Iron Man: I'm Iron Man. But you already knew that. Got word the Kree were planning to invade the city, so we teamed-up with the Nova Corps to prevent that from happening. Too bad it wasn't enough as Ronan was still able to escape, and Mephiles launched a surprise attack on Avengers Tower. I know how tough he is and I know he can't take our Chaos Emerald. Mephiles is part of my family's legacy, that's why I'll do everything to stop him!

Unknown Spaceship
Within the walls of a mysterious spaceship, Amazing Spider-Man lies unconscious in a bed with a bright light shining on him from above. His eyes twitch as he slowly opens them in shock. Finally awake, the webslinger recalls what transpired that got him here in the first place before passing out: His surprise capture by Kang. His Time Factor being stolen. Himself being swallowed up by the collapsing Time Abyss. Then nothing.
"Where…?" Peter looks around what appears to be an infirmary to find that he's not alone. Modern Sonic, Modern Knuckles, Modern Shadow, Princess Elise, and Doctors Eggman and Octopus are all sharing the room with him, with all of them equally unconscious on their own beds. "Guys!" Pete hurries to Sonic, gently shaking him awake, "Hey Sonic. Rise and shine, sleepyhog."
Sonic tiredly groans, "…Pete?"
"Good, you're alive. Meaning the others must be too. Take it easy. I'll go wake them." said Peter as he goes to wake up his other friends, and enemies.
The last person to be awakened was Princess Elise, who opens her groaning eyes to the sight of her amazing friend. The instant she realizes it's Spider-Man she tackles him with a smiling hug, "Spider-Man! I'm so glad it's you!"
Peter smiles behind his mask, "Take it easy, Elise. We were all worried about you. Glad you're safe." His smile then shifts to a frown, "I am truly sorry we failed to save your home."
"That's okay." Elise shakes her smiling head, "I know you did your best, and I know you got my people to safety." She then looks at her unfamiliar surroundings, "So, where are we?"
"About as clueless as you." Peter responded.
BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Creepy Space Tree
Knuckles stretches his stressed back after being unconscious for so long as he says, "How did we all end up together? I remember being caught by some rift and Kang stealing something from me."
"Same here. Safe to assume he's obtained all our Time Factors." Shadow commented.
"This is just my luck." said Eggman, being sarcastically annoyed as he and Ock groups up with their most hated enemies, "First the Kree coming smashing on my front door demanding the same thing from me and Otto, next thing I find myself waking up with you fools as if we're college roommates."
"Maybe next time you shouldn't go blowing up alien homeworlds." Sonic quipped.
"Forget about that. I vaguely recall we were trapped in some pocket dimension. How did we end up here?" Ock asked.
"You're the genius. You tell us." Peter quipped.
Suddenly, a door behind them opens for a sinister scientist that appears awfully familiar to the group as they speak with a grinning, "You're finally awake."
And to their gasping surprise, the heroes turn to see Mister Sinister standing near that door. "Mister Sinister? Just what's going on?" retorted Spider-Man, with Sinister looking very forward to explaining everything to them judging by his smirk.

Avengers Tower, Alien Realm
BGM-Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite OST-Theme of Ultron
Meanwhile, things have gone dark over at Avengers Tower. The heroes' base of operations was just attacked by the Chronos Corps, and though those inside were able to fend off the invaders, one remained. The Dark Devil that orchestrated this attack in the first place, Mephiles the Dark. His goal is to obtain their Chaos Emerald, and the only heroes standing between him and ultimate power is a ragtag team led by the Invincible Iron Man. Him, Cia, Nick Fury, Agent 13, Silver, Modern Amy, Phoenix Wright, and Maya Fey stand together confronting him, hoping they have what it takes to defeat this demon god.
"This is bad. Like really, really bad." said Maya, hiding behind Wright from the scary hedgehog.
