BGM-Marvel Future Revolution OST-The Convergence
Iron Man: I'm Iron Man. But you already knew that. Took some teamwork and some luck, but we managed to save the city from the Chronos Corps' shenanigans. With our Alliance stronger than ever, we're one step closer ending his Projects!

Act 3 Issue 1: Timeless Resolve
Flame Core Zone, Future Realm. Chrono World
BGM-Sonic Rush OST-Anxiety
From a fire-filled timeline caused by Iblis' release, this volcanic wasteland pulsates with deadly lava flows and eruptions that few people dare to venture through. One of those people isn't exactly a person at all but a demonic being born from darkness. Mephiles the Dark. This malevolent spirit has made this Zone his secret base, his home, far away from both heroes and villains still fighting in this Time War. He stands atop a mountain cold and stoic, simply staring at a volcano that is seconds away from erupting. Once it does, it spews out a hail of fireballs that don't faze the demon one bit, even when some crash around him.
The volcano's eruption did make for some good cover for two other mysterious beings approaching Mephiles. Standing within the smoky shadows behind him are two ominous silhouettes: One appears to be a dark Western-based dragon with glowing purple eyes, and the other is a dimly-lit Eastern dragon with glowing silver eyes. The Dark Dragon speaks up to the demon that could care less to turn and greet his unsurprised guests, "We have returned, Lord Solaris, with a fresh batch of Dark Energy harvested from the humans."
Through his mysterious magic, the Dark Dragon transfers the energy he collected to Mephiles. This energy is tremendous, strengthening the demon's powers to new terrifying heights. Yet Mephiles doesn't show a hint of gratitude to his mysterious lackeys for a job well done. He continues staring at the volcano as if he's spacing out, with his mind nearly thinking about something else.
'This energy has made me stronger. So why is it that I suddenly feel anxious?' wondered Mephiles. While deep in thought, he reflects on events that just transpired, mainly the recent Battle of New Vale. Despite being outnumbered and outmatched by an endless army of aliens, a monstrous clone of Iblis, and a nuclear missile, the Avengers still managed to beat them all and save the day. In his dark mind he sees images of Captain America, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Young Salem, 'Heroes from the Past…' He then thinks about Amazing Spider-Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Ruby Rose, 'Heroes of the Present…' Then of Iron Man, Silver the Hedgehog, and Summer Rose, 'Heroes for the Future…What is that strange, immeasurable power? Why do they possess it, but I do not?' He spoke cryptically about some strange power the heroes have that oddly frighten him.
Suddenly Mephiles flashes back to Solaris' origins. Memories that aren't as crystal clear as he wanted because of his incomplete state. All he remembers was being a tiny flame inside an egg-shaped capsule, being experimented inside some strange Citadel, and his capsule being freed to touch the birth of a new multiverse by a mysterious, yet kind man with a smile that Remained in his dying old multiverse. 'That Old Man…He Who Created Solaris wanted to benefit the New Era with my power. Hmph. Foolish. The only thing humans can ever learn is death and destruction upon themselves and the cosmos. I made the mistake of being indifferent to their existence in the beginning. The future of the universe will shine forever bright after it is purged of mortal pest. My utopia is nearly complete. The Day of Disaster approaches.' Mephiles darkly chuckles, 'Humans, sit back and await your judgment. But first…'
Mephiles finally turns around to face his draconic guests with a stern stare. "You two…" He said, earning their formal attention as they bow to their lord and master, "What are your opinions on the humans?"
The Dark Dragon maliciously smiles, "They're merely playthings that never gave me much respect. Though their limits are interesting and I admired their adaptability."
Next to answer is his sibling, the Light Dragon as he wisely says, "I empathize with them, yet I find them odd. They think order and chaos are somehow opposites. Try to control what cannot be. It pains me whenever one doesn't value the balance between life and death."
Mephiles keeps a mental note of their answers at the back of his mind before giving them another order, "And their strength. Tell me the source of their strength."
"Is it not magic?" The confused Dark Dragon responded.
"In your former world, idiot. Magic isn't their greatest strength. Instead you place them with that limit until they were reborn with Semblances and science that slightly furthered their potential." Mephiles claimed, implying that he is talking about the World of Remnant.
"Exterminating them made them stronger? Annoying." The Dark Dragon grunted.
Mephiles says, "Their world never bothered me. It was the world before and after that troubled me."
"Mobius and Earth." Light Dragon calmly knew right away.
"Earth especially." Mephiles said, recalling his knowledge of Earth's origins, "Even before the Convergence, that world exist in the center of the multiverse. A disgusting cesspool of super-powered abnormalities thanks to a Celestial that decided to die on their primal rock. Not just magic, that world gave birth to metahumans, mutants and super-geniuses with limitless potential that have overcome many obstacles that would've meant the destruction of their planet long ago."
"The best example to express their potential are the Avengers. Each of us have witnessed their power in action and have been surprised to watch them break through their natural limits to perform impossible feats." Light Dragon commented.
