Kurumu stifled a yawn as Ms. Shuzen continued to ramble on about the differences of sine, cosine and tangent. It had something to do with how each part of a triangle was related to another, which seemed rather useless beyond it being on a test. When would she need this in the real world?
Kurumu sighed as the teacher wrote equations on the blackboard. Shuzen Kuzu was the sister of one of the elders of the Shuzen family. With the educational background of a private tutor, the middle aged woman had been assigned to Yokai Academy to watch over Kokoa and Moka. She had been hired on as a first year math instructor, taking over the position Ms. Kagome had vacated after midterms.
The soft spoken woman was sporting a navy jacket over a white blouse tucked in navy slacks. Her ebony tresses were pulled back in a high ponytail. Her locks not held in this tail had been trimmed short, pronouncing her pale, pointed ears which were pierced along the top with crimson and amethyst studs. Bat shaped baubles dangled from the bottom of her earlobes.
Kurumu fought the urge to yawn again. It would be difficult getting through these first two periods of school due to staying up so late. Ms. Shuzen liked to spend half of her lecture talking to the blackboard. And the timid Mrs. Sunao rarely raised her voice.
After helping the paranormal club up the classroom, Tsukune had given her the rosary and had asked her to walk home with Mizore. Mizore had calmly maintained her innocence about not moving the coin and that Tsukune would be cursed if he did not make a baby with her. Tsukune had laughed it off, claiming he would rather risk the curse than ruin his relationship with everyone. When Mizore refused to accept this, Kurumu had resorted to using her charm by holding Mizore's hand.
Mizore was innocent. The snow girl had not voluntarily made that message appear. It was disturbing to think that some presence had been toying with them like that.
Yukari and Moka had been watching one of Kokoa's movies when Kurumu had arrived after parting ways with Mizore. The silver Moka had been angry over how long it had taken her to return the rosary. It had been a short argument with Moka swiping the rosary and putting it back on. As the vampire had already been dressed in pajamas, Yukari had helped Kurumu put the unconscious girl on her bed. Having brought her own pajamas, Yukari had spent the night.
The seal Moka had been bright and cheery this morning, making breakfast with Yukari. She was surprised that the vampire Moka had taken blood from Yukari. She seemed okay about Tsukune kissing the other Moka but Kurumu sensed the disappointment.
Moka had refused to wake Mizore up this morning. Despite vouching for Mizore's innocence, Moka refused to believe the Angel Lord would ask for such a thing. Yukari came to the conclusion that it could have been someone else manipulating the board, listing the twins as primary suspects.
This morning was the first time it had been only the three of them. No Mizore. No Rubi. Tsukune had not been waiting for them at the intersection with Miyamoto. The conversation had been forgettable.
Yukari had not made bento lunches for them since she had left her white satchel in her suite last night. It was her plan to buy a lunch from the school store after third period chemistry while they were to fend for themselves. That was fine with Kurumu since she was going to eat lunch with the volleyball girls.
The front door to the classroom was drawn aside, catching the attention of everyone.
"May I help you, Ms. Shirayuki?"
Mizore poked her head through the doorway before stepping inside the room.
"I was needing Ms. Sendou."
"You should save your gossip for between class periods."
Mizore motioned for them to come to her.
"It's about Tsukune. He's not in class."
"Is that boy skipping school?"
Mizore glanced at the snickering Wanibuchi. Turning her attention back to Yukari, she beckoned again.
"Please. I need your tracking spell."
"Ms. Shirayuki. This matter can wait until after my lecture."
"If you have no objection, Ms. Shuzen, I would like to discuss this matter out in the hallway."
Kurumu set aside her notebook, quickly getting to her feet.
"I'm going with them."
"Fine. Make it quick. When you return, do so quietly and without conversation."
Yukari murmured an agreement before slipping out of her chair. Letting Yukari take the lead, Kurumu stepped around Deshi's staff which rested on its end in the aisle by her desk. The PSC girl favored her a sly grin as they made their way to Mizore. The snow girl retreated from the door, allowing them to exit the room and shut the door behind them.
"So… what's wrong?"
Mizore backed up to the railing, glancing down the hall in both directions.
"When I arrived in class, Tsukune wasn't there."
"Why didn't you tell us about this sooner?"
Mizore regarded them with a blank expression.
"I've only been here two minutes. Nazohashi told me that he didn't come to school today."
"Your dedication to academics is admirable."
"I was exhausted after a night full of copulation."
"Save your jokes. Kurumu has already told us what happened last night."
"Should I get Moka?"
"Do we need her?"
Kurumu frowned at Mizore.
"If he's missing, we should tell her."
"Let me activate the tracking spell first."
Yukari made a quick gesture and immediately frowned.
"That's strange. He isn't here."
"That was obvious."
"No. I'm saying that my tracking spell isn't picking up anything. It's like he's not inside the barrier."
Kurumu shivered at the declaration.
"Why would he not be inside the barrier?"
"Whatever the reason might be, we need to bring this to the Headmaster's attention."
Yukari started off in the direction of the main foyer. Kurumu and Mizore quickly fell in step.
"Is it possible that your spell was canceled?"
"No. If the spell was broken, I wouldn't be able to activate it at all. Think of my spell like a phone. I picked it up and dialed the number, but the connection can't be made."
The mention of phones had Kurumu thinking about how Yukari had linked all of their phones over the summer with communication spells. So even though she did not have service, she could still call several of her friends. She had left hers in her schoolbag.
"Maybe you should get your phone and try calling him."
"Why would I do that?"
"Doesn't your toy phone work around the barrier?"
Yukari sighed heavily as they veered off to the left in the intersecting hallway.
"That won't work. Assuming he even has his phone on him, I didn't give that connection the ability to bypass the time variable of the barrier."
Kurumu nodded, recalling that Yukari had said something about the energy required to make such calls would rapidly deplete a phone battery. Yukari's mother had modified her toy phone so that it could plug into an outlet, allowing the witch to make longer calls to home.
As they passed by the door to the broadcasting room and entered the main foyer, Kurumu grimaced.
"Do you think the Headmaster would help us find Tsukune?"
Yukari snorted as they made their way to the stairs which led up to the third floor.
"Who knows? But if he refuses, I'm confident in my ability to get around his spiritual barrier, provided I can find a reliable power source to make a doorway."
Yukari had the ability to connect two doorways provided she had been to both locations. It felt like ages ago when they had discussed the option of Tsukune withdrawing from Yokai Academy so that he could be in a safer school environment. Gripping the ebony handrail, Kurumu started up the stairs.
