A/N: I don't own any of the characters except my own.

The next day, Elliot arrived in Chicago and checked into his hotel. He called Sam to let her know he was there. They set up a time and place to meet.

Erin had been looking through the files she had for most of the night and determined that Elliot Stabler and Samantha Miller were working together to keep Hank and Olivia apart. That did not sit well with her. Hank was the only father she had ever known and Olivia had been more of a mother figure to her than Bunny ever was. Bunny had died recently but not before she made peace with Hank, Olivia and Erin. Ever since Erin had been in New York, her relationship with Olivia had become stronger. She would hate to see someone try to come between the 2 people she cared so much about and would do anything for. She called Jason and asked him if he wanted to go to Chicago with her. He said he did. She called their Supervisor and told them she had a lead on something, so they needed to look into it. She told him exactly what was going on. He was fine with them going and if they needed help, to contact the Chicago Field Office. Erin made the arrangements, packed some stuff and went to pick Jason up. They went to the airport and waited for their flight.

Hank, Olivia and Noah had just gotten back from breakfast with Hank's squad. He told them that he put his papers in and was planning to retire in 30 days. None of them were too surprised, since they knew that dealing with a long distance marriage hadn't been easy for them. Noah was watching a movie in his and Daniel's room and Hank and Olivia were downstairs in the living room.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm still upset about what happened with Deputy Superintendent Miller yesterday. I don't appreciate her flirting with you."

"I don't give a crap about her. Although I'm expecting to hear from her after putting my papers in."

"If you have to go see her, then I'm going with you."

"I'm a big boy. I can take care of myself."

"I don't trust her."

"You can trust me."

"I know but I still think I'm going to call Lucy and see if she can come get Noah. That way we can have some time alone for a few days. I love you."

"I love you too but you have your own squad to deal with."

"That was one of the things I was talking to Fin about yesterday. I have a feeling you need me here more than they need me."

"I always need you. You know that."

"I always need you too."

They started kissing and then they watched a movie.

A couple hours later, the flight from New York had arrived. Erin and Jason got off the plane and went to get their luggage before going to get their rental. They drove to the hotel and got checked in before they headed over to Hank's. When they arrived, they got out of the car and went to ring the doorbell. Hank got up and answered the door.

"Erin."

"Hey. This is my partner, Jason Peters. Jason, this is Hank Voight."

"Nice to meet you."

"You too. Come in."

"Thanks."

They went inside and into the living room.

"Hey, Erin."

"Hey, Liv. This is my partner, Jason Peters. Jason, this is Hank's wife, Olivia."

"Nice to meet you."

"You too."

Erin and Jason sat down on the sofa, while Hank sat in the chair closest to Olivia.

"I have a question for the two of you?"

"What?"

"Are you ever planning on finding out if you're father and daughter?"

"I mean, I'd like to but it wouldn't change how I feel about him."

"I feel the same way. I'm surprised Bunny made peace with all of us before her death. She did say there was a possibility that I am your father. A part of me thinks she was trying to change. They wouldn't allow Intelligence to investigate it because we all knew her. Narcotics and Major Crimes was doing it but no one will let us see the report. I've tried getting it and so has Jay. You may be able to get it because you're the next of kin. It leads me to believe that something is being covered up. We should have done our own investigation."

"I would have preferred Intelligence did it.

"So, what's goin' on?"

"I'm not exactly sure how to bring this up. I decided to investigate Elliot Stabler on my own, since I don't trust the guy and I am actually glad I did."

"Spit it out, Erin!"

"From what I could dig up, it seems that he had his wife killed but didn't cover his tracks very well. It also appears that he's somehow working with Deputy Superintendent Miller. I haven't quite figured out what they are up to but her number comes up quite a bit on his cell phone log."

"Sure, he probably had Kathy killed, so he could act like the grieving widower to get sympathy and comfort from me. All he wants is to get me into bed. He doesn't love anyone but himself. Yesterday, we went to Portillo's for lunch and I was on the phone with Fin when we got there, so Hank went in with Noah to get the food. By the time I came in, Deputy Superintendent Miller was sitting with him and was touching his hand. Hank went into the washroom to check on Noah and I told her to stay the hell away from my husband."