Sensing her fears got Mephiles chuckling quite sinisterly, "Your fear is delicious. How nice to see my most hated enemies cowering in fear before me. I am truly honored."
"Don't flatter yourself, No-Mouth. You're less intimidating than Justin Hammer calling for a hostile takeover, and that guy doesn't have the brains to be intimidating." Iron Man bravely mocked the demon.
"Just like your father. Hiding your mistakes and failures behind humor." Mephiles returns his own little jab at the Stark family.
"How else can we get a laugh while messing up Time Gods?" quipped Stark.
"Did it hurt when your father repeatedly let you down, Stark? Spent more time experimenting on me than playing with his only child?" Mephiles continued with the cold taunts, "Realize that I am helping you. Hand me the Chaos Emerald and your fates will change for the better. You wouldn't dare defy a god?"
Fury cockily shoots a smirk, "Call yourself a god yet throw temper tantrums like a baby whenever things don't work out for you. Always losing control over your own creations. Allowing them to seal you away. Heck, you were the one being controlled back when you were just smoke and gears. Pathetic."
Mephiles doesn't show it, but his taunting really struck a nerve in his demonic soul. In a swift blitz, Mephiles rams an arm blade straight into Fury's heart whilst slamming him to a wall, fatally wounding the superspy. "You've prattled on for far too long enough. The remaining two Chaos Emeralds will soon be mine. How does it feel knowing your 'children' of PEGASUS will lead to the ultimate decimation of the world?" He mocks the dying director.
But even with his dying breath, Fury still has the strength to smirk out one final taunt to his creation, "Won't feel as good as this…"
Then all of a sudden, at point-blank range, Nick Fury's body explodes with such force that it not only knocks back Mephiles, but left him completely paralyzed thanks to the mysterious energy infused into Fury, who wasn't exactly Fury. Noticing the robotic pieces scattered on the floor, Mephiles quickly realizes he was duped by a Life-Model Decoy of Nick Fury. "A fake?!" exclaimed the surprised Demon.
Having known about this secret plan beforehand, Cia wastes no time entrapping Mephiles within a magic circle of light that his darkness can't break free from, but that's just the start. While Iron Man takes to the air charging his Unibeam to full power with his Chaos Emerald, Silver charges his psychokinesis to its maximum as well. Cia charges her scepter with potent light energy right before calling out, "Amy! Get the others clear!" Once her friends found cover, and just as Mephiles realize their plan, Cia shouts, "TRINITY LIMIT!" as she combines powers with Stark and Silver to unleash a triple, almighty, devastating energy wave from all three angles that utterly massacres Mephiles to the point of him screaming in excruciating pain.
"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
But unwilling to accept this humiliating defeat, Mephiles endures their attack long enough to charge up a Dark Chaos Blast. And the second he finished, he repels their combo with a powerful explosion of dark energy that not only scatters the heroes to the ground but also ruin their battlegrounds.

Mephiles collapses to his knees after exhausting so much energy just to defend himself. A recovering Silver sees this as his chance to rush in for the finishing blow, but Mephiles catches the incoming hedgehog with an attack that corrupts him with dark energy.
BGM-One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 OST-Fruit of Darkness
"Naïve as always, Silver. You've become my slave once more and will follow my every command. Starting with the destruction of Iron Man!" ordered Mephiles.
No matter how hard he resists, the Dark Aura takes full control of the screaming Silver as his eyes are blanked out and his fur becomes much darker. The newly-corrupted Dark Silver turns his berserker scowl at a recovering Iron Man, who quips, "Silver, you feeling alright? You're not looking very silvery." right before he is smashed through the wall by the corrupted hedgehog's psychokinetic powers.
Suddenly, Mephiles finds himself dodging a barrage of energy blasts from a recovered Cia declaring a duel between creation and creator. The Dark Demon simply laughs at her efforts while seamlessly transforming into his Devil Form, "You forget, Chronoan…I created you and I can easily break your life."