"I wonder what his parents would say if we dropped in on them."
"I would rather not get any parents involved. There are plenty other doorways in the human realm."
They turned about on the landing and headed up the last flight of stairs.
"What if your spell doesn't work in the human realm?"
"That would suggest that he's in a different spiritual barrier or another dimension. I have no idea how we would find him."
Kurumu shivered as they reached the upper hallway. This decorative chamber featured two chandeliers. Relics of the school history were displayed on pedestals erected in the center of this room. The walls were lined with paintings. Carefully crafted benches with crimson cushions rested beneath these works of art. The wall on the right had two doors which opened into the student council room. The last door on that wall was to another stair leading up to the school bell tower.
The only door on the left wall at the very end of this chamber was for the Headmaster's office. Yukari hastened her step, knocking firmly on the door the moment they arrived.
"The door is open."
Drawing the door aside, they stepped into the spacious Headmaster's office. Thick burgundy curtains were held back with braided, golden cords to expose the massive windows overlooking the interior courtyard. Dressed in a white robe with his face hidden in the shadows of his cowl, the Headmaster was seated in the chair behind an opulent desk placed in the center of the chamber. He gestured at the vacant, black cushioned seats.
"Good morning, Ladies. What brings you to my office today?"
Yukari stalked up to his desk, ignoring his gesture.
"I have a tracking spell on the holy lock you placed upon Tsukune. According to Ms. Shirayuki, he is not in his homeroom and for some reason, my tracking spell cannot locate him."
The Headmaster chuckled, placing his elbows on his desk as he steepled his fingers.
"I see your dilemma. You believe that Mr. Aono has somehow left the spiritual barrier."
"That seems a likely explanation. Could you take us outside the barrier?"
"That won't be necessary, Ms. Sendou. I know exactly where Mr. Aono is."
Yukari crossed her arms about her chest.
"So. His absence is your doing."
"Yes. Starting from today, Mr. Aono has been allowed to train in my special place."
"Since when did you have an interest in his training?"
"Due to the recent events, Mr. Aono was pushed to the brink of becoming a ghoul once more. If not for the actions of Ms. Kurono and Ms. Toujou, Lord Chiki would have undoubtedly killed the boy. I think it is in everyone's best interests that Mr. Aono learns how to control his vampire blood."
"But you said that he could dilute this wild blood by taking blood from others."
"And I encourage that to continue. But it could take months relying on that as his only way of overcoming this burden. We only have weeks before encountering more of those whom wish to revive Alucard."
Kurumu flinched at the reminder.
"What sort of training are you having him do?"
"I have given him a magical item which suppresses the holy lock."
"Wouldn't that make him into a ghoul?"
"It would in normal circumstances. But Mr. Aono has a natural ability of breaking magical items. Through several days of divination, I concluded that he most likely will be able to use this item to train."
"Most likely? What's that supposed to mean?"
"It means that I can't say with certainty what will happen, Ms. Kurono. There's a chance of him breaking the item I gave him, rendering it useless to what I hope for him to achieve."
"And there's a chance that he'll become a ghoul."
The Headmaster sighed, relaxing back in his chair and bringing his hands into his lap.
"That has always been the case. Putting that holy lock on Mr. Aono was a huge gamble on my part. There is always the threat that he might accidentally break it and go on a rampage, killing everyone in his path until someone puts him down. We have been lucky so far."
Mizore cocked her head.
"Is it possible for us to train with him?"
"Hold up. I have to do my interviews with the volleyball team during lunch."
"Naturally that would be your protest to the idea of skipping school."
"Do not be concerned with him falling behind in his academics. Time works differently in the place Mr. Aono is training. An hour here is exactly four hours there. And there is no night so it is easy to lose all sense of time. In my divinations, I saw that in the worst cases of success, it would only take him the weekend to learn some semblance of control over his power."
"The weekend?!"
"Is there a problem with that?"
Kurumu balked at his nonchalance.
"Yea! That's like a whole week you have him locked up in there!"
"Who do you have training him?"
The Headmaster paused at Mizore's inquiry.
"Mr. Aono is in the company of Ms. Toujou and Mr. Sabaku."
Yukari nodded thoughtfully.
"I see. So if Tsukune does become a ghoul, Mr. Sabaku will suppress him with holy power while Rubi casts the sealing spell."
"Correct."
Kurumu was shocked that Sabaku Akira from the PSC was helping out. He was not the friendliest guy.
"If possible, I would like to train with him."
Kurumu frowned at Mizore's declaration.
"What for?"
"Because I do."
Kurumu felt silly for asking as the Headmaster started to chuckle.
"Are you sure about that, Ms. Shirayuki? The dimension I sent them to is a place where I put all sorts of ferocious and nearly extinct, magical beasts in order to protect them. It is not a safe environment."
"Are you trying to kill Tsukune?!"
"It's a perfect place for training a dangerous element like Mr. Aono. I can't risk him going berserk in the civilized world. What if Mr. Sabaku and Ms. Toujou fail?"
"So you're willing to sacrifice all three of them."
"I sense you are displeased, Ms. Sendou."
"I find it detestable that you treat my friends as if they are disposable."
"They are disposable. I can find others to remove Ms. Akashiya's seal such as Mr. Aono's mother. There are others whom can cast the sealing spell and others with holy powers. Losing those three is nothing in the grand scheme of things."
Kurumu scowled, clenching her fists.
"How do we get to this place?"
"There is a door in my closet which I can use to take you there. But I must warn you. The door on the other side is not a stationary thing. It moves frequently and can only be found with the device I gave to Mr. Sabaku. Where you end up might be far away from where Mr. Aono and the others are."
Yukari nodded. Turning about, she headed for the door they had come through.
"I'm going to get Moka."
"We don't need her."
"And you won't find Tsukune without my tracking spell. Wait here until I return."
Mizore grimaced, causing the temperature to dip as the witch exited the room.
"We didn't need Akashiya coming along."
"I am also opposed to the idea of Ms. Akashiya joining this when she has no reason to. But I won't stop her if that is what she desires."
"No reason to? Tsukune and Rubi are our friends."
"You should have more faith in your friends. How will they ever grow if you always hold them back?"
Kurumu paused at his admonishment.
"I don't think that applies for life threatening circumstances."
The Headmaster chuckled softly.
"Perhaps you're right, Ms. Kurono. Perhaps you're right."
"Are we there yet?"