"She told me she found me attractive and wanted to be with me. The entire conversation made me uncomfortable. You know how long it took me to realize I had feelings for Olivia."

"Yes, I know. You're not the type of guy who would betray the woman he loves."

"I'm not. Olivia and Noah are everything to me."

"I know that. I just want you both to be careful. I don't want to lose either of you."

The 4 of them talked for a while and then Erin and Jason left. Hank invited them for dinner, which they accepted. The rest of the Intelligence Unit had decided to meet somewhere for dinner, since they were planning a party for Hank. Elliot and Sam met at Molly's for drinks. Matt and Kelly were the only ones there from 51 besides Stella and Chris.

"Ok, so what's the plan?"

"Frame him for something and have him arrested. Liv gets pissed off at him and turns to me for comfort. You tell him that you will have the charges dropped if he sleeps with you."

"That is a terrible idea!"

"As long as he's out of my way, I don't care."

"You're only in this for yourself. I want him to get me pregnant."

"What the hell for? You're insane, you know that?"

"Not any more insane than you are."

"Why would you want that Psycho to father your kid? Although I should have put a baby in Liv years ago. I would have left Kathy for her in a heartbeat. I'm not sorry I had her killed nor would I be sorry if I had Voight killed."

"Then why didn't you put a baby in her?"

"I just didn't. I didn't realize how bad I wanted her again until I came back to New York. If I had said goodbye to her and heard her voice, I wouldn't have wanted to leave. You don't like my idea, you could get him to your office and come onto him. If he resists you, then file charges against him and say he tried something with you."

"I don't want him in jail."

"I do. I want him out of the picture, so Liv and I can finally be together. That can only happen in one of two ways: he's dead or in jail."

"That does me no good. Olivia was right about one thing. You will never be the man he is."

Sam threw her drink in Elliot's face and left. Elliot finished his and then he left as well.

"Did she not know we were here?"

"Someone needs to warn Voight and Olivia that they're being plotted against."

"I'll go."

"Matt, are you sure?"

"Yeah."

"I'll go with you."

"Ok."

Kelly gave Stella a kiss and then he left with Matt. They headed over to Hank's. When they arrived, they got out of Matt's truck and went to ring the doorbell. Erin answered it.

"Hey, guys,"

"Hey, Erin. How's it goin'?"

"Not too bad. I hear you and Stella are engaged."

"We are."

"Congratulations!"

"Thanks. She just recently passed her Lieutenant's exam too but right now, there's nowhere to put her. She's considering going to another house but she loves the 51 family."

"That makes sense."

"She's helps me out on Truck quite a bit though, so I'm ok with her making decisions if I'm off for any reason."

"Which she appreciates."

"Come on in."

"Thanks."

Matt and Kelly came in and everyone but Noah was in the living room. Erin introduced them to Jason.

"Casey, Severide, what's goin' on?"

"We overheard a conversation at Molly's that we wanted to warn you about."

"Ok."

Matt and Kelly told them everything they had heard.

"You have got to be kidding me? This is worse than I thought. She wants Hank to father her child even after I told her to stay away from him? Elliot Stabler wants Hank out of the way, either dead or in jail, so he can have me all to himself."

"Too bad we can't get her office bugged."

"I'm sure we can. We just need to be able to get in there without her knowing about it.

"That could actually explain why she wouldn't allow Intelligence to investigate Bunny's death because she wants to blame me for it. I just have that feeling. She won't be getting a kid from me, since I can't."

"That's right but I'm sure she'll ask for proof of that."

"No doubt."

"Hank, how is your relationship with Meredith Olinsky lately?"

"Better. She forgave me for what happened to Al because she knows he would have done what he did for anyone. You don't think Sam or even Stabler would try to get Meredith to turn against me, do you?"

"That is exactly what I am thinking. We have to be prepared for anything at this point. Stabler seems to think that if you're accused of something then that'll turn Liv against you and she'll run straight to him. We can almost get Stabler for murder. Technically he did confess to the Police that he had his wife killed but she probably wouldn't have him arrested."

