In My Mind, In My Head
Disclaimer - (Cause fanfiction is tricky ground and I hope not to offend the creator of the original story and get sued)
I do not own "Good Girls", it belongs to its original creator Jenna Bans and NBC. This is only a fanfiction that I was inspired to write by the original work. Please support the official release. Most of the media - such as the art and illustrations, gifs, video's, etc. used in this fanfiction - are from the web. Thus, most of them aren't mine (because I really, really can't draw) unless mentioned. To fit the story, images are also edited by various apps and websites. So they aren't mine, just edited.
Also if you own a picture or Video that I found online, and you either want your name added, or me to take it down. Please contact me and we can talk it out. P.s. I also ask that you do not copy my work and publish it onto any other website.
If you're gonna use my idea, please ask me (If you ask nicely, I for sure, will agree). If I don't contact you within a week, then just assume I'm giving you the all clear and go for it. Just remember to credit me.
I will be writing out scenes even if my Oc isn't in them. As long as she's mentioned, or influencing the characters in some way. Or maybe because it influences the story. This may seem a bit annoying. But that's just how I write. I like to embed my characters into the story line. Because of this, most of the dialogue/scenes will come from the original work.
I do own my oc's Catalina, her daughter Lucia, and her son Alejandro, and Rian.

Today's Special
I can go days without talking to you, months without seeing you, but not a second goes by that I'm not thinking of you.
~ Anurag Prakash Ray
Cat leaned back into her seat as she closed her eyes, waiting for the girls to meet her. She had been the first to arrive, and had decided to use this time to take a breather, calm herself and strengthen her will.
At least that is what she wanted to be doing. Instead, her mind wandered back to her one-night stand. It had been a month, and yet she still couldn't get the man out of her head. Her body remembered his touch, but her mind couldn't find a face to put to it.
The girls had offered to describe him to her. But she had turned their offer down. If this was the effect he was having on her body just through the traces he left on her body, she really didn't want to put a face to it.
A part of her thought that maybe he wouldn't be that good in the looks department, and hearing his appearance may finally help her forget him. But she knew that part of her was wrong, especially if the few comments Annie had been able to get in where anything to go by.
And god, Annie. Just like Beth and Ruby were the closer pair, Annie was practically her Twin, even though they had quite a few years between them. But right now, she definitely was getting under her skin by how she kept going on and on about the bartender. He had left before she could wake up, and hadn't even given her a number. So she had no way to contact him. Eventually she snapped and told her to just go back to the club again.
God, the look Annie had given her, not even realizing that it could be an option. So the girls went back to the club, at least Annie, Beth and Ruby did. But Cat refused, she was not going back there. The risk of running into him there was way too high for her liking. The girls went multiple times throughout the month, but they couldn't find him. Until apparently, on their last visit, they found out that he didn't work there. He was just covering a shift there for the night, as a favor to a friend of his.
Cat was snapped out of her thoughts by a knock on her window, which nearly caused her to jump out of her seat. She turned to see Beth on the other side of the class.
The brunette's heart began to speed up as what they were about to do, started becoming more and more real.
With shaking hands, she turned off her car, and exited it. Her legs nearly gave out from underneath her. She even had to use her car as support. She looked around the parking lot to only see Beth there. "Annie and Ruby are late." She said nervously, her foot begging to tap on the ground as an outlet for her nerves.
Beth nodded, folding her arms. She looked around nervously as well, "But what did you expect, it's Annie."
Just then, Annie's car slid up beside them. Ruby sitting in her passenger seat, looking just as nervous as the other two.
"I can not believe you." Beth shook her head.
"I can." Cat chuckled nervously, lacking her usual confidence.
Annie rolled her eyes. "Chill, sis. I'm, like, two minutes late." She says, coming out of her car.
Beth sighs, as the girls gather behind Annie's popped trunk.
"How was Sara's thing?" Beth asks.
"Oh, she was so good." Ruby answers, like a proud mother.
Cat smiles, "I know. She ran it by me last week. And I swear, if that teacher gives her anything lower than a 90, you can call her racist. Because damn was it good."
Beth nods, "She's so smart. I worry about mine."
Ruby and Catalina chuckles. "They're fine." The Latin woman smiled reassuringly. Kenny's great at lots of things. So what if Math isn't his subject. It's not mine either."
"Yeah, but it is a requirement to graduate high school." Beth sighs.
"Don't worry. He's still only in fourth grade. He just needs a tutor." Cat says, patting her back, and then stops and winces as she remembers trying to tutor the boy. "A really, really, good tutor."