"Your godhood has no control over me." declared Cia as she takes her powers to new heights with a simple gesture, with her eyes turning gold and her body radiating a golden light that annoys even her dark creator, all while forming a golden halo behind her back that resembles a clock.
Devil Mephiles shockingly recognizes this power as her Time Power Unleashed state, the same form she used during the final battles against the Syndicate and Apocalypse in Robotropolis. Power this godly rivals his own and thensome, but he isn't afraid. The devil remains calm and confident, charging up his malicious dark aura to get ready to kill his own creation.

Back inside Apocalypse's Spaceship…
The Immortal Mutant himself and his Horsemen were gathered in the command deck minding their own business, either watching fights happening across Chrono World on TV, reading a book, or simply leaning on the wall like an edgelord, until Mister Sinister arrived with some grinning news. "Lord Apocalypse. Our guests have awakened and wish to speak with you." He said, just as Spider-Man's group enter the room.
"No I wished for ice cream. Not meeting the Abominable Apocalypse." Peter quipped.
"A-A-A-Apocalypse!" Eggman stuttered in absolute fear in amidst the mutant's unforgiving presence, as he's sure he hasn't forgotten about their last encounter. The adventure that forced Eggman to do his dirty work and had the gall to betray him behind his back, leading to Apocalypse's defeat at the hands of the Freedom Fighters and X-Men.
Apocalypse smiles at the heroes, "Ahh, you have awakened at last. You each were badly hurt and left stranded in that empty dimension. It would seem that Kang got what he wanted, so be thankful we've been keeping an eye on you and brought you back from the brink of death."
"Infinite, and Archangel. You sent them to save us twice before. Why? Tell us!" Sonic demanded, rightfully suspicious of Apocalypse's motives.
Knuckles sternly takes a fighting stance at the Horsemen, "You wanna fight us again?"
"Not exactly. I want you to join forces with me." Apocalypse proposed, which obviously surprised the heroes.
"Huh? You must be joking!" Sonic retorted.
"Not surprising to hear. For too long we've been on opposite sides." Apocalypse quipped.
"Just what on earth are you planning?" Shadow demanded with a stern, no-nonsense tone.
BGM-Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity OST-Mystery of the Meteorite
At last, Apocalypse finally explains his motives starting with, "I want to defeat that idiot Kang and prevent Solaris' resurrection. I'm sure by now you know of my history with Chronoa."
"Yeah, how your little war with them nearly got both them and you killed by Solaris." Peter quipped.
Apocalypse continues, "The Chronos Corps is an eyesore towards my plans for world domination, and they've been growing ever tiresome since our era was dragged into their Time War. I've been acting in order to stop them as well, but it seems I've been one step behind. Using the Time Factor stolen from you fools, Solaris' resurrection grows near and their army grows stronger." The mutant then unveils his own white Chaos Emerald to the heroes, "All that's left for them is the remaining 3 Chaos Emeralds and the necessary data to unlock Solaris' full potential. Which is why I need your power to defeat them."
"So this is what you meant before, when you said 'our goals will align when the Time War reaches its climax'." quoted Sonic, which is confirmed to be true by Apocalypse's smile. "Still, why come to us?"
"You're among the few beings in any universe to have defeated Solaris. At the very least, two of you have managed to seize control over one of his incarnations." said Apocalypse, walking up to the unnerved Doctors with the most devilish grin on his face, "Data like that is invaluable to our cause. And I rather keep a close EYE on it to avoid any mishaps, if you value all you hold dear." He said right up to Eggman's sweaty face, making it very clear to him that he will kill him if he betrays him again.
"Y-Y-Yes. We understand. We'll do whatever you say." stuttered the scared Eggman, reluctantly enrolling himself to Apocalypse's services once more.
Elise leans close to Spider-Man to whisper him, "Can we really trust him?"
