On his way to the Order, Allen Walker comes across a young priestess who reminds him painfully of himself. He cajoles the young woman to join him in his journey, but can she keep walking when her body will not hold her upright?

3. Pain

Allen stared at her, wanting it to be true, but the truth causing him great pain. If this could be done, where was she when he had to kill Mana? "If that's true, why don't you purify your mother?"

Kuri smiled, touching the akuma wrapped around her affectionately. "I think it might be too late. We are joined too closely. A-and…" she wiped a tear away "…I don't think I can live without her."

Incensed that this priestess, who had the power to take away the pain of Akuma, was refusing to live and share her power with the world, Allen turned on her, losing his cool.
