Notes: Meta Knight will return as a special appearance in this chapter

"And the Infesters were led by their overlords, Lord High Commissioner Vodnek and General Goriun" Mordrezan explained to the Wind Pillar.

"Are they vulnerable to sunlight?" Other Sanemi asked.

"No, they don't but they prefer to strike in the night time since the humans are already sleeping in their house" Mordrezan added.

"Wow, they're more dangerous than the demons back in my world" Other Sanemi commented.

"Believe it or not, but they can create a powerful bomb to destroy an entire planet" Mordrezan said. "Just place the bomb inside the planet's core and KABOOM! The planet was blown like the crunchy pieces of human cookies!"

"BURN THE COOKIES!" Orbaum shouted.

"What?" Other Sanemi was looking a bit terrified.

Soon, the Wind Pillar and Mordrezan noticed a strange masked creature walked alone in the hallway. And much to the elderly alien's shock, the creature was none other than Meta Knight himself.

"Oh no, it's you again! What are you doing in here!? Your presence only make my eyes painful!" Mordrezan was unsatisfied.

Meta Knight only gave a silent glare.

"Because of you I'm trapped in this stinky place! Now I've lost my freedom!" Mordrezan said angrily.

As usual, Meta Knight remained silently.

"Do you want to fight, huh!? Come here if you dare!" Mordrezan challenged.

Meta Knight however walked away from there instead.

"How dare you!? You'll pay for this, vile creature! And I'll remember it!" Mordrezan became more angrier.

Other Sanemi only gave a weird stare.

"What the..." Other Sanemi was disbelieved. "What kind of creature is that?"

...

"I don't know where did this mutant samurai came from but surely I can say that he's a dangerous one!" Kyogai told the rest of the executives. "And he even looks exactly the same as Tsugikuni-san's twin brother! The only difference is he got six red eyes on his face!"

"Six-eyed mutant samurai?" Kanae's eyebrows arched.

"That sounds weird" Sanemi commented.

"Did Muzan was trying to create a mutated clone of your twin brother, Tsugikuni-san?" Tamayo asked the chief executive.

"I don't know about this but this is a not good situation" Yoriichi said.

"Perhaps this mutant is a some kind of shapeshifting alien of some sort" Giyuu speculated.

"If that so, why he choose to take a form of a samurai?" Obanai was curious.

"That's the point" Kyoujurou opened a can of coffee.

"But there's something that I don't understand" Kyogai said.

"What's it?" Yoriichi asked.

"I don't understand why the multiple-eyed samurai addressed me as the Lower Rank Six" Kyogai replied.

"Lower Rank Six?" Giyuu was dumbfounded.

"Was he mistaking you as one of his former underlings?" Tengen was the next to ask.

Well, I'm not sure about that" Kyogai said again.

"Anyway, it seemed that the swordsman might be a high-ranking Infester so we need to be careful and stay alert" Yoriichi speculated. "Probably it was Vodnek who sent the swordsman here to do his biddings".

"High-ranked or not, I'm more than ready to slash them all!" Sanemi exclaimed.

"Namu Amida Butsu" Gyoumei clapped his hands.

As a few seconds passed, the chairman of the Infester Slayer Corps then entered the lounge room. And his wife who's also the secretary, Amane followed him from behind.

"Ubuyashiki-sama" Yoriichi addressed Kagaya.

"I'm sorry for being a bit late but there's something i need to inform all of you" Kagaya said.

...

Deep inside a dark forest, the Upper Rank demons gathered together in front of their master. And Akaza was explaining everything about the battle of previous night.

"I was fighting against our doppelgangers, but they're equally strong as us although they're not demons" Akaza explained. "They addressed themselves as... superhumans"

"Superhumans?" Demon Muzan narrowed his eyes.

"Perhaps they're the Upper Ranks of thi-"

"Silence!" Demon Muzan yelled against Demon Douma.

"But there's something I need to tell you... about the Dreadlord who saved me" Akaza was referring to Varimathras.

"That Dreadlord didn't even try to kill you?" Demon Muzan felt suspicious.

"No, but he gives me a warning" Akaza said.

"A warning?" Demon Muzan replied.

"Yes, he warns me that if I'm not being careful, someone might steal my powers" Akaza said again.

Demon Muzan however bursted into maniacal laughter.

"My Lord?" Akaza was dumbfounded.

"Is there something funny, Muzan-sama?" Demon Douma wondered.

"You believed that lunatic monster's words!? For hundreds of years, the damned Slayers tried very hard to get rid of us but you claimed that there's a powerful being can steal our powers so easily!? We're the strongest beings in the world! Of course we're undefeatable!" Demon Muzan boasted.

Akaza wanted to speak, yet he finally decided to remain silent.

"My Lord...what are your orders for now?" Demon Kokushibou asked.

"I want you to locate Ubuyashiki and his other minions" Demon Muzan ordered. "And find out more about the the doppelgangers, perhaps i should convert them to become the demons too"

"Understood" Demon Kokushibou nodded.

Akaza meanwhile was shocked in disbelief. He understood the real motives of his master, but having two same persons from different timeline sharing the same Upper Rank position probably was was the craziest thing he ever heard.

...

The pictures of Demon Muzan and the Upper Ranks appeared on a large screen. The Infester leaders, Vodnek and Goriun set their eyes on the screen as they were planning for their next moves.

"The Demon Lord and his Upper Rank demons... I see" Vodnek was amused. "The Erionians have unknowingly paved the way for the mighty horrors of the night to enter our universe...how foolish"

"How can our rivals didn't even noticed of their existence?" Goriun narrowed his eyes.

"They only know how to enslaving the weak ones, Goriun...but they never have a chance to take down a stronger opponent" Vodnek said.

"Do you have any plans for them, Vodnek?" Goriun asked.

"Well, of course yes" Vodnek smirked. "I'm planning to recruit them into our fold. We need all of their strength to accomplish our further goals, and with my help they'll able to roam under the sun again"

"I'm respecting your decision, my liege but how can them willingly to join us? Surely they would rather choose to die in our hands instead of fighting alongside us" Goriun was skeptical.

"Don't worry, Goriun. Sooner or later, everyone will know them as the mighty warriors of Gorgoron, and they'll fight under the glorious banner of our emperor" Vodnek was confident.

Goriun then went silent.

"But if they still refused to join us, then I might consider to subdue them by force" Vodnek added.

Vodnek finally walked away from the screen.

"Let's go to the Earth now, Goriun. We've no time to waste" Vodnek said. "By tomorrow, whether they'll bow to us or not, it's up for them to decide"

Goriun then followed him from behind.

To be continued...
