After the death of Akio Harutomi, the organisation's founder, the Dark Tunnel was fell in disarray. The organisation itself was burdened with internal rivalries, leading to the several breakaway factions. Some have defected to the Erionians, some have rebranded themselves as rogue groups and some have claimed to be 'Harutomi's rightful successors'. But there's one person who's more than willing to carry the wishes of the late Harutomi.
R. Vasudevan, popularly known as Dev. A long time friend of the founder, now the current leader of the Dark Tunnel and one of the most wanted individuals in Far Northeast. The Dark Tunnel was reunited again under his leadership, and their numbers increased more than before.
While the authorities and the media portrayed him as a villain, his personality is very much different from Erionian propagandas. Everyone inside the organisation and those who he helped seeing him as a father figure, a caring brother, a noble leader, a kind friend, a brave warrior and a man full of principles.
"We're not going to send our undercover agents inside the Infester Slayer Corps anymore" Dev said. "This is my final decision"
"What!?" Everyone inside the meeting room were shocked of their chairman's decision.
"Dev-san, you can't be so serious!" the only female in Dark Tunnel's Central Committee was disagreed.
"We need to keep our eyes on every Erionian affiliated groups! I'm objecting this!" a committee member who sat opposite of her protested.
Several of the committee members also expressed their disappointments.
"Everyone, please calm down! Don't interrupt the meeting session please!" Sunil, the secretary tried to calm down the situation. "All of you better sit down right now and listen to what the boss says!"
Sunil failed to control the situation, much to his chagrin.
"Got any idea?" Sunil asked Na-jong, the vice-chairman.
Na-jong pulled out a ladle with a pan before knocked it several times. The rest of them finally went silent.
"We're in the meeting session right now. Please don't make any ruckus or I'll burn every of your teddy bears" Na-jong warned. "You may continue, Mr. Dev"
"I know...some of you may disagree with my decision, but don't worry" Dev said again. "After discussing with our Intelligence Division chief, we've decided to set up a new plan"
"A new plan, Dev-san?" another committee member was dumbfounded.
"Yes, we'll create a big surprise soon" Dev nodded.
...
"I saw it, Tanjirou! I saw it!" Zenitsu was panic.
Zenitsu was about to tell his friends about what happened last night.
"Alright, I shouldn't bring him to the haunted maze yesterday" Sabito sighed.
"You go to haunted maze?" Inosuke was munching potato chips.
"Zenitsu, can you just tell us right now?" Tanjirou demanded. Nezuko and Takeo weren't present since they're going for separate missions.
"Tanjirou! I saw the same boar-human hybrid from our last mission running on the street Otto was chasing that beast and addressed it as Inosuke! Nezuko-chan and you are also there too!" Zenitsu explained with terrified expression. "AND I EVEN SAW ANOTHER ME!"
There rest of them only gave him a weird stare.
"What!? There's a boar impersonating as me!?" Inosuke's was shocked.
"Please don't tell me you've a nightmare again" Sabito frowned.
"No! It wasn't a nightmare! I saw it with my own eyes! They're real!" Zenitsu screamed.
"So do you want to say Kurokawa-san illegally conduct an experiment to create an army of human-animal hybrids and clones of us?" Sabito hypothesised.
"But Nezuko-chan and I didn't go to Otto's house last night" Tanjirou clarified.
"That's really weird" Makomo commented.
"Or maybe that's another you from alternate dimension" Muichirou said.
"What?" Everyone then looked at Muichirou.
"What do you mean about alternate dimension?" Zenitsu was dumbfounded.
"How can such a thing is possible?" Yuichirou asked his younger twin brother.
"Well, do you guys still remember when Otto told us about creating portals to alternate dimensions?" Muichirou reminded his friends.
"Yes" Tanjirou nodded. "And speaking about Otto, i just remember when he told me about a similar incident during the night of Urokodaki-san's birthday"
"What's it?" the rest of them asked Tanjirou.
...
"LET ME GO, YOU BASTARD!"
Other Sanemi kept banging his hands against the prison cell's door in unfathomable rage. The other two pillars meanwhile were assigned to another prison cell.
"I swear if I successfully released myself from here, then i'll crush every parts of your bones!" Pillar Sanemi threatened.
"Can you shut your mouth a bit!?"
Other Sanemi just heard a voice from the neighbouring cell. It was the voice of Mordrezan.
"Your voice are making my ears almost deaf! You better sit quietly in your cell before I'll cut your tongue!" Mordrezan threatened.
"AND BURN IT!" Orbaum yelled.
"Shut up!" Vozurek scolded.
"Do you think I'm afraid of your petty words, huh!?" Other Sanemi was upset.
"You still don't know am I!? I'm Mordrezan! I'm the greatest scientist back in my home planet!" Mordrezan boasted about himself.
"Oh yeah!? I'm one of strongest Hashiras in Demon Slayer Corps!" Other Sanemi taunted.
"Oh, Strongest Hashira? Are you a sewage plant worker?"
Mordrezan laughed mockingly with the rest of the aliens.
"YOU BETTER NOT MAKING FUN OF MY POSITION! I'LL KILL YOU! ALL OF YOU!" Other Sanemi was more angrier than before.
"SILENCE!"
Other Sanemi and the aliens were silenced by an Erionian prison guard.
"If I hear any shouts from even one of you, we'll not hesitate to send you to our labor camps in Caldanis! (Erionian name for Galileo, Jupiter's moon)" the prison guard warned them.
The prison guard then pointed his stunt baton towards Other Sanemi.
"Especially you, caveling!" the prison guard narrowed his eyes.
"If I'm a caveling, then you're a devil!" Other Sanemi death glared at the prison guard.
The prison guard however wasn't too bothered to teach the Wind Pillar a lesson as he then walked away.
