Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Snow Bitten. Enjoy the 1200-word chapter. I don't own Suicide Squad; DC and a few others do.

"Is that a great white shark… On legs?" Ronsley asked, following behind both 'Bloodsport' and 'Peacemaker'.

Ronsley had almost mocked his own attempts at a name when he had codenamed himself Snowstorm… Peacemaker went on the list as one that he almost found worse.

"What the hell?" Ronsley heard, making him turn to see people he DID recognize. "I thought you said this was black ops, not a zoo." Ronsley said as he blinked.

Deadshot, Killer Croc, a dark-skinned man with sharp claws attached to his wrists, a man with a costume resembling a retro military costume with a picture of blind justice on the chest… A man with a trenchcoat with a giant red symbol on their chest and a woman with flaming hair and a red and yellow bodysuit.

"And here I thought we were the misfits in here." Ronsley said as the other group was led away. "I thought black ops weren't something you sent an army after." Ronsley said as they were led to another cell.

"We aren't sending an army, we're sending you." Waller replied in a tone that made Ronsley feel like he was an ant.

He turned to look at Ratcatcher, she didn't look that harmful compared to the others. He was curious about WHAT had been her charge, giving someone a rat disease, property damage?

"He, ok?" Ronsley asked as he paused to scratch once more at his neck. "Their tough, I know how dangerous they can be. I had family in New York." Ronsley said as Robert rolled his eyes.

"There's worse things in York, kid." Robert put in as Ronsley shrugged.

"Then why are you standing so far away from Sebastian?" Ronsley asked as they stopped at another cell.

He got no answer which caused him to chuckle under his breath. Ronsley knew without his powers? He'd be as vulnerable as anyone was, but that didn't really bother him. Ronsley knew his powers didn't make him better then everyone. Case in point? He watched a gangly man emerge from the cell, he looked about as normal as he… But Ronsley knew Bell Reeve. You only stayed here if you had something to offer Waller's army of expendable recruits.

"Hey, Pokka Dot man, I thought you were playing at my son's birthday party!" The group heard which made them frown.

Ronsley rolled his eyes as he shook his head once more, curious as to what had made him so reviled.

"Damn, some people just find everything funny." Ronsley muttered as he shook his head a moment later.

"The other two will be meeting us in the room, Ms. Waller." An aide said as the squad followed behind her.

(20 minutes later)

The group was quite curious once more at the moment. All sat in their costumes, confused on their mission. Ronsley wore a blueish white costume with a snowflake like decal on the middle. His gloves were a shade of white with blue decals upon them. His blueish white helmet also had shades of red upon it and was shaped like a reaper like snarl with glowing blue lenses.

"Hmm…" Snowstorm said as he leaned back in his seat, leaning against the deck behind him. "Quaint." Snowstorm said as he paused to look at the others.

Bloodsport seemed to be wearing what Snowstorm believed was tactical armor. He didn't ask what all the attachments seemed to be for, that would probably be revealed on this mission which he understood well enough.

Peacemaker wore what looked like the weirdest costume he could imagine considering the uniform looked several sizes too small for him. He didn't question the weird dove emblem or the fact that the man had a gun that seemed to be the size of a dog.

Polka-Dot man… The ONLY one Ronsley considered on par with him in terms of naming with what he considered the weirdest name. Then again? Considering what he had been named…. Still? He was well enough aware of just how odd things had been. The aviator steam punk costume was cool, Ronsley would give it that, however… He was still curious WHAT his power was considering he had powers.

Ratcatcher still had Sebastian who was busy looking around. Ronsley had nothing against rats considering where he lived and part of his code was animals were innocent. That included the dogs the police employed against him.

King Shark looked about as confused as him which didn't surprise him considering NONE of them any clue what this was about…. Ronsley was unnerved around him, however. The man was a damn shark, any sane man would think about the rest point out there was going to be hell to pay if this went like it mattered.

"So, a hitman, a peace-loving mercenary, a girl who owns an army of rats, a shark man, and me, Mr. Snowman." Ronsley stated while he cracked his neck with amusement. "Damn fine strike force we have here." Ronsley added, a small smirk with amusement pulling his face apart.

"Your name is snowman?" Cleo questioned while as he shook his head, chuckling a moment later.

"Snowstorm, sorry I wanted to point out how insane this is." Ronsley added, pointing ahead once again. "There's got to be more insane moments, isn't there? I know there's more badass people then just us here. Unless you're telling me there's more normal people locked up in super jail like this." Ronsley put in, closing his eyes as he looked down at the ground.

Ronsley didn't get an answer from Waller, but it told him more then enough about this mission that it was dangerous… VERY dangerous if there was going to be people like him sent into it.

"You do not seem like a very serious man." Cleo added to which Ronsley hummed, looking around the room with interest.

"I am serious when the situation requires it. When it doesn't? I simply deal with work as best I can." Ronsley stated, pausing to take a breath of super chilled air. "But it's best to break the ice when it comes down to it." Ronsley put forward, pausing to think about the next move.

There was too much at stake for something to go wrong. He knew that when it came down to it.

He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth, pausing only to catch his breath. He damned his powers for being inconvenient like this when he needed them, but he guessed he couldn't afford to be picky at a time like this.

He watched Waller crack a small smile, curious as to what the man would do given freedom to operate.

That worried him a lot.
