Hello, all! Welcome to Part 2! This takes place a few hours after Goliath talks with Angela, covered in "Part 1".

Enjoy!

Family Bonds – Part 2

The Clan made it back to the castle with about a half hour before sunrise.

"A quiet night," Lexington noted. "Man, those are great!"

"They work for me!" Broadway agreed.

"Still no sign of those Quarrymen yet," Brooklyn said. "That's weird."

"Aye, that be troubling," Hudson agreed.

"They're probably gearing up to hit us when they're ready. The jerks!"

Goliath and Angela landed among them. "We'll just stay watchful and mindful," Goliath declared.

"Yup." Lexington stretched. "Well! Time to get some sleep."

"Wait a moment, everyone. Before we prepare to rest, I wanted to speak with everyone."

"Are we in trouble?" Broadway asked, nervously.

"Should you be?" Goliath asked in return.

"Probably," Brooklyn shrugged. "But… we lose track of what we do you'd be mad about."

Goliath stared at Brooklyn. "What do all of you do when I'm not present?"

"You…" Lexington rubbed his head, "…probably don't wanna know."

Goliath groaned.

"Let's move on!" Brooklyn implored.

"That's sound great!" Broadway agreed.

"So, what's up, Goliath?" Lexington asked.

Goliath shook his head and exhaled. "I have some news to share with you all."

"Something wrong?" Broadway asked.

"Personally, I do not believe so. But… I wish to discuss it with you and see. I already spoke with Angela about it, but it's something the entire Clan should know."

Brooklyn raised his hand.

"Yes, Brooklyn?" Goliath asked.

"Can I take a guess?" Brooklyn asked.

Goliath blinked, staring at Brooklyn, confusedly. But Goliath nodded.

"You and Elisa are dating now, right?" Brooklyn asked.

Goliath froze in place for a moment. "Well… yes."

"Awesome!" Broadway shouted.

"Totally called it!" Lexington declared. "Told you guys it was gonna happen soon!"

"Yeah, finally!" Brooklyn said. "It just took forever!"

"At long last, the blessed day has arrived!" Hudson declared, happily, accompanied by Bronx barking in delight.

Goliath stared at them all in shock then shook his head. "How did…"

"Oh, c'mon, Goliath!" Lexington interrupted. "It's been almost hilariously clear to all of us how you guys feel about each other. For a long time, it's been obvious!"

"Yeah, we were wondering what was taking you guys so long," Broadway said.

"And wanting to talk to Angela alone was a dead giveaway," Brooklyn added.

Angela giggled.

"This is fantastic news, Goliath!" Hudson patted Goliath on the shoulder. "Elisa is a wonderful person. I can't imagine a more perfect mate for ya!"

Bronx barked in agreement.

"Thank you," Goliath stated, relievedly. "I can't express how much of a relief it is that all of you approve."

"Why wouldn't we?" Lexington asked. "Elisa's a member of the Clan as much as any of us."

"Just… a human and Gargoyle courtship is…"

"Hard," Brooklyn completed. "Difficult. We get it."

"But you guys will figure it out," Broadway said.

"I mean, you've got the love part down already," Lexington said.

"We understand ya bein' worried, Goliath," Hudson said. "The future is… uncertain. Even more so these days. But ya've never been one to fail at something you set your mind and heart, too."

"And you and Elisa know we've all got your back," Brooklyn said. "It's your relationship but whatever we can do to help? We're in."

"Absolutely!" Lexington agreed.

"Here, here!" Hudson shouted.

Angela smiled at Goliath. "Told you."

Goliath looked at the Clan. "Not in all the world would I find better friends nor a more loyal Clan. Thank you all."

"You always got our back, Goliath," Lexington reminded. "As long as we can, we'll always have yours."

Goliath smiled and nodded. "Everyone… thank you."

A/N: There you have it! I hope you guys like it!

So far, I have about six parts planned and they should come out within the next few months. This is assuming other projects don't distract me. And they might, I can't lie. But I hope to do more Gargoyles stories after "Family Bonds" is over. We'll see! Thank you all and see you soon!
