Hello again, sorry for taking too long with this one! I'm surprised that people actually like this fanfic that I wrote. I wanna try to make it as accurate to the source material as I can and try to have some fun with it as well. If you have any critiques at all, please leave a review and show me what I can do better. Anyway, here's chapter 3, enjoy!
Chapter 3, the demon of shujin:
As the trio came back into the real world, they would end up on some street, temporarily gasping for air as they ran away from the castle as fast as they could. The blond would regain his composure, asking the frizzy black haired guy "did we make it?" the doctor would pipe in saying "hopefully, this looks like reality… it better be!" The frizzy black haired guy would pull out his phone to check if it had any signal, only to be met with a voice from the phone saying to them "you have returned to the real world. Welcome back."
the blond would have a surprised looking face after hearing that voice, he would then say aloud "huh? Returned? Does that mean we got away?" then the frizzy black haired kid would say in response to the blond "I wonder…" The doctor would have a curious look on his face as the blond made this remark, the doctor was about to pull out his sonic screwdriver to scan the frizzy black haired guy's phone, but he then had the feeling that they were probably fine and it wouldn't be needed. The blond would then say to the frizzy black haired kid "I dunno what to think anymore… what was all that anyways? That castle, and kamoshida, and that weird cat! The hell's goin' on!?" The doctor would then immediately make a correlation after hearing about this "kamoshida", it must've been that guy in the painting and the one those two locked in the cell back in the castle, but he would retort the blond about Morgana saying fastly "hey! He said he wasn't a cat, remember? Get a grip." the blond would then say to the doctor "but what else am I supposed to call it?! It's just not normal at all!"
Soon after the conversation was over, the trio would be approached by 2 officers, one on a bike and one on his feet. The one cop on his feet would sound aggressive and say to the blond and the frizzy black haired guy "what's with the yelling? Are you students of shujin? Cutting classes, are we?" the blond would immediately say to the cop "huh? No! We were tryin' to get to school, and we ended up in this weird castle!" the cop would sigh in annoyance and say to the blond "...what? Hand over your bag. Better not be doing any drugs." before ryuji could say anything, the doctor would step in and say to the officers very fast "no need for that officers- shows them his psychic paper and says I'm a special agent, been hearing about strange happenings going on and happened to find these two. Right now I'm taking them back to their school, you can go about your business for today gentlemen!"
The officers were gobsmacked when they saw the psychic paper with the officer on the bike saying "we're so sorry sir! We didn't know this had something involved with the diet, we'll keep this quiet and be on our way!" The cops then quickly went off to do something else important and the doctor would look back at the blond and the frizzy black haired guy, he had a cheeky smile as well, like he did something really cool to impress them. The blond would immediately shake his head and say to the doctor "man, ya know what, I don't even wanna know what you did to convince them to go away… sigh this is really effed up." the doctor would then say in a more upbeat tone and fast to the blond "hey! Don't worry, I think with this sort've thing we experienced, it's best not to get the cops involved. Anyway, forgot something really important, what are your names gentlemen?" The blond would say to the doctor "Ryuji, Ryuji Sakamoto, I'm a 2nd year student at Shujin academy." The frizzy black haired guy would then say to the doctor "I'm akira kurusu and I'm also a 2nd year.''
The doctor would then say to the both of them with a brighter smile than before "well akira, ryuji, glad to finally know your names. But right now, I think we should get to Shujin, yeah?" Akira would look to the doctor, saying to him. "Thank you by the way doctor, for showing us the way out." The doctor would look to Akira with a humble expression, saying to him "Oh please I barely did anything. You're the one I should be thanking with your super powers that saved us, I was just a passenger along for the ride. But I'm curious..." His expression would then change to that of curiousity, mumbling to himself "how do you have powers like that? what on earth..." The doctor would then see a look in Akira's eyes, he saw a glimpse of what he was: a good person, someone you could trust. Yet there was also more to him, yet he couldn't quite understand it. before the doctor could think more on the situation at hand, Ryuji would check his phone for the time and realized both him and Akira were late for school, and so he would say "s-shit! We gotta run!" as the two students started running to school, the doctor would frown at ryuji swearing and yell out to them "hey! No swearing!" He then started running and catching up to them to get to Shujin academy and see what it was actually supposed to look like instead of a castle.
