Act 2 Finale: Battle of New Vale (Part 3) – Comeback
New Vale City, Alien Realm. Chrono World.
The clock is ticking as the Kree's Ballistic Missile is only minutes away from reaching the city as the Battle of New Vale rages on. Nova Corps, GUN, and the NVPD are doing their best fighting the invasion, having managed to contain most of the fighting within Midtown. The Black Iblis Serpent continues its fiery rampage through the streets, only fended off by several superheroes from across time and dimensions. The red Eye of Solaris keeps on spitting out an endless supply of aliens to spread chaos, fiercely turning blue to suck in anyone and anything whenever it looks to be annoyed by their attempts to stop it.
BGM-Sonic Unleashed OST-Boss Battle (Day)
But uncaught by the gaze of Solaris is a blinding bright light that burst into existence right after Modern Sonic, in his Evolved Lightning Mode, rocketed his Spin Dash on Sol Ronan the Accuser. The Kree Leader was able to block his attack, albeit flinching from its electrical effects and struggling to repel him. With a furious battle cry, Sonic continues to pressure him with speedy strikes while others like Team RWBY and Apocalypse watch from nearby. The Blue Blur unleashes a flurry of lightning-speed blows that Ronan was narrowly able to dodge only by manipulating time to speed up his actions.
Modern Shadow suddenly warps behind Ronan to throw a powerful attack, one that the Accuser swiftly phases through so it could send Sonic flying. The furious Kree slams his Universal Weapon on the black hedgehog, who amazingly turns the tables by tapping into his Chaos Boost Mode to effortlessly catch his mighty blow with one hand. Shadow is now stronger than ever before thanks to the Cosmic Memory Shard he absorbed from Apocalypse, allowing him to unleash new and destructive techniques. One is demonstrated right as he pierces Ronan in the abdomen with a brutal punch, charging chaos energy in his fist before shouting, "Chaos…BURST!" to fire the energy in the form of a powerful beam through the alien's chest, knocking him back to tend to his severe wounds.
Nearby, Amazing Spider-Man and Adam Taurus found themselves working together to take down Dark Minn-Erva. The Spider and Bull were knocked back unharmed by the Kree Scientist who levitates to the air to deliver taunting words to them, "No matter how many of you humans band together, you'll never be able to overcome me or my greatest creation!" She proclaimed, referring to the Black Iblis Serpent as her greatest work yet.
"Hear that, Taur? The blue-skinned know-it-all called you a human! That must sting." quipped Spidey, knowing Taurus is a Faunus.
"Just shut up and stay out of my way!" Taurus sternly ordered the webhead before rushing to battle the Kree alone.
Charging up her energy, Minn-Erva unleashes a powerful blast down at the deadly bull. Taurus swiftly whips out his sword, Wilt, to block the blast whilst absorbing it with his Semblance. "No no, you're doing it all wrong. You need a red cape to annoy a bull." joked Spidey as he surprises the doctor with a Web Strike kick across the face. Using his Spider-Arms, the webslinger unleashes the ultimate power and lightning-fast speed of an arachnid wearing Celestial-powered armor that can push any foe to their limit, including Minn-Erva. She angrily catches one of his attacks and throws him into a building, darting towards him with a brutal energy punch that Spidey easily backflips away from before knocking her to the streets with a Cosmic Web Blast from his Celestial Web Shooters.
Taurus uses this chance to rush at the dazed Kree, resulting in a high-speed clash of powers that doesn't wear down either warrior but does wonders distracting Minn-Erva so Spidey could land a strike. "Keep her busy, pal, while I showoff my new toys!" exclaimed Spidey, leaping off the wall to smash Minn-Erva into the ground with Spider-Arms unleashing lasers as devastatingly powerful as a power plant.
Minn-Erva wasn't down for the count just yet. With the last of her strength, she erupts from her crater while morphing into the form of a massive, roaring monstrous version of herself with wings that can shoot lasers out of her eyes. "Wuh-boy! Glad Carol doesn't turn monster ugly when going Binary!" jokes Spidey while narrowly swinging away from her laser barrage.