"No. But he's not giving us much choice. And it wouldn't be the first time we teamed up with our enemies to save the world, no matter how much we don't like them and their makeup." whispered Peter. The webhead shares a glance with his mobian friends who are all in agreement of their next decision, allowing Peter to answer for the group, "Fine. We'll work with you. But if you and your cronies do anything evil behind our backs, we're beating the crap outta you all the way back to Ancient Egypt."
Apocalypse chuckles, "If that happens, you'll have to worry about defeating Solaris on your own if he's revived."
"We beat 'em before and we can beat 'em again, with or without your help." Sonic quipped.
"It's not weak showing caution against formidable, unpredictable adversaries. It'd be wise to be well prepared if things don't go your way. On that note…" Apocalypse shoots the heroes a smile that worries them, "Who here is interested in some…enhancements?"

Meanwhile at Avengers Tower…
BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Vs. Silver the Hedgehog
Iron Man has his hands full escaping the wrath of Dark Silver relentlessly pursuing him throughout the tower, narrowly dodging a crazy amount swarm of debris being hurled right at his back. "Silver! Come back to your senses! Mephiles' energy has overtaken you!" shouted Stark while firing a repulsor blast that was evaded by the corrupted hedgehog's warping ability.
"Everything…I'll destroy everything…!" Dark Silver muttered growlingly, clearly out of his mind. He snares the armored hero with a cyan lightning blast, paralyzing him as he hurls and smashes him through walls until he's smashed into a hallway. The hedgehog blasts at him again, but this time Stark was able to counter with a repulsor barrage that stuns him for a flurry of punches.
"Gotta exhaust your power to turn you back to normal. Sorry kid. This hurts me more than it hurts you." said Stark. But Silver was able to burst free from his assault and paralyze him again, with the added effect of brutally trying to rip him apart piece by piece, "YEAAAAAGH, this is hurting me too much! JARVIS! Some HELP…!"
His AI butler responds by activating a hidden turret in the ceiling that electrocutes Silver with a single shot, forcing him to let go of Tony so he may angrily turn to rip down the turret. But this left him wide open for a voltaic punch from the Armored Avenger that knocks him out cold, freeing him from Mephiles' corruption as the dark energy evaporates from his body.

"Sorry to do that to you, Silver." Stark said while sincerely looking down at the unconscious hedgehog, "You're just like me. Fighting for the future. Often distracted when the past catches up to you. Dad…" Memories of Howard Stark come swarming into his mind. He recalls the good times they spent together. The bad times that left their relationship strained. How his father was the catalyst for Project Pegasus, the project that gave birth to Iblis and Mephiles, before his untimely death. These memories remind Tony what is at stake, giving his face newfound determination to do whatever it takes to save the world. "I promise. I won't let our legacy destroy the future we're striving hard to build." He promised to his deceased father.
Just as Tony picks up Silver, he feels a tremendous tremor that's shaking the entire tower. The source of the quakes is coming from above, and the cause is already obvious to the supergenius, "That's one hell of a party they're having up there. Sucks they kicked me out of it."
BGM-Final Fantasy 9 OST-Dark Messenger
The battle up in the devastated briefing room has gotten really intense in such an instant. Light and darkness clash in the form of Haloed Cia and Devil Mephiles duking it out with a beautiful display of energy blasts and physical blows that don't slow either down at all. And yet, Cia seems to be slowly gaining the advantage, thanks to her earlier team attack leaving Mephiles quite weakened.
"Black World!" Still, Mephiles has more than enough tricks to compensate his weakness. He entraps all players and spectators inside his own pocket dimension made out of pure darkness, laughing while dissipating into the darkness before swarming the arena with his Shadow Monsters to fight in his place.
Maya screams, "These things are scary!"
"Not as scary as Franziska!" quips Wright, using his Hover Wispon to defend themselves from the swarm.