Kurumu smirked, glancing back at Mizore in this world filled with shades of gray. While these enchanted rocks shielded them from being detected by the denizens of this tropical paradise, they did not protect them from the elements. This climate felt as hot and humid as their midday summer walk in Okinawa. The front of Mizore's thin, white blouse was drenched in sweat, fully defining her black bra.
"Are you going to make it?"
Mizore wobbled through the thick brush of this dreary forest, clutching her rock to her bosom.
"Need. A break."
Yukari sighed dramatically, pushing a black frond aside.
"Why did she bother coming?"
"Because she cares for Tsukune."
Moka walked close behind Yukari whom was in the lead. Due to the enchantment, Moka's hair was a soft shade of gray. It was like seeing the vampire Moka with the seal Moka's personality. Due to the heat, both Moka and Yukari had tied their school jackets by the sleeves about their waists.
"She's only slowing us down."
Kurumu was glad she had left her school jacket hanging on the back of her chair, though her dark colored bra was showing through her sweat stained blouse. Clutching her rock tightly in her left hand, she held out the other to Mizore. The snow girl weakly waved away the gesture, staggering through the foliage.
"Don't walk so heavily."
While the rocks made them invisible to sight, sound and smell, they could still be touched and their passage through this wilderness could alert the inhabitants of this dimension. Several times they had to beat an oversized bug or lizard senseless. It was not a fun experience.
This place was weird. She could see how it would never be night here since there was a sun on each horizon. Several planets orbited about the sky in a proximity that Yukari said was impossible due to gravity wells. The witch surmised that the sky above was a massive illusion.
Upon arrival, Yukari had activated her spell and shared the unpleasant news that Tsukune was further away than anything she had ever tracked before. That was saying much since Yukari had once used a tracking spell on Kurumu's ribbon and that had been a two hour walk from the Kanose station to her mother's cabin near the outskirts of Hekitawa.
There was no doubt in her mind that they had been walking for several hours. They had taken five long breaks with Yukari casting a recovery spell on Mizore so that she could last the next portion of their journey. Despite knowing an hour in here was only fifteen minutes at Yokai, Kurumu suspected she would not make it back in time to do her interviews at lunch.
The thought of lunch made her stomach growl.
"What are we going to do for food?"
"We'll worry about that after we find Tsukune."
"How much further?"
"It's too close for you to ask for another break so don't bother."
Kurumu held back her question of how much further was that. They progressed as silently as they could through the thick undergrowth.
After what felt like a half hour, Kurumu realized there were no signs of local wildlife. She was about to say something when Yukari let out a happy cry. The witch held up a hand, beckoning for Kurumu.
"I've found him. He's over there."
Kurumu heard the muffled sounds of something being slashed about the foliage. She heard his grunts and the pants and mewls of a woman.
"Sorry, Rubi."
"Don't worry… bout me... Tsukune. You have to… use the whip."
Kurumu pushed through the brush to stand between Yukari and Moka. Both had confused expressions.
"What are they doing?"
Tsukune was standing in a clearing surrounded by monstrous bugs and reptiles. Dressed for school, the young man held a whip in his left hand while his right was shackled. He was panting between cracks of the whip which discouraged the monsters from coming closer.
Rubi let out another moan as he startled an insect which had dared to enter his range. Wearing her pink corset bustier with the long, black skirt, the witch was down on her knees. A leather collar with metal studs was secured about her neck with a steel loop hanging from the center. This loop and the shackle about Tsukune's right wrist was connected by a length of metal chain.
"Why won't they leave?"
He cracked the whip again, causing Rubi to yip.
"I'm so sorry, Rubi."
"You must… control… your power."
Mizore staggered into them. The snow girl cocked her head as Tsukune frightened off a huge beetle. The strike from his whip was instantly accompanied by a cry from Rubi.
"That's training?"
Yukari pounded her fist holding her rock into her palm.
"I get it. Any excess power translates down the chain to Rubi."
"Why would they do that?"
"So he can tell when he's not doing it right. I imagine it would be like giving her an electric shock."
Kurumu felt awkward as Tsukune continued to fend off the monsters with each action causing Rubi to writhe. She took a step forward.
"We should help. It looks like Rubi is having a rough time."
"I wouldn't be so sure about that. Rubi wants to be punished."
"But we should help them scare off those monsters."
"Kurumu's right. He can train like that in safer circumstances."
"What's wrong with her face?"
Kurumu frowned at Mizore's question when she heard Rubi make a sensual moan.
"Yes. That's it."
Kurumu's eyes widened upon seeing Rubi's glossy eyed expression. Her open mouth was lax.
"Beat it. Harder. Faster."
Kurumu blushed as Tsukune waved his whip about more frantically under Rubi's encouragement.
"I can feel… your power… so big… pouring into me…"
With a shiver, Kurumu snatched up a thick branch.
"This needs to stop."
"I'm curious how this will end."
Kurumu shook her head at Yukari's amusement. Dropping the rock masking her presence, she strode with purpose towards the battle.
"I can't… no more… I'll break…"
Not interested in seeing Rubi climax from this torture, Kurumu picked up her pace.
"Tsukune… take me… to paradise!"
Kurumu clocked Rubi over the top of her head, cutting the girl's sensual cry short. With a genuine whimper, the witch turned wide eyes upon Kurumu.
"Having fun?"
Rubi shivered from another crack of his whip.
"We can't leave you alone with him. You're too kinky."
Kurumu turned on her heel at the sound of brush being disturbed. The other three had put away their rocks, allowing them to be seen. Mizore was leaning on Moka with support. It was hard to say if Mizore was flush from embarrassment or simply the heat. Moka was blushing while a flush Yukari snickered.
"How's the training going?"
Tsukune whirled about at the sound of Yukari's voice. His eyes went wide.
"What are you all doing here?!"
"Keep focused!"
Tsukune jumped at Moka's sharp command. He hopped back as a huge mantis swiped through the air he had been standing in.
"We'll help."
Rubi got up, shivering as Tsukune resumed his whipping. Shaking her head, she held her arms out wide.
"No! This is his battle!"
"You just want him to shock you into another climax."
Rubi blushed at Yukari's accusation.
"That would be nice."
Kurumu frowned as Tsukune successfully drove off the beasts in front of him once again, causing Rubi to tremble with joy.
"We don't have time for her nonsense. We have to clear out these monsters."
A roar tore through the sky as a dragon like creature swooped into view. Tsukune hopped back as the beast banked hard, stabbing at the ground with a scorpion like tail.
"What the hell is that?!"