Gladly for Taurus, he is free to launch the finishing blow while Minn-Erva is too distracted trying to eradicate Spider-Man. "I'll rein you in." He muttered. Through the glowing red power of his Moonslice Semblance, the Masked Faunus blitzes Minn-Erva with his sword in hand. With a single slash, Adam defeats the Kree Scientist, forcing her to revert to her normal form before she collapses into unconsciousness.
Minn-Erva's down, but not the other supervillains. Archangel and Dark Metal Sonic 3.0 trade blitzing blows too fast for the naked eye high in the sky, with the former unleashing a hail of metallic feathers that would shred the latter into pieces if he didn't protect himself with an energy barrier.
Down below, the combined forces of Horseman Magik, Infinite, and a growling Modern Knuckles were pushed back by Sol Stryfe's overwhelming power. "Enough playing around!" declared the Chaos-Bringer.
"You got that right!" retorted Magik. Right after the Limbo Queen warps forward to battle Stryfe head-on, Knuckles burrows into the ground to be ready for a sneak attack, all before Infinite charges up a mighty energy blast.
The swift second Magik landed a mystical blow with her Soulsword, Stryfe blocked it with a psychic barrier. The Limbo Queen furiously cleaves through his defenses with a flurry of strikes until she was brutally repelled with a single punch. Then to his surprise, he felt the earth tremble beneath him as Knuckles emerges with a devastating uppercut that sent the mutant crashing into Metal high in the sky. Infinite uses this opportunity to trap both foes in virtual reality, surrounding them with virtual cannons before warping to their location with his fully-charged energy blast. Both his attack and the firepower of his cannons are unleashed simultaneously, resulting in them being slammed to a truck that consumes them in a devastating explosion that rocks the battlefield.
"Nice fireworks, guys." commented by Lightning Sonic after watching that awesome combo. He turns to Chaos Boost Shadow beside him, smiling as he says, "Let's one-up 'em."
"If you can keep up." quipped Shadow.
Shadow teleports away right as Sonic charges up to Light Speed levels to try and surprise Ronan with an attack from behind. "TIME FREEZE!" shouted the Accuser in an attempt to freeze the blue blur in time.
"Too fast to stop me!" quipped Sonic, completely immune to time powers thanks to his upgraded shoes rendering him faster than time itself. Out of options, Ronan stood helpless to a swift blow that knocks him into the sky. Shadow follows up with a teleporting strike of his own that knocks him back to Sonic, who follows up with a similar light-speed tactic.
"ATOMIC STRIKE!" Both Hedgehogs shouted out their team combo, which is simply delivering a series of strikes that are so chaotically fast that it creates a massive energy field around Ronan, having it crash into the ground as a massive explosion that the hedgehogs pose in front of.

Minn-Erva, defeated. Metal Sonic and Stryfe, wounded. Ronan, too injured to stand on both legs and on the verge of collapsing into unconsciousness. This batch of the Chronos Corps have been defeated, with Doom's Eye remaining untouched as it descends above his allies. "Very well. If we cannot kill the body…We shall cut off the head." said Black Doom, cryptically shooting a glance at Avengers Tower. "Stryfe." He calls upon him for a mysterious purpose.
"Yeah." Stryfe immediately understood his next task as he stands confronting the heroes with a sinister smile, "Enjoy playing with the Serpent." The Chaos-Bringer then teleports away, right before the rest of the Chronos Corps retreat via teleportation as well.
Cable scoffs with gritted teeth, "They got away."
"But they won't be a problem anytime soon." Shadow noted.
Suddenly, a magical portal opens beside the heroes as they watch Cia, Beast, and Agent 13 running out to greet them. "Guess you didn't need our help after all. Hey there Other Me. How're you all holding up?" Sharon asked her Captain America counterpart.
Female Cap grins, "Barely escaped death thanks to our surprise guests." whilst gesturing to Apocalypse and his Four Horsemen.
BGM-Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite OST-Disaster
"Apocalypse?! What are YOU doing here?!" Cia asked while furiously confronting the mutant destroyer of her ancient home.