"I can give Hank an alibi the night Bunny was found dead. He was with us in New York."

"Right. If that even comes up. Even if he had killed her, I wouldn't blame him. She could be a terrible person but she really tried cleaning up her act."

"She told us that she was planning to go back to Vegas and see if she could get a job at one of the Casinos. To me, that doesn't sound like someone who was planning to overdose. Just like Simon. Yet, didn't they find her burned up?"

"We can confirm that. We got a call for a fire at the bar and we found her during our search of the building. We recognized her and contacted Intelligence immediately. We figured Voight or Halstead would know how to get a hold of you. Whoever did it was trying to cover their tracks obviously."

"That whole thing reminds me of Ellie Porter's death. Ellie was Noah's biological mother. She had tried to clean up her life for Noah and she was planning to testify in a sex trafficking case but was found dead. She had been gang raped and burned."

"I think I'm going open my own investigation into Bunny's death because I think something has been covered up. Did OFI investigate it?"

"They were supposed to. Casey and I looked around later on and we found a gasoline can in the dumpster out back. We told that to Halstead but then he informed us that Intelligence was not working on the case."

"It's probably because someone wanted a sloppy investigation."

The doorbell rang again and this time Olivia went to answer it. It was Meredith.

"Meredith."

"Hey, Olivia. Is Hank here?"

"Yeah. Come on in."

"Thanks."

Meredith came in and then Olivia took her into the living room.

"Hey, Meredith."

"Hey. Listen, I thought you'd like to know that Samantha Miller stopped over to see me and was asking me if I wanted to file charges against you for what happened to Alvin. I said no. I never should have gotten as upset as I did with you. I know that Alvin would have done anything to protect you."

"I didn't want him to do what he did. I wanted to turn myself in but he told me to think about Olivia and Noah. I should have listened to Erin in the first place and thought about Daniel."

"I was the one that asked him to help me, so if you're mad at anyone for what happened, it should be me.

They ended up telling Meredith what was going on.

"That's terrible. If there is anything I can do, let me know."

"We will. Thanks."

Meredith left and headed home.

"We're gonna go. If you need us for anything, call."

"Yeah, we will. Thanks."

Kelly and Matt left and headed back to Molly's. Olivia went to check on Noah and told him it was time for bed. He got ready for bed and then he went downstairs to say goodnight to everyone. He hugged both Erin and Olivia, while Hank took him up to tuck him in.

"How much does Noah know?"

"I try not talking to him about my job if I can help it. Somethings I can't avoid though."

"That makes sense. When I was looking into Samantha, it said she was with the Atlanta PD prior to Chicago. Does Amanda know her?"

"Hank asked her but she said she didn't."

"They weren't too cooperative when I called."

"That's not surprising. They like to sweep things under the rug. Like all Departments, they'll protect the Brass over those of us that put our lives on the line day in and day out."

"Don't I know it?"

"I still don't understand why they would have brought Elliot back to the NYPD."

"He wanted to make it look like he was concerned about who killed his wife but in reality, he's there to be closer to you."

"Yeah, I guess."

"He'll get what he has coming to him. I won't let anything happen to you. You have my word on that."

"You sound so much like Hank."

"That's because I learned from the best."

Hank came back downstairs, sat next to Olivia, put his arm around her and kissed her cheek.

"Is Noah asleep?"

"Just about."

"Lucy will be here in the morning. I told her what was going on just so she's aware of the situation. I'm almost thinking I need to let Fin and Rollins in on the situation and yours should know too."

"Yeah, we should talk to both squads about this."

The doorbell rang again, so Hank went to answer it. It was the squad and Trudy.

"Hey."

"Hey. We were talking to Severide and Casey and they told us something was going on. Anything we can do?"

"Come on in."

Everyone came in and went into the living room.

"Hey, Erin."

"Hey, Kim."

Erin got up and hugged everyone including Hailey and Jay and introduced everyone to Jason. Then they told them everything.

"Damn! So now we have to keep an eye on the Deputy Superintendent?"