Yukari gasped as the beast soared off with leathery, black wings.
"A wyvern. Why does he have a wyvern in here?"
Dropping the branch, Kurumu started unbuttoning her blouse.
"I don't know what that is, but I'll fly up there and distract it."
"Keep your shirt on, Kurumu. I can take this beast down with my magic."
"At least that thing scared off the rest of them."
"Wait, Yukari."
Yukari frowned as Moka placed her hands on Yukari's shoulders.
"Give Tsukune a chance."
"Moka. That's a wyvern. It will kill him."
"Tsukune. Your left hand. Put everything into the whip."
Tsukune locked eyes with Moka for a moment. He nodded, turning his attention back upon the wyvern as it careened down from the heavens.
Rubi tensed up as the beast banked at the last moment to swipe at Tsukune with its fanged maw. Tsukune sprung back, lashing the whip out to meet its black tongue. The beast roared, twisted aside and smashing across the ground, knocking down trees as it rolled to a stop.
"He's done it."
Rubi shook her head in awe as the beast shook off the debris. With an angry roar, it launched itself back into the sky, beating its wings to gain altitude.
"I don't know. Looks like it got right back up."
"No. That's not what I meant."
"It's coming down for another pass."
Moka and Rubi shared a glance. Moka smiled and Rubi nodded.
"Do it again, Tsukune."
The wyvern came screeching down. Tsukune looked up, clutching the whip firmly. Kurumu could feel the power building. It felt exactly like when the vampire Moka would deliver one of her devastating kicks.
"He's gathering all of his power into his left hand."
Mizore nodded at her breathy remark.
"It's strong too. Like nothing I've ever seen him do before."
"No. It's exactly how he was when he struck Lord Kamiya."
Kurumu would have to take Moka's word on that, since she had been in no condition to properly understand what was going on in the midst of that siren's debilitating melody. She only knew that Tsukune had broken out of the spell to hit Lord Kamiya.
At the last possible moment, Tsukune cracked the whip into the path of the wyvern's attack. Rubi shivered as the beast roared and crashed off to the side once again. It limped and hobbled amongst the broken trees as Tsukune steadily approached it as far as the chain would allow him.
"It's amazing. To think that we only started working on this today."
Rubi shuddered as Tsukune struck out another time, stilling the beast. Panting, the young man collapsed to his knees.
"Tsukune!"
They all hurried over to him as he pitched to the side and rolled onto his back. He dropped the whip and sighed. Taking in a deep breath, he looked up at the sky.
"It's… no good. I can't stand up."
"Are you okay?"
His eyes met Rubi's and he nodded.
"I can't move."
Moka laughed sweetly.
"That's no surprise. Even she gets tired if she uses too much of her power in a short period of time."
Tsukune grinned, closing his eyes.
"That's good."
"But how did you learn to control it so quickly. The Headmaster was certain it would take days."
Tsukune chuckled softly.
"There's something here that I've always longed for. And for a moment there, I finally achieved it."
"What are you talking about?"
"Thank you, Rubi. Because you put yourself in danger for my sake, I'm closer to becoming the person I want to be."
Kurumu frowned, not following what he was envisioning here. She sat down in the grass beside him, placing her palm on his chest.
"You do realize that she was enjoying that torture."
He grimaced. Yukari snickered, plopping down in the dirt beside Kurumu.
"I never knew you were such a sadist, Tsukune. Maybe you'll make a fine vampire husband after all."
"And my moment is ruined."
Mizore knelt down in the grass on his other side.
"You should reconsider your training methods."
"And partners. Why did he pick Rubi of all people to be locked up in here?"
Yukari snorted at her.
"Because she can cast the sealing spell."
"I knew that, but still. I wouldn't mind training with Tsukune."
"What sort of training would you do with him?"
Kurumu frowned at Mizore's question.
"Sparring?"
"Do you know how?"
"Do you?"
"No."
Yukari giggled, shaking her head.
"You're both idiots. If Tsukune wants to learn how to fight, he'll need to keep up with those lessons from Mr. Miyamoto."
"Yea… but that was impressive, Tsukune. The way you handled your energy like that. It was almost as compressed and concise as one of Moka's attacks."
"Thanks. When Moka spoke to me, suddenly it all made sense."
Moka bent down to pick up the whip. The color rapidly drained from her pink tresses, causing Rubi to gasp in alarm. The crimson eyed vampire smirked.
"Interesting. So this thing really does have the power to suppress my seal."
"Moka!"
Kurumu moved aside as Tsukune jerked up into a seated position. Yukari quickly crawled away, getting up on her feet as she regarded the vampire in awe.
"The Headmaster did say that. But I didn't think it would also suppress the magic of your rosary."
Moka clutched the whip to her bosom.
"If the Headmaster lets me keep this, I would no longer have a use for him."
Tsukune gagged as Rubi cried out in protest.
"You can't! That belongs to the Headmaster!"
"Do you honestly think you could take this from me?"
Kurumu hopped to her feet, shaking her head.
"Don't be like that."
"Yea, Moka. At least ask the Headmaster properly for it."
Moka grinned at Yukari. She reached out to tousle the witch's locks.
"I'll do that."
"Do you really mean that?"
Moka frowned at Tsukune's soft words.
"Of course. I'm no thief."
Tsukune flinched, glancing away.
"No. I meant… do you really mean that you don't need me?"
Moka's expression hardened.
"Why would I want to need a polygamist like you?"
Angry over how this would hurt him, Kurumu got up in Moka's face and wagged her finger about.
"You know damn well that he was against the whole polygamy."
"Actions speak louder than words, Kurumu. Did his loyalty stop him from fondling your breasts? I bet he would have her child if she pushed him hard enough."
Kurumu bristled over these accusations.
"So what if he has a child with Mizore?! If that's his choice, that's his choice!"
Moka faltered back a step, confused.
"Are you stupid?"
"Are you jealous? Because that's what this sounds like. What's next? Are you going to claim that only you can make him happy?"
The vampire blushed. She huffed, turning her head aside.
"Aono Tsukune. Why did you agree to learn to control your power?"
Tsukune swallowed nervously, getting to his feet.
"Because I need to become stronger."
"Is it your desire to finally become a vampire?"
"No, I just-"
"So you are not trying to become stronger for a chance at my hand?"
Tsukune sighed, looking at the dirt.
"No."
"There you have it. Why should I rely on a man whom will never fight for me?"
"That's not true! I want to fight for you."
Tsukune regarded her firmly.
"But I don't want to fight you."
