Act 2 Issue 18: Surprise Visit

Time Abyss

Days. Weeks. Months. Who knows how much time has passed for those trapped inside this eternal void. Amazing Spider-Man. Modern Sonic. Modern Shadow. Modern Knuckles. Doctor Eggman. Doctor Octopus. And Princess Elise. The former vessels of the Time Factor have been floating here aimlessly, each left for dead in a comatose state, with the air having become much harder to breathe, and no exit to be found in this lifeless dimension.

Though his body is rendered useless, Peter's mind remains strong. It cycles through the images of those dear to his heart. His parents, Richard and Mary. His Uncle and Aunt, Ben and May. His wife, Yang. His daughter from another time, Mayday. His sister-in-law, Ruby. His clone brother, Kaine. And his best friends, Mary Jane and Harry. Just seeing his family is rousing him from his coma, giving him strength to at least twitch his fingers slightly.

Then, suddenly, a massive and mysterious spaceship appears above the comatose warriors. Whoever is piloting it seem to have come specifically for them as they use a tractor beam to safely drag them into the ship. Did they come to their rescue out of the goodness of their heart, or do they have an ulterior motive? One thing's for certain. The heroes are in for a surprise awakening, right after the ship warps out of this dimension.

BGM-Dragon Ball Xenoverse OST-Cutscene: Theme of Towa

Elsewhere, in Chrono World, Kang and his lover are hosting a meeting with his remaining generals aboard his ship. The likes of Eggman Nega, Stryfe, Mephiles, Doctor Doom 2099, Cinder, Erazor Djinn, Black Doom, Ronan the Accuser, a Sigma revived in his X5 Psycho body, and a returning King Arthur have all answered the call, each appearing as holograms from wherever they are in this war dimension.

"So this is what remains of my Chronos Corps." noted Kang, with the demeanor of a stern military commander as he continues to speak to his lackeys, "You have each done a magnificent job surviving this long. Through your efforts, the Time Factor is ours and four of the Chaos Emeralds have been collected. Iblis has recovered, meaning we are nearing the completion of the Solaris Project."

"Then let's not waste any more time. Have you discovered the locations of the remaining Chaos Emeralds while I was…preoccupied?" asked King Arthur.

"You mean while you were frozen in the Ice Age?" Cinder snarked smirkingly.

"Silence, child!" Arthur retorted with a threatening tone that doesn't scare the Maiden one bit.

The stoic Mephiles answers his question, "The Avengers have one Chaos Emerald. As do Apocalypse from what I discovered. His forces have been quite brutal on our own, moreso than the heroes, and I have been unable to discover his base. As for the final Chaos Emerald, its location is still a mystery."

"Is that so?" Kang remarks with a subtle suspicious tone, unaware that Mephiles is keeping the final Chaos Emerald for himself for an unknown reason.

"What about the remaining Nexus?" Stryfe asked about the Nexus of Knowledge, the remaining data required to also complete the Solaris Project.

"Their locations have been discovered, but I still need a little more time preparing my forces to mobilize. This is where Black Doom and Ronan come in to take charge." said Kang, stepping back to allow his alien allies their moment to brief them on their upcoming plans.

The two alien leaders step forth to surround a holographic map, one displaying their primary target which is New Vale City. "In retaliation for the heroes destroying our respective homes, the Black Arms and the Kree are preparing to invade theirs with upgraded weaponry empowered by the newly modified Solaris System." said the vengeful Ronan.

Black Doom continues for him, "The plan is simple: Ravage the city as we march towards Avengers Tower to claim their Emerald. It is left unguarded thanks to this War forcing most of the heroes to spread themselves across many fronts on Chrono World."

"If its unguarded, wouldn't it be more efficient to send a smaller army to raid?" Doom chimed in with his own suggestion, "If they fail to claim the Emerald, the best they can do is sabotage their defenses in time for the real attack."

"An excellent suggestion. Mephiles…" Black Doom turns to the demonic hedgehog, "Considering your abilities, you will lead the first strike on Avengers Tower."

"It would be my pleasure." Mephiles accepted his mission.

"What is your strategy to invade the city?" Ravonna asked the aliens.

"The Kree will attack from the air while my forces attack from the ground using our new superweapon: The Black Iblis Serpent." answered Black Doom.

"Black Iblis Serpent? Explain." The curious Ravonna requested.

