It terrifies me how close he was controlling the country while disguised as one of our senators. Luckily we took him down, right before Kang revealed himself as our true enemy. His ship is consuming everything in a strange light! What is that maniac up to this time?!

Act 2 Issue 1: Chrono World's Fierce Battle

Mysterious Timespace

Walking into the light usually results in death. For the Amazing Spider-Man, he found himself falling into the light and through a white void while screaming at the top of his lungs, "AAAAAAAAAARGH!" Modern Sonic also found himself in this white space after accidently running into the light that was consuming everything. He attempts to run in midair to anywhere else but here but it was no use, as he heard then spot Spidey come crashing on his head in a humorous fashion, causing both of them to now fall, "GAH! Ow! That's a funny way to greet someone you haven't seen in a while!"

"Nice to see you two, Webs, as we fall to NOWHERE!" Sonic quipped.

Both the Spider and Hedgehog join forces to scream as they continue to fall through this white void. That is, until a little world filled with beauty and mystery seamlessly materializes below them along with the white space gaining an eerie twilight blue makeover. Things get even stranger, as right before the screaming duo are about to crash in a nice lakeside palm tree resort, they were caught in a web net that wasn't spun by Spider-Man, but instead by a Spider-Woman from nearby wearing a costume based off Ben Reilly's Spider-Man and not his Scarlet Spider.

"Hey dad. Hey Sonic. Long time no see." The Spectacular Spider-Woman greets them with a young, casual female voice that is instantly recognizable.

"Mayday?" remarks a confused Peter, recognizing her as his teenage daughter from an alternate timeline, Mayday Parker. Both he and Sonic get off the web as the former say, "Okay, there's DEFINITELY some dimension distortin' going on here."

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Creeping Anxiety

"Is that's what's going on?!" asked a worried person that sounded awfully familiar to Sonic. The trio look up to see a small, burgundy Chihuahua with wings frantically blitzing the area looking extremely confused, scared, and goofy all at the same time while saying, "I never dealt with anything like this before! I'm more used to the planet being shattered every few millions of years! Oh man this is so scary that I'm getting a little hungry!"

Focusing on the creature's green-orbed necklace causes a shocked Sonic to gasp upon recognizing him as his old friend, "Chip?"

Having heard his name being called out instantly got Chip to stop in midair and turn to face the hedgehog with the biggest relieved smile anyone could ever make. "SONIC, you're okay!" He blitzes to hug his old friend, who warmly embraces him, before noticing the two Spiders beside them. "Gah! And with two scary spider-people!" Chip gasps, frightened by the Web-Warriors' costumes.

"'Scary' is Scarlet Spider. We two Spiders, however, are so cuddly." quips Peter, giving his daughter a shoulder hug.

"These two are fine, Chip. They're good friends." Sonic assures his little friend with a smile as he continues, "I'm just really glad to see you again. It's been years since we teamed-up to defeat Dark Gaia."

His friend's words confuse Chip as he remarks, "Years? Weren't we just together to run through Eggman's weird theme park to find the last Gaia Temple?" He asked, now confusing Sonic with his words.

"It's like I said. Some crazy dimension distortin' affecting time is going on. What happened? Where are we…?" Peter wondered.

Sonic walks around his surroundings for a moment, noting the nice grassy plain with hills and palm trees that help him recognize this Zone as, "Palmtree Panic. We're on Little Planet?" Sensing that something isn't right, a curious Sonic walks to the edge of the Zone to find out where exactly they are. And what he finds, stuns him to his very core, "Oh man…We are NOT over Never Lake."

The Spiders and Chip join the hedgehog's side to see what he discovered. And just like him, they couldn't believe what the view they are staring in awe at. Little Planet is floating among a mishmash of country fragments torn from the North Amerius continent of Mobiant Earth, and several other floating islands that feature locations from Planet Wisp, Chitauri Prime, Sweet Mountain, and even Knowhere, all contained inside a rather gorgeous blue void resembling that of a space nebula, giving this dimension an eerie alien vibe.

"Holy shit…" Mayday cursed, as she has nothing else to describe this warped dimension.

"Language! But…yeah. We're not in New Vale anymore." The stunned Peter quipped.

BGM-Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds OST-Ending Theme 4

"AH HA HAHAHAHA!" Out of nowhere, a massive hologram of the laughing Kang the Conqueror projects itself in the middle of this timespace rift to speak with Spidey's team, as well as the countless other innocents and heroes that he has captured for this mysterious dimension. Kang smiles, "PEOPLE OF THE 21ST CENTURY! WELCOME TO CHRONO WORLD! THOSE WHO BOW TO ME, DO MY BIDDING, RISE UP AGAINST THEIR PRESENT MASTERS AND TAKE CONTROL A PART OF THIS WORLD'S INHABITABLE SURFACE SHALL BE REWARDED. CEMENTING A PLACE IN THE NEW ORDER. BUT THOSE WHO FAIL ME WILL BE CAST ASIDE. AS FOR YOUR SO-CALLED HEROES, THEY SHALL FIND LIFE A CHALLENGE IN MY WORLD OF WORLDS!" He announced to the new inhabitants of his world before laughing maniacally.

"'Chrono World'?" Spider-Man questioned this new dimension they are in.

"'World of Worlds.' What do you suppose that means?" Spider-Woman asks her friends and father.

None of them have an immediate answer, mostly because they were distracted by crazy laughter coming from behind. The team were quick to avoid getting tackled by a mysterious Goblin that extremely resembles the original in every way except that his outfit is colored gold. This Gold Goblin is joined by a new ally, the Zeti Zazz of the Deadly Six, as they ride their iconic Gliders and Moon Mech respectively while flying away from the heroes.

"It'll have to wait. We've still got a Zeti and a Goblin to catch. Is he one of yours?" Sonic asks the Web-Warriors of the new Gold Goblin.

Peter shakes his head, "Nope."

"Never fought a Goblin that was dressed gold. Looking forward to denting this one's shine." quips Mayday, spinning out a webline to swing on before her father, right before Sonic and Chip race off to catch up with them on the pursuit in this new timespace rift.