Amy and Sharon come to their defense, swinging hammers and shooting guns to fend off the Shadows that want to get explosively personal with them. Cia knows only one way to defeat the swarm and that is by drawing Mephiles out of the darkness. The power of Solaris erupts from within her, seamlessly disintegrating both the Shadows and the dimension at once, forcing Mephiles to reveal himself while his body is left stunned by her illuminating brilliance.
With Mephiles stunned, Cia surrounds him with multiple portals that barrage him with energy blasts, keeping him busy while summoning a clock-like construct in front of herself. "Temporal Holy Ray!" She exclaims, firing a powerful energy lance from the construct straight at the dark demon.
Too bad for her, Mephiles slows down time to evade her attacks, teleporting to deliver a serious blow to her back, if Cia didn't also slow down time to counteract with a powerful energy blast. Growing annoyed, Mephiles psychically hurls at her a swarm of debris before following along with a Light Speed Attack. Cia was prepared to counter the thrown objects but was caught off-guard when Mephiles bounces off them, obliterating them one by one at frightening speeds before striking the sorceress. He's not done yet. He continues his assault with a barrage of deathly blows that does a number on her before firing a blast that detonates on impact.
Yet to his shock, Mephiles quickly realized he was tricked upon being surrounded by several illusions of the Time Sorceress. Cia survived his last attack by warping away at the last second and is ready for some payback, commanding her illusions to blast the demon to the ground. Right as he stands up, Mephiles shoots a deathly glare at the illusions, unleashing a psionic shockwave that dispels the illusions and giving the real one a terrible migraine. The Devil then psychically pulls her towards his grasp with a sinister gesture, summoning the arm of the Time Eater from thin air to smash its huge fist straight onto Cia's whole body, sending her flying to crack the wall behind her. He summons another arm, this time from above the wounded sorceress. With another simple gesture, the arm comes crashing towards Cia. But at the very last second, Cia warps spacetime to switch places with Mephiles, leaving him surprised just right before he is smashed through the lower levels of the tower.
Cia takes a quick breather, letting out a sigh of tiredness before her legs are suddenly wrapped by black tendrils erupting from beneath her. They brutally drag her down, smashing her through the many floors of Avengers Tower, until she is met face-to-face with a recovered Mephiles, him freezing time upon her arrival, and him charging up a powerful energy blast in the palm of his hand. Quickly the sorceress frees herself from his chrono grasp while time continues freezing their surroundings for this final clash.
"Join your ancestors in oblivion. DARKNESS IMPACT!" shouted Mephiles, unleashing his dark energy wave straight at the last Chronoan.
"Subspace Summon: Captain Marvel!" Cia performs an ability similarly to the Schnees' Semblance, manipulating spacetime to summon a golden version of Captain Marvel from another timeline to aid in her defense. Her summon narrowly blocks the massive energy blast, absorbing it all to increase her strength right before pulverizing Mephiles with a flurry of blows to give Cia time to charge up her power for the final blow. "All who interfere with space and time will be duly dealt with, including you! ULTRA TIME JUDGEMENT!" Alongside her mighty yell, the time sorceress fires from her scepter a large pink bolt of energy powered by time's full might straight onto Mephiles, with force so devastatingly powerful that he is sent screaming in excruciating pain right back to the briefing room.

Time resumes as Haloed Cia warps back to the briefing room to reunite with her friends. Just as Iron Man returns carrying the unconscious Silver, they stand together to watch Devil Mephiles struggling to stand on his feet. The beating he received was most unexpected. He didn't suspect Cia would grow into the strongest Chronoan that was born with Solaris' power and is now paying the price for his arrogance.
"Y-You hurt me…Hurt your god…That HURT!" panted Mephiles with a very rare and furious tone. Yet, he also found this beating quite laughable that got the Chronoan curious, "Such Time Power…The level to rival a god…Almost lost faith, but you have developed into quite the weapon. Just as I envisioned for the rest of your people."
"Huh? What are you talking about?" interrogated Cia, noting he's hiding a dark secret regarding the Chronoans.