Moka sighed, clenching her fist about the whip.
"Fine. I will train you for her sake. And I extend that offer to you, Ms. Shirayuki."
Mizore groaned softly.
"It's too hot for me to care right now."
Kurumu giggled while Moka smirked. Their eyes met.
"I'll also train you, if you like."
"I think I'm with Mizore. We're ready to leave."
"If we're finished here, where is Mr. Sabaku? He holds the ticket to getting us all back home."
Rubi and Tsukune shared a nervous chuckle in response to Yukari's question. Rubi toyed with her tail by her ear while Tsukune rubbed his temple.
"Yea… about that."
"He was out scavenging for food when we got attacked. We have no clue where Mr. Sabaku might be."
"Stand. Bow. Dismissed."
Kurumu promptly grabbed her jacket off the back of her chair. She probably should have put this on earlier to hide her sweat stains like Yukari had, but the male attention was not unwelcome.
"Mr. Abe and Mr. Shouhei have cleanup duty today."
Kurumu smirked at Abe as she slipped on her jacket. Shouhei wordlessly wandered off to the back of the room, intent on fetching the broom.
"Where were you two most of the day?"
Kurumu grinned at Juri before leaning over to grab her schoolbag.
"Some silly training the Headmaster forced upon us."
"Training? For what?"
Kurumu shrugged as she slung her schoolbag over her head and adjusted the strap. The sprite was toying with the strap of her own bag which hung on her right shoulder like a purse.
"He wants us to help Tsukune become a vampire."
"Isn't he already a vampire?"
"Sort of. He doesn't know how to use his power so they have most of it sealed away with that bracelet he wears on his right wrist."
"Is it wise to be blabbing about his weakness?"
Kurumu huffed at Yukari as the witch shouldered her schoolbag.
"It's Juri. What is she or anyone else in this room likely to do about it?"
"I appreciate your trust, but Ms. Sendou is correct."
Kurumu smirked at Hisakata.
"It's not a matter of trust. As a succubus, I have subconsciously caused everyone in this room to have no desire to cause Tsukune harm."
Yukari snickered, shaking her head.
"I know you're joking, but you're probably right."
"That's kind of scary when you think about it."
"I can't help it if I'm doing it subconsciously."
"I don't know about everyone else, but I'm not about to waste this early release. I'm off to visit Miho."
Ichida chuckled, sharing a glance with Hisakata.
"Well an early release doesn't do much good for those of us in clubs that are still practicing."
"Agreed. Most likely we will have a longer practice."
Juri gave Kurumu a quick hug.
"I'll see you Monday."
Kurumu nodded, offering a parting wave as the girl skipped to the back of the class. The three boys in the back row and Ichiboku had already left. Hazumi and Madosuki were giggling about something while seated at their desks. Smiling, Kurumu gestured at Ichida.
"You have a tennis meet this weekend."
"We do but it's not held here. It's against Katame Institute. We'll be leaving after dinner."
"When's your next home meet?"
"The Saturday before Sports Day. We're playing against Shimote Technical."
Shimote Tech was one of the big schools of the Chubu region, representing the Shizuoka prefecture. She had recently learned that Yamanoshita, the city where Shimote Tech was located, was hidden within Mount Fuji. It was where the track regionals would be held tomorrow.
"Remind me about it next week and I'll try to come."
Ichida shrugged nonchalantly as Hisakata walked off with Tandoku towards the front door. Wanibuchi and Yakihara were also gone. Satsuki was lingering at Deshi's desk as the foreign girl collected her things.
"Hey, Hazumi. When's your bus for regionals taking off?"
"Eight. Why?"
"Do you have practice tonight?"
"Yea. But it should be an easy practice since regionals starts at ten."
Yukari tugged on Kurumu's sleeve.
"Can we wait out in the hall?"
Kurumu nodded, starting for the back door. She waved at Hazumi as she passed.
"See you Monday."
Abe grinned at them while holding the dustpan. He offered a salute which Kurumu nodded to before turning towards the door. She exited the room a step ahead of Yukari. A few other classrooms had also let out early since there had not been a lesson today in their human coexistence course.
Regarding the shut doors to class three, Kurumu surmised that Ms. Nekonome was holding her class hostage in a study hall. Kurumu backed up against the corner railing at the crossover between classes three and ten. Having little else to do, she fished in her schoolbag for her lavender purse.
Yukari sighed heavily, gripping the railing beside Kurumu.
"I'm exhausted."
Kurumu smirked, opening up her lavender purse to fish out her phone.
"Yea. It's been a long day."
"I'd sleep if I wasn't so hungry."
Kurumu flipped open her phone, noting it was four thirty five. They had been back for a little more than an hour now.
"You could have eaten something."
"Nobody in their right mind would eat the stuff Mr. Sabaku scavenged."
Eventually they had located Mr. Sabaku. Unsure of where the others had run off to, the PSC guy had decided it was best to stay where he was and set up camp. He had been roasting up some insects when they had found him. Everyone had declined the offer to join his meal.
"You could have bought something from the school store."
Yukari groaned, leaning her head against Kurumu's shoulder.
"I should have. Aren't you hungry?"
"Yea. I hope Kokoa will let us eat in the dining hall as I'm in no mood to cook dinner."
According to her phone, they had been gone for almost six hours which had been an entire day in that realm without sleep, food or water. Tsukune had to carry Mizore for most of the journey back.
Using the bracelet the Headmaster had given to Mr. Sabaku, they eventually found the doorway back to the Headmaster's quarters. Since the Headmaster had been absent, Rubi and Mr. Sabaku had remained in his chambers to give their report of the excursion. Tsukune had taken Mizore directly to the infirmary while Kurumu had rushed to the school store to buy drinks with Moka and Yukari. It had not crossed her mind to get something to eat.
"Do you think Mizore is okay?"
"That girl is stupid. She would have died out there if I hadn't been around."
Kurumu nodded, taking a picture of Yukari leaning against her.
"Hopefully Ms. Tsumugi will be able to fix her without sending her to the hospital."
The three of them had returned to the infirmary to give Tsukune and Mizore drinks. Surprised with the absence of the school nurse, Kurumu had interrupted Ms. Hitori's seventh period sewing class to ask for help. After summarily dismissing her concerns, the phoenix had reminded her that Ms. Tsumugi was teaching the health elective. Feeling silly that she had forgotten about that change caused by Ms. Sasayaki's forced resignation during Yukari's absence, Kurumu had returned to her homeroom with Yukari a few minutes before the bell sounded the end of seventh period.