Meanwhile in New Vale City…

Just like Little Planet, the city of New Vale has also been transported to this weird Chrono World, leaving its civilians in disarray. Crime has risen frighteningly in Midtown Manhattan because of Kang messing with the space-time continuum. Alien empires from across time and space, such as the Chitauri and Black Arms, are taking advantage of the chaos. As for Mobiant Earth's Mightiest Heroes, they are doing their best to quell the chaos while still trying to figure out what just happened.

After their Quinjet was caught in the sudden time rift, Captain America, Shadow, Agent 13, and Raven Branwen found themselves awakening in the middle of the floating city. Their jet crashed near Iron Man, lying unconscious after his armor was also disabled from the sudden warping in spacetime.

"Iron Man! Tony! Get up!" exclaimed Cap, rushing to his friend's side.

"…I'm gonna lay here for a while, Cap…I'm old now and I get tired." quips Stark as his armor reboots itself.

Cap smiles, "Still not as old as me." He jokes, grabbing his friend's hand and helping him up on his feet. "So where did you fly off to in a hurry before we were all sent to this weird place?" He asked, still curious about Tony's sudden departure from Washington D.C. after they defeated Red Skull.

"To check if the Sol Vessel is still secured. 'Course can't do that now while we're all trapped in this alien void." Tony replied, taking a glance of this mysterious spacetime that's filled with floating islands and aliens causing a ruckus on each of them.

'Iron Man! Captain America! Can any of you hear me?' Cia surprises the two legendary Avengers with her telepathic magic while making contact with them.

"This voice…Cia?! Have any idea what's going on? Where are you?" Tony asked.

'In Manhattan. All of us have been caught in the same Timespace Rift. I couldn't believe it, but Kang has expanded the foundation of his Chronopolis. He has warped a dimension where various timelines and dimensions intersect, allowing people from various eras and timelines to interact, as well as invade!' Cia briefed the heroes on what she understands of Chrono World.

"Reminds me of the Battlerealm." Tony compared that battle dimension to this battle dimension while he says, "We need to discuss this further in person. Let's all rendezvous at Avengers-."

Abruptly, the heroes' attention was turned to the nearby sight of a massive laser from the sky obliterating the United Nations Building. That surprise attack temporarily stopped all fighting throughout the island as everyone was left both horrified and confused on who just attacked.

"What was that?" Raven questioned stoically.

A horrified Tony answers, "Oh my god…That hit the United Nations Building!"

"All Avengers listening in! Rendezvous at the UN Building! I repeat, we need a rescue team on the double!" shouts Cap, leading his group towards ground zero of the surprise attack.

The Avengers. Secret Avengers. Chrono Avengers. Team RWBY and Ozpin. All of them arrived at the UN Building around the same time, just to find Damocles Base hovering over the ruins of the United Nations. Each hero couldn't believe their eyes. Most of them stared in horror at the headquarters of the organization that was created to maintain international peace and security, now in ruins thanks to the time-traveling conqueror.

"By the gods…Why would…" Cia is left too shocked to complete her sentence, failing to comprehend such a horrifying attack.

"Th-There might be survivors! Quickly, Avengers, let's move!" Iron Man ordered, ready to fly headfirst to hopefully find any survivor.

But before any of the heroes could do anything, a voice belonging to a certain conqueror stops them in their tracks with the simple words of, "That won't be necessary."

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Prison Planet

The heroes look to the sky to find the grinning murderer himself, Kang, sitting on his hovering Time Chair over the ruins. By his side is his lover, Ravonna, and his teammate, Stryfe, hovering via a hover pad and telekinesis respectively.

"Kang!" Classic Sonic noticed.

"Both him and Stryfe again!" Cable grunts with annoyance, glaring at the conqueror as well as his evil clone.

Kang looks down at his old enemies to calmly say, "Long time no see, Avengers. Glad you noticed my invitation to this meeting so I may officially declare war on you all. And Cia. Honestly, I was surprised when I heard you and your 'Chrono Avengers' were on Earth Prime fending off my forces. I thought I trapped you all in that boring Sanctuary of yours."

"I'm just full of surprises!" Cia sternly retorted.

"And I'm sure you were surprised to get caught in my timespace rift." Kang mockingly smiles at his time rival.

Cap steps forward to shout, "You're a monster, Kang! Why trap us here?! Why murder the good people in the UN?!"

"Save your outrage, Captain. For as you'll see…" By simply pressing a button on his chair, Kang causes multiple energy pods to rise from the ruins, with each pod containing UN politicians that weren't killed from the attack but instead protected by Kang before their HQ was obliterated. "I have killed no one. I have no interest in crushing you, not now, or you would already be dead. I have simply come to talk about your future. And only how I and my Chronos Corps can save you all!"

"'CHRONOS Corps?' Sounds to me you got jealous of us and put together your own band of time-traveling misfits." Boom Sonic mocks the conqueror for creating the anti-thesis of the Chrono Avengers.

Ignoring the hedgehog's attempt to make fun of him, Kang deactivates the force fields surrounding the U.N. Ambassadors, letting them free along with their staffs and the building's occupants, including Senator Stanley M. Lieber who also likes to go by the name, Stan Lee. "Excelsior…We're not dead." said a groggy Stan Lee while he's being helped up by Captain America.

"You were very lucky, Mr. Senator. Happy to see you and the rest of the congressmen are okay." Steve said.

"Same here. Now, what's this about our future in danger?" Lee asked.

