The Elite Six and the SWAT Kats all stood in silence, each one grieving for the sacrifice Carter had done. If not for him, then the Devil and all his followers would have surely killed the heroes. However, it was Wally who was taking it the hardest. When the young kangaroo first started his training, it was his teacher Carter who had given him the will to not give up, but now he was gone, and Wally didn't know what to do now.
Stepping forward, Wally placed a single white rose on Carter's grave. "Goodbye, Master Delsin," he said sadly, then walked away. He no longer could stay there for the funeral.
The next day, Wally and Joey woke up to their alarm going off. "Six in the morning?" Joey asked then he looked over at Wally.
"Don't look at me," he said with a yawn. "I didn't set the alarm."
"I did," Queen Callista said. Wally and Joey both looked at her. "I thought I would come to see you two, Carter spoke highly of you."
Wally just turned his gaze away from the beautiful queen who was sitting in their bedroom. "Really, he spoke about us?"
The queen nodded and smiled at the hurt kangaroo teen. "The reason is he saw you and the others as his own family. When he was born and first started to show signs of having magic powers, he was left in the wild to die. Not long after that, my father the king found him and set him up to be taught alongside me in the art of magic."
The queen told Wally the whole story about Carter's past, how he once got married, but lost his wife and child during the outbreak of the black plague. "And then the Pastmaster showed up and well… You know the rest."
Wally and Joey looked at one another, they had no idea that Carter had such a hard life growing up. Then Queen Callista placed a gentle kiss to each boy's forehead. "Stay strong and remember why you became heroes, " she said.
"With great power, comes great responsibility." Wally and Joey said unison.
"Farewell, my young heroes," Callista said, then returned to the dark ages.
One month later…
A group of four thugs were holding up an elderly couple. As the old lady handed over her bag to one of the muggers, a boomerang came flying into the head of the lead mugger.
"It's Captain Downunder!" one of the muggers cried.
"I got him!" another said pulling his gun, but his weapon was ripped from his hands by a thing of webbing. It was Spider-Dog!
The old couple watched as the four muggers were quickly caught and handed over to the Enforcers. Commander Feral looked at them and thanked them for their heroic deed. But before the Enforcer leader left, he turned back and asked, "Don't you have somewhere to be right now?"
Spider-Dog and Captain Downunder both gasped. "Callie and Jake's wedding!"
They were out of there in two shakes of a tail, leaving behind a small calling card for the elderly couple. Up and over building they went, racing one another to see who would get to the church first. As Spider-Dog neared the finish line, he saw two kids chasing a ball into the street, unaware that a truck was coming right at them. But neither hero needed to worry, because both kids were scooped up by non-other than the Swat Kats.
As the two kids were dropped off next to an Enforcer writing a parking ticket, Razor smiled and said in a very friendly, but firm tone of voice. "Look both ways before crossing the street."
"And no playing in the street either," T-bone added.
"Thank you, Swat Kats," the children said.
Inside the church, the guests were already leaving their gifts on a table. As Felina Feral placed her gift on the table, she saw Lt. Steele picking his teeth. She could already tell by the way he was dressed and how bad his breath was, that he had been drinking. So, Felina found a good way to get him kicked out of the church.
"Where is your gift, Steele?" she asked.
Steele suddenly looked worried. "Gifts?" he asked looking at the table. "I forgot! But I guess, Zeus won't mind sharing his," he said, then quickly wrote his name over the name of Zeus.
Just then, a bolt of lightning came through the open door and there stood Zeus. The powerful half-god looked at the cowardly Lt. Steele. With only one hand, he picked Steele up by the tail and held him in the air.
"I guess this belongs to you," he said, handing the gift back to the mighty Zeus.
Felina had to fight just to keep from laughing as Zeus turned Steele into a rat, who ran off to hide from the angry half-god.
Soon, all the guests were accounted for. The family of both bride and groom sat together, just waiting for the wedding to begin. Ann Gora stood at the front, reporting everything she was seeing.
"We are coming to you live from Church on The Rock, where the wedding of year is about to happen, but before this goes down, Kats Eye News can see that there are a lot of colorful sights to see here."
Ann Gora scanned the crowd, spotting a one of the half-gods. "Oh, look, there's Sires. Sires, care to say a few words?" the reporter asked.
All Sires did was screech before looking away from the camera. Ann Gora then saw something great happening. "Oh my, the doors are parting, who's coming?" the church doors flew open and in stepped an old goat wearing a very old tunic. "It's Moses!"