A few moments later
As the trio arrived at where Shujin academy was located, they would see that it was an actual school instead of the castle that was in its place, Ryuji would have a shocked look on his face and said "is this for real…?" The doctor would look sort've unimpressed at the look of the academy and say to the two students pretty fast "eh, I've seen better, I remember this academy for genius students. What was it again? Rattigan academy? Deciptively too good to be true, though the founder was… was…" the doctor then started to remember the young founder of the academy, Luke Rattigan, saved both the doctor and the earth, even after… nah, he shouldn't dwell on the past too much, he was about to resume talking before Ryuji interrupted him saying "nevermind that! I'm sure we came the same way… what's goin' on here?" Then a person saw them from atop the stairway of the academy and said to Ryuji "That's exactly what I wanted to ask you. Hmm, it's rare not to see you alone. Where were you roaming around until this time?"
ryuji would've said something, but the doctor would say to the person before ryuji could sound crazy "traffic has been hell for them from what it seemed, I offered them some help, though I wish I could've helped them more." The doctor then smiled and hoped that Ryuji and Akira would go along with this, and of course they did, nodding along to what the doctor was saying, after all who would believe that they were taken to some strange castle that happened to also be the school? The person would seem surprised and say "really? Hmph, I guess you're right, traffic has been pretty hectic lately, I'm a counselor for the school. Who are you?" another guy would walk in on the conversation, he was wearing black gym pants with a white t-shirt and wore a gym timer and whistle around his neck, and it looked just like that guy in the weird castle. He would then ask the counselor "what seems to be the problem sir?"
Ryuji would become absolutely shocked, proceeding to say aloud "Kamoshida!?" the man that seemed to be kamoshida would have a sort've superior acting tone and said to Ryuji "you seem so carefree, sakamoto. Quite a difference from when you did morning practice for the track team." Ryuji would immediately become agitated because of that comment and try to retort it saying "shuddup! It's your fault that-" the counselor would sound angry and intervene in the conversation saying to ryuji "How dare you speak that way to Mr. Kamoshida! He then calmed down a bit and said ...There's not much leeway left for you, you know?" Ryuji would then say to the counselor in a more serious tone "He's the one that provoked me!" The doctor could see that this school was definitely favoring a teacher over doing their duties as staff of the school, it was probably just as bad as that time he encountered a group of krillitane, power hungry bunch that's for sure. and horrible school staff!
The counselor would then say to Ryuji in a mildly rude tone "do you really want to be expelled!? In any case you have to explain yourself! Follow me!" Ryuji would become more frustrated, saying to the counselor "what!? This is bullshit!" Kamoshida would then sound less like he was acting superior and sound more chipper saying "come now, I should've been more considerate, too. Let's just say that we were both to blame." the counselor would then sound unsure saying to kamoshida "well, if you say so..." Kamoshida would notice the doctor and ask him "and who are you supposed to be?" the doctor would get up the stairs, trying to act as if he hadn't seen him before in a castle and said to kamoshida very fast "I'm the doctor, I was coming down here to apply as a teacher here when I saw those two students were stuck because of traffic, I offered them help and here we are!" The doctor then gave a big friendly smile, with one of his "trying not to act suspicious" faces. Kamoshida would then laugh a bit and say to the doctor "really? You seem pretty eccentric about this, just go on up to the principal's office Doc, I'm sure he'd love to hire you." The doctor would then head straight to the door of the school, entering it's door's and realizing that he forgot to ask where the principal's office was!
He was really lost in this place, trying to find the office while also looking like a huge idiot. While he was doing this he passed by what seemed to be the faculty office and decided that maybe he could get some help from the teachers. He would enter the office to find a woman there that was probably a teacher as she stood out a bit from the others in the room, she had a yellow long sleeve shirt and a blue skirt, white shoes and seemed to be working on a computer for something. The doctor would approach this woman and say to her "Hello, can I get some help? I'm trying to reach the principal's office to apply as a teacher, can you give me some directions?" the woman would look over to the doctor after hearing him ask for help, he looked pretty strange but harmless, she would say to the doctor "umm, I'm sure that Ms. Chouno could take you there, she's right over there." she would then point to a tanned woman wearing makeup and a beautiful purple dress, the doctor would thank the woman and go over to Ms. Chouno, proceeding to ask her if she could take him to the principal's office, she smiled and said that she had time before her class had to start. While the doctor was following Ms. Chouno to where he needed to be, he had thought to himself who the trickster would be, he needed to "guide him" as that message said… but with him going to become a teacher at this school, this felt all too familiar
And now the doctor has met the real kamoshida and his shadow, and now he's becoming a teacher at Shujin? This is gonna be interesting, what will the other teacher's think? Who else will the doctor meet? We'll see soon, allons y!