"In time…You will learn the truth, and all will suffer for angering me." Mephiles then ominously teleports out of the tower, leaving with the small victory of casting dread into Cia's head, making her pondering on what her true fate is.
Back in Apocalypse's Spaceship…
Spider-Man's group accepted Apocalypse's offer for enhancements to their natural abilities. As much as they despise working alongside Earth's immortal enemy, they understand that they can't defeat the Chronos Corps as they are. So, after being led to a lab, the geniuses of this uncanny alliance worked hard in developing a set of new equipment for their allies using Celestial Technology. Eggman and Octavius are together at a computer compiling all their knowledge of their work on the Time Eater into useful data for Apocalypse, under the stern supervision of Mister Sinister. Spider-Man tasked himself into creating new tech for his heroic friends to combat the Sol Power.
Sonic stretches his legs while wearing special hi-tech Flash Speed Shoes designed around the ones he wore during the Space Colony ARK incident to augment his speed to awesome new heights beyond light and time, a cyan Crystal Ring on his right wrist to amplify and regulate his electricity abilities, as well as Cosmic Gloves that are in the form of a set of three black spikes attached on top of his Crystal Ring to serve a mysterious purpose that he's going to love showing off during a fight.
Knuckles punches the air while equipped with his new set of equipment. Simply upgraded Shovel Claws alongside a new pair of Hammer Gloves to multiply the insane power of his fists, and a pair of blue sunglasses to look cool and do other cool stuff like see invisible items.
"Wow. You're all looking very cool with your new equipment." said Princess Elise, smiling alongside her friends. Sonic returns a smile added with a thumbs up to her, which she nods at before turning to Spider-Man's workstation, "What about yours?"
"Nearly done." said Spider-Man, in the middle of completing his new red-and-black suit unknowingly based on his Xandearth counterpart as it sports the unique golden spider-emblem on the chest, "Gotta say, working with Celestial Tech is pretty awesome. There's no limit to what I can create with it." He then hands her one of his Spider-Tracers, "Here."
"What's this?" asked Elise while accepting the device.
"A Spider-Tracer. Just in case you ever get kidnapped again." Peter quipped.
Elise smiles, "Thank you, though I hope I never get kidnapped again. Going through that experience in two timelines has left me quite annoyed." She joked, which got a laugh from the webslinger.
BGM-Shadow the Hedgehog OST-Determination
Nearby, Shadow isolates himself with his back leaning on a wall and his arms crossed. He didn't receive much upgrades due to being the Ultimate Lifeform, only receiving upgraded Air Shoes to augment his speed beyond light as well. He takes this time alone to reflect over his near-death experience by Mephiles' hands. That monster was toying with him throughout their fight, hiding strength that utterly surpassed the world's Ultimate Lifeform. Such humiliation infuriates Shadow, having him biting his teeth hard and wanting to punch the wall if a certain mutant didn't interrupt his thoughts.
"Thinking about revenge on The Devil?" asked Apocalypse, surprising the black hedgehog with his sudden appearance by his side. Shadow answers with his typical scoff before turning away from the villain. Regardless, Apocalypse continues speaking to him, "You're not the only one that seeks vengeance on Mephiles. That accursed Sun God stopped me during my moment of triumph over Chronoa and had the nerve to tamper with my destiny. Never again. This war will be his end. But it will be difficult. Mephiles has grown in strength since you last fought him and has become nearly unbeatable."
"I could've guessed that much." snarked Shadow, "But I'll keep fighting until he is defeated."
Apocalypse grins, "I respect that strength of will. Here." He tosses to the hedgehog a strange item that feels cosmic in nature.
"What's this?" asked Shadow while examining the item.
