Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Snow Bitten. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Suicide Squad; DC and a few others do.

A rodent was one of the first things that greeted Ronsley. He did not hate the animal like Robert seemed to, giving it a small wave, which seemed to perk it up after Robert declined a shake of its hand.

Then again, compared to the bodybuilder like man who he and Robert had just met? One who looked good enough to BE a guard here? Ronsley was not really in the mood to care or question such things. Not openly, at least.

Its owner was a woman called Cleo Cazo or 'Ratcatcher II' from what Ronsley had heard. It brought many questions to the mind of the thief… Though he also stifled a laugh at how she didn't seem to care about anything but sleeping. He could attest to how NOBODY, hero, villain, criminal, or otherwise enjoyed being awoken.

'What happened to the first one?' Ronsley thought to himself as he brushed off his prison uniform.

"They let you keep a pet?" Ronsley questioned as the quartet was escorted through the facility.

"Sabastian is family, but yes." Cleo said as Ronsley hummed.

"All companions are family." Ronsley said as frost and snow leapt from his fingers. "This is going to be a VERY weird day from what I've seen so far." Ronsley said while he cracked his fingers, dispelling the ice and snow.

Waller knew that he was dangerous. It was why she had chosen him, if she had read his file? Waller would know that Ronsley still had standards, rules that he held himself to as a criminal.

"I heard 3 teams." The duo heard from Christopher which caused both Cleo and Ronsley to share a look.

"Teams?" Ronsley asked Cleo who simply shrugged at this. "What teams? What did you assign us to? I thought the Suicide Squad was one group." Ronsley said as he scratched at his neck.

"Why the snow cones, again? Kid's as fragile as a toothpick." Christopher stated as Ronsley held up a single digit towards the man.

"Let me take this neck tie off, we're see about that, muscle man." Ronsley deadpanned as he lowered his hand. "It's a question. There's dozens of people in Bell Reeve, why would you need so many people for a suicide mission?" Ronsley asked as Waller hummed.

It sounded like a shark ready to lunge at its prey. This woman could have them killed in seconds, hide their bodies so deep not even superman would have been able to find them… Then make it so it was LEGAL for her to have done so. Ronsley had his own set of fears, but Waller was not one of them until now. She was also the one who held the lease to the metahuman… One which she could pull anytime she wanted until he was dead.

"That is not part of your concern, Snowstorm." Waller stated which gained him several looks from the others.

"Snowstorm?" Robert questioned as Ronsley shrugged.

"Mr. Freeze, Captain Cold and all the better ones were taken before then." Ronsley said with a shrug. "Why? What's your super name that's so badass?" Ronsley said as Waller rolled her eyes.

"Bloodsport." Waller deadpanned as Ronsley hummed and nodded.

"Ok, that's pretty badass." Ronsley retorted as he turned to Cleo. "Ratcatcher is pretty good… Whatever the hell he's called is probably not as good." Ronsley said, smugly referring to Christopher.

"It's Peacemaker, kid." Christopher said which made Ronsley withhold a chortle that he was ready to unleash at the moment.

Still? He knew better then to mock someone who could and probably WOULD openly kill him given the chance. It wasn't like he had much reason to believe this man WASN'T a metahuman like him. One could barely tell that he was strong if they didn't notice the spider like veins and deathly cold skin that ran up and down his body.

"Peacemaker? Well, now I've heard everything." Ronsley said, earning an elbow that almost sent him to the ground.

He was able to recover, bracing his feet on the ground as he turned and offered the same digit as before. Ronsley almost contemplated freezing the man to death before remembering that he didn't have his powers at the moment.

'Damn it, I would have turned him into a snow cone.' Ronsley thought to himself as he frowned and clenched his teeth.

Sebastian looked between the duo who looked ready to brawl, even without Ronsley's powers to provide him an advantage.

"You're lucky I don't kill people who I don't think deserve it." Ronsley stated while he cracked his neck once more.

Christopher said nothing, simply turning and leaving the boy on the ground as he turned to look around once more.

"Hmm…" Waller said as she turned to walk away at the moment as she cracked a smile once more.

The group once more continued to walk around.

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will be 900-5500 words. It will also be showing the start of bonding between Ratcatcher and Snowstorm and such. Next chapter will also set up the third team that isn't in the movie and such at the moment. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: Next chapter will be delayed a bit.
