Taut

Tsubasa was no stranger to the traditional art of Kyuudo. She was only vaguely familiar with it though, having never practiced it herself. So it was with some embarrassment that, after failing to land a single shot on the targets downrange, she found herself with Chris pressed up against her back and holding her arms to steady her grip on the bow.

"Senpai, you can't exactly shoot straight if you can't stop trembling like that. What's wrong?"

The problem now was that she was acutely aware of how surprisingly firm Chris' arms were. It shouldn't have been too surprising, considering how long the shorter girl had been in the Kyuudo club and the upper-body strength required to properly handle the bow, but she was still caught off-guard by it.

"No seriously, Senpai. Stop shivering like that. Is there something wrong?"

Tsubasa was thankful Chris had the Kyuudo uniform on, including the chest piece that somehow kept her usually bountiful chest in check. Otherwise she didn't know what she might've done if the stimuli of that were added on top of the pile too. Her traitorous mind quickly got to work on that thought, conjuring up the image and sensations of Chris chest pressing against her back and nearly driving her mad.

"… Senpai I've let go of you and you're still shivering. Are you sick or something? Do you need me to take you to the Infirmary?"

Hug

Chris didn't often ask her to drop by her apartment. Whenever she called and Tsubasa wasn't out on tour or busy with other matters she was quick to subtly (Read: Not Subtly at all) drop whatever she was doing at the time to come visit. Usually, these matters weren't urgent or important. But Tsubasa didn't mind them, personally. Using whatever excuse she could get to come visit the shorter girl without arousing too much suspicion.

(At least, that's what she thinks. But everyone by now knows her true motives and simply takes it in stride, finding it more endearing and cute than anything)

The way it goes, she'd end up by Chris' front door, knock on it, then be quickly dragged in by the shorter girl with surprising strength and forced to hug her. She'd rest her chin on the taller girl's shoulder, humming in satisfaction and Tsubasa would reassure her that it wouldn't hurt to ask of this more often. She'd express guilt, not wanting to drag her away from her duties and Tsubasa would silence those complaints of hers with a pat to the head and more reassurance to get rid of her worries. Telling her to focus on the moment and enjoy it rather than worry about little things like that.

More often than not, she'd stop listening halfway through, the calming, relaxing feeling of fingers running through her hair making Chris languish in an almost cat-like manner in Tsubasa's arms.

Chris still swears on her soul that she does not purr, but Tsubasa's learned by this point the exact way she needs to pet Chris on the head to get her to do so, much to the girl's embarrassment.

Suit

Neither of them liked the idea of clubs or dance parties, the events and venues often too crowded and loud for their tastes. But they made an exception for tonight after Tsubasa was invited to one and asked to bring a plus 1. Usually this role was fulfilled by Ogawa, but with the shinobi off on business elsewhere Tsubasa had few others to turn to for help.

So here they were, entering the club and drawing eyes all over with Chris in particular drawing the most attention for her choice of dress… or suit, in this case.

While Tsubasa came dressed in a semi-formal evening gown that gave her enough room to dance and move without trouble, Chris had opted to surprise her by coming in a black and red suit, topped off by a pink tie Genjuro had been nice enough to lend to her for the night.

Thanks to this, most attention was taken off Tsubasa and more directed at Chris, the people present wondering who this mystery date that the famed Idol brought along with her was. Because even to the most sight-impaired of observers, it was obvious Chris was a girl as well, her suit doing little to hide her chest.

Tsubasa didn't mind this in the slightest, even thankful for this fact now that she didn't need to suffer the usual tiring socialization that came with parties like this. It certainly helped that Chris playing a more rogue-ish persona helped drive away most that were too timid or polite to strike up a conversation with them, and the few that did Chris handled just fine on her own.

The highlight of that evening, to Tsubasa, was when Chris had invited her to the dance floor with a confident, teasing grin that left Tsubasa blushing as she took the shorter girl's hand. As they practically glided across the dance floor, stepping to the beat of a song Tsubasa couldn't recall, hands held and fingers intertwined as they stared into each other's eyes. It felt almost magical.

Tsubasa decided then and there to try and invite Chris to be her partner to future events like this. The shorter girl certainly looked dashing dressed to the nines in a suit and the sight of it was something the bluenette found herself wanting to see more of.
