I'm Going To Have A Child
Disclaimer - (Cause fanfiction is tricky ground and I hope not to offend the creator of the original story and get sued)
I do not own "Fire Force", it belongs to its original creator Atsushi Ōkubo. This is only a fanfiction that I was inspired to write by the original work. Please support the official release of "Fire Force". Most of the media - such as the art and illustrations, gifs, video's, etc. used in this fanfiction - are from the web. Thus, most of them aren't mine (because I really, really can't draw) unless mentioned. To fit the story, images are also edited by various apps and websites. So they aren't mine, just edited.
Also if you own a picture or Video that I found online, and you either want your name added, or me to take it down. Please contact me and we can talk it out. P.s. I also ask that you do not copy my work and publish it onto any other website.
If you're gonna use my idea, please ask me (If you ask nicely, I for sure, will agree). If I don't contact you within a week, then just assume I'm giving you the all clear and go for it. Just remember to credit me and the story you are getting the idea from.
I will be writing out scenes even if the Oc isn't in them. As long as they are mentioned, or influencing the characters in some way. Or maybe because it influences the story. This may seem a bit annoying. But that's just how I write. I like to embed the oc's into the story line. Because of this, most of the dialogue/scenes will come from the original work. But yeah, credit for the dialogue and scenes from the original manga, goes to it's rightful creator.

{Third P.O.V.}
Akilah groaned as she shifted her sore body. The sunlight streaming through the windows did nothing to help her growing headache.
Pushing herself up, she looked around to see an empty room. It had a T.V. on a dresser across from her. A single nightstand on the left, and a door which she assumed led to the bathroom. It looked like a normal hotel room.
Her body groaned, sending her signals of pain as she moved to get up off the bed. She could feel something sticky on her thighs. Her first instinct was to panic, but she then remembered the pill Licht had her swallow outside the club.
"Licht. I owe you one. Even though it was your fault I'm in this mess to begin with." The silver eyed woman said to no one.
As she walked to the bathroom, the woman tried to remember what had happened last night. But after the three shots, it was all blank. Nothing.
'Licht may know something.' She thought, running the shower. She let out a hiss as the hot water hit her skin. Taking a quick shower she exited. Only to let out a gasp when she got a look at her reflection in the mirror. There were two large bruises on her hips, in the form of hands, and one very large one on her neck.
"I guess I'm going to be wearing a scarf for the next couple of days… or weeks." She said to herself.
Walking out of the room, she dreaded having to put on her last night's clothes again. The quicker I do this, the quicker I can get out of it."
But she then saw the phone on the nightstand. Calling the man responsible for all of this, she decided that it was payback time.
The phone rang for a few minutes, before she heard a groan on the other side of the line. "Whose this?"
"The woman you screwed over!"
"Ah, nice to see that you're still alive Akilah." Licht answered without missing a beat.
"Listen. I'm at…" Looking around for a name, she found it on the hotel's pillows, "Leo's. Come pick me up. And bring a second set of clothes too."
"Do I have to?"
"Yes you do! I'm in this mess because of you." Akilah then paused, "Wait. What even happened last night?"
"You don't remember?" Licht askes.
"No." The women scowled. "It's all black after the shots."
"Oh. That's probably on me." The man laughed. "Anyway. It was all normal for about 15 minutes. I had met a guy I knew from school who was also here, and he began talking to me. You walked away… or stumbled would be more like it. But then some douche started getting handsy with you. I was about to get intertwined. But someone else did, before I could. And let me tell you, this guy was huge. Like HUGE. Anyway, you looked like you were having fun. So I looked away for five minutes. Turn around. And you're gone! You ditched me for a hookup."
"Yeah yeah. Blacked out me says she's sorry." Akilah said, rubbing her head. As she did, hazy memories from the night began to resurface. None of them were clear. She couldn't make out the guy's face. Though he was definitely larger than her.
With the warm sun in her face, Akilah began to doze off. The woman was startled awake by loud knocks on the door. She yawned, opening to find Licht there with her order.
"One white t-shirt, black leggings, and scarf for the lady" He tried to say it like he was a butler, but broke out in a chuckle half way through. Ruining the impression.
Akilah laughed, accepting the clothes. "Give me a minute and then we can go."
It was 2 weeks later and Licht and Akilah were back in their classroom to see their results. Normally the teachers would post them online. But apparently the site they were using was down. So they now had to come in person.
Akilah turned her head around to Licht, who had just grabbed his paper and sat down.