"Moka's class is out."
Before she could check on that, the back door to class three was drawn aside. Kurumu shivered as a pleasant surge of desire soaked into her core. She smirked up at the source whom was grinning wide. Ushio strolled over to her spot, wagging his finger at her.
"One of these days I'm going to throw you over my shoulder and carry you off."
"How about we settle on a picture?"
He frowned as Kurumu set her schoolbag down and held her phone out to Yukari.
"Can you take one of me with Ushio?"
Yukari took the black phone with an inquisitive look.
"I've never taken a picture with one of your phones."
Kurumu laughed, turning about and pressing back against the huge guy.
"It's not that hard to figure out. Give me your hand, Ushio."
Ushio reluctantly surrendered one of his huge hands to her which she promptly guided to rest on her bosom. He stiffened with his lust for her rapidly rising. He had big enough hands to genuinely claim that she was only a handful.
"Are you sure this is okay?"
Kurumu smirked as she cozied up with his arm over her shoulder. She probably could get his hand down to her waist if she wanted to stand directly in front of him.
"You don't need to squeeze my boob."
"Sorry. Reflex."
Kurumu grinned at Yukari whom had backed away along the railing to get a better view. The witch held the phone out in front of her with a frown.
"Figured it out?"
"I think so. Smile."
Kurumu complied with the request, shivering from the feeling of him so close to her. She remained still for several seconds, waiting for Yukari to lower the phone. Eventually the witch did, grabbing Kurumu's schoolbag before walking over to them.
"Is this good?"
Kurumu detached from Ushio to take the phone. She grinned at the image of a blushing, hulking brute of a man towering behind her. She twirled about, slipping her phone into her jacket pocket.
"I can print you a copy of the picture if you want."
"Uh… sure."
Tamaishi chuckled, clapping a heavy hand on the flush Ushio's back.
"Come on. Maybe Coach will spare us a long practice today."
Ushio nodded, faltering back a step. He looked down at his hand.
"I need a moment. This little vixen has given me something I don't want to forget."
Kurumu snickered, picking up her schoolbag.
"Don't be weird, Ushio. We can't be friends if that sort of feel means that much to you."
"Yea. Of course. Later."
Kurumu paid him no mind as she entered the classroom, noting the new tarp covering the damaged windows. Tora was alone which meant Tsukune and Mizore were still in the infirmary. Several students were chatting as they slowly readied for departure. Kurumu nodded at Goto whom passed by.
"Should you be flirting with that guy?"
"What's a vixen anyways?"
"It's a fox."
Kurumu turned to regard the one whom had given that haughty answer. Even in her diminutive form, Hiboshi Netsuki was lovely. She had bouncy, auburn curls and faint yellow eyes. She crossed her arms defiantly over a bosom which had more curve than Yukari's.
"How have you been?"
"Fine. Have you made any progress with those growth drops?"
"I've been preoccupied with other things."
"Please prioritize this, Ms. Sendou. I'm sure you have no desire to be a child any more than I do."
"Leave her be, Netsuki."
Irewata placed her hands on Hiboshi's shoulders, causing the small girl to stiffen. Irewata Haruhi was a mousy haired girl with pink eyes whom always wore the sweater vest option due to her large bosom.
Hiboshi sighed, glancing over her shoulder as another girl joined them. Arashimideru Maihime was taller than Tsukune and had joined the tennis club to be with her older cousin. Her silvery hair was cut boyishly short but had two small tufted tails in the back. The sylph from Hateshinai was Tsukune's lab partner and one of the secretaries for the class.
"I thought you were supposed to do interviews with the volleyball team today."
Kurumu grimaced at Hiboshi.
"I was. But there's too many to do during their pictures. I'll have to do it another time."
Hiboshi pulled away from Irewata with a huff.
"Your scheduling is none of my concern. We best go find out what Coach Yaisoku wants us to do today."
As the trio left, Kurumu's thoughts turned towards something that bothered her. When she had been guided through Lord Chiki's past, she had seen Hiboshi's mother through his eyes. His thoughts and feelings felt no different from her own memories. She wondered if she should ever talk to Hiboshi about that dark past which had caused her parents to separate for over eight years.
"Your boy threw it."
Ikazuchi stalked over to her with a frown. Yougan and Kamitsuku where trailing behind him with amused expressions. The only other two boys in the room were Hedoyami and Yamazaru, whom were engaged in the cleanup duties.
"What?"
"We lost our game."
Yougan chuckled, waving a hand dismissively.
"This guy is being a baby."
"Come on, man. We could have been undefeated."
Kurumu's eyes lit up as she realized this was about gym volleyball.
"That's not his fault. The Headmaster kidnapped him."
"Kidnapped?"
Yukari sighed at their confusion.
"When Tsukune was walking to the dining hall after his morning practice with Mr. Miyamoto, Rubi cast a sleep spell on him and brought him to a pocket dimension under the instruction of the Headmaster."
"Yea. We spent most of the day looking for those two and didn't get back until an hour ago. I missed my lunch with the volleyball girls and our first day using the sewing machines."
Tora strolled over with an intrigued look.
"That explains a lot. What happened to Ms. Shirayuki?"
"In the infirmary with Tsukune. That place he had them training in was like a jungle. The climate was too much for her."
"Training. Seems strange for him to take Tsukune out of school right before midterms for training."
"I know. His reasoning was that time worked differently in there so if Tsukune spent the weekend in there it would be like spending a whole week. Thankfully we were able to convince Rubi and Mr. Sabaku that there was no way they were going to live a whole week scavenging off the land."
"Yea... we're all kind of wiped out. While you guys had six hours of school, we had a whole day of wilderness survival with no water, food or sleep."
"Are you wanting to cancel the pictures today?"
"No. But I'm tempted to let you guys do it without me."
"What kind of training was he expecting Aono to do without any provisions?"
"Sabaku is quite resourceful, if you're not picky about what you're willing to eat."
Ikazuchi let out a heavy sigh, shaking his head.
"I hope his training was worth it. A perfect record ruined because we had to use someone else."
"I thought you said he wasn't why you were winning."
"That didn't mean we could grab any other guy to take his place. No offense to Yamazaru, but we already had Tamaishi. Adding another slow big guy was death to our chances of beating senior class two."
"Though having a three way tie for first isn't that bad. We beat second year class two whom beat the team we lost to. The next best record in our gym period was seven and four, held by your homeroom."
Kurumu perked up, surprised none of the guys in class had mentioned that.