"Allow me to brief you via my Omni-Screen, Mr. Senator." Kang projects a massive portal-looking window for everyone present to look at before he speaks, "As some of you are aware, I am a time-traveler from the 41st Century. Thanks to my technology, I have witnessed several dark futures that await humanity if nothing is done now. For instance…" His Omni-Screen displays people of a Mobiant Earth turning into zombie-like robots that overrun the planet, "A future that has been corrupted by a Metal Virus, turning the global populace into zombie robots. Or 'Zombots' the people of that era preferred to call them." His Screen seamlessly shifts to display a different Mobiant Earth covered in symbiotic darkness as Symbiotes ravage the planet, "Then there's this hopeless future, when the planet is invaded by symbiotes and their God. Their 'King in Black'. But, NOTHING compares to this terrible fate that was awakened by the Avengers and their little 'Infinity War'…" His Screen changes again, this time showing a mysterious pair of massive galaxies resembling eyes opening above the cosmic Heart of Infinity, "Your recent encounter with Thanos and the Infinity Stones have reawakened ancient cosmic forces that will soon come to Mobiant Earth and destroy it to restore the cosmic balance!"

"All I keep seeing are EXCUSES for you to conquer our world!" Boom Amy quipped.

"Bite your tongue, rodent!" An annoyed Ravonna retorted.

Kang calmly says to the heroes, "Be that as it may, you cannot deny that your future is grim in multiple ways, and your only hope is a man who has SEEN the myriad futures and have LONG begun the Project that'll distort time and control fate for a brighter future!"

"The Solaris Project…" Shadow came to the annoying realization that, "YOU are the mastermind behind it! All these recent attacks caused by the Syndicate…You were using them to further your research!"

"Which is going smoothly." Kang grinned evilly. "This Chrono World is a testament of the Project! An experimental site that'll help me reassemble the God Flame! Solaris is the legendary god that created spacetime. Once I gain access to his full power, I will create a new era! One FREE of dark futures and RIPE for conquest! Under my eternal rule, Mobiant Earth will evolve to the most powerful force in the universe, with mankind having a GLORIOUS destiny in the STARS!"

"Any world ruled by you is not a future I want to live in." Senator Stan Lee decides to step forward and speak up to their oppressor on the behalf of humanity, "Despite your tricks, you will NEVER succeed. The world will unite against you!"

"That would be near-impossible, considering I shattered the world into separate Realms in this Timespace Rift." Kang reveals this shocking info to his enemies, "And even if your world's governments DO unite against me, what about the people? What do the world's governments offer, after all, but uncertainty, and the possibility of a complete worldwide calamity? While, I, on the other hand, offer security and protection. An iron hand, yes, but a sure hand. A promise that the world's children will survive and become a glorious star-spanning empire!"

"Talk all you wish! This Rift will fight! And with the Avengers and the other heroes, we will find a way to drive you off and get back home!" Stan Lee declared.

"I look forward to the coming combat, sir. Very much. The Avengers versus the Chronos Corps. One of us will win this Time War. I expect you'll be busy for some time, so I will take my leave now with THIS." Kang mockingly reveals the Sol Vessel in his hand, utterly surprising Cia and her fellow Avengers that he is in possession of the sacred Vessel containing Iblis.

"The Sol Vessel?!" Cia retorts, before sternly turning to an embarrassed Iron Man, "How did he get it, Stark?! I THOUGHT you had it secured!"

"Can we discuss this over dinner where you're less angry?" Stark quips, which only serves to further infuriate the Time Guardian.

Kang laughs at their incompetence for failing to guard the Sol Vessel. He then announces, "Understand this!" to regrabs their attention, "Any attempt to strike at me, or my lovely wife, Ravonna Renslayer, as we depart, will result in IMMEDIATE reprisals from Damocles Base. And this time, there will be NO MERCY!"

With that declaration, both Kang and Ravonna leave for Damocles before it vanishes from this timespace. Stryfe stood behind for a moment, smiling with information that he wants to taunt his enemies with, "Is it just me, or are you heroes missing a bug and a rodent! I would start searching for them if I were you!" He said before vanishing ominously.

His words bother Cia to the point of scanning the area for any sign for that Bug and Rodent. She turns to Classic and Boom Sonic, then to 2099 and Ultimate Spider-Man as she pieces together that someone is missing from each group. "Wait…What happened to the Sonic and Spider-Man of the Modern Era? Weren't they also caught in the Timespace Rift?!" She asks her allies.

"Ohhhh no…" Spidey 2099 tiredly palms his forehead while saying, "Kang must have intentionally separated us from them to steal their Time Factor!"

"Time Factor?" A curious Wasp questioned.

"Well knowing those two the way I do, I am absolutely certain…" Ruby then tiredly sighs, "They already gotten themselves in trouble."

Little Planet, Alien Realm. Chrono World

BGM-Spider-Man Unlimited (Game) OST-Boss!

"Hold on! We just want some autographs!" Amazing Spidey quips, racing alongside his group through Collison Chaos Zone as they continue chasing down Zazz and the mysterious Gold Goblin. The crazy Zeti laughs while his Moon Mech shoot stars at the heroes, but they weren't enough to slow them down thanks to their Spider-Senses and Sonic Speed. Peter blinds Zazz with webbing, allowing Sonic to leap forward with Homing Attacks that eventually knock the Zeti off his mech.

"That's how it's done!" Modern Sonic smiles at their victory over Zazz.

"URGH! I don't believe it! YOU SHOULD'VE HELPED ME OUT, GOBLIN!" Zazz screams him out while falling to his defeat.

"Sorry, but my hands are full with bombs that need throwin'!" Gold Goblin laughs madly, just like any other Goblin while hurling pumpkin bombs at his foes. One knocks back Peter, while another knocks back both Sonic and Chip.

"You certainly talk crazy like any Osborn!" quips Mayday, being the only one able to dodge his pumpkin bombs. Goblin decides to be a little creative with this next move, throwing a bomb that explodes into electrified mechanical bats with razor-sharp edges that'll shred her before returning to him. Luckily for Mayday, she has a Spider-Sense and the spectacular reflexes to seamlessly dodges the bats as if she's reenacting a famous moment in a superhero movie. "Sorry, not my type! You can have them back!" She web-throws the bats right back at Gobby, stunning him for a midair Crawler Assault that quickly infuriates him before grabbing her by the throat.

"You're starting to get a little too close for comfort!" Goblin retorts at her face.