"Giving you a fighting chance against Kang!" Apocalypse retorted.
"You're lying! Why should we believe you after everything you've done?!" questioned sternly by the Time Sorceress.
"Because if you don't, the Earth is DOOMED!" Apocalypse responded grimly, "I can't stand that man's plans! He cannot be allowed to succeed or it will be the end of us all." He claimed, but Cia remains fiercely adamant in not trusting the monster that brought war and ruin to her childhood kingdom.
"Shall we argue about this alliance later? We have more pressing matters to attend to." said Beast, interrupting their heated argument.
Cia calms herself down with a simple sigh before saying, "You're right. Spider-Man!" She turns to face the webslinger, "Glad to see you alive. I need your help to close that massive time rift."
"You mean the giant eye in the sky?" Peter quipped while glancing up at the Eye of Solaris, "How?"
"My magic alone isn't strong enough to seal it. But alongside the Chronoblade, it's possible." Cia explained.
"So we're gonna poke it shut. Like it. Simple and sweet." quipped Peter.
"And the nuclear missile that's coming to blow up the country?" Sonic snarks about the other major threat that's reaching the city in a few minutes time.
"We're still working on that." replied Cia, ignoring the cross-armed scoff from Apocalypse.
"In the meantime, the rest of us will keep that Black Beast from reaching the Tower." announced Ruby, planning to join the massive fight against Iblis.
'Black Beast? You guys been fighting one of those?'
"Ragna?"
The loud engines of an incoming jet got everyone to look up to see a Quinjet flying over them towards Avengers Tower. "Glad you're back from Asteroid Coaster, Grim Reaper. Stay with your team and defend the Tower. That's an order!" ordered Cia.
An annoyed Ragna scoffs through their comms, 'Fine.'

Rushing into the wrecked briefing room to meet with Iron Man is Steve Rogers and his team, consisting of Agent Venom, Rocket Raccoon, Classic Sonic, Boom Knuckles, Baby Groot, Ragna, and Sersi. "Stark, we're here!" announced Steve.
"Heya, Cap. Sorry I didn't clean up before you showed up." quipped Iron Man.
BGM-Shadow the Hedgehog OST-No Way Out
Suddenly, the tower receives an unstable transmission from Captain Marvel informing them, 'We're nearing United States…attempting to…missile…'
"Carol, you're breaking up. Say again." said Cap while approaching the hologram.
Transmission switches to a more stable connection with Nova, who unfortunately tells them that, 'Attempt failed! The missile has entered the airspace and cloaked itself! Won't reveal its position until its right on top of us!'
"Then there's nothing more you can do. Get back to the city, we could use you here." Cap solemnly ordered the space warriors.
'Acknowledged. Sorry, Cap.' responded Carol before signing off.
"So what now? There's gotta be SOMETHING we can do!" Boom Knuckles asked, wondering if they have any other options that can stop the missile.
"Let's see…we can accept death by explosion, death by giant space eye, or death by alien snake." Hawkeye jokingly lists off their remaining options.
"Or, all of the above." said Ragna as he grimly crosses his arms.
Tired by all these massive converging threats, Stark shrugs, "Ah, to hell with this. I'm done babysitting." He tosses his Chaos Emerald to Steve to hold and protect before taking off to the skies outside, "Nova, Major, get ready. I'm coming to you."

Steve looks down at the jewel that contains the ultimate power, yet it might not have the power to save them all. He contemplates on their next move, thinking long and hard of something, anything, that can stop these major threats from destroying everything he holds dear. He can't think of anything, but he does hear a familiar voice from nearby.
"Seems you have run out of options."
The heroes turn around at the source of the villainous voice, and are surprised to see it came from a grinning Mister Sinister appearing in the room alongside Doctors Eggman and Octopus, as well as Princess Elise.
"Mister Sinister! And the Doctors? And…Princess Elise? What are you doing with them?" asked Steve.
"Believe it or not, Captain, they risked their lives to save me from Kang's clutches, and have come with me to help." Elise proclaimed.
"Sure you're not a clone or being mind-controlled to lower our guard?" quipped Hawkeye, remaining defensive.
