Kuri was helping the child, Jean, to his feet. "There, it's alright. Allen…how are you alive?"
"The same way you are I guess." Allen said.
Kuri looked at her flesh colored arm again. "Oh…I see now."
As Jean left the graveyard, Allen confronted Kuri. "Why did you run from me? Are you afraid of—"
Kuri put a finger to his lips. "Never. I-I had a vision of your death. I somehow knew it was because of me. Allen…I can't bear you dying for me! And then…you proved it right! You tried to die tonight! I'm afraid your number was up the moment your met me! I'm…I'm a monster, Allen!"
Allen enveloped her in his arms. "You are not a monster, Kuri. My number was up long ago."