"Not as close as this!" quips Peter, as he and Sonic launch their finishing assault with a simultaneous Web-Strike and Homing Attack respectively. Their team attack was strong enough to free Mayday from Goblin's grasp as he's sent crashing down to wallow in his defeat.

"Yeah! Take THAT, Goblin! Haha! You three were awesome!" Chip expressed, happily congratulating his friend and new friends on a splendid victory.

"We sure are!" Sonic smiles, sharing a victorious high-five with his team.

BGM-Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 OST-Free Roam Action

"Graaaaagh!" Goblin growls, defeated but not down for the count as he stands back up to confront the most annoying enemies he has encountered ever since he was brought to Chrono World.

"All right, Gobby. You know the drill. Take off that mask and-Hey…Did you get a new outfit? Blowout sale at the bad guy longjohn emporium?" Peter mocks the alternate reality counterpart of his nemesis.

The annoyed Gold Goblin facepalms, obviously sick of Spider-Man's jokes as he remarks, "The worse part about this Timespace Rift is hearing the same TIRED jokes over and over. When we're done finding all the Chaos Emeralds and taking your Time Factor, we're going to SHUT YOUR MOUTH FOR GOOD!"

The smiling Sonic chuckles before quipping out, "Chaos Emeralds? What're you gonna do with Chaos Emeralds? You already painted yourself gold! And what's this about a 'Time Factor'?"

"Playtime is OVER, heroes! The Chronos Corps will make sure of it!" The ominous Goblin then leaves via a Kang Soldier flying down to pick him up. And while he leaves, he drops bombs powerful enough to blow the heroes off of Little Planet, much to his maniacal laughter as he flees from the scene.

Team Amazing found themselves crashing onto a planetary fragment of Xandar, home of the Nova Corps. But as the heroes get up to straighten their backs after the fall, they notice Xandar is under heavy assault by both the Kree and the Black Arms, with some assistance from the Kang Empire. Most of the Nova Corps are empowered by immense cosmic energy through their helmets, and it seems to be enough to fend off the invaders, for the time being.

"The Nova Corps? Fighting in a war against the Kree and black aliens that strangely remind me of Shadow, right after we fell off a little time planet after fighting a Gold Goblin and Zazz. This Chrono World is really somethin'." Peter casually summarizes their little adventure in Chrono World so far.

"Whoa. Aliens?" Chip stares at said aliens in amazement, having never encountered aliens before in his eternal life.

"Perfect. Could things get any weirder?" Mayday quipped.

'YOU! BLUE HEDGEHOG!' shouts a furious Kree Soldier from within his flying warship, descending behind the heroes alongside several other Kree Warships.

"I had to ask." Mayday quips again, this time more annoyed at herself for jinxing it.

'You are the hedgehog that destroyed our home planet Hala and killed the Supreme Intelligence! Ronan the Accuser wants you executed for your crimes against the Kree Empire!' The Kree Soldier exclaims, wanting to arrest Sonic for his indirect role in destroying Hala some time ago.

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Assault

One of the Kree Warships fire a blast from above that narrowly misses the heroes but still packed enough explosive force to blow them across the street screaming. Quickly, a frightened Sonic pulls off his Super Peel Out and speeds off alongside Chip flying and the Web Warriors web-swinging, dodging various spaceships blasts being fired in their direction.

"WHAT DID YOU DO?" Peter yells at the hedgehog while they keep dodging the Kree.

"I told you before! It was EGGMAN that blew up their planet for a stupid mirror!" Sonic loudly retorted.

"That guy really got to stop blowing up planets!" Chip shouts, recalling Eggman shattering Mobius into pieces just to resurrect Dark Gaia.

And it only gets worse for the heroes. Not only they're in the middle of running away from the Kree ships, but now their grounded soliders alongside Black Arm Warriors and Kang Soldiers are ahead trying to impede their path with various laser fire. The heroes narrowly dodge their attacks long enough to initiate a counterattack, starting with Spider-Man webbing their faces, then Spider-Woman knocking them down with stylish Web-Strikes, and finally Sonic charging through a blockade with a powerful Boost, clearing the way as they continue running away from the Kree ships.

'Sonic! Spider-Man!' And to their surprise, even moreso to Chip and Mayday as they haven't met her yet, Cia suddenly speaks to them through telepathy. 'I'm sure by now you've realized we have all been caught in this Timespace Rift created by Kang!'

"Wasn't hard to figure out!" Peter quipped.

Meanwhile at Avengers Tower…

All the Avengers teams returned to the Tower after their meeting with Kang. They hang around in the Briefing Room, watching Peter's team and their actions from a massive holographic screen. Cia continues to speak to them, "This is all part of his master plan to complete the Solaris Project! He already found Iblis, and now it seems he's after your Time Factor!"

'Iblis?! And why do we keep hearin' about us having a Time Factor-?' Sonic retorted before he was rudely interrupted by a spaceship blast that blankets the holo-screen with smoke.

"S-Sonic! Spider-Man!" Cia exclaimed, worried they might've been hit.

Back with Team Amazing…

Thankfully they dodged the blast in time and continue dodging some more while Mayday retorts, "We're fine, whoever's talking in my head! Now can you get someone to come and save us?!"

'Hulk and Scarlet Witch are near your position and should arrive shortly! Just keep running away from those ships!' Cia ordered.

And they do just that. Team Amazing keeps running from the Kree, not stopping or looking back they just keep trying to flee from their sensors. Some Nova Corpsmen notice they are in trouble and do their part delaying the Kree, even destroying some of their ships. Then a familiar furious, "RRAAAAAAAAGH!" was heard before a monstrous green goliath suddenly smashes a Kree ship out of the sky with a single punch. It was the Incredible Hulk coming to the rescue, unleashing his gamma rage on the Kree trying to kill his friends, "HULK SMASH STUPID BLUE ALIENS!"

Another alien blockade tries to impede the heroes' escape but they were immediately blasted away once Scarlet Witch shows up with her beautiful Chaos Magic. "We came as fast as we could! Glad you guys are alright!" Wanda said to her friends.