"Is it true?!"
Kokoa bounded into the room at the same time as her excited cry. She pushed Ikazuchi aside, causing him to stumble against Yougan as the grinning vampire grabbed Kurumu by the arm.
"You have an item that fixes my sister!"
Kurumu threw a glance at Yukari whom retreated back a step.
"Um... where did you hear that?"
"Kokoa, wait!"
Moka pranced into the room, shaking her head. Like Yukari, the vampire had fixed up her jacket to hide the sweat stains of her blouse. Ishiko wandered in behind the tall vampire, messing with her goggles.
"There's no point playing dumb. Pinkie there told me all about the whip and chain."
Tora arched an eyebrow.
"Do I want to ask what that's about?"
"Why did you tell her about it?"
"Well... it felt wrong to offer to train you guys and not my own sister."
"Cough it up, short stuff. I know you have it in your bag."
Yukari sighed dramatically, opening up her schoolbag.
"I suppose you want to see if it works."
"You know I do."
"We don't know if we have permission to keep it though."
Yukari snorted, pulling out the coiled whip. She handed it over to Kokoa whom squealed with glee.
"You say that, but she refused to leave it with Rubi."
Moka sheepishly looked away, fidgeting with her hands at her waist.
"Well... she's angry at the Headmaster."
"Huh? Why?"
"For having this thing and never giving it to her."
Kokoa hopped over to Moka, holding the whip out to her.
"Show me!"
Moka smiled, taking the whip from her sister. Her pink hair immediately turned silver.
"This only partially suppresses my rosary, Kokoa. I'm not as powerful as I would be with it removed."
Kokoa happily threw her arms about Moka.
"That's fine! I'll train with you. We can all become stronger together!"
"Whoa! Your hair changed!"
Ikazuchi nodded at Yougan's observation, stroking his chin.
"I kind of like it."
"She's had it like this before when visiting Tsukune at our dorm. Her personality is slightly different."
"Only because you boys act like children."
Kamitsuku chuckled, holding his hands up. Yukari sighed heavily as she pulled out the links of steel chain from her schoolbag.
"We have no idea how long the Headmaster has possessed this whip. While it wouldn't surprise me if he had it all along and was toying with us, there is a chance he was not being a malicious dick."
"No. I'm sure he had it but didn't feel like sharing this because it doesn't remove my rosary."
Yukari nodded, fishing the rest of the chain out of her bag.
"Probably so. What do you intend to do if he refuses to let us keep it?"
"We need this for training. If he wants us to get stronger to fight off Lord Fujisaki and his cronies, he must let us keep it."
Yougan chuckled, breaking the serious atmosphere.
"This sounds all over my head, so I'm getting out of here. Best of luck to you."
"Hold up man. We got lolis, whips and chains. I have to see this play out."
"Where's your devotion to Mini Minx?"
"Every person needs a little variety."
Yukari snickered, shaking her head.
"Maybe we should give this degenerate a shock he won't forget."
"Are you forgetting that electricity is my domain?"
Yougan laughed, grabbing Ikazuchi by the collar and tugging him back.
"Come on, you dope. You have a bus to nationals leaving at six. You don't have time for this."
Ikazuchi whimpered an incomprehensible complaint as the pair exited the room.
"Do you think they'll start volleyball practice right away?"
"Doubtful. The third years are in that college entrance exam course so they'll be in class till the final bell."
Kurumu nodded at Yukari's conclusion. She placed her schoolbag on the nearest desktop.
"Hey, Kamitsuku. Do you think getting a shock would be arousing?"
He coughed up a laugh, shaking his head.
"Where did that come from?"
"I'm afraid to ask where that came from."
Yukari snickered at Tora's remark.
"Tsukune was trying to learn to channel his energy and was using this chain as a grounding wire. If he lacked focus when using the whip, excess energy would travel down the chain and give Rubi a shock."
"Why am I not surprised to hear that this has something to do with Ms. Toujou?"
"It was weird. I swear that girl had an orgasm from the training."
"I'm starting to question if this training was any better than the nonsense Ginei subjected us to."
"That sounds like some pretty kinky stuff. But I'm not about to stick a fork into an outlet to find out."
Yukari smirked at Kamitsuku's comment.
"Pleasure is all about the release of dopamine. Once your brain identifies something as a reward, it will release dopamine so that you will seek it out again. This happens for food, sex and anything you have convinced yourself is good."
"So one man's pleasure could be another man's pain?"
"Precisely, Mr. Yamabato. Rubi has convinced herself that punishment is good for her, which has caused her brain to release dopamine when she gets hurt. As long as the activity is not life threatening, she will take pleasure in spankings and shocks."
Kurumu gestured for Yukari to hand over the chain.
"So if I were to get shocked, I could enjoy it?"
Yukari frowned, surrendering the chain to Kurumu.
"It's possible. Are you planning to test it out?"
Kurumu smirked as she took the metal studded collar and wrapped it about her neck. It was thick and she doubted it would bend easily except in the way it was meant to. She fastened the buckle and fished the steel loop through the hooks, surmising it was hooked to a piece of flexible metal embedded inside this black leather band.
"I'm thinking that I at least need a jolt to my system or I'm going to pass out."
Moka chuckled, presenting the whip to Kokoa.
"If that's the case, I think your Lady should be the one to do the honors."
Kokoa frowned as she took the whip, causing Moka's hair color to instantly return.
"What am I supposed to do with it?"
Kurumu grabbed the length of chain and held out the handcuff end to Kokoa.
"You hold this in one hand and crack the whip with the other."
"Go easy on her, Kokoa."
Kokoa grinned malevolently as she took the handcuff in her left hand. Squeezing the cuff tightly, she nodded at Kamitsuku.
"Move it, tubby, or you'll get hurt."
Kurumu had a moment to comprehend the error of her decision before Kokoa cracked the whip, almost striking Kamitsuku. She barely registered his protest as a painful spike of energy singed her neck and rushed through her body, causing the small hairs on her arms to stand up in attention. Her whole body tingled and she would have wet herself if she had not been dehydrated from the long day.
"Nope!"
She shook her head, quickly fumbling with the steel loop hooked to the collar. Her fingers trembled as she struggled with the clasp.
"Nope, nope, nope. There's no way she should feel good from this."
Yukari frowned as Kurumu managed to free the loop from the collar.
"Are you sure?"
"It burned my neck."
She fumbled with the latch, loosening the collar. She shivered as she took it off and handed it to Yukari.
"Ooo. It's so red."