"A Cosmic Memory Shard. Created by the Celestials themselves. It strengthens the balance between mind, body, and soul to achieve unimaginable power, granting the user instant access and knowledge to a multitude of abilities studied by them." answered Apocalypse, before giving him additional advice, "To defeat Mephiles, you must outsmart him. Destroy him with power he has never witnessed from you before."
"I'll keep that in mind." Shadow responded, accepting his advice and Memory Shard.

BGM-Shadow the Hedgehog OST-Great Blackarms
Just then, Archangel enters the lab with urgent news for his mutant lord, "Master!"
"What is the latest report on the Kree?" Apocalypse asked.
"The Nova Corps was successful in crushing their stronghold at Asteroid Coaster, but we have learned of a new problem that endangers us all." Archangel's worrisome words quickly caught the attention of the others in the room as they turn to listen closely, "By hacking into their communications, we have learned the Kree have just launched a nuclear missile solely powered by Solaris Energy!"
"Power like that could wipe out an entire timespace of this dimension. What is the target?" Apocalypse asked.

From the Doctors to the Heroes, everyone stares anxiously at Archangel. It took a moment, but the Horseman looks at his master with a serious stare as he announces the designated target being, "…The United States."
Elsewhere, in a Secret Underground Laboratory…
BGM-Shadow the Hedgehog OST-Preparation for Ritual
"A Ballistic Missile, Ronan?! Are you crazy?!" exclaimed a surprised Eggman Nega while having a phone call with the Accuser. As the Mad Doctor continues arguing with him, he walks through his control room to meet with his Kree partner in science, Minn-Erva, as she inputs the final touches of their dark superweapon of mass destruction into the computer, "I know the heroes surprised you, but it's so soon launching a nuke when we're just about ready to unleash our living slithery one!"
'Then unleash it! Black Doom's army will follow! I'm in position to unleash the Eye! I've rigged our teleporters to evacuate us right before the missile strikes! We will keep the enemy busy on all three fronts up until that moment! By the end of the day, their country will be wiped out! NONE OF THEM will escape judgment!' Ronan furiously ordered.
"Acknowledged." replied Nega before hanging up. He then turns to Minn-Erva with an eerie grin ordering, "You heard him. It's time to unleash our masterpiece upon the fools of New Vale! They'll regret the day they dared cross the Chronos Corps!" The Nega Doctor burst into maniacal laughter just as their alien masterpiece rises from a green swirling portal in the middle of the room, in the form of an ominous, yet shockingly massive black serpent that looks ready to go on a destructive rampage on the world.
Meanwhile in New Vale City…
Ronan the Accuser stands vigilantly atop a skyscraper. He glares down at the city and its inhabitants looking so peaceful, being reminded of how, relatively, peaceful the people of Hala were before their homeworld was obliterated by an Earthling's hands. That memory fuels his rage towards humanity ever more as he tightens his grip on his Universal Weapon. "New Vale City, you stand accused." He speaks solemnly, activating his Sol Aura as he continues speaking, "Your wretched Avengers will not save you now." He then points his hammer to the sky while it's being charged with Solaris Energy, "'Tis the tinder on which you BURN!"
And with a mighty beam fired from his hammer, Ronan cracks opens a massive dimensional rift high above the city. But it's no ordinary rift, as the civilians quickly notice. Using advice from Kang, the Accuser has unlocked access to a sacred ability that was solely wielded by Solaris himself. The populace looks to the dark blue rift to notice a black pupil that one is joking about being similar to, "Is that the Eye of Sauron?!" The demonic pupil of this Eye of Solaris looks around before narrowing its sights down on the city. It then fiercely turns red before spewing out meteorites from across time to attack the city, scaring people away from fires and destruction as this marks the beginning of the end for New Vale City.

KFX Here: Many problems are about to hit the heroes big time, and that also includes their new unlikely alliance with Apocalypse. But at least the alliance comes with special perks, such as Sonic, Knuckles, and Shadow gaining upgrades based on the "Level Up Items" from the Sonic Adventures games and Sonic 06.