Sonic smiles, "Yeah! Nice to see you and Hulk again. So what's this 'bout a Time Factor?"

'It contains the lifeforce of the God Flame.' Cia began to explain, 'Right before Solaris and his reincarnation, the Time Eater, was destroyed in your previous battles, the element was released into their surroundings. You two were close to it, and it chose to hide itself in each of you.'

"Don't exactly understand, but it sounds like we need to get outta here before Kang takes it from us!" Sonic retorts, quickly grabbing Peter and May's arm before running at top speed with a Boost, with Wanda and Chip catching up while Hulk has fun trashing the Kree Ships.

Unbeknownst to the heroes, they were being watched from a rooftop by two mysterious beings that look dangerously familiar to two other legendary figures. One of them looks like Doctor Doom, but outfitted in futuristic silver-plated armor sporting a blue cloak and has glowing red eyes. The other figure appears to be Knuckles the Echidna but darker, eviler, sporting golden armor with black accents and a cape, as well as having a golden faceplate with a right eye that appears to be mechanical. These two are Doctor Doom 2099 and Enerjak respectively, two powerful beings from alternate timelines that were recruited to join Kang's Chronos Corps.

"Both Goblin and the Kree have failed this simple task. I'm getting quite impatient. Let us handle this." Doom 2099 said to his teammate, having grown tired of their Kree allies failing to defeat the heroes.

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Threat from Beyond

The two Chronos Corpsmen levitate to the skies, getting a good look of their enemies retreating before turning to Hulk nearly destroying a Kree Ship. They suddenly vanish, only to quickly reappear with war cries as they fly towards Hulk. Enerjak delivers a brutal uppercut that surprises Hulk before both he and Doom unleash a combined energy blast that sends Hulk crashing onto his friends, causing all of the heroes to explosively crash into a building that collapses atop of them.

"Sonic the Hedgehog will be my prey!" Enerjak grinned maliciously.

"Fine, Enerjak. Doom will have fun capturing the Bug's Time Factor." Doom 2099 replied.

Then, Hulk punches himself and his friends free out of the rubble. As they struggle to get to their feet, they stare at the new enemies that surprised them. "Is that…Doom?" Scarlet Witch questioned.

An annoyed Peter grunts while recognizing that Doom from a recent adventure, "It's the one from the future again."

"And is that Knuckles with him? He looks just like he did when the Black Vortex corrupted him. This'll be trouble." Sonic snarled.

The two tyrants charge in for another attack, quickly prompting the heroes to put their guard up. But suddenly, a burst of energy bombards the villains, leaving them vulnerable for a follow-up shield throw from a vibranium shield that awfully resembles Captain America's. Doom tries to look for their mysterious assailant, only to find a Grim Reaper-like figure shrouded in darkness smacking both him and Enerjak to the ground with their scythe, causing an explosion that covers the impact with smoke.

Confused by their mysterious save, the Avengers look at the smoke to notice a silhouette resembling a young adult male wielding a scythe that transforms into a sword that is sheathed behind his back. The man casually walks out of the smoke, revealing to be wearing a vibrant red sleeved jacket, has white spiky hair and has heterochromic eyes, with his left eye being green and his right being red.

"You all okay?" The mysterious man asked the heroes.

"Uh, yeah. Thanks for the save. But uh, who are you? The crimson edgy Grim Reaper?" Spidey asked, wanting to know the identity of their savior.

"Close enough. The name's Ragna. Ragna the Bloodedge." He introduces himself as Ragna, the Crimson Grim Reaper possessing an unimaginable power from an unknown dimension.

"You don't look like someone from our dimension." Scarlet Witch notes, sensing that Ragna is from a different universe.

"Same could be said for everyone else in this Chrono World. Including us."

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Standing Together

That familiar voice captured the attention of the Avengers as they turn to the source, which happens to be fellow Avenger Sam Wilson, surprisingly wearing a costume similar to Captain America's, even wielding the legendary shield of the Living Legend. And both he and Ragna are not alone to meet the Avengers. There's also the Human Rocket, Richard Rider, aka Nova Prime. The Ace Attorney and his Spirit Medium assistant, Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey. And the Legendary Jumpman himself, Mario.

"Sam?!" Wanda exclaims in utter shock from seeing him as Captain America from his future timeline.

"When did you become Captain America?!" Spider-Man asked.

Spidey doesn't receive an answer from the All-New Captain America. Instead, he receives a friendly wave from Maya as she smilingly approaches the group with, "Spider-Man! Hulk! It's so awesome seeing you again!"

Hulk smiles at the young Spirit Medium, recalling both she and Phoenix helping the Avengers against Galactus once upon a time for the fate of two worlds. "You too, Spirit Girl. But what are you and Suit Man doing here? This place is dangerous for weaklings." He asked.

Phoenix sheepishly rubs the back of his head while saying, "We know, but we didn't come here by choice."

"Like you guys, we were all teleported to this messed-up Phantom Field thanks to that bastard Kang abusing a phenomena intervention." Ragna said.

"Phantom Field? That's a funny name to call this Special Zone. And the heck's a 'phenomena intervention'?" Sonic quips with a shrug.

"He's talking about the warping in spacetime." Sam clarified. "And he's right about this place being messed-up. So many people and places from across space and time are stuck here, thanks to Kang wanting to conquer them all in one fell swoop."

"Reminds me of the time a stupid System machine tried to conquer multiple worlds with some stupid tag-team tournament." Ragna recalled.

"That sounded fun." Spidey quipped.

"Hell it wasn't!" Ragna angrily retorts at the quipster.

"You don't look like someone that likes having fun." Peter jokes back.

"Kang already conquered Xandar before sending the planet and the Nova Corps here. If we're going to beat him and get everyone home, we all need to join forces." Nova proclaims to get everyone back on topic.

"Oh yeah!" Mario nodded in agreement.

"I don't mind assembling another Alliance." Peter smiles behind his mask, liking the idea of forming a Unified Army against Kang.