"Allow me, Princess." It is now Eggman Nega and his eerie grin's turn to chime into the conversation, "I had the honor of being selected to collaborate in this glorious project. By combining our technologies, we are in the final stages of creating an invincible techno-organic beast based on and powered by the Flames of Disaster. To help Iblis 'stretch his legs' so to speak. According to my calculations, it should be complete by the next two hours."

"Enough time to get your armies ready. I look forward watching your work in action, Doctor." said Ravonna, commending his work thus far.

Nega takes a formal bow, "Thank you, Princess. I won't disappoint."

"If you're interested in the invasion you are free to assist. If not, assist the search parties in locating Apocalypse and the remaining Chaos Emeralds." Ronan faced his holographic allies with missions they are free to choose and comply.

"Understood." Stryfe responded.

Suddenly, Ronan turns away with a surprised look at something on his end that coldly turns into a stare of curiousness humming, "Hmm?" that earns Kang's own curious attention.

"What's wrong, Ronan?" Kang asked.

"An enemy fleet has triggered my alarms and attacking my base! They're targeting my invasion force!" Ronan answered.

"What? Who?" exclaimed the equally-surprised Black Doom, as his Kree ally growls in rage as he seems to already know who has found and is attacking his base.

Asteroid Coaster, Alien Realm

BGM-Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) OST-The Final Battle Begins

The Nova Corps. It is the Nova Corps that are invading Ronan's secret base on this mechanized asteroid field full of machinery and green waste. They are invading, and they are invading hard. The Kree were taken by complete surprise when they find themselves pulverized by a fleet of Xandarian Star Blasters, led by an army of Nova Corpsmen blasting through squadrons of Kree ships and decimating their planned invasion force.

Richard Rider's Nova Prime is the commander of this assault, blasting through the air bounding from enemy ship to enemy ship, ferociously striking them as he passes, swiftly before decimating a small fleet with a massive cosmic beam.

"We got them by surprise and have broken through their defenses! Their invasion force is vulnerable!" exclaimed Nova.

Nearby is a Quinjet piloted by Steve Rogers through this chaotic war-filled airspace between the Nova Corps and the Kree Empire. Accompanying the Living Legend is Agent Venom, Ragna, Classic Sonic, Sersi, and Boom Knuckles, the team assembled to take the fight to Ronan in his flagship, the Silver Aster.

"Shadow's intel was sound. Keep pounding on their invasion force! Can't let them off to invade New Vale!" Steve ordered Rich, who quickly flew off to complete his task. Immediately after comes in more Guardians of the Galaxy, Rocket Raccoon and Baby Groot, piloting their own spaceship as they assist the Avengers blasting through enemy lines. Steve then orders, "Rocket! Lead your team to blow a hole in the Silver Aster's Starboard hull!"

"On it, Cap!" nodded Rocket, flying off with his own little squad towards that hull.

Not long after, Captain Marvel flies by the Quinjet to receive her assignment. "Carol! Cover us as we go in!" Steve ordered his fellow Avenger.

"Right!" Carol complied as she goes off to show off her awesome photonic power. A fleet of fighter ships appear to stop the Mighty Marvel only for her to skillfully evade their attacks, clearing through them all with photon blasts and even crashing into one with her indestructible body as she continues leading the Avengers towards the Kree Flagship.

The heroes near the Silver Aster just as Rocket's group finished blowing a hole into the ship. "Cap! Major! NOW!" Rocket shouted at them.

"Brace for impact!" Cap warned his group.

While Rocket's group keep the Kree at bay with the aid of the Nova Corps, Steve's team and Captain Marvel were able to land the Quinjet inside the Silver Aster through the hole. Upon entry, Venom used the jet's guns to wipe out dozens of Kree Soldiers inside with some assistance from Carol, clearing a land zone right before they abruptly crash onto it.

"Is everyone alright?" asked Steve, concerned for his teammates.

"We're fine, Cap." Sersi answered for them.

Ragna groans while recovering from the intense space battle they just survived through. "Ugh. Sure know how to land a ship." He sassed whilst cracking his neck to a comfortable state.

"Would like to go on that ride again!" expressed Knuckles, smiling with glee and delight from experiencing such a cosmic rush.