Eggman angrily retorts, "Joke all you want! We wouldn't risk coming here if Kang didn't threaten us too! But we may have devised a solution that can solve most of our immediate problems…if you are willing to trust us." He claims to have a plan that might be their only hope in saving the city.
Meanwhile…
BGM-Sonic Colors Ultimate OST-Terminal Velocity Act 1 (Remix)
Another fierce battle is being waged during the final minutes New Vale City might have left. It's the Masked Maiden Cinder fending off the lightning-fast blows from a newly-reformed Team STRQ, with Summer Rose 2099 filling in for her late great-grandmother. This Summer reminds the other members a lot of the original and working quite well with them as they coordinate highly-fast, highly-powerful combos in perfect sync.
Their teamwork doesn't worry Cinder at all. In fact, she encourages it with a taunting pose and a cocky, "Come!" to goad them to continue fighting. With every blow the team throw, Cinder counters with masterful martial arts, managing to kick Raven away and deflect her sword with a malicious smile after she threw it at her. Taiyang jumps in to match Cinder's martial arts with his own, throwing fluid and dynamic flurry of elbow strikes and punches that quickly overwhelms the Maiden, infuriating her with a punch across the face, "Why you-!" right before Summer kicks her away, sharing a smile alongside her great-grandfather.
Cinder seamlessly stops herself on the ground while manifesting a large fiery spear to counter them. Team STRQ darts at her with quick ferocious blows that's wrecking the environment around them, with Summer hurling a full-force magic strike that disarms Cinder while sending her flying to a nearby rooftop, with just Summer and Qrow giving chase.
Confronting on the rooftop, Qrow transforms his sword into its scythe mode that he literally hurls like a boomerang towards the Masked Maiden. The villain easily dodges it, but that was the intent, because it would allow Summer to warp and catch it before throwing it back before adding a little extra, which is hurling her dual-kamas and multiplying them into dozens with a duplication spell taught to her by the Strange of 2099. Cinder was utterly surprised, narrowly dodging Qrow's weapon but is having trouble dodging all of Summer's kamas, with several scratching her before she let out a mighty yell alongside a destructive burst of flames that deflects the remaining kamas.
Starting to get a little exhausted by their teamwork, Cinder didn't sense Qrow blitzing her with a scythe swing that trips her, just as Raven and Tai finished knocking down a huge water tower atop of her. Cinder sees that one coming as she surrounds herself in a fire barrier before obliterating the tower, causing the sky to briefly rain, which is what Summer wanted as she uses her magic to manipulate the rain to create a huge whirling current that she exclaims as, "Aqua Tornado!" that swallows Cinder with full force. Her fire shield is out, but not Cinder herself. She furiously channels enough dark energy to free herself with a massive explosion, taking to the skies to rain down devastating fireballs that collapse the buildings the huntsmen were standing on and causing them to fall with Auras nearly depleted.
Nearby, Ozma, Oscar, and Young Salem watch their intense fight while protecting the deceased body of Ozpin from any collateral damage. Just by watching and Ozma could tell Team STRQ can't handle Cinder for long and will be overpowered soon if they don't receive backup now. "Captain, we could use some help here…" said Ozma, contacting Steve Rogers for assistance.
'Cavalry's on its way.' Steve responded.
"GRAAAAAAAAAAH!" And right on cue, the roaring rage of the Incredible Hulk leaps into the fray with a devastating punch that sends the surprised Cinder smashed into the ground. Boom Sonic speeds in with a Spin Dash that is deflected by the Masked Maiden right before dodging a simultaneous strike from new challengers, Spider-Man 2099 and Pyra, in a swift backflipping fashion.
"It pains me to say this, but I've had my fill fighting rodents. I'll leave your extermination to the missile." proclaimed the Masked Cinder before teleporting away to fight them another day, assuming they survive into the next day.

The mocking Boom Sonic chuckles, "Yeah, that's right! You better run!"
"Awwww. Look at you coming to the rescue of your darling scarlet Rose." A smirking Summer teases her stoic ex-boyfriend whilst approaching, "What a gentleman. I promise to repay you later."
