" What is that you're not telling me?"
For an hour or two so far Tara and Jax has been watching their sons running around and playing in the park, while they were both sitting there in silence and since Jax hasn't really said anything, Tara knew something wasn't right.
Jax sighs deeply as he was hoping he could wait to tell her, but looks like he's gonna have to tell her now." I got some new information about the new club."
" Okay... like what?" Tara asked as she sat up straight and looks at him as she gave him her full attention.
" The reason why they want to take over Charming and wants to push Samcro out, is because they want to sell guns and drugs. Their President Brock also wants to open up a strip joint in Charming."
" But they can't do that. Not after everything you did to get Samcro out of guns and drugs. They can't just come in and take over Charming like that."
" Yeah, I know."
" So, why am I the one who's being targeted? Makes no sense."
" According to Juice, their President thinks if he can get rid of the old lady of Samcro's President. He has a better chance of pushing the club out of Charming."
" Oh my God." Tara gasps as she covered her mouth with both of her hands and shook her head." Jax..."
Jax quickly grabbed Tara into his arms and pulls her closer to him as he kisses the top of her head. He then lifted her chin up as he shook his head." I am not going to let anyone hurt you Tara."
Tara took a deep breath as she closed her eyes." I know that Jax and I got no doubt that you will do anything to keep me safe and protected. Is it possible that Gemma is behind this?"
" Opie pretty much said the same thing this morning. But I didn't really put too much thought into it. I mean she's sitting in a cell, with no contact of the outside world and no protection. So, how can it be Gemma?"
" Think about Jax. You're mother tried to kill me last year because I framed her for the fake miscarriage. She even tried to get you or the club to do it. Not to mention I don't really think your mom wasn't too keen on you getting Samcro out of guns. She's not a member but she as hell as does act like it sometimes."
When Jax found out that Tara faked the pregnancy and this miscarriage last year, he was hurt and so angry at Tara for lying to him. He was even more angry that Tara would actually frame Gemma for it. He always knew things between his wife and mother had more intense especially after Tara got out of prison. He never thought Tara would've taken things that far. But, when he realized she was she was desperate to get out and with her trial coming up. He understood her reason. When Gemma tried to talked to Jax into killing her because of what Tara did, and since Gemma felt Tara had ultimately betrayed her, Gemma felt Tara should've been dead. But Jax couldn't kill his own wife, he may have been mad at her. But killing Tara was never an option, still isn't. He couldn't put his sons through that. When Gemma learned that Jax refused to kill Tara, she tried to get Happy to do it which made Jax more angry. But when Happy also refused to do the job, Gemma ended up doing it herself or at least attempted to kill Tara.
Jax could remember it like it was yesterday. He had just gotten back from Oakland, after his meeting with Alvarez. When he walked into the front door, he half expected to see Wayne and Tara sitting in the kitchen talking since his truck was outside, but when he turned around and found his wife being faced down in the sink full of water and his own mother holding Tara's head down while holding a carving fork above the back of Tara's head, Jax just stood there frozen. But the moment Jax watched Gemma bringing her hand down and was about to plunge the fork into Tara's head. Jax quickly ran into the kitchen and quickly pulled Gemma off of Tara and actually slammed Gemma against the wall knocking the fork out of Gemma's hand.
Jax also remembered he spent over a week at St. Thomas right beside Tara waiting for her to come out of her coma and since then, Jax vowed to always keep Tara safe and protected no matter what.
Jax sighs as he nods her head." I think I might have to pay mother a visit."
" Are you sure you wanna do that?"
" Of course, I don't want to, but what choice do I have? I mean if Gemma is actually behind this, I need to find out."
" What if there's another possibility?"
" Like what?"
" Maybe, the Irish is trying to push the club out of Charming by bringing in a new club, so they can keep guns in Charming."
Jax sighs heavily as he ran his hand down his face and pulls on his beard as he didn't really think about the Irish being behind this whole thing as well. But like Tara said it could be possible.
" I gave Lin the Irish pipeline so they can keep the guns. I will meet up with him and see if he knows anything." Jax said as he leans down and pressed his lips against her forehead and held her closer to him. He sighs as he felt his burner vibrating.
Pulling it out and looking at the screen." It's Tig." Jax said as he answered right away." What you got for me?"
" Not much brother, but Happy and I think it could be something. How soon can you get to the clubhouse?"
" I will be there in ten minutes." Jax said as he closed his burner and turned his attention back to Tara." Ready to go home?"
Tara nods her head." Yeah, but I gotta change Shannon real quick. Can you get the boys into their car seats?" Tara asked as she gave Jax a quick kiss as she grabbed the diaper bag and grabbed Shannon's car seat as she headed towards the parks restroom.
When Tara got Shannon changed and dressed, walking out of the restroom Tara noticed a man standing by the wall. She just nodded her head and continued to walk towards Jax and her boys.
" Everything okay?" Jax asked as he took Shannon from Tara.
" Yeah, everything is fine. I just wanna get home and relax with a glass of red wine." Tara said with a smile as she got into the driver's seat and started the engine as Jax got Shannon strapped in between her brothers. She looked through her review mirror as she watched Jax getting on his Dyna. Once she heard the engine roar from his motorcycle, Tara started to drive out of the park's parking lot with Jax following behind her.
The man who was watching them leave got back into the van." You do realize getting to her isn't going to be that easy, right? Especially with him around."
" Yeah, I am starting to see that, but Like Brock said he wants us to take the President's old lady. out. It's the only way to push Samcro out of Charming."
The man just scoffed as he shook his head." I still don't see why he wants Charming so bad. I mean there's nothing special about this small town."
" Tell me about it, but Brock wants Charming for some reason and he'll do anything to get Charming." Klaus said as he started the engine." Let's get the hell out of here and try to figure out what to do next." He said as he drove back towards their little clubhouse.
AN: Here's a new chapter already!! Not a whole lot going on yet. So the reason why the name of the driver of the van changed because there's two other men from Ghost Riders in the van. came up with the driver's name which is Klaus ( Popped in my head).
