Hero grew up in a small cottage in the dwarf forest with his younger sister, Ollia and his mom and dad, Jack and Goldilocks. He had fond memories of his parents and their relationship. They were respectful of on another and worked well together. He felt like an outsider from his sister every now and then because violence helped him sleep. Or his fell asleep at the sound of being bounced around. He never knew. Hero always hoped (pun intended) that he could find a girl like his mother and they could have a relationship like his mother and father.
Little did he know that it would literally come in the form of hope.
Hero was out hunting one day when he came across a carriage wreck. Near the carriage wreck was a girl and three men dressed in armor. The girl however was different. There was something magical about her. She didn't look like his aunt Alex who was the fairy godmother, but she looked amazing and royal. She a long silver blue dress, had long blonde hair and looked about three years older than him.
She wore a glass crown and seemed to be enjoying the nature around her.
"Your majesty." one of the guards said. the girls turned to him. "
"Yes, Sir James" the girl said.
"Our carriage. Shall we send a message to your mother?"
The girl seemed to be too distracted by all the nature around her. She was admiring a flower. Hero was hiding in the bushes near by.
"You can never trust everyone you come by" His mother would tell him while growing up. So Hero was carful. But there was something calming about this girl. She was kind and into everything she came along in the forest.
"Lady Hope!" The guard said. The girl, Hope, jumped and turned to look at the guards.
"Sure. Whatever" Hope said and she returned to a flower she was admiring. Hope was enchanting to Hero. He never knew this but he must have a thing for blondes. She seemed to loved every part of nature and Hero's home.
"Excuse me" Hero said and excited the bushes. The guards drew their swords and Hope got behind the leader.
"Who are you!? State your name!?" The leader said.
"I am Hero. I assure you I mean know harm!"
"What do you need, Hero?"
"I couldn't help but notice you seemed to be stranded."
"We are merrily on an adventure"
"Sir James!" Hope said behind him. "We have been without shelter for four hours." She turned to Hero. "yes! we are hopelessly lost and we need help getting to the Northern Kingdom"
"I can help you. The northern kingdom is 20 miles north and one mile away from the center kingdom's wall. I can give you a map, fix your carriage and you'll be on your way."
"Could you? Oh thank you. I am Princess Hope of the Charming Kingdom, by the way. And these are my body guards, Sir James, Sir Henry, Sir Elliot and Sir Den"
Princess? Hero just smiled, fixed up the carriage and sent this enchanting and beautiful girl on her way.
