Sometime after the next Extermination, the streets are being cleaned up around Pentagram City of all the unfortunate souls who got killed by the Exterminators. Alastor was on the balcony, looking out at the streets when Charlie and Vaggie joined him.
"Such a shame, but oh well, it happens" said Alastor.
"Yeah…it sure does" Charlie replied, a little sad about it.
"Which reminds me, we can only speculate what our old pall Nightfright has planned for this year" said Vaggie.
"Indeed he will. I asked him about it and he said that he'd rather keep it a surprise for everyone" said Alastor.
"Hmm...I wonder what he's up to" Charlie asked.
"Oh I'm sure we'll find out soon enough" Alastor replied.
Then…CRASH!
Something crashed onto the ground down the road. Everyone looked and was horrified to see that it was a bus, chewed to bits and on fire. After hearing a loud growl everyone looked behind the destroyed and smoking bus, only to see a gigantic nightmarish dinosaur of some kind come from behind the smoke and let out a loud roar.
It was 20 feet tall and 50 feet long. It had 4 eyes and it's top and bottom jaw split open as it roared, revealing row after row of jagged razor sharp teeth. It had arms with 6 long sharp claws and what looked like sharp spikes or quills going from it's head all the way down it's back.
Everyone started running for their lives and hid in alleyways or inside buildings for safety as the gigantic living nightmare walked forward, the ground shaking with every step it took.
"He's...insane" said Vaggie.
"Astonishing…I'm impressed" said Alastor.
"I honestly can't believe this. Who…who authorized him to create something this big?! When my dad finds out about this he'll find him and kill him for it" said Charlie.
The nightmare dinosaur stopped in the middle of the territory, looked around at the empty buildings then slowly opened it's mouth, splitting it's top and bottom jaw into 2 parts to everyone's horror. After a few seconds it started to blast a large amount of blood red fire on everything around it, turning the ground and buildings to nothing but red fiery ruble and ash.
"When he said he was trying to make highly effective living weapons, I didn't think he was going to do something as crazy as this" said Charlie.
"My best guess is for him highly effective means bigger and deadlier" said Alastor.
"It certainly looks that way" Charlie replied.
Nightfright was grinning as he watched the whole thing from the top of a nearby rooftop.
"This…this right here, is easily one of my crowning achievements" he said to himself.
Suddenly, he got a call from Lucifer and he picked up, a little nervous.
"Hello" he answered.
"Lilith and I are out on the balcony watching what is happening right now. We can clearly see smoke and red fire coming from one part of the City" said Lucifer.
"Yes, like I already told you your majesty, my latest and deadliest living nightmare needed a…test run. And I thought, this couldn't be a more perfect time" said Nightfright.
"Hmm...very well then" said Lucifer.
"Just make sure it doesn't destroy too much Nightfright" said Lilith.
"Don't worry your majesty, I won't. It's only a test run, not a turf war, I'm not into those kind of activities" said Nightfright.
"Alright then, take care now" said Lucifer.
He hung up and Nightfright continued watching the carnage. After about a minute the Diabolus Rex had destroyed and burned almost half the territory, roaring in victory as it did so.
"Well done my ferocious pet, you've made your master proud. Now return to base and resume your patrol" said Nightfright as he snapped his fingers.
The Diabolus Rex froze for a second before turning around walking back the way it came.
"It stopped" said Vaggie.
"That's a relief" said Charlie.
Nightfright was about to head out when he heard a female voice behind him say "So…you're the infamous Nightfright".
"Yep, that would be him" said another familiar voice.
He turned around and saw Angel Dust and Cherri Bomb looking at him.
"Oh, it's just you two" he replied.
"Yeah, quite the 50 foot monster you've made" said Angel Dust.
"You say monster, I say one of my greatest achievements, the Diabolus Rex" Nightfright replied.
"Diabolus Rex, cool name" said Cherri Bomb.
"Yeah, it's catchy" said Angel Dust.
"Thank you" Nightfright replied.
"Alright look, can you ease up with the territorial destruction? You're kind of killing my fun here" said Cherri Bomb.
"Sorry, my new pet needed a...test run. And what better time for a test run then now" Nightfright asked.
"So this is the last time you'll do this destructive shit after the exterminations" Cherri Bomb asked.
"Yeah, my work here is done for good" Nightfright replied.
"Great! Thanks a lot for that. I can finally start blowing shit up again" said Cherri Bomb.
Nightfright just smiled and shook his head.
"Come on Angie, let's go. We've got shit to do" said Cherri Bomb.
"Right behind you, see ya later alligator" said Angel Dust.
They both then left with Nightfright just letting out a slight sigh.
"I'll deal with them later" said a voice with a snake lisp.
Nightfright looked behind him and saw Sir Pentious with a few of his Egg Bois.
"I've had enough of you ruining my plansss Nightfright, it is high time you be dealt with" he said as he got his blessed spear out.
Four tentacles then came out of Nightfright's back, ending in what appeared to be snake heads with glowing red eyes. He let out a sinister cackle as he spawned two giant nightmare bats in the air behind him and they landed right beside him.
"Do you have any idea who you're dealing with" he asked, still grinning.
Sir Pentious' face went from unhappy to worrying, to scared.
"Oh shit" he muttered, realizing the mistake he's made.
"But have it your way" said Nightfright.
The snake arms quickly charged up and fired blasts of grayish red energy at them but Sir Pentious managed to dodge them, leaving the Egg Bois that were with him to get blown to bits. He tossed his chain at him to tie him up, only for one of the nightmare bats to intercept it and bite it. The giant bat then started shaking both it and him around like a ragdoll.
"That's the great thing about being me. Not only do you have pets that are extremely loyal to you, but they'll defend you at all costs" said Nightfright.
"Bloodwing toss him" he ordered.
The Bloodwing spun Sir Pentious around then threw him a good distance. He landed in the middle of the territory, about 50 yards away from the Hotel.
"Is that...Sir Pentious" Husker asked.
"Yeah, it's him alright" Charlie replied.
Nightfright quickly absorbed the two nightmare bats and teleported a few yards away from him. Everyone saw him and all sinners and hellborn demons quickly scattered out of fear.
"Looks like Nightfright and Sir Pentious are fighting it out" said Niffty.
Sir Pentious got up and tried to chain him up again, this time succeeding and wrapping him up.
"Ha! I got you thisss time" he said, grinning as he got his spear out.
Nightfright quickly morphed his right arm into a blade and cut himself free from the chains much to Sir Pentious' disappointment.
"I don't have time to deal with you and your childish tantrum you snake" said Nightfright.
"Childish tantrum? How dare you good sssir" Sir Pentious asked, outraged.
"It is! You're acting like a child over something so stupid as this" said Nightfright.
"Hey! Nothing about this is ssstupid" said Sir Pentious.
"Well, maybe it is with you sitting at the table" said Nightfright.
Sir Pentious crossed his arms and said "Well I never! You sssir have no class".
"Well at least I'm not a power-hungry jerk like you" said Nightfright.
That made Sir Pentious angry as he got out his blessed spear with a not so happy look on his face.
Nightfright just grinned then laughed.
"Haha, that's cute. Wanna see mine" he asked.
His right arm then morphed into a long gray blade with a red eerie glow. Sir Pentious just looked at his own weapon then back at Nightfright.
"Oh boy…" said Charlie, nervous.
"This is gonna be intense" said Niffty.
"Quite so I'm afraid" said Alastor.
