Chapter 2: Moxxie and Millie Meet Via
In Hell, it was raining heavily. An imp couple were riding in a cab. One of them was a slender male imp with white freckles and white hair, navy blue spots on the horns as well as his suit, and black rings on his tail. The other one was female and she had black horns with white lines, greyish black hair, black dimples on her face and black lips, black clothing like overalls for a crop top as well as ripped pants and gloves. Thus, she had white spots on her tail along with the white tip of her tail. They each had big yellow eyes with black pupils.
When the two imps found a good place to stop, Moxxie called out to the driver, "Stop the car, please!"
The driver stopped the cab, so he could drop off his passengers.
"Thank you," Millie said as she and her husband stepped out of the taxi, which soon left them.
Outside the taxi, Moxxie opened up his umbrella since it was raining and Millie joined him underneath it as they walked in the streets. The two were looking for a place to stay that was dry and safe for them.
A sniffling sound broke the silence and they followed the noise to see what was the matter.
"Oh, crumbs," Moxxie gasped, seeing a poor owlet inside the subway, sobbing. She was wearing a purple coat with a purple Barret and a grey plaid scarf with black lines.
"Are you alright, my dear?"
Hearing his voice, the girl owl turned around to face the imp couple.
"Here, sweetie. Dry your eyes," Millie told the young owl as she offered her a tissue.
Octavia blew her nose and returned her tissue back to the female imp.
"Now, that's better," Moxxie said.
"So tell us, what's troubling you, hon?" asked Millie.
Octavia sniffled. "I'm...I'm lost and I'm trying to find Blitzo." With that, she pulled out an article from her coat pocket and handed it to the couple.
"Well, let me see here," Moxxie told her, putting on his reading glasses and began to read, "Famous Detective Solves Baffling Disappearance."
"But where are your mother and father?" Millie looked at the girl with concern.
"T-that's why I m-must find Blitzo!" Octavia wept, covering her face in her scarf.
"There, there, there! Now, now, now!" Moxxie said, trying to calm her, "We don't know any Blitzo."
Octavia looked up at them with her puppy eyes. This caught the couple's attention and Millie smiled saying, "But we do remember where the Pride ring is."
Octavia's eyes lit up and she hopped off the bench. "Now come with us," Moxxie urged. "We'll find this Blitzo together." And Octavia followed Moxxie and Millie out of the subway. On the way, she told them about her kidnapped father and how he became missing in the first place.