Annie laughs, "I'd add another really in there if I was you."
"We just need to find someone good with numbers." Ruby reassures her.
"So… Not Dean." Cat comments, causing all the girls to break out into laughter.
"Yeah, that's a definite no." Beth answers, wiping a tear from her eye.
"All right, are you all ready for this?" Annie asks.
"I don't think I'll ever be ready for this." Cat shudders. "But for the kids…" She nods, remembering that despite everyone's varying reasons for agreeing to this insane plan. At the end of the day, they were all in it, for their children.
"Now or never." Beth nods in agreement.
Ruby follows, "Let's do it." She says, as all the girls accept their masks.
And so, with their toy guns blazing, the four women march into the Fine & Frugals.
As soon as they had walked through the door, Annie began screaming, "All right! Everybody be cool, and nobody gets hurt! Ladies and gentleman, this is a robbery!"
Cat looked like Annie, resisting the urge to scream the girl's name with frustration. How did she get here again? Oh yeah, if she had to guess. She'd say it began at dinner. But it actually probably began at the waxing parlor…
Cat winched, her face scrunching up as she watched the women pull the wax strip back and Beth shrek in pain.
"Why did I agree to do this again?" She asked, turning her face up to the ceiling.
Huffing, Beth answered, "Because I agreed to take Lucia and Alex this Sunday for a movie night and sleepover, if you agreed to drive me home."
Cat nodded, "I recall something like that."
"Oh, My lord!" Beth yelled, as the lady once again pulled again. "Maybe we don't have to do the full Brazilian."
The woman smacked her lips, chewing her gum and she answered, "Oh, a Brazilian would put you in the hospital. This is just brush control."
Cat nodded, "Yeah, I can believe that." She shuddered.
Beth nodded her head, "Yeah, I probably don't get in here as much as I used to."
"No." The women answers sarcastically.
"My husband and I aren't having a lot of S-E-X right now." Beth continues.
"You know there aren't any children here right now, right?" Cat asks , raising an eyebrow as she scrolls through her phone.
"Maybe he just can't find it." The worker offers, setting another strip up.
Beth sighs, "Kids are back to school. I'm swamped. He's always working late." And then adds, "Plus, there's so much on the DVR. It's really kind of hard to schedule- Ow!" Beth cuts herself off as a scream escapes from her lungs.
"Mrs. Boland?" A woman asks, opening their door a little hesitantly. "Your card was declined."
"Are you sure? Beth asks, breathlessly."
"I ran it twice." The woman answers.
"I'm sure he just forgot to pay the bill. He's been very distracted lately." Beth smiles.
"Well… we can't exactly continue if you can't pay..." The woman trails off, unsure of what to do.
"Here. I'll pay for her." Cat smiles, handing the card to the worker.
The woman smiles, taking the card from the brunette, "Thank you so much." She then runs off before Cat could change her mind, thankful she wouldn't have to deal with what would have happened if a woman who was already half way through her wax, couldn't pay.
Beth smiles up at Cat, "Thank you so much. I'll pay you back when- Ow!" Only to scream when the woman once again begins ripping off wax papers.
Cat winces, "You can start paying me back by letting me go sit in my car. Like I probably should have from the beginning." Cat begs.
With a nod from Beth, Cat wastes no time in running out the door as fast as her high heeled feet can carry her.
Cat slid into the seat next to Annie just as Beth was telling her the story of what had happened the other day. "And she was only halfway through my way."
"So what happened?" Annie asks.
"Well Cat paid for me. Thank God. I don't wanna know how that would feel."
"Very uneven." Cat laughs. "Like can you imagine it? Would one side feel smooth and the other bushy, or would the bush stop the clothing from touching the uneven side?" She wanders out loud, causing Annie to gag and start laughing.
Beth rolls her eyes, "Well thank God, and you, I won't ever need to find out."
Ruby walks by with their coffee, hearing the last little bit of their conversation she shakes her head, "I don't even wanna know."
"Dead maxed out their credit card at some lingerie store." Annie fills her in.
"Do you think he's sleeping around?" Beth asks Ruby.
But before Ruby can answer, Cat does. "Yes." She answers, popping a fry in her mouth. "If he's buying lingerie and they aren't in your closet within six hours, or hiding somewhere in your house as a present. He's cheating."
"Yeah, but don't nobody want Dean." Ruby counters. "It's a Christmas gift."
"In October?" Beth asks.
"Maybe it's your anniversary present." Annie counters.
"He already gave me 100 coupons to Bed Bath & Beyond." Beth answers.
"Yikes." Cat winces. "Talk about bland."