Miguel scoffs with a dry, "Yeah, if we're not nuked."
Meanwhile, Pyra checks in on Ozma's group to see Ozpin's body for herself. "This man. Is he…?" The Aegis asks if he is still alive somehow, but a simple somber headshake from a close-eyed Ozma confirm otherwise, leaving Pyra depressed.
"Oz…" said Qrow, approaching his now-former friend alongside the others with a mournful expression that highlights his face, "He's not supposed to go out like this?"
Summer frowns, "No. This wasn't supposed to be his fate. History has changed too much…and none of it the better." She then looks at Salem, who long stopped crying but still silently mourns the death of her lover's counterpart. Fearing his death may turn her to the dark side just like her future counterpart, Summer ask her, "Salem…Are you doing okay? If you need anything…"
"Thank you. Your kindness and concern is appreciated." Salem calmly cut her off. The young sorceress takes a determined stand that looms over Ozpin's body, staring down at him with a clear mind that she speaks out, "You don't have to worry. I promised him that I will not allow my grief to overwhelm me. It would dishonor him. Instead, I will continue honoring his legacy as an Avenger. Starting by avenging him from those that dared to harm it."
Hulk says to her, "Good call." giving his respects to the new Avenger, who accepts it with a nodding smile.
Qrow picks up Ozpin's lifeless body, silently promising himself to give him a burial once this war is over. "We need to move. Or we're all going to share his fate." grimly said by Miguel, reminding his allies that time is of the essence and that they should hurry to help their friends fight against their impending doom.
BGM-Sonic Unleashed OST-Dark Gaia Phase 1 (Running)
Elsewhere, the Black Iblis Serpent is closer than ever reaching Avengers Tower. It's not stopping for anything but the Chaos Emerald and won't be slowed down by anyone, not even by this amazing band of heroes that have come together to prevent it from destroying them all. With a ferocious roar, Hulk 2099 hits it with a thrown car that flinches it. Lady Phoenix flies in with fireballs that don't stop it at all. Modern Sonic speeds all over the Serpent, using his new Cosmic Gloves to materialize then plant powerful bombs that he calls the Sonic Crackers across its body, yet they barely slow down the black beast.
More heroes keeping showing up to assist, such as Mayday Parker throwing in a Web Strike that she quickly realizes was a mistake before being smacked away. Sticks joins in, with her usual crazy battle cry, to throw her boomerang that pathetically didn't work before she was nearly crushed by its slithery body. Adam Taurus strikes it with a leaping slash, opening a wound that immediately patches itself up. Cosmic Ghost Rider appears on his motorcycle to whip the beast with his fiery chain, yet that wasn't totally effective either.
From a nearby rooftop, Horseman Magik incants the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak to halt the alien snake dead in its track, and of course it quickly breaks itself free through sheer fiery strength. "EMBIGGEN!" shouted Ms. Marvel as she grows incredible in size in her attempt to strangle all snaky heads of Iblis. "HOLD STILL! STOP BEING SLIPPERY-!" Suddenly Iblis ignites itself to force the girl away and back to her normal size, "HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT!"
Iblis' flames were doused by a nearby Lady Thor using her hammer to conjure a rainy storm, leaving all but its original head to be sliced off by simultaneous slashes from Narukami, Hyde, Ruby Rose, and Wolverine. Iron Man, Nova, and Archangel quickly fly in with powerful blasts that keep the beast at bay, so Lucina could impale its huge forehead eye that causes it to painfully roar, "GROOOOOOOOAAAR!"
Nearby, the Eye of Solaris finds the heroes' battle with Iblis rather amusing as it decides to focus on them in the meantime, unaware of Amazing Spider-Man and Cia about to seal it from the tallest skyscraper below it. "Now while we're under its sights!" exclaimed Cia. Both heroes materialize their respective time weapons, the Chronoblade and Scepter of Time, to their hands as they charge their energy to maximum power. Once fully charged, they combine their power to unleash it as a massive beam of energy that pokes the temporal eye in the sky and proceed to close it. But the Eye won't give up without a fight. It struggles to resist their spell whilst summoning an army of Iblis Monsters to attack them. But before any monster could land a strike, they are immediately bombarded by lasers and missiles, courtesy of White Vision and Morrigan Aensland coming to their aid.
