AUTHOR'S NOTE: Ha! Surprise! You were expecting ahsinam33, but it was me, WarpedCognition469! In case our reviews on one another's content didn't already make it clear, we're friends behind the scenes. Not to take all the credit for this idea, which definitely doesn't belong to me, but I've been thinking of doing a collaboration for a while, and a drabble series felt like the best place to do that.
Sadly (or happily for me, since it's to my benefit!), I'm at university and won't have much time to write, but I'll be writing drabbles to go in this fic as and when I come up with ideas for them! My drabbles in this series will be labelled as such by these author notes, but they might be a little rare. And of course, I decided to kick them off with a Rize/Sharo one. Specifically, this one is about sleepy cuddles. To be a little open about myself, I think these would be one of my favourite parts about a relationship. So yeah! These two get to enjoy them!
It goes without saying that I profit from this in no way and do not own GochiUsa. My only gain from this is the satisfaction I get from having written a cute, funny story about my favourite ship. I'm legally entitled to that!
Slow Morning
The light from between the curtains woke Rize up. It was cool like every morning.
She threw aside the sheets, letting frigid air rush over her. She forced herself to stand up out of bed, but heard a distinctive groan just as she did.
"Stay with me." Was the only thing Sharo said.
"Huh?" Rize turned to see Sharo stretching her arms out towards her.
"It's cold, I'm tired, and I miss you already. Please?"
She didn't even have to ask. Rize climbed back into bed, into her girlfriend's loving arms.
Nothing felt warmer and safer than holding each other.