"Bah! Those mortals are only strong because the Asgardian wants to play their games. Why would a god lower himself to their standards? What does he see in them that we three Gods don't?" Dark Dragon retorted, subtly revealing the dragon brothers' true identities.
"I'm unsure myself. Perhaps it is their resolve? Their will alone to alter destiny to their likening-?" wondered the Light Dragon. Suddenly the elder dragon was brutally blasted to the ground by the furious eye beams of Mephiles. He tortures him for a little bit, calmly ignoring his screams of intense agony, "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" that frightens his little brother until the torture session was decided to be over.
"Are you implying that their spirit can overcome ME?" Mephiles demanded an answer from the tortured dragon with calm rage tainting his voice.
"N-No…I was simply pondering, My Lord…" replied the weakened Light Dragon.
"I may have suffered setbacks, but that doesn't mean they have ever beaten me. Etch this into your skull. BOTH of you." said Mephiles, addressing both dragons like a stern father to his idiotic children, "There is no human spirit stronger than the will of the gods, and my will is the strongest and absolute and must be obeyed at all times!" He starts speaking with a disdained tone, "Lower gods like the Celestials believe humanity to be beautiful. The ultimate cure when they are simply their vomit. Humanity is out of control, only strong because they are barbaric enough to challenge fate in the name of 'good' or 'evil', when those are simply concepts they created to justify their actions. They LIVE to kill! Staining existence with each other's blood! THREATENING existence with their insatiable hunger for violence!"
"So creating the humans on that world was a sin?" asked the Light Dragon, falling for Mephiles' corruptive words.
"The worst kind. They were experimental fodder meant to be toyed towards destruction until the Avengers intervened with the timeline." Mephiles answered, "I have witnessed these humans swing their fist at gods and triumph. You two would've fell to that same woman that once led a rebellion against you if I didn't pluck you out of that split moment in history. There will be no peace unless Solaris is reborn. There will be no paradise unless mortals have been expunged. I will not be satisfied until all become one with the flames." He expressed through sheer maliciousness, eagerly waiting the day he becomes whole again and punish all that dared to defy Sun God Solaris.

Avengers Tower, Alien Realm
A few hours have passed since New Vale City was saved from a massive alien invasion. Though that threat has been neutralized, Kang and his Chronos Corps remain at large and won't be long until they strike again with a force stronger than the last. The only way to combat such a force is for the Avengers to become stronger as well.
"Be completely honest: How awesome is my new Advanced Tech? Good opinions only."
BGM-BlazBlue OST-Lakeside
Ever since he became aware of this Time War, Tony Stark and his fellow scientists have been building suits and weapons for their friends, old and new, in this transdimensional alliance. Those interested in some sweet new upgrades came to the lab to try them out, such as Miles Morales equipping himself with his sleek Advanced Tech Suit and the more powerful Starktech Web-Shooters, Team RWBY wearing stylized Power Armor and wielding ISO-Infused versions of their standard weaponry, Modern Amy and her powerful Long Hammer as well as a new Warrior Feather attached to her hairband, and Mario wielding an arm Blaster based on an adventure of him teaming up with hyperactive rabbits.
"It's a little much, but I kinda like it." commented Weiss.
"Wrong opinion, Weiss. You're supposed to say they're SUPER AWESOME!" Ruby fangirls over her new upgrades.
Tony smiles, "They certainly are. Not only they enhance your natural abilities exponentially, but can also adapt and empower yourself with spacetime properties that make it far easier to counter those imbued with Solaris Energy."
"We've also taken the liberty basing your specific upgrades to a Tribe from the lost Chronoa Kingdom for maximum effectiveness, meaning skillful fighters are tailored to the Mira Tribe, geniuses to the Kako, and sorcerers to Tempus." said Modern Tails, adding extra detail about their new upgrades.
"Thanks for the new tech. It'll make embarrassing Kang much sweeter." quipped Hawkeye, equipping with new trick arrows.
"On your own you'll still be crushed. But as a team we'll REALLY be able to dish out damage." Boom Tails approached the archer with that casual snark.
"True enough." Barton grinned.
Nearby, Hyde Kido swings around his upgraded Insulator a few times to get a good feel of the ISO-8 empowering it, "This ISO-8 stuff feels good. Can't wait to test it out in the training room."
"Assuming it isn't wrecked like everything else in the tower." quipped Myrtha.
"That's not true. Wi-Fi still works." Miles snarked.
"What's that?" The confused Myrtha asked.
"You don't have internet in your world?" asked Hyde.
"Not that I know or care to pay attention to." Myrtha snarked at the boys.
"You're missing out." quipped Miles.
Also in the lab is Ragna having his right arm being tinkered by Beast. The man and mutant sit by a table, with the former just sitting there being bored out of his mind while barely paying attention to what the scientist is doing to his BlazBlue. "Hey, not to rush you, Doc, but are you done poking my arm? It's been itchy." asked Ragna.