"We will hold them off! Continue closing that rift!" said White Vision before fending off more fire monsters.
Inside Avengers Tower…
"Sam, we need Shadow, Infinite and Wanda back here now!" ordered Steve, speaking to his successor via a holo-screen with a new plan to save the day thanks to Apocalypse's Army that have come to help.
Sam nods, 'Working on it, Steve!'
Suddenly, Agent Venom senses a dark presence infiltrating the tower as he turns to find Sol Stryfe teleporting inside. "Captain! We have company!" He warns his allies.
BGM End
Steve's team get into their fighting stances, with Hawkeye immediately firing an arrow that Stryfe counters with an energy blast that they narrowly evade. "Damn it! Protect the Chaos Emerald!" Steve ordered.
BGM-Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite OST-Panic
Mister Sinister fires an energy barrage that the evil clone flies away from before Classic Sonic speeds at him with a Spin Attack, but Stryfe was quick enough to freeze him and the other heroes opposing him in time before using the hedgehog as an explosive football that scatters his enemies across the room.
Yet to his surprise, Stryfe was knocked out of the sky by a foolish hero wielding a Hover Wispon. He shoots a malicious glare at Phoenix Wright, the foolish lawyer that somehow thought it was a good idea to attack one of the strongest mutants in history from behind a couch. "YEAH! Nice shot, Nick!" exclaimed by a cheery Maya Fey hiding alongside him and Princess Elise.
"I wouldn't be cheering for my life right now…" Wright sweatdrops as he can feel his gruesome death incoming.
Before Stryfe could vaporize the powerless lot, he was confused from hearing the adorable roars of Baby Groot from behind before being tripped to his knees by his vicious vines. Doc Ock reappears, violently using his tentacles to hogtie the mutant's arms to force him vulnerable to a shield bash from Steve. The First Avenger hurls his shield that was quickly deflected, granting him a split-second using Chaos Emerald power to rush the mutant with an empowered flurry of punches and kicks that are mostly focused on his head to weaken his psychic power.
Stryfe had enough as he slows down time to free himself from his assault, countering by conjuring up several temporal clones that all focus their energy beams on the Captain. Ragna swiftly comes to his defense, deflecting the beams before using his Dead Spike technique to wipe out all but the original Chaos-Bringer, leaving him open to a bouncing assault from Cap. His shield ricochets off the walls before finally reaching Stryfe. Too bad he only struck a psychic illusion to trick them, allowing the real grinning Stryfe to surprise Ragna with a powerful elbow strike before being bashed to his knees by Cap.
Yet after that punishment, Stryfe still has more than enough strength to grin at his foe, "Your moves are as old-fashioned as your life, Captain. Just accept your limitations and expire." The Chaos-Bringer stands back up to deliver a sneaky energy blast that nearly knocks out Steve.

Even with the Chaos Emerald, Cap is no match to someone drawing immense power from the Solaris System. He struggles to stand back up with Stryfe approaching to finish him until he heard a familiar voice, "Hold it right there, asshole! This fight ain't over!" Ragna comes to Cap's defense, thrusting out his clenched right fist while calling out to a mysterious dark power that envelops his body, "Restriction 666 released. Dimensional interference field deployed…!"
"You are about to unleash an amazing power. Too bad it won't be enough to save you from death." taunted the grinning Stryfe while charging up his Sol Power.
Ragna reels back to get himself ready to unleash his full power, "BlazBluuuueee…" But he's going to be a second late as Stryfe finished charging to his max first. The Chaos-Bringer unleashes a powerful blast at the Grim Reaper and it would've been fatal, if, Apocalypse didn't suddenly show to block the attack with just a palm of his hand. "What?" Ragna stops powering up as he's too distracted from Apocalypse's surprise appearance.
"Apocalypse?" A stunned Cap commented.