"Akilah Flam." The teacher called out. The silver haired woman walked to the front of the room. She received the paper, flipping it around, she saw a perfect 100 on the top right hand corner, written in red ink.
She smiled, though that smile soon grew shaky as the paper started shaking. She put a hand on her head to try to stop it as she began getting tunnel vision. The next thing she knew, the world was tilting to the side, and she saw Licht running toward her, screaming her name.
Licht prided himself on being detached and keeping his cool. But at that moment, both those qualities were thrown out the window.
All he could see was Akilah, unconscious on the ground.
It was like someone had slowed down speed as she fell, and then fast forwarded. But no matter how fast she was carried to the school's infirmary. All he could feel was fear.
The nurse was quick to reassure him that there was nothing visibly wrong with her. They did find something, but could only tell them when the woman had woken up.
Licht could only watch the clock tick away painfully slow, as he waited for his best friend to wake up.
The brown haired man was woken from his thoughts by the door to the infirmary slamming open as Karim ran into the room.
The younger boy's appearance was clearly disheveled. He was panting, looking as if he had just run here from the academy. Knowing the boy, it was likely that he had run here after hearing the news about his sister.
"Is she okay?" He asked after seeing that there was nothing wrong with his sister, appearance wise at least.
"She seems fine." Licht answered. "The nurse says something is up, but she can't tell us until Akilah's woken up."
"What! Why?" Karim asks. It was rare to see the usually calm boy so worked up.
"She didn't say."
Karim began cursing the woman out under his breath. He turned around and was about to exit the room to probably go shake some answers out of her, but was stopped when he heard a groan.
Both men's gazes instantly went to the woman on the bed. Her eyes were beginning to flutter, as her hand ultimately went to her head to try to ease the headache.
"Hey, take it easy." Karim told her, worried as he watched her sit up quickly only to groan.
Licht handed the woman a glass of water from the bed stand, which she gladly accepted with a quite thanks.
"What happened?" She asked.
"We still don't know. That stupid nurse wouldn't tell us anything until you woke up. It's like nothings going on inside that stupid head of hers. That stupid woman probably doesn't even know how to use that stupid head."
"Enough Karim." Akilah chastised. "Don't be rude." She said. She turned her head to Licht, "Well I'm awake now. Could you please call her for me."
The brown haired man nodded, and got up to go find the woman who was probably in her office.
"What happened to you. They only called the academy telling them you'd passed out and that they needed to inform me." Karim said, sitting down next to her, where Licht had previously been sitting.
"I don't know." Akilah shrugged. I had gone up to accept my exam, but then the room started spinning. The next thing I knew, I was falling down. The last thing I remember was Licht running toward me."
The door opened and the pair of siblings looked up to see Licht walk in with a woman in a white coat and blue scrubs in tow. "Glad to that see your up Mis. Flam."
"Thank you." Akilah nodded. "I'm up now. So do you mind telling me what's exactly wrong with me?"
"Well nothing's wrong with you." The older woman answered.
"What? Then why'd she faint?!" Karim shouted.
The nurse shot Karim a sharp gaze, "If you'd let me finish. I was going to say that yes, nothing is wrong with you." She turned to Akilah. "Both you and the baby are fine. You're pregnant."
"What?!" all three of the occupants exclaimed.
"That can't be." Akilah shook her head. "You must have the results mixed up."
"I thought you may say that." The woman said, handing Akilah a file. "We run blood work on all patients before we can give them anything. And yours' are clearly indicating that you're pregnant."
Akilah looked out through the test results, indeed seeing that what the woman was saying was true.
Licht, who was reading over her shoulder, looked like he was about to pass out. Karim had no idea what the numbers or letters on the page meant. But judging by the two scientists, the results were probably positive.
"You know." Licht was the first to speak. "When I told you to get knocked up, I was joking. Right?"
"What? You told her to do what?" Karim asked, angry.
"I'm going to punch you." Akilah seethed.
"Go ahead", the nurse laughed. "You're pregnant. That's literally a get out of jail card for anything."
"I'm pregnant." Akilah repeated, instantly forgetting about her anger, she brought her hand up to her abdomen. "I'm pregnant. I'm going to have a baby. I'm going to have a child."
Also, Licht will be aged up in this. In canon, he's only a year older than Karim. But here, he'll be the same age as Akilah.
Next chapter, there's going to be a timeskip, so heads up for that. As much as I'd love to write about pregnancy moments, I don't really know what I'd write. But when I do think of some, I'll make sure to show them in flashbacks.