Annie smirks, "Oh. Well not everyone can just through hundreds your way for a pair of ripped panties."
Cat glared at her, picking up the knife on the table and pointed it at Annie, "Careful. I've stabbed closer relatives than you."
"Son of a bitch." Annie curses, trying to steer the conversation back to Dean. "Coupons? Really?"
"No, I really do love it there." Beth defends her husband.
"Yeah? But coupons?" Cat asks. "Shouldn't he know you enough to at least get you something from there that you like?"
"Son of a bitch." Annie shouts again.
"Annie." Beth begins, only for her sister to cut her off.
"No." Annie answers, "That old guy is stealing your tip." Annie tells Ruby, pointing to a table behind them.
Cat follows her gaze, "Son of a bitch." Cat nods, agreeing with Annie.
"He can't even walk." Ruby answers Annie.
"Go get it." Annie tells her.
Ruby sighs, and walks over to grab her tip, right before the old man can. Ruby gasps, walking back over to the girls. "Shady SOB."
"Huh? Mmm-hmm." Annie nods. "My old job, we got robbed all the time. So I got the sixth sense now."
"Are you serious?" Beth asks.
"It's no big deal." Annie shrugs. "All the stores I work at eventually get hit."
"You could get shot." Beth tells her.
"Ugh. One could hope." Annie rolls her eyes, only to get slapped on the arm by Cat.
"Don't say stuff like that!"
"Ow." Annie mutters, rubbing her arm. "These guys. They don't want to hurt anybody. They just want the money. So we let them have it. Nobody's trying to be a hero."
Cat nods, "Good. You better."
"Do they get caught?" Ruby asks.
Annie scoffs, "Yeah, the dumb ones do, cause they part in the front by the security cameras." Annie informs them. "You gotta put your getaway car in the back by the loading dock. And you never dick around with the registers. The real money is back in the vault."
"How much are we talking about here?" Cat asks, curious.
"$30 grand, give or take."
"You've really thought this out." Beth comments.
"Just keeping my options open." Annie shrugs
"30 grand huh?" Ruby repeats the number. "I could really use that money."
"Oh, my God. Me, too." Annie agrees.
Cat nods with her, "I know. As smooth as the divorce was. It completely depleted my savings. And Lucia wants to join this new advanced robotics program. And as happy as I am she's able to get into it at such a young age, I really can't afford it. And God, she was so excited about it. How the hell am I supposed to tell my daughter to can't get into the program she wants because her mother can't afford it, and her father's a douchebag who couldn't care less and would rather spend 3000 dollars on a floozy than help his daughter further her education." The strong woman is nearly in tears by the end of her rant at the thought of her daughters disappointed face.
"So when do you wanna do this?" Ruby asks, fiddling with her tip.
"Well, I already bought four automatics and filled off the serial numbers." Annie answers her. "So, really, name a day."
Beth looks around at her friends astonished. Only for Annie to start laughing. "You should see your face."
"It's whiter than usual." Ruby nods.
"Yeah, like a vampire." Cat comments.
Who would have thought that all it would take for that joke to become reality would be a douchebag ex, a cheating husband, a custody case, and skyrocketing hospital bills for that joke, to become all too real.
So four Halloween mask purchases, and toy guns, with 5 minutes of sharpening. And here we are. Cat thought, 'Watching Annie scream at a bunch of people.'
The said blond began shouting, "I'm gonna need you to all get on the ground. Get your cell phones out of your pockets and keep your hands where I can see 'em." As the shoppers began doing what she had ordered, Annie continued. "Good. Now, I need you to get your manager up here." Seeing as no one was doing it, Annie repeated, "I said you need to get a manager up here right now." Seeing that the manager wasn't coming, Annie turned to the other girls with panicked eyes, shrugging her shoulders slightly.
"Hey, where's y'all's boss at?" Ruby shouted.
Seeing that nothing was happening, Beth began screaming, "I better get a manager up here right now or I will start capping people!" Cat looked at her friends, startled. "I'm not even joking, mother-" She screamed, kicking over a barrel of creates, causing everyone to scream. Cat herself only biting her lower lip to keep won startled shriek in.
"You the manager?" Beth asks a startled employee hiding behind a counter.
"Over there." The curly haired blond answers, pointing towards a man who was trying to crawl away without them noticing.
"Hey. Hey, you. You." Beth calls, running up to him. Walking up to him she asks, "You in charge here?"
"Y-es. Yes, I am." The man stutters out.
"Okay, then, you listen to me. You're gonna put on your big boy panties, and you're gonna tell your customers to stay calm, and this will be over real soon." Beth tells him.