BGM-Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite OST-Evil
"All of you stand back. I will punish this unruly child myself." Apocalypse chuckled, stepping up to confront his adoptive son personally, "Thought you could run away from your master? You continue to be a disappointment."
"Say that again after I BEAT YOU TO DEATH! I'll prove to you that my power reigns supreme!" retorted Sol Stryfe, furiously ready to unleash his rage on the father that abandoned him.
From his burst of fury, Stryfe summons several chaotic portals beside him that unleash a hellstorm of energy blasts all aimed at Apocalypse. The High Lord swiftly dodges them all while morphing his fist into a spiked mace that is used to brutally stun his son, rushing him with a flurry of insane blows before slamming him to the ground with a morphed arm cannon. The Scion manages to recover in time to dodge his father's eye beams, psychically throwing a large wall that Apocalypse effortlessly obliterates with a punch, but that was simply to distract him from Stryfe hiding himself with a telepathic cloak, quickly surprising him with a leaping death punch across the face that smashes him through many floors of the tower until they reached the lobby.
Apocalypse survived the attack, left winded for a bit before continuing his clash with his worthless son. Each attack they land on each other is fierce and full of destruction. Despite his vast Sol Power, Stryfe feels himself being pushed to the losing end from every deadly blow he is struck by. Both father and son decided enough was enough and threw their strongest punches at each other, initiating a struggle that shakes the entire tower all the way to the top. It appeared to be a stalemate until Apocalypse unveils a devious grin, conjuring shadow arms that surprise and grapple Stryfe from behind so his dad could catapult him back to the briefing room with a devastating uppercut. The Mutant Overlord follows him via seamless teleportation and hammers him with an energy-infused axe-handle punch, sending the Scion crashing onto the floor in critical condition.

There's no question. Stryfe has lost this fight big time. His Sol Power was unable to overcome the Celestial Power that courses through Apocalypse's veins. Left with injuries that he could barely stand on, Stryfe angrily curses at his father, "Damn you, Apocalypse…Maybe Iblis consume you all!" before retreating to recover.
"Let him go!" ordered Captain America, with Apocalypse complying as he too has no interest in chasing a weak mutant.
Apocalypse turn to exchange stern stares with the Captain. He doesn't need to read his mind to know that Sinister already relayed his plan to save the city and that Cap agreed to follow it. Exchanging silent nods, Apocalypse signals his new partner to continue with the plan, with Steve touching his earpiece to give out an order to his Avengers, "Everyone into position, NOW!"
Outside…
BGM-Marvel Future Revolution OST-The Sacrifice
This is it. Their last chance to change fate. If they fail, it's game over for New Vale City. The Black Iblis Serpent nears Avengers Tower, with only Silver around to keep it back long enough for Modern Shadow, Infinite and Scarlet Witch to go ahead of him. "HURRY!" The Psychic Hedgehog shouted at them to hurry.
Everyone from Steve's party moved to the rooftop of Avengers Tower, the staging ground for their final counterattack. From here, Apocalypse watches Iblis rampaging closer to them, Ragna stares down at the remaining alien forces making a frantic retreat in defeat, Classic Sonic notices the Solaris Eye nearly closing thanks to Spidey and Cia, and Steve spots the nuclear missile coming into view from above.
Finally, Shadow's little group made it to the rooftop. "Annoying to find myself working with you on this." Infinite voices his disdain for his hedgehog rival.
"Shut up and get into position." Shadow dryly quipped.
"Take the Chaos Emeralds!" said Cap, throwing his own for Wanda to catch as Apocalypse throws his for Shadow to hold.
Wanda and Shadow take a stand apart on the edge of the roof with Infinite floating inbetween. Before moving on, Wanda shares one last look with her friends and allies gathered around, just in case they fail, with Steve signaling a reassuring nod that tells her to proceed with the plan without hesitation.
"Let's begin." Wanda declared with a look of fearless determination.
Wielding their respective Chaos Emeralds, Wanda and Shadow begin powering themselves to the very limit. Through his Phantom Ruby, Infinite opens a massive portal above themselves to Null Space, implying that their plan involves trapping both Iblis and the nuke inside it.