"It would seem so. She went to Meredith and asked if she wanted to file charges against me for what happened to Al. Meredith told me that."

"That was Al though. You didn't ask him to do it."

"I had thought about turning myself in but Al told me that I had Olivia and Noah to think about."

"Like I told Meredith, what happened with Al was all on me. I was the one that asked him to help. You know that I would to anything to protect you, which is why I'm here now. You, Liv, Noah, Olive and Daniel are the only family I have. If it had been up to me, you guys would have investigated Bunny's death because then I know it would have been done right."

"I know that you would do anything to protect me. I just have a bad feeling this so-called investigation into Bunny's death will come back and say I did something."

"You weren't even here."

"I know but they have ways of screwing things up. Look at what happened with Jin."

"We're all in this together."

"Thanks. I appreciate that."

"I just want Elliot off the streets and out of my life."

"He will be soon."

"I hope so but I have a feeling if he knows you're on to him, he'll leave the country."

"No doubt. I have a feeling he thinks no one knows what he did. Fortunately, the FBI can dig deeper than the Police can."

"Can't Deputy Superintendent Miller's office be bugged?"

"We're working on that. We'll get both of them. We may need to bug Hank's office and Liv's office as well."

"I'm fine with that."

"I am too."

Then Hank's phone rang. It was about a case. Hank kissed Olivia and then the entire squad left to go to the scene. Erin and Jason left and headed back to their hotel. Trudy decided to stay with Olivia until Hank got back.

"I'm scared, Trudy. I'm scared for me, I'm scared for Noah and I'm scared for Hank. I can't lose either of them."

"I understand that. Hank can be a little rough around the edges sometimes but he means well and he has always been one of the most loyal people I have ever met. This is the happiest he has been since before he lost Camille. Honestly, I don't trust any of the higher ups and that includes most of the Commanders we've had. I didn't trust Kate Brennan, who was the Deputy Superintendent that Miller replaced."

"She was the one that killed Kelton, right?"

"Yeah."

"I don't trust the Brass much myself. A part of me wishes Ed was still around and with IAB. Had he been, I seriously doubt he would have allowed Elliot to come back to the NYPD."

"He still probably would have found away, especially since he had his wife killed."

"Now he's trying to ruin my marriage and so is that Miller woman."

"Hank has always been about loyalty. He's done some stuff he isn't proud of though."

"Yeah, I know he has. I asked him and Erin if they were going to take a paternity test to find out once and for all if he is her father. They both said it really doesn't matter because it wouldn't change how they felt about each other. Bunny made a comment before she died that he more than likely was her father."

Olivia and Trudy talked for a while and then several hours later, Hank came home, so Trudy left to head home. He locked up and then he and Olivia went to get ready for bed. They ended up making love before they fell asleep in each other's arms.

The next day, Olivia called Fin and Amanda to tell them what was going on. Fin told her he never trusted Stabler but promised that he'd have her back just as he always had. Amanda did too and they both promised to look out for Lucy and Noah until she was back in New York.

A few hours later, Lucy arrived in Chicago. She came to Hank's to get Noah and then they went back to the airport as soon as Hank and Olivia said goodbye to Noah. As soon as the cab left for the airport, Erin and Jason arrived at Hank's.

"Hey."

"Hey. You just missed Lucy and Noah."

"Oh, well. I'll see him when I'm back in New York. Can we get access to your office?"

"Yeah, sure."

"I told Fin and Rollins what was going on and if the FBI needed in my office, I already knew about it."

"Ok."

Erin made a call and then she, Hank, Olivia and Jason headed over to the District. When they got there, there were others from the FBI there as well. Erin introduced them to Hank and Olivia before they went inside and went upstairs. The FBI did what they had to do and then they left.

"That was quick."

"We were able to get Miller's office bugged as well. Apparently I still have people at Headquarters that like me and don't like her, so we were able to get access to her office. Her office phone was bugged as well but we know she mostly uses her cell phone for everything. We can get every call they both make."

"Good."

Everyone left and headed wherever they were going. As soon as something happened, they'd know about it.