BGM End

Suddenly, the ground quakes as two powerful forces re-emerge in front of the heroes in an explosive fashion. It's Doom 2099 and Enerjak, fully recovered while enveloped in a mystic blue and green aura respectively. "Now…Who are the fools that dared to ambush Doom?" Doom sternly asks his enemies.

"One of them is this Reaper right here." Spider-Man jokingly points his thumb at Ragna.

"We've only just met and I already don't like you." Ragna scowls at the annoying webhead.

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Bring on the Bad Guys

"As King of Latveria, I will thoroughly destroy all who make a mockery of me!" exclaims Doom, working alongside Enerjak to bombard the heroes with devastating energy blasts. All of the heroes swiftly dodge their attacks, with the exception of Wright, Maya, and Chip humorously running away from the action for their dear life since the lawyers aren't fighters and Chip being a scaredy cat.

Seamlessly while in midair, Sonic taps into cosmic energy stored within him following his space adventure involving the Black Vortex. His body envelops itself with a blue electrical aura while his eyes turn blue with electricity. Now in his Lightning Mode, Sonic exclaims, "Spidey! Lightning Fastball!"

Following Sonic's example, Spider-Man taps into his Hyper-Sense Semblance and envelops himself in a flowing bluish-red aura that increases his abilities and allows him to seamlessly dodge most attacks with pure instinct. The hedgehog curls up into a ball while Spidey forms a web hammer, which he quickly uses to send Sonic spinballing like a destructive lightning bolt towards the Chronos Corpsmen.

Both villains stood stun by the team attack right before they were hit. The impact caused a massive explosion that separates the villains, allowing Sam to fly towards the now-alone Doom and relentlessly shoot him with his dual-pistols. "Good job separating them! Now pick a baddie and focus on them!" Sam orders his team.

The bullets bounce off Doom's armor as he pretends to be bothered by them while secretly firing multiple missiles at the sky from behind and eventually hit Sam, knocking him out of the sky. Suddenly, Doom is caught from above by Spidey's Ultimate Web Throw as the webslinger exclaims, "The Wheel of Spidey!" while swinging him around in several overhead circles before hurling him at Spider-Woman, right as she creates her own web hammer.

"BATTER UP!" Mayday swings at the giant web ball with the amazing strength of an arachnid, smacking him across the sky towards Nova for a follow-up blast towards Ragna.

"CARNAGE SCISSORS!" As Ragna delivers a dashing strike with his sword that cuts Doom free of the webbing, he sends a crushing wave of dark energy that blows him backwards. The Grim Reaper ain't done yet. He quickly dashes at Doom and grabs him by the throat with his right arm, then mysteriously and slowly absorbs his soul.

"HRGH! Interesting magic…" Doom grunts, struggling for a bit before unleashing a devastating burst of magical energy that frees himself while knocking back Ragna. Swiftly he summons two Doombots by his side, as all three channel incredible energy cupped within their hands before Doom shouts, "SPHERE FLAME!" and they all blast Ragna with terrifying power that forces him to kneel before the futuristic monarch. "I sense that your right arm is possessed by an unknown magic that allows one to destroy souls." Doom knows of Ragna's mysterious Azure Grimoire as he continues, "Unfortunately for you, Doom's soul is too powerful to be consumed. Nevertheless, you will allow me to take the source of your power for my own purpose…or you will die!"

As Doom and his Doombots threaten to destroy Ragna, Sam flies in with the save as he throws his shield at the Doombots, watching it ricochet off their heads as it destroys them before hitting Doom's face. Sam catches his shield, then spreads his wings for a Hyper Charging Star that knocks the monarch away from him and a recovering Ragna.

"Like hell he'll show you anything! You okay, Ragna?" Sam asked.

"Yeah…Thanks for the save." Ragna grinned.

"No problem." Sam retorted.

Meanwhile, Enerjak seems to be enjoying himself with the other group of heroes that he's battling against. The demi-god seamlessly dodges each of Hulk's slow but devastating punches before being caught off-guard by a divekick to the back from Mario. "GAMMA QUAKE!" Hulk roars, smashing the non-fazed Enerjak to the ground with incredible power that devastates the surrounding area, nearly blowing away a terrified Wright if he wasn't caught by Maya and Chip.

More amused than injured by that devastating attack, Enerjak easily recovers as he uppercuts Hulk right in the gut. "Incredible…That kinda hurt. From the timeline that I conquered, no one possessed strength like yours." He grabs Hulk with telekinesis before throwing him away, then uses telekinesis on a large building to lift and crush Hulk with so he wouldn't be an issue for a while.

Mario jumps forward to attack but was easily countered by Enerjak's overwhelming power. Again, Enerjak is caught off-guard, this time by Lightning Sonic barraging him with Light Speed Attacks from all sides before kicking him back a bit. "And you…The Sonic that I defeated in my world didn't possess such cosmic power. Hope it'll keep me entertained longer than your Super Form!" Enerjak boast of his accomplishments from his timeline.

Sonic cockily grins, "Heh. You have no idea what you're up against, Knucklehead."

"Please, just call me Enerjak." Enerjak politely quipped.

The dark demigod charges at Lightning Sonic with a powerful punch that is impressively blocked before he is kicked high to the sky. Sonic rockets at him with a Spin Dash, only to be caught and viciously thrown down to the ground before Enerjak shouts, "THUNDER ARROW!" to unleash a powerful burst of raw chaos energy bolts that electrocutes Sonic out of his Lightning Mode.

Then out of nowhere, Enerjak is hit by a fan of magical hex bolts that surprisingly hurt him more than Hulk's attacks. "URGH! This power…" He turns to his assailant, who happens to be Scarlet Witch confronting him in midair. "I see…You too are linked to the Chaos Force, in ways that are unknown to me. Strange. Let's test the limits of your magic, shall we?" He then paralyzes Wanda with his power before conjuring up a massive energy sphere. With a smile, he hurls the sphere at Wanda and watch it consume her whole before it crashes to the ground, exploding with enough force to deeply crater the area.