From down below, while other heroes such as Mario, Beast, Summer and Nova continue to hold back Iblis, Merlina appears on a rooftop while being contacted by Captain America, 'Merlina, can you redirect-?'
"Of course, Captain." Merlina looks up at the nuclear missile diving towards the city, "I have it in hand." With her magic, the royal wizard slightly redirects the missile to target the front of Avengers Tower, towards the direction of Null Space.
With Cia, her party is pushing in their final strength to seal tight the Eye of Solaris. "Almost…" She muttered, struggling but sternly determined to prevent this city and her friends from suffering the same fate as Chronoa.
Back with Shadow's group, both he and Wanda have finished charging up their chaos energy. They combine powers to form a massive sphere of energy, infused with the ability to distort time and space that Shadow knows all too well.
"Chaos…" Shadow begins calling out the technique.
Drawn to the tremendous amount of chaos energy radiating from that rooftop, Iblis lunges right for it like a clumsy child that roars, "GRAAAAAAAAAAH!"
"CONTROOOOOLLLLL!" Wanda yells out alongside her hedgehog partner, unleashing a massive Chaos Control that engulfs Iblis in a bright blinding light before it disappears.
But then Iblis reappears, inside Null Space. It quickly spots the exit and rushes for it, only for the redirected nuclear missile to intercept it inside. "NOW!" Apocalypse shouted. In that instant, Cia's party was successful in sealing the Eye of Solaris as the nuke completely obliterates the Black Iblis Serpent, unleashing a devastatingly massive explosion that consumes most of Null Space and threatens to escape the dimension. Infinite quickly closes the rift, leaving the explosion inside his pocket dimension and New Vale City saved from total annihilation.

The people of New Vale cheer out their loudest joys to the heroes that risked their lives saving them from this alien invasion. The Eye, the Serpent, the Nuke. All have been disposed of thanks to Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Everyone celebrates, from both Modern and Boom Sonic posing with smiles alongside their respective Tails, to Team RWBY rejoicing happily with Team STRQ. Amazing Spider-Man helps an exhausted Cia to her feet before they celebrate with his fellow Web Warriors, with Mayday embracing her father with a hug that Cia finds heartwarming.
Steve Rogers and Classic Sonic stand side-by-side, with the former smiling at Classic Tails flying to happily reunite with his big bro. "And THAT'S how you free New Vale from a cross-time alien invasion." said Sonic.

"This was just a battle. There are hundreds of cities being invaded across Chrono World. Thousands of foes from across time. The war will never end, until we stop Kang." Steve responded solemnly, with him and every other hero completely oblivious to Mephiles glancing at them all from a distance for a few moments before turning to leave into the darkness.

BGM-Injustice 2 OST-Brainiac's Ship - The Menagerie
Through a viewscreen inside his flagship, Kang and his lover Ravonna have just watched their Chronos Corps fail to destroy New Vale City. Despite the triple advantages they had over them, somehow the heroes were still able to beat those frightening odds. Kang isn't surprised, not in the slightest, but Ravonna is surely left disappointed.
"Even with all of that, they still failed us. Worthless peasants." Ravonna mocked the Chronos Corps' actions.
Kang calmly responds, "Give them some credit. They were successful in compromising the world's defenses." The Time Master stands on his hoverchair to make a confident declaration that would worry any hero if they heard him say it, "Time to show Chrono World how I earned the title of Conqueror."
With a flex that causes his eyes to glow with scary power, Kang calls upon his immense armada of flying battleships. Hundreds upon hundreds of them seamlessly warp beside his flagship, with each ship bristling with guns, cannons and armies that are capable of laying waste to nearly everything in its path. This time is Kang's time to shine, having decided to end this Time War himself.

KFX Here: And this officially wraps up Act 2 with a teaser of Kang's next move. The final Act awaits, but it'll be some time before I get started on it. Gotta finish with the brainstorming and how it'll play out, ya know. I'll try to make things moving along as smoothly as possible for those that thought Act 2 might've dragged on. Regardless, I'll see everyone in Act 3: The Future Revolution Arc!
