Special appearance in this chapter: Shadow the Hedgehog
"Shinobu, look! I found a very big acorn for you!" Other Inosuke gave the Insect Pillar an acorn plush doll. The boar boy took it from the living room's couch.
"Thanks, Inosuke" Other Shinobu took the plush doll.
"Inosuke, that's not a real acorn" Other Zenitsu said.
"Shut up, Monitsu!" Other Inosuke shouted.
Soon, Other Tanjirou entered the room as he carried a bowl of cereal with a glass of milk and a green apple on the tray. It was Otto who prepared the breakfast.
"Here's your breakfast, Shinobu-san!" Other Tanjirou smiled.
"Thank you, Tanjirou" Other Shinobu thanked him.
Out of sudden, Other Inosuke took the apple from the tray, much to Other Tanjirou's chagrin.
"Inosuke! Put the apple back! It isn't nice to steal other people's food!" Other Tanjirou scolded.
"But I've already gave Shinobu an acorn!" Other Inosuke replied.
"It's okay, Inosuke can take the fruit" Other Shinobu said.
"Shinobu-chan, you can't simply let Inosuke to steal your breakfast!" Other Zenitsu protested as he then glared at Other Inosuke. "Inosuke, you better give back that apple immediately before i'll burn your boar mask!"
Other Tanjirou only could sighed at his friend's behaviour.
...
"I can't risk her safety anymore since Eggman was targeting her, so that's why Maria and I have created a portal to escape into your world" the anthropomorphic ebony hedgehog, Shadow said.
Not far from a small lake in the public park, Shadow sat on the bench as he hugged his knees, with Tanjirou sat next to him.
"What is exactly Eggman want to do?" Tanjirou was curious.
"She has the knowledge of an ancient weapon which can destroy a whole planet, and Eggman wants to use it for his evil plans" Shadow answered.
"What!?" Tanjirou was shocked in disbelief.
"I know that it sounds illogical to you but I'm speaking the truth" Shadow said.
"Shadow, I didn't meant to make laugh your words but..." Tanjirou gulped. "That was the most gruesome news I ever heard"
"Eggman is a crazy scientist, remind you" Shadow said again.
Tanjirou then went silent for a few seconds.
"Shadow, don't you feel lonely after you escaped into my world?" Tanjirou asked.
"Why I must be lonely when I've Maria at my side?" Shadow rolled his eyes towards him.
"Actually, I was talking about your other friends" Tanjirou said. "And in fact that you're the only anthropomorphic animal in this city, and perhaps the only one in my world"
"I don't think if Faker is troubled from my disappearance, and Rouge still contacting me as usual" Shadow was referring to Sonic and Rouge.
"Do you have any plan to return to Mobius for a while?" Tanjirou asked again.
"I do...but not for now" Shadow lowered his head a bit.
"Aoko! Aoko!"
Soon, Tanjirou and Shadow noticed Inosuke and Aoi passed in front of them. And the girl held a mango flavoured candy in her hand.
"Aoko, give back my candy!" Inosuke pleaded.
"Nope!" Aoi huffed.
...
"I can't let them to go outside there, it's too dangerous" Konstantin said.
Inside a coffee shop, Konstantin stood in front of his junior colleague, Petro.
"You did the right thing, Kurokawa" Petro replied. "I don't know what will happen to them if they're arrested by the Erionians. Those mad scientists probably might transformed the youngsters into a bunch of mindless minotaurs"
Petro then took a bun from the plate.
"I'm just thinking about this recently" Petro splitted the bun into halves.
Konstantin took a sip of coffee.
"We need to build a portal machine to send them home" Petro suggested.
"Build a portal machine?" Konstantin placed the cup back on the table.
"Well, this is not their real home, no matter how advanced the condition in here" Petro stated. "They're facing too much danger in here if more longer they remained in here!"
"But the problem is their friends are still outside there! They don't want to go home now before they find the rest of the others" Konstantin said.
"We may never know if they hiding somewhere inside the city, so that's why we need to find all of them first" Petro replied. "Better we search for them now or they'll become the slaves of Demaclos"
Konstantin finally went silent.
