stand between Sherry and the grating noise. She tried to ignore it and rubbed her arm for comfort.

The guards led them further through the maze, taking random turns that neither of them even tried to memorize, until they were led into a decontamination room. The soldiers ushered them in, but none of them went inside themselves.

A British, feminine voice over the intercom announced, "Hullo, Captain Redfield and Agent Birkin! We would like to apologize for any delay in seeing your partners, and We thank you for your patience. Lieutenant Nivans and Mr. Muller are already in this facility, and are waiting to regroup with you." Sherry beamed at Chris, who was waiting for the other shoe to drop. "However, before you reunite, We need you to do a through decontamination process. Even through Lieutenant Nivans is doing well, we can't risk exposing him to any more of the C-Virus. Doing so would likely result in sickness, loss of consciousness, or death."

"'Doing well,' my ass." Chris growled.

The woman either couldn't hear Chris, or just didn't acknowledge him. "So, please enter the two canisters you see before you, separately." As soon as they did so, the doors shut behind them. "Thank you for your cooperation!" The voice continued. "This process should take between 5 minutes…" Chris and Sherry beamed. "To three hours." Their faces fell. "Thank you again for your cooperation!"