Enerjak chuckles to himself, believing to have killed Wanda with that attack. But then, the unthinkable appears. It's Scarlet Witch, emerging from the smoke completely unscathed while enveloped in an empowered red aura. "What?! She absorbed my chaos energy!?" A surprised Enerjak exclaimed.

Overflowing with power absorbed from Enerjak, Scarlet Witch opens her glowing red eyes as she stuns him with a series of magic energy bursts that home in on him before unleashing a blast of reality-shattering chaos energy that utterly demolishes Enerjak, forcing him to scream in sheer pain before he collapses to the ground to growl angrily at his new powerful rival.

"It was a mistake challenging ME with chaos! I have LONG mastered the arts alongside other spells, for I can easily tell you're just a spirit inhabiting Knuckles's soul. You're no Chthon, Enerjak!" Wanda boasted her mastery over Chaos Magic to the Chaos Demigod.

"You were blessed with Chaos energy from birth. I see now…But, I have been the ultimate chaos for ages. How can a mere mortal possess an edge over my power?" Enerjak scowled. He struggles to stand, taking a moment to stare at Wanda, sensing her out for her greatest strengths and weaknesses. He senses out that strength. A unique strength that's wrapping her constantly and difficult to decipher. But after another moment of scanning her, Enerjak seems to have discovered the secret behind her strength, "Wait…Could it be? Yes, that would explain it. I thought your kind was a myth until today. You're a Nexus Being, aren't you?"

"Nexus Being? What are you talking about?" A confused Wanda responded, clearly never hearing about Nexus Beings until today.

"A keystone of the universe. No wonder your power is so great. DOOM!" Enerjak shouts for his ally, who is still fighting Sam's group of heroes. "It would seem we are both having trouble ridding of these nuisances! Let's kick things up a notch and link to the System!" He said, suggesting to use some secret technique that'll help them defeat the heroes for good.

"System?" A confused Ragna remarks while hoping he's not talking about another System that he despised and destroyed.

Doom grunts, "Fine by me." while agreeing to go along with Enerjak's plan.

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Final Battle

The eyes of both villains suddenly glow blue as their bodies wrap themselves with a mysterious dark aura that's increasing their strength dramatically. Now, the empowered Dark Doom and Dark Enerjak confront their enemies together, as they prepare for an even tougher fight.

Hiding at the sidelines, Wright's little group watch the villains confront their friends with their new terrifying power. "Nick…I have a bad feeling about their new look!" said a worried Maya.

"They've been powered up by some weird dark energy that reminds me of Dark Gaia. And…someone else…" Chip comments, getting the haunting feeling he recognizes this corrupted power from someone other than Dark Gaia.

But while those two are focused on the fight, Wright caught the glimpse of someone darkly mysterious watching the fight unfold from afar and from the beginning. They appear to be a hedgehog, and that hedgehog happens to be the dark devil himself, Mephiles the Dark. He stands on a rooftop, stoic and ominous as he stares at the glorious fight his enemies and allies in the Chronos Corps are putting on. "So, go on and fight. Your fight will become the power of my plan." Mephiles said cryptically.

Charging forward with frightening battle cries, both Dark Doom and Dark Enerjak fire off their Photon Array and Thunder Arrow respectively with such deadly speed and devastating power that the heroes had no choice but to block their strikes, with most of them wincing in pain from the impact. "TIME BREAK!" shouts Dark Enerjak, using his new power to temporarily slow down Spider-Man, Ragna, Sam, and Nova before blitzing each of them away with single, overwhelming punches.

"YOU HAVE NO HOPE!" Dark Doom immobilizes Sonic, Scarlet Witch, Mario, Hulk, and Spider-Woman with each a multi-projectile trap. The 2099 Doctor laughs maniacally before blowing them away with a massive blast of conjured lightning that painfully frees them of his trap, only for Wanda to immediately retaliate with chaos blasts that surprisingly stun both empowered villains for a moment.

"Mamma mia…They are-a-strong." Mario says while feeling dizzy from surviving their dark assault.

"You could say that again." Nova grunts while taking an offensive stance.

"Damn it…what unbelievable power! What happened to them?" Sam wondered.

"They looked to have been empowered by the Dark Aura." Wanda claimed.

"Dark Aura?" Sam turns to her for clarification.

"Earlier, Red Skull sent a few friends of ours to attack the Avengers. He was controlling them through an ancient magical force that also increased their power immensely. I wonder…Could this corruption be the power of Solaris?" Wanda explained, sternly wondering if the Dark Aura is related to Solaris.

Dark Enerjak laughs maliciously, "This time power is quite something…"

"It's useless to resist us any further. Give up, and we will spare your worthless lives." Dark Doom offers the heroes the choice to surrender.

"Acting cocky simply 'cause you got a tiny boost in power. Not NEARLY enough to scare us to surrender!" Ragna retorted.

In response, Doom charges up energy in his palm and threatens to attack while coldly saying, "It's your funeral."

BGM End

Still standing at his secluded rooftop, Mephiles comments on the fight so far. "The Solaris Master System…Linking to it has allowed those two to tap into a portion of Solaris's power, and will only develop as we draw closer to his resurrection. Quite the machine you built, Kang. It's making this battle a bit more interesting to study. Just keep the fighting going." He commented, ominously narrowing his eyes at the battle to better study their fight for a mysterious reason.

Back to the fight, Dark Doom still threatens to kill the heroes with an energy blast. He notes that neither of them are relenting. Instead, they are inspired by All-New Cap saying, "Stay sharp!" as he puts his guard up with his shield, prompting the others to do the same.

BGM-Sonic Forces OST-Quickening of Evil

With a scoff, Doom is about to unleash his attack on them. But abruptly, he finds himself trapped in a virtual reality, throwing off his game. "What is this trickery?" He demanded.

His answer made a stunning appearance above him in the form of a masked jackal with a magenta ruby fused to his chest. Eerily, the jackal warps in front of Doom, who blasts him only for his blast to be easily deflected with a disrespectful slap. The jackal then attacks, hurtling the monarch into the sky to follow-up with a powerful energy blast to the chest that knocks him out of virtual reality with his Dark Aura broken.