"Hey guys! What are you up to?"
Kurumu shuddered as she turned about to greet the cheery blond. Kana skipped down the aisle as the bell sounded the official end of the school day.
"The girls are testing out S and M."
Moka and Kokoa shared confused glances at his remark.
"S and M?"
Kana grinned and Tora wagged a finger at the blond.
"Don't enlighten these two."
"Why not? It's probably normal behavior in vampire society."
"They wouldn't look so clueless if it was."
Kana clucked her tongue, stepping by Tora to pat Kokoa on the shoulder.
"Nonsense. It's the words they don't understand. S is sadism while M is masochism."
"Liking to fight isn't the same as taking pleasure in hurting someone. Kurumu is being a baby."
"I'm not! That didn't feel good at all!"
"Fine. Let me try it."
Kokoa thrust out both hands, presenting Kurumu the handcuff and the whip. Kurumu smirked, taking both and nodding at the desk where she had put the steel loop and collar.
"Be my guest. We'll see who the baby is."
Yukari shook her head as Kokoa put on the collar.
"It's not going to work. You don't have an issue with controlling your energy. That's why the other Moka said to give it to Kokoa. She's the least disciplined with her powers."
Kokoa glared at Yukari as she fished the steel loop into the collar.
"Perhaps you should be the next one to wear this collar."
"I will only try it out if my Moka is the one holding the whip."
Kurumu shivered, her body still tingling from the effects. The aftershocks were nice but there was no way she would ever use an electric shock to trigger them. There were nicer ways to make her quiver.
"Are you ready?"
Kokoa smirked at her defiantly.
"Are you?"
Kurumu gripped both the handcuff and whip tightly. She turned slightly so that she would aim down the aisle without hitting anything.
"You better not complain if this hurts."
"Shut up and do it!"
Kurumu snapped the whip as hard as she could, making a satisfying sound against the floor. Kokoa laughed maniacally.
"Is that the best you got?"
Kurumu frowned, cracking the whip again.
"Give it to someone else, you pathetic excuse for a monster."
Kurumu growled, striking out with the whip again and again till she was panting.
"You heard the brat. Either you have perfect control of your energy, or you don't have enough energy to cause me the slightest bit of discomfort."
"It's also a matter that you are striking with your dominant hand. That was why they had Tsukune using his left hand during training. It's harder to focus your effort in your other hand."
Kurumu whirled about with wide eyes upon Moka's explanation.
"But she was using her right hand."
"Well… Kokoa has a lot of untapped potential."
"Here's my club… or at least most of it."
Ginei grinned as he entered the room and strolled over to them. He came to a stop beside Moka, gesturing at Kokoa and Kurumu.
"What's with the whip and chain?"
"We've learned that Kurumu doesn't have what it takes to be a dominatrix."
Kurumu frowned at Kana's remark, unsure what that word meant. Ginei chuckled softly, sidling over to Kurumu and taking the whip from her hand.
"Of course not. Kurumu's not the sort to enjoy inflicting pain on others."
Kurumu blushed, thinking she might have enjoyed it a little to wipe that smug look off Kokoa's face.
"Why don't we have Ginei take a crack at it?"
Ginei laughed at Yukari's suggestion as he held the whip to his chest.
"I know it might surprise you, but I'm not keen on the idea of hitting a girl even when she deserves it."
"May I suggest we at least attempt to talk about our club activities today?"
Ginei grinned at Tora's suggestion.
"Of course. I was down in the practice gym with Mitsuki and Mika, eagerly waiting to assist Kurumu with her volleyball pictures when they reminded me that I should check on the rest of my club first."
Kamitsuku chuckled, waving his hand.
"I'll take that as my cue to head down there."
Kurumu nodded as the stocky boy retreated down the aisle.
"I'll see you in a bit."
He sounded an acknowledgment as he grabbed his things at his desk.
"So. Is there anything we need to discuss?"
"Well… I was wondering if some of you would be interested in combining my article with a study session for the club. The literature club fully intend to have their own study session after I'm done with the article, which is why they scheduled it after dinner on Tuesday. I figured we could do the same."
"I think that's a good idea for you first years."
"You could come too."
"I have my own study sessions planned that week. Are there any other concerns?"
Everyone shook their heads. Kurumu shrugged, handing Ginei the handcuff which he absently took.
"I need to reschedule a lunch with the remaining volleyball girls."
"What happened there?"
"Long day and I'm not going to do the remaining interviews with their pictures. It would take over an hour to do six girls and one teacher."
"I suppose that's fine. Have any of you set up something with the Sadou club yet?"
"I was planning to talk to Ms. Sawayaka about it at the Saturday meeting."
"Don't worry about that, Moka. I'm spending the weekend with Ms. Sawayaka and Ms. Meirowasa."
"Is Satsuki included in this?"
"Yea. It felt odd last weekend when I spent most of my Saturday in the dorm. I'll talk to them about scheduling a lunch. It won't be before Tuesday, so Kurumu can have her volleyball lunch on Monday."
"It sounds like we have everything handled. My only question is where Tsukune and Mizore are."
"In the infirmary."
"What are they doing in there?"
"Is this wolf going to crack the whip or what?"
Ginei frowned at Kokoa. Yukari sighed heavily, gesturing at the whip.
"The reason why Tsukune is in the infirmary is because he's watching over Mizore. She passed out from exposure while he was training with this to control his power."
"Control his power?"
"The whip suppresses his holy lock, allowing some of his vampire power out. He was using the whip to focus his energy. If he failed to focus, the excess energy trailed down the chain to give Rubi a shock."
Ginei smirked, shaking his head.
"I can imagine how that went."
"We had Kokoa try it out on Kurumu and it worked the same way, though Kurumu didn't enjoy it."
"Also not a surprise."
"And Kurumu threatened to return the favor but she can't do it."
Ginei nodded, lifting his hands up. The whip was in one hand while the handcuffs were in the other. He smirked at Kokoa.
"You know… I don't need to crack a whip to send an energy spike."
"Oh yea? Big talk from a-"
Kokoa smashed through the wall in the blink of an eye. A cloud of dust settled about the new hole in the wall between classes two and three. Kokoa was sprawled out in the middle of the adjacent classroom, her limbs twitching.
"Well then."
Ginei dropped the whip and the handcuffs on the floor.
"Shall we go down to take those pictures?"
"Will she be okay?"
Kokoa sat up sharply, her hair frazzled. She turned wide eyes upon them.
"Are you trying to kill me?!"
