"No, no Christopher is with Buck, they're just at the movies or something, that's why he aren't picking up the phone" Eddie said, shaking his head in disbelief
"Eddie I know this is difficult" Bobby tried but Eddie cut him of
"No, no this is not difficult, Buck and Christopher is okay and just having fun" Eddie said this time Bobby was the one to cut Eddie of, he put his hands on both of Eddie's shoulders, forcing the man too look at him
"Eddie listen to me, your kid is alive and right now he needs you and that is all that matters" Bobby said, tears forming in both their eyes
"Please tell me it isn't true cap, please" Eddie pleaded
"I wish I could" Bobby said somberly, and then Eddie was crying in the arms of his captain who was barely holding himself together from doing the same. In the back Hen and Chimney was standing looking at the scene unfolding and trying to grasp the fact that any one of the bodies they had come by could have been Buck, might have been Buck, at that realisation they fell into each other's arms crying
Christopher opened his eyes in the poorly lit room, he felt around for his glasses to get a better look at his surroundings but came up empty, his eyes started to water not knowing where he was, Athena was with him in an instant
"Shh, it's gonna be okay baby, you're okay" she tried soothing and it help a little, Christopher looked to her
"Athena?" he asked a little unsure since he couldn't make her out completely
"Yes baby I'm here, is anything hurting?" Athena asked worriedly, she knew the doctor had told her Chris was fine, but she needed to be sure. In an instant everything came back to Chris
"Bucky" Chris gasped. "Where's Buck?" he asked, and a silence and atmosphere fell upon the room, Athena looked at Chris with sad eyes
"Buddy, do you remember what happened?" Athena asked instead of answering his question
"Yeah, we were at the pier", Chris began and Athena inhaled sharply at this information, "Athena what's wrong?" Chris asked alarmed
"I'm sorry baby, didn't wanna scare you, just didn't realise how close you were when…" Athena started but cut herself of
"Yeah" Christopher shuddered at the memory of the large wave that had come crashing down on them and his eyes started to water again; "I want Bucky" Chris cried and Athena's eyes got watery as well not knowing what to say to comfort either of them, she wanted Buck back as well