"Not until we take down Ronan." replied Steve. The First Avenger jumps off his ship before his friends, meeting up with Captain Marvel as Steve exclaims, "Let's move out, Avengers!" before they rush to defeat Ronan the Accuser and end his invasion on New Vale before it could begin.

With Ronan…

The Accuser can already feel the Avengers rampaging through his ship as he watches them plow through his guards from a holographic screen. This surprise attack leaves the blue man scowling with rage, but does peak Kang's interest. "A preemptive strike. Seems like someone leaked your invasion plans." The Conqueror said almost mockingly to the Kree.

"Most likely from our former hedgehog slave." said Mephiles, guessing correctly that Boom Shadow was responsible for providing the heroes intel on Ronan's location.

"We'll have to move up our timetable." The annoyed Ronan uttered before turning to order the demon, "Hurry and get your forces ready and assault Avengers Tower immediately!" As Mephiles silently signs out with his orders, the Accuser turns to Eggman Nega, "You go back and help Minn-Erva complete the Serpent! The Kree may not be able to join the raid in time, so you better ensure our weapon is TRULY unstoppable!" He ordered with a threatening angry voice.

"Understood." nodded Nega before signing off.

Turning to his Black Arms partner, Ronan tells him, "I will regroup as soon as I finish with the intruders. Hopefully others won't discover your base with the Weapon."

"I will tighten security immediately. But without the Kree, we lack our air support. And I don't have time to prepare my own." said Black Doom.

"Then if I may…" Kang's words suddenly gain the interest of his alien allies, having them turn to his sinister smile as he speaks, "Allow me to hand you some…compensations."

With the Avengers…

BGM-Sonic Colors OST-Asteroid Coaster (Act 2)

Not long after infiltrating the Silver Aster the heroes split up into two groups to handle different objectives that'll lead them to Ronan. A group consisting of Captain Marvel, Classic Sonic, and Boom Knuckles went off to disable a power source blocking the path to the Accuser. "Keep me covered boys!" exclaimed Carol, with her mobian friends holding off enemy forces while she's busy trying to disable the power source. It took a little time but the Captain was successful in dismantling it before contacting Steve with the news, "Cap, this is Carol! Just dismantled the power source! Ronan can't hide behind his impenetrable security doors anymore!"

Elsewhere in the ship, Steve leads his group consisting of Agent Venom, Ragna, and Sersi through an enemy-filled corridor that they are cutting their way towards Ronan's chambers. "Heard you, Carol! We're nearly there so catch up!" responded Steve.

"Never in my life I imagined I'd be fighting aliens and preventing them from invading the planet." said Ragna while plowing through an alien crowd with his Hell's Fang move, "This's the kind of crazy kids would enjoy reading."

"Exciting, right?" quipped Venom while shooting down aliens.

"It's different. Has that charm going for it." snarked Ragna, easily overwhelming several Kree Soldiers with his deadly sword skills, "Honestly it's a breath of fresh air from the usual crap I deal with back home."

"Language!" Cap exclaimed as he shield-slashes security turrets trying to ambush them.

"You seriously did NOT pull that card up on me." The annoyed Ragna snarked.

"Don't mind him. He's only about 100 years old, and looking quite sexy for his age." Sersi flirts while suspending goons in midair with telekinesis before blasting them to the ground.

"Aren't you WAY older?" asked Flash, raising an eyebrow at the immortal Eternal.

"I'm into young men." Sersi quipped.

"Save the flirting AFTER we beat Ronan." snarked Cap.

"I'll hold you to that." Sersi grinned at the sexy solider.

Soon after is when the heroes entered the daunting chambers of Ronan. With his security doors disabled, the group thread carefully with their weapons in hand. The room appears empty, but they know better. They know they are walking into a trap, glancing for any sign of what the trap may be. Agent Venom is in the lead, using his Symbiote-Sense to scan for the deathly danger around them. In that stern moment, he sensed it out, prompting his allies to halt and glare ahead as they spot Ronan dropping right in front of them with his Universal Weapon in hand.

"Quite surprising you found us so soon. Come, bear witness to the DEATH of your world. The Solaris Project shall remake history in our image…" Ronan then sternly burst out his Dark Aura, fueling his being with irresistible corruptive power, "I shall destroy any who resist!"