Meanwhile, Annie, Cat, and Ruby began ushering customers out of the aisles.
Cat walks to the bread and baked goods section in the corner to see a man calmly inspecting muffins. He had a buzz cut, and was dressed in a blak baggy hoodie and black jeans.
"Come on. This is a robbery. With the others, now." She says, pointing the toy gun at him.
The man turns to look at her, takes one look at the gun in her hand and turns back around to inspect the back goods. "Would you get the chocolate or vanilla, you seem like a chocolate kind of woman."
"I said-"
"Yeah I heard you the first time." The man waved her off. "But I doubt that gun could do anything other than give me a bruise. But I doubt it's even loaded. Wouldn't want anyone finding out it's a toy, or should I say anyone else."
Cat's blood freezes at his words. But he only continues to chuckle, "Relax. I won't tell anyone. Now back to our original topic. Vanilla or chocolate. I'd like to think chocolate. Because are you a box of chocolate? Because I want to take your top off and gobble you up."
The woman stares at him in confusion, "Was… that a pickup line?" She asks, blood rushing her cheeks.
He turns to look at her. And from where she's standing, Cat can just see a little bit of ink peeking out from his high neck hoodie. "Too much?" He asks, raising an eyebrow. Cat nods, no words being able to come out of her mouth as her tongue suddenly felt heavy in her mouth.
"Then how about, we're like hot chocolate and marshmallows. You're hot, and I want to be on top of you, again."
'Wait, again?' Cat thinks. 'Do I know him? Does he know me? Is he just trying to distract me?' She asks herself, as her mind runs a mile a minute.
She shakes her head, "You're gonna stay right here, and you're gonna keep quit. Understood?"
The man laughs, "Yes ma'am."
Agitated, Cat storms off to where Annie, Ruby, and Beth were piling the money into bags. She helps them stuff them into bags, before throwing all the bags into a shopping cart and running away. Running out the back, they don't even bother opening the trunk, and instead through the money into their seats and drive off, agreeing to meet at Beth's house.
As she drives away, the man's laugh rings Cat's ears, sounding way too familiar for her liking. By the look on the man's face, it was clear he wouldn't tell anyone, so Cat decided to keep that little secret to herself. Plus, he only knew her. If anyone else asked, she'd just say there were three random girls she didn't know. Make up some lies. There was no way she's ever take her friends down with her.
Meanwhile, the same man, was having the time of his life replaying the video from the grocery store with his boys for laughs.
"Man, that chick is crazy." Mick laughs, as they get to the scene of Beth screaming around and knocking down the cartins.
Just then Rio's cousin, Eddie walks through the door with a drink in his hand. Seeing everyone crowded behind the computer he raises an eyebrow.
Daggs, still laughing, calls him over, as Rio plays the video again from the start. Rio watches Eddie's face throughout the clip, smirking as the realization the women were using toy guns struck him.
"Did they just…?" Eddie turns to them, "So three bitches robbed us, with toy guns no less, and were laughing about it. You guys do know if the other gangs find out the meet ups for the next month or so are gonna be a real pain in the ass, right?"
"It's fine." Rio waves him off. "I already know who did it. Daggs should have their location soon."
"You know, for a bunch of moms, they sure have quit the body." Daggs comments.
"I know." Mick nods. "The crazy one sure has a rice rack."
"Yeah, but the taller one's is definitely bigger." Daggs points out. "She's like a 40."
"Na." Mick shakes his head. "She's maybe a 35, but that's it. I'm giving her 35-32-36."
"Nah" Daggs shakes his head, "It's definitely 40-39-42. I'm willing to bet I'm right." At this point, the boys had made a game of trying to guess what they called a women's three sizes. Who ever guessed the size of her chest, waist, and hips right. Would win.
"You're both wrong." Rio tells them. "She's 42 - 27 - 40 and her height 5 feet and 7 inches without heels."
"And how are you so sure?" Eddie asks him, taking a sip of his drink.
"Well for starters, I was the one who's met her in person, twice. And considering she's been unable to leave my head for the past month. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Im right."
And that's when the boys realized that they, had just seem Rio's girl.
And she had just robbed them.
Just an introduction.
I actually used an easter egg from Modern Family up there. Does anyone recognize it?
For the three numbers I actually just wrote three random numbers that seemed believable. I actually wasn't trying to guess her size. Please don't actually do that - it's not nice. I only did this for the plot. I actually got the idea of the three numbers, from a Manhwa called "A Star Reborn, The Queen's Return".
