There was doubting that the SWAT Kats were coming, while the people cheered to see them coming toward the bank at full speed, Dark Kat and Hard Drive already had their plan set in motion. All they needed was to lure the SWAT Kats into the center of the waiting area, then, there would be no more heroes to stand in their way.
As the Turbokat hovered over the roof, Rex Shard and Dr. Viper showed up to meet the two heroes. Razor saw them first and quickly selected the cement launcher and took aim. He fired. But Dr. Viper threw up is hands, as thing of mutant plants jumped in front of the reptilian villain and his partner.
"Slow those two down, my beautiessss," Dr. Viper hissed as he and Rex Shard retreated back into the safety of the bank.
T-bone and Razor then landed wiped out the mutant plants with ease. However, T-bone could since that something was off about this whole robbery. This isn't like Dr. Viper to team back up with Dark Kat and the Metallikats after what happened last year. T-bone thought to himself. But the big tom soon had something else on his mind.
"Hey, Razor," T-bone said sniffing the air. "Do you smell that?"
Razor's head shot up as he got a whiff of something he didn't like at all. "Yeah, I smell the scent of burned fur. It's Hard Drive." Then the two of them headed inside the bank. They freed a group of hostages that were trapped in a supply closet.
Outside the bank, Commander Feral was trying to keep the media at bay. He was really bothered by the number of reporters were there, sure he had his fair share of being on camera, but this was something else. Some of the reporters were asking questions about what was Dark Kat thinking about teaming up with other super villains. One reporter then asked Commander Feral if his niece was sexually involved with T-bone.
That reporter learned the hard way on what the meaning of "no comment" meant. Commander Feral balled up his fist, reached way back, and knocked the reporter flat on his ass. Ann Gora then walked up, at least he had great respect for this one reporter.
"Commander Feral," she asked addressing the Enforcer leader with great respect. "What are the chances of the SWAT Kats ending this with out any loss of life of the hostages?"
Commander scowled at the question. He really hated being upstaged by the SWAT Kats. "Those two better make sure they end this quickly and cleanly, otherwise, I'll arrest those two on the spot." he growled, then stormed off to speak with Callie who had just shown up.
Back inside the bank, Hard Drive was already for the SWAT Kats, so was Viper. The reptilian villain smiled as the two heroes arrived right on time. Stepping out from his hiding spot, Dr. Viper smiled at the SWAT Kats.
"Welcome to your doom," he hissed. Before the SWAT Kats could react, mutant vines came out of the vases scattered around the waiting area of the bank. T-bone and Razor tried to fight back, but it was Dark Kat's creeplings who attacked from above. Soon both heroes were trapped like bugs in a spider web. Then it got even worse.
Hard Drive laughed as he activated his newest weapon he got from Dark Kat. Both he and the Omega leader laughed as the weapon shot a beam of energy which hit the SWAT Kats. At first Razo and T-bone thought the weapon was defective, but then Razor looked at his hands. They were disintegrating. "T-bone also felt his body disintegrating, both heroes opened their mouths to scream, but nothing came out. Soon, they were gone.
People inside the bank watched in total horror as the SWAT Kats faded away in front of them. And what was worse, Dark Kat had Hard Drive hack the CCTV cameras to send the footage of the SWAT Kats' death to all the news medias. All over the city, people were stunned to see the awful event unfold on live TV. Outside, Callie dropped to her knees, tears were running down her cheeks and messing up her makeup. Commander Feral felt nothing but a cold empty feeling inside his heart.

Then Dark Kat spoke up to the grief stricken city. "Attention people of MegaKat City. This is the voice of the new ruler of this city, we, the proud members of the SWAT Kats Revenge Squad have wiped out the only ones who can defend you from us, but we are unreasonable," the Omega leader smiled. "We give you one month to morn for the loss of your beloved SWAT Kats, then we will take your city from you and destroy any Enforcer who dares try and oppose us. This is Dark Kat saying: Goodbye." Then the screens went blank.

Later that night, the whole city was gathering around Megakat Park located in the middle of the city. As people lit candles, Tommy stood next to his sister, she looked so sad and broken. Suddenly, the mood of the crowd changed from sadness to anger. Callie felt her blood boil as the Pastmaster walked through the crowd of angry kats.
"Why are you here?!" Callie screamed at the dark age villain. "Have you come to gloat? You have always hated them, now they are gone. You are nothing but a freak, I hate YOU!"
But the Pastmaster was unfazed by the deputy mayor's words. Instead he pulled out a candle of his own and lit it. "Believe it or not, Callista, I am going to miss them." he sniffed.
It was a huge relief that after the service, The Pastmaster left the city and Callie alone. It turns out that he had too much respect for Callie to try and cause trouble when she was in such pain. When the Briggs arrived back home, Tommy went straight to his room and closed the door, all he wanted was to be left alone.
As the young tom sat down on his bed, a voice was heard in his room. "This city will need a new group of heroes," the voice said.
Tommy looked around. Someone was in his room. "Who's there?" he asked, then he showed up.
There standing in the doorway of his closet was a white cat with armor and and gray hood covering his face. "My name is Carter Delsin, and I have been sent by Queen Callista to train you and your friends to become the city's new group of heroes."
Well, this was really something for young Tommy to hear. "You're kidding, right?" he aksed.
Carter shook his head. "No, I am not," he replied.
