"Adult male, mid to late twenties, found wandering the flooded streets. Found in chok, took a fall which landed him underwater where he inhaled a lot of water, became unconscious without breathing before we could pull him out, reviewed on scene. John Doe for now" the firefighter who had initially found Buck told when he gave Buck over to the paramedics who started working on him, getting him ready for further transport
"We'll take it from here, thank you" the paramedic said, the firefighter nodded and went back to his partner ready to get back out there looking for survivors.
Athena looked at the boy sleeping in the large hospital bed and smiled before picking out her phone to try and call her husband once more, at the second ring it was picked up
"Hey Athena" Bobby answered with a smile, even with all the death and chaos from the tsunami surrounding him, seeing his wife's name on the caller ID gave him a warm feeling
"Bobby" Athena said, tears starting to form in her eyes hearing her husband's voice
"Athena what's wrong?" Bobby asked, alarmed hearing the tears in his wife's voice, "Is Harry and May okay?" Bobby asked, growing more alarmed when he heard Athena start to openly sob on the other end of the line
"Bobby I… I found Christopher and… Bobby were at the VA hospital but…", Athena was crying full on now, unable to voice the fact that Buck wasn't with them, but knowing she had to she gathered her strength, took a deep breath and continued: "Bobby a woman found Chris in the water but Buck wasn't with him", and then she broke down in a hysterical sobbing once more. On the other end of the line Captain Robert 'Bobby' Nash's world had just stopped moving
"No" he breathed into the phone before he dropped it and fell to his knees
Henrietta 'Hen' Wilson watched as the smile and shine slowly faded from her captains face and it instead twisted into horror, she saw the phone drop from his hand and then she was running towards him along with her partner and friend Howard 'Chimney' Han as he dropped to his knees, his hands now covering his face as his shoulders started to heavily rise and fall and his whole body was shaking by the time they reached him
"Cap, what's happened?" Hen asked in an alarmed tone when she reached him. Bobby just shook his head, reluctant to say the words
"Who?" Chimney asked shakily, not wanting to think the worst but sensing it. Bobby just shook his head again and a cold feeling ran down Chimney's spine. "Who is it cap?" Chimney asked again, this time Bobby looked up with tear filled eyes
"Christopher was found in the water" Bobby whispered and all three heads spun to look at Eddie who was giving directions to an elderly lady on how to find the shelter, and who hadn't yet noticed what was going on
"No" Hen whispered, and after realising the words looked back at Bobby with wide eyes; "Buck" Hen gasped and Bobby's eyes became watery again and he shook his head in sadness
"Wasn't found with him" Bobby managed to croak out through sobs
"No" Chimney and Hen both whispered in unison and looked at their captain in horror at the revelation. Bobby dried his eyes and got up
"It's my duty to inform the family" he sank a lump forming in his throat before starting to move towards Eddie