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Bring on the Bad Guys

The Dark Accuser wastes no time firing a powerful blast from his hammer that immediately forces the heroes to dodge and retaliate. While Venom circles around the alien with rapidfire bullets that are easily blocked, Ragna swiftly leaps forward with his Blood Scythe technique that briefly locks with Ronan's hammer before he is ferociously repelled. But that failure left Cap an opening to hurl his shield at Ronan's knee, forcing him down so he may be bashed back.

"It doesn't have to be like this, Ronan! The Solaris Project is too dangerous!" Steve exclaimed.

"Wrong! The Solaris Project is our salvation! The Kree's last hope in reviving our shattered Empire after you so-called heroes nearly destroyed it!" Ronan furiously manipulates gravity to pull and strike away Rogers with his hammer. Then comes a sudden swarm of attacks from his allies that pushes Ronan to unveil a new trick with the Sol Power, the ability to manipulate space so he may turn his body intangible with the simple phrase, "Phase Shift!" This new trick helps him phase through their now-worthless attacks before unleashing to them a miasma of dark energy that hurts them before detonating and knocking them. Sersi quickly finds this new trick annoying as she uses her cosmic powers on him, turning him tangible again before stunning him with an energy blast.

"That was EGGMAN that destroyed Hala! The Guardians did their best to protect your home!" retorted Steve, hurling his shield once again at the stunned Accuser.

"Were you also informed that one of them and an Earthling Echidna were responsible for RAVAGING my home before it was obliterated by Eggman?" asked Ronan, slamming down a ferocious strike that emits shockwaves upon being blocked by Steve's shield.

"They were under the Black Vortex's control, as were YOU! Now you've let yourself be controlled by Solaris! Fight its influence! More destruction will just bring more misery, for the Kree and everyone else!" Cap continues to valiantly block against the increasing pressure of the Universal Weapon, all while trying to reason with the corrupted Accuser.

"No! Through this power, the Kree will prevent our greatest failure and build the perfect universe! One that's not stained by humanity!" retorted Ronan, finally overcoming the Captain's defense and knocking him back, before Ragna comes in to strike him away from his friend.

"Moron's not listening to reason. Guess we're doing this the hard way." Ragna noted.

"We have to disarm him of his Universal Weapon. Venom, Sersi, blind and surprise him!" ordered Cap.

"Roger." Venom zips in delivering a Web-Strike that harmlessly bounces off Ronan, simply meant to annoy and goad him towards the solider just after projecting a secret symbiote wave in his way. "Venom Trap!" announced Flash, just as his trap captures the Kree whole, only for a several seconds until Ronan burst himself free. Growing enraged, Ronan tries to attack with his hammer again, only to be immediately surprised to notice it has transformed into a snake that wraps him like a Christmas present. That magic trick was thanks to a smiling Sersi, and with him disarmed, Cap and Ragna were free to double-team Ronan with a coordinated assault of sword and shield that knocks him on his butt hard.

Now thoroughly pissed off, Ronan gets back up whilst unleashing the second level of the Sol Power as a fiery burst of energy that blows away the heroes like they were nothing but insects that thought they were winning over a dinosaur. The newly-empowered Sol Ronan then rewinds time on his transformed weapon, turning it back to normal so he may wield it once more for judgment.

"Switching from dark to light? Think it'll make a slight difference?" Ragna taunted.

"The true power of Solaris lies within his light! His flames shall burn down history to carve out a path for a new era!" Sol Ronan proclaims as he slams down his hammer to summon a massive fire pillar from the sky to strike at his enemies. The attack landed, but not at the heroes, but at Captain Marvel arriving at the nick of time to absorb the energy and blast it back out twice as hard on the shocked Accuser.

"Roast some chicken first before roasting history!" quipped Captain Marvel.

Swiftly, Classic Sonic speeds in with a flurry of attacks that dazes Ronan long enough to uppercutted to a wall by an arriving Boom Knuckles's strength. The fiery villains stand back up once more to recognize the echidna, yet angrily confusing him for someone else, "You! YOU are the rodent that laid waste on Hala! I thought you were already disposed of!"

"Pretty sure you're mistaking me for the other red guy. Sure your flames aren't burning your brain?" Knuckles quipped.

Unleashing a furious battle cry, Ronan rushes in with fiery swings that are too fast and powerful for Knuckles to deflect. Carol comes to his rescue with a surprise kick that sends him flying towards Sonic, who knocks him over to both Agent Venom and Ragna with a Spin Dash. "He's all yours!" Sonic shouted at the duo.