BGM End

The heroes, Enerjak, and even Mephiles were surprised to see this jackal come out of nowhere and easily dispatch Doom 2099. "That's…Infinite? But how…" A shocked Sonic recognizes his old enemy seemingly back from the dead, Infinite, who once worked with Doctors Eggman and Octopus as their ultimate enforcer during the Superior Empire War until he met his demise by the Freedom Avengers.

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Big Bang Battle

"You ruined my fun. Why did you come risking your life to save these insects?" Dark Enerjak asks his newest adversary.

Infinite coldly stares at the corrupted echidna for a moment before retorting, "…It would be inconvenient for my cause." He said vaguely. "After I defeat you, they'll be next to destroy."

Enerjak smiles, "Really? Defeat me?" He charges his dark power before retorting, "I WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY!" The Chaos Demigod rocket towards the Ultimate Mercenary with a frantic barrage of punches that are surprisingly being evaded. Infinite decides to block a punch with a backhand before conjuring an energy cube that rams Enerjak across the sky until he shatters it and furiously retaliates with Thunder Arrows, only for Infinite to surround himself in a red aura before flying far away from the Arrows and Xandar itself while goading Enerjak to give chase so they could continue their intense fight.

"That guy went off somewhere! Just who was he?" A confused Ragna wonders, while Wright's little group run to reunite with their friends as it looks like the battle is over.

"Infinite was supposed to be dead, but it looks like he was revived through this Timespace Rift. But why come and help us…?" Spider-Man questioned, wondering why one of their most powerful and hated enemies would come back to life just to save their lives.

BGM End

"Some uninvited guest threw themselves into the mix." said Mephiles, hiding his anger about Infinite's mysterious appearance as he lowers himself to personally speak with the heroes.

BGM-Mega Man ZX Tunes OST-Fate - Deep-Seated Grudge

"Mephiles!?" Sonic retorts in surprise from seeing Mephiles again after a long while since their last battle.

While Maya gasp in surprise and worry, Wright stands brave and tall exclaiming, "Thought I saw someone sightseeing from the distance! That was you!" before dramatically pointing his finger at the devil hedgehog.

"If you had any complaints, I would've been glad to come down." Mephiles quips stoically.

Chip gives a good look at Mephiles as he couldn't shake the feeling he knows him from somewhere. As Mephiles chuckles eerily, Chip gasp with shock as he slowly realizes who he is. "Is that you…Solaris?"

"Chip? You know him?" A shocked Sonic retorted.

"It's been eons, Light Gaia. How are you enjoying the eternal struggle I put you and Dark Gaia at odds?" Mephiles mocks the Light God, revealing that Solaris is responsible for fating the Gaias to be at war with each other for all of time until the end of time.

"Not at all!" Chip retorts through his scowl at the demon.

"You are the mind of Solaris taken physical form. What do you want from us?" Scarlet Witch ask him.

Mephiles chuckles evilly before shrugging, "This timespace really suits war. I know the Chronoan and the Avengers are listening in. I'd like all of you to keep fighting as well."

"Are you working with Kang as well?" Sam sternly asked.

"Who knows…" Mephiles answered, being cryptic as he immediately takes his leave with an ominous vanishing act, but not before exchanging one last look with Scarlet Witch.

BGM End

"Man…" says an exhausted Spider-Man as he sits on the ground, "These 'What is what?' things which I don't get just keep coming."

"Hold it together, dad!" Mayday said, embarrassed from seeing him looking pathetic while everyone else is standing tall.

"Kid, it's been a long day! You weren't there when that devil was framing me for things I didn't do! I need a vacation!" Spidey quipped.

"That guy…Mephiles. Reminds me so much of this jerk I know. Yuki Terumi. Both seem to relish in destruction. And both have powers that are out of this world." Ragna stoically says, sensing that Mephiles is a lot more powerful than any of them could imagine.

"Eh, we helped beat a giant space god before. That guy doesn't look like trouble." A smiling Maya quipped.

"Don't remember you and Suit Man helping that much against Galactus." Hulk scoffed.

"I helped more than Nick!" Maya retorted.

"That's because I didn't want to die. I rather be killed by a whip than space gods that put two worlds in jeopardy." Wright nervously sweatdrops.

"Where ARE the Avengers?" All-New Cap asks his team. "We need to rendezvous with them if we want to form a strategy against Kang and Mephiles."

"They should be back in the city. Going to be a little tricky navigating through this Rift." Wanda said.

Suddenly, the sound of a jet landing caught the heroes' eyes to a nearby Quinjet. Its hatch open, revealing former SHIELD Director Nick Fury here to pick them up. "Looks like you all could use a lift to Avengers Tower!" He shouted.

"Fury! Never thought I'd be so happy to see that one eye of yours!" Spider-Man exclaims while springing back to his feet.

"You guys go on ahead." Nova said, "I need to stay here and help the Nova Corps drive off the Kree and Black Arms, but we'll see each other soon. Promise!"

Sonic gives the cosmic defender the thumbs-up of good luck, "Okay, Nova! You take care of yourself!" And with that, the heroes leave Nova behind as they board the Quinjet. With Fury as their pilot, they fly off Xandar to reunite with the Avengers back at New Vale City to begin constructing a counterattack against Kang and find a way to free everyone from his sick Chrono World.

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-Extras

KFX Here: Sweet lord, what a way to start off the second Act of this story, huh. But that's right, folks! Some characters from the Capcom side of Marvel vs. Capcom, Super Smash Bros. and Blazblue Cross Tag Battle will have guest appearances in this massive crossover story to represent the "Alternate Dimensions" side of the new Chrono World. And Infinite's back! That's a surprise which I will explain later! And yes, I will confirm that Team RWBY DID experience the events of Blazblue Cross Tag Battle some time ago in this series. Still, this story will be focused on Modern Sonic, Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch and a few others so none of you will be lost and such.

HybridKing18: Possibly, but that doesn't mean those characters will appear in this story.