Then the lovely reporter turned to another half-god who was sitting right behind her. "And your name is?" she asked holding out her mike to him.
"I'm Thor," he smiled.
Ann cocked her head. "Thank you, Mr. Thor. Once again, this broadcast has been brought to you by Viagra. Keep your dick hard like a rock but call your doctor if you have an erection lasting more than four hours."
But up in the rafters of the ceiling was the assassin Slasher. He had been tailing the SWAT Kats ever since they had escaped Hell. And here he was, ready to strike the first and final blow to Jake Clawson, who had just learned was Razor.
As Jake arrived, he took his place at the altar. He looked at Chance, his best man. This was it; he was finally getting married to Callie. As if sensing his buddy's fear, Chance walked up to him. With a smile, he nudged Jake's shoulder with his hand.
"Just imagine that everyone is in their underwear," Chance said trying to be helpful.
Jake gave quick laugh. "What are you wearing?" the groom asked his best man.
Chance blushed. "Just a jock strap," he whispered.
Then, the music began to play. In came the bridesmaids wearing a beautiful violet dress with matching gloves and heels. Finally, the Bride. Callie walked in being escorted by her father. She looked like an angel with all the white on her. That was when Jake saw Queen Callista following close behind the bride and her father.
When Callie reached the altar, the priest smiled as he crossed himself. "I will start us off with a quick prayer," he said, then crossed himself again. "Oh, Lord. Bless this wonderful day for the glory of your only son, who died for us so that we may live our lives to the fullest. Glory be to your name, amen."
"Amen," the crowd said unison.
The priest then picked up a cup of wine and handed it to Jake. "Jake, by the blood of Jesus, you have been saved to be here today," he stated. Jake took a sip and handed it back to the priest and then he handed the cup to Callie, saying the same thing. She took a sip and handed it back. Smiling, the priest turned his soon to be replacement, Father Lendon. Lendon opened the bible and began reading from the book of Genesis 1:27-29. "So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Then he told them to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have domination over all that is on it. And it has been that way since the dawn of time." Father Lendon stated reading through his bible. "This is just one of the many reasons God gave man a mate, but he also did this so man would not be lonely. When a man reaches his adult age, then he leaves his mother and father to live on his own, but he might find the one God chose for him along the way," the old priest said looked at both Callie and Jake.
Father Lendon was now reaching the end of performing the wedding. It was time to get things going, so the old priest turned to Jake first. "Jake Clawson, do you take Callie Briggs to be your wife, to be yours forever, through sickness and health, for as long as you both shall live?" he asked.
Jake looked deeply into Callie's green eyes. "I do." he said proudly proving his love for her. Then he slipped his ring onto Callie's finger.
"Callie Briggs, do you take this kat, Jake Clawson, to be yours forever more. No matter what the future may bring, to be parted only by death itself?" Father Lendon asked with a smile after turning to her.
"I do," Callie replied. She then slipped her ring onto Jake's finger. The phrase the two lovers had been waiting nearly a year to hear was about to be proclaimed. Both Jake and Callie felt tears of joy running down their cheeks as Father Lendon looked to the crowd.
"Then by the power of the church, given to me by the Lord God, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. I now pronounce the two of you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."
Callie pulled back the vale that covered her face and Jake leaned into kiss her. Then it happened. Jake and Callie's lips met, they were now husband and wife.
"She's now mine. Callie is my wife, now and forever," Jake thought to himself.
"I am now his. And Jake is all mine," Callie smiled to herself.
"And as from this moment, these two are protected by the crown of the royal family," Queen Callista proclaimed. "May God bless their union and give them many children."
Jake and Callie blushed a bit hearing that the queen was already talking about them have kids, but that was something they were going to be looking forward to. As the married couple began walking down the aisle, royal knight entered and raised their swords to show their respect. Some people dropped flowers in front of them, filling the newlyweds with warmness from their kindness.
But then Jake felt something cold run past his shadow. Harvey suddenly felt a disturbance around him. Without even thinking, he fired his web shooters, hooking both Jake and Callie, pulling them backwards. The guest all freaked as spear pierced the floor right where Jake had been standing.
The royal knight quickly looked up to see not only Slasher with his katana drawn, but over fifty other ninjas from the Red Demon clan.
"Attack!" Slasher shouted.
"Defend yourselves!" Queen Callista shouted to her knights.