"Let's go!" Venom exclaimed.

"Right!" Ragna acknowledged.

The two dark warriors stand side-by-side as they unleash their respective special attacks, Venom with his Death Bite and Ragna with his Carnage Scissors, but that's only the beginning of their combo. Their attacks combine, morphing into a decimating wave of scarlet symbiotic energy that the duo shout as, "DEATH CARNAGE EATER!" But seconds before their attack could devour Ronan, the Accuser swiftly conjures up an energy barrier that blocks it entirely but still explodes on impact.

Ronan walks out of the smoke without a scratch, still fully-powered by the Solaris Power as he sternly confronts the winded heroes. "Damn, this bastard's tough. So this is the power of Solaris…" cursed Ragna, grunting in annoyance to see the Kree Accuser survived their fierce assault.

"Crushing you now won't satisfy my tortured soul. Instead, it is time for the human race to share my pain." said Ronan, being cryptic with his words as he opens a portal behind himself.

"Where do you think you're going? Where's your superweapon?" Steve demanded.

"You will find it. Or perhaps, it will find you." The Kree Accuser maliciously grins to them. But as he leaves through the portal, he announces something to his ship's computer, "Initiate: Auto-destruct! Authorization: Ronan-Genesis-1967!"

BGM-Sonic Rush OST-Bomber Barbara (Part 2)

Just as the atrocious Accuser leaves, his own ship begins to fall apart. Everything begins to shake, exploding from every corner of the large ship. It's losing altitude at a rapid pace as it falls through roller coasters towards a nearby, yet giant, asteroid.

"Gotta go fast!" The horrified Sonic exclaimed.

"No kidding!" Carol quipped, "Sersi!"

"Stay close! This'll be unpleasant!" Sersi wraps the team in a bubble and teleports them to safety, mere seconds before the Silver Aster crashes into oblivion in a massive light that blinds the whole Zone.

Sometime earlier, at Avengers Tower…

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-The Black Shadow

All is eerily quiet surrounding Avengers Tower. Most of the building is vacant, with all but a few heroes out participating in the war, just as Black Doom stated. Which also means the Tower is nearly defenseless. 'The Chaos Emerald is inside, the tower unguarded…It is time to claim what is mine.' thought the voice of Mephiles, ready to begin his deadly mission.

Only nine heroes are hanging out in Avengers Tower. While Hawkeye stands alone on the roof looking out for any incursions, Silver and Maya Fey sleep so adorably together inside the Briefing Room, sharing a blanket next to Phoenix Wright reading some lawyer papers. Modern Amy's nearby at a computer, still being the navigator for the teams out in the field. Tony Stark and Cia are together in the lab trying to find the means to breach Damocles's barrier, either through science or magic, until a stern voice calls out for their attention.

"Stark. Cia." Nick Fury shows up with Sharon Carter by his side, staring at the duo as he asks, "Any updates?"

Stark sighs with a tired shrug, "Still slow cracking the means to breach Kang's shields. But our science team and I have made excellent progress developing our new Anti-Solaris Weaponry. It's been getting harder and harder fighting the Chronos Corps whenever they power up using their System. We're already outnumbered and soon to be outmatched. But after a bit of reverse engineering from their continuous usage, along with help from Cia, I figured out how to create our own artificial Solaris Power."

"How?" A curious Sharon asked.

"Simply transmit the data into ISO-8 and infuse it with our new equipment, incorporating my tech and designs along with Chronoa's. It won't compare to the Solaris System, but it'll even the odds just a bit." explained Stark.

"Glad I'm not regretting leaving you the remaining technology of my fallen home." Cia snarked with a stern look at the armored billionaire.

"You still mad about the Sol Vessel?" asked Stark, being reminded that he did inadvertently revealed its location to Kang before this whole mess started.

"I can hold a grudge. Been leaving one for Kang for many centuries now." Cia quipped.

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Under Siege

'Hawkeye to Stark.' Suddenly, Barton speaks to his teammate through their comms with urgent news, 'We've got movement, seven klicks out…'

Outside, a flying army of Grimm, Iblis Monsters, and Kangdroids rush as several are shot out of the sky by Hawkeye to prevent them from raiding the Tower. "Multiple targets, closing fast." announced Barton, readying another arrow while confirming this attack is led by, "It's the Chronos Corps."

'Charging shield. Sixty seconds to full power.' announced JARVIS.

In that meantime, Hawkeye continues defending the tower with his best arrow shots. Multiple enemies go down at once, but multiple more were able to evade his assault to complete their mission. "Got a couple headed your way!" Barton exclaimed to his teammates inside, prompting them to defend themselves.

A Kangdroid approaches Wright, quickly prompting the frightened lawyer to shake Silver and Maya awake, "GUYS! We've got unwanted company."

As Maya awakens, ignorant to the danger behind her, Silver awakens in time to notice the Kangdroid about to strike and frantically repels it to its destruction. "Where did these guys come from?!" Silver exclaimed, noticing they have been invaded.

"This is what happens when you sleep on the job." quipped Stark after putting on his faceplate and quickly take out goons with speedy repulsor blasts.

"Hold them off 'til the shields are up!" ordered Fury, taking cover from an assault on his end before finding the perfect moment to retaliate with his gun.

Only less than a minute left until the shields are up as more monsters continue to crash their home. Amy leaps up and smashes down Winged Beringel with her hammer before charging at a leaping Iblis Biter to smack it atop several Kangdroids. Sharon holds her own against the horde, dodging attacks from the ones she can't handle before shooting down the weaker ones from behind cover. Silver sticks close to Wright and Maya, using his powers to repel enemies from closing in. A Teryx Grimm was able to get the drop on the psychic hedgehog, striking him from his blindspot and would've clawed him if Wright didn't stun it with his Hover Wispon, allowing Silver to kill it.

"Thanks! You're a lifesaver!" Silver smiles at the lawyer.

"It's my job." Wright quipped with his own smile.

Time is almost up, as Cia controls energy to flow between two magical gateways that she bolts at the remaining goons approaching them. The portals push them back to their destruction, just as the shields are finally live to protect their base for them.

'Shield activated.' JARVIS announced.

"Good job, Barton. Take a break." Stark ordered his friend.

'Acknowledged.' Barton responded.

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-Tension: Silver vs. Shadow

Even with their shields up and running, it won't matter for long as the massive enemy horde continue pounding on it with everything in their disposal. 'Shield holding at eighty percent. At this rate, it will be breached within minutes.' JARVIS informed the heroes.

"Great observation, JARVIS. Does anyone have something useful to share?" quipped Stark.

'Shield at sixty percent.' JARVIS announced.

"Stark…" Fury approaches the inventor with a stern stare, "We're on our own here. Someone is leading this attack from the shadows. And I'm sure we all know who fits that bill." He said while glancing at his comrades.

"Mephiles…" Silver snarled.

'Shield at forty percent.' JARVIS announced another warning, this one more frantic.

"He must be here for the Chaos Emerald." said Cia, prompting Tony to reveal their turquoise Emerald in his hand. The sorceress urgently turns to him with, "Stark, under no circumstance should he get that Emerald! We've already lost too much to him! If he gets all seven-!"

"End of the world! No need to remind me!" Stark snarked.

Suddenly, JARVIS urgently exclaims, 'Danger. Shield at twenty-!' right before the enemy horde managed to breach the shields and crash into the tower whilst destroying everything in their sights.

"Guys, the pizza's here." quipped Stark right before they take action and eliminate the horde.

But just a split-second after the heroes destroyed the intruders, the real threat crashes into the fray as a shadowy vortex that immediately forces the heroes to put their guard up. They each stare at the smoke caused by their explosive impact, quick to notice a creepy and devilish silhouette manifesting from within. Its eyes glow a menacing red that pierces their souls and infuse them with fear and anxiety that won't be forgotten for a long time. And it's made worse with the cold and calm voice that eerily accompanies their whole dark figure.

"Finally…It is the day you'll take your final breath…" The smoke seamlessly disperses to reveal their identity to be that of Mephiles the Dark, here to steal their Chaos Emerald and end the fools desperately trying to defend it from his demonic grasp, "Avengers."

KFX Here: It's time to begin the Act 2 Finale Arc: Battle of New Vale, starring Mephiles invading Avengers Tower for the 5th Chaos Emerald. This should last 3 parts before I can start outlining story beats for Act 3 (assuming Metroid Dread doesn't distract me).