"Sorry. Just bear with me a few more seconds, my boy. I'm nearly done infusing this augmented ISO-8 to your Azure Grimoire that'll not only boost your natural abilities but also usage of the Grimoire will be far less taxing on your body." said Beast, about done upgrading the Azure Grimoire, "There! You're all set!" He smiled proudly while Ragna stands to check out his upgraded arm, "Remind me to also make an appointment with Professor Kokonoe to exchange notes. Her Idea Engine is state of the art and I want to share with her my recommendations on how to improve their design."
Ragna grins, "Sure. Gotta pay you back for upgrading my gear. You Avengers have been alright."
"And for an alleged criminal we thank you for your continuous assistance in this time debacle." smiles Beast, placing a gentle, kind hand on the Reaper's shoulder, "You have a good heart, Ragna. Let's continue making each other proud."
"Yeah." nodded Ragna.
"I can't believe this!" That annoyed line came from Modern Eggman nearby. Much to his ultimate displeasure, he finds himself in a conversation with the Sonic the Hedgehog from the Classic and Boom timelines respectively and is hating every second of it. "It's bad enough I'm forced to work with MY Sonic, but TWO of his variants as well!? The mere thought is insufferable!"
"Lose some weight if hanging with us is making you squeamish. My Eggman is SLIGHTLY less fat." quipped Boom Sonic.
"And just as infuriated by your antics!" Eggman retorted.
"Ignore the fools, Ivo. We have more important work that needs our attention." said Doctor Octopus from a computer console nearby.
Eggman leaves the twin hedgehogs with a grumble before heading back to join his fellow scientist with data input and analysis for a certain purpose that got Classic Sonic curious. "So what're you Docs working on anyway?" asked the young Sonic.
"Apocalypse wants us to compile all our research on Time Eater to study a way it can be used against the Chronos Corps. As I'm sure you're aware by now, the Time Eater was another incarnation of Solaris. In the worst-case scenario, we must devise a weapon that could defeat him." Otto replied calmly.
Eggman responds, "Let's hope it doesn't come to his resurrection. Kang means to surpass our work in every way. If he succeeds, his Solaris will be more powerful than any of its previous incarnations. Solaris was already born as a super-dimensional lifeform with unfathomable power over time and space. Kang intends to use that power to become a new God of Time, to fully unlock the timestream and conquer history in the worst possible fashion."
"Yeah… Let's hope it doesn't come to that." commented Boom Sonic with a grim expression.

Elsewhere in the Tower…
"Heading back already huh?" asked Modern Sonic.
He and Princess Elise are hanging out in the living room waiting for someone to come and escort the princess back to Solkaria, or what's left of it after it was attacked by the Chronos Corps. "Have no choice." Elise nodded, "No doubt my people have been worried sick about me ever since I was kidnapped. And I want to see for myself how damaged Solkaria is before coming up with restoration plans." She smiles, "It was brief, but I had fun being with you. Reminded me of the old times."
"Old times…" said the confused Sonic, before his expression went from confused to realized somber, "Oh. So you DID regain your memories."
"Yes." Elise nodded, solemnly revealing she has regained her memories of the Lost Timeline.
BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-Just Smile
Sonic takes a pause to frown and lower his head with guilt, still feeling responsible for everything that has happened to his princess friend and wonders if their friendship will cause another catastrophe. "…Sorry you gotten involved with Solaris again." He said depressingly, and continues to sound like that, "I know his power caused you so much misery, both in that Other timeline and this one. This just isn't right. Fate keeps bringing us together. And whenever we're together, disaster strikes. If this keeps up, then…"
"Don't think like that! Where's the Sonic that always told me that, 'If I have time to worry, then run'?" retorted Elise with such a serious demeanor that it snapped the hedgehog out of his guilt trip. The Solkarian Princess kneels down to Sonic's level and softly places her hands on his shoulder to give him some kind advice, "Sonic, don't think of our friendship as a curse. It's true it was manipulated to revive Solaris, and it's true he has the power to control our fates. But he can't control our hearts. It was our feelings for each other that reconnected us in this new history. We share a bond that transcends time itself, one that can't be tampered with for selfish gain. Sonic, what are you fighting for?"
"What am I fighting for…?" Sonic reacts to that question with stunned confusion.
Elise continues, "Even when things look the darkest, when all hope seems lost, you must remember your resolve and find the strength within to see it through. I fight to protect the Kingdom of Solkaria. Though I failed to protect it last time, that doesn't mean I'll give up. I'll keep fighting until my people are safe." She stands back up with a warm smile at the hedgehog, "Sonic…Believe in yourself, as everyone believes in you. Don't let the past bother you. Instead, use it to strengthen your resolve. Through a combination of that, our bonds, and a smiling face can the meaning of our destinies can be changed for the better."
Despite feeling equally responsible for Solaris' actions, Elise remains strong and determined to protect the people she loves from that menace. Sonic takes a silent note of her confident attitude and process her words of encouragement. At first he's a little confused, but then, a smile forms on his muzzle before shifting to a more relaxed smirk, "…May be right. You've grown to a fine princess. Sure your dad would be proud." He said, feeling a lot better thanks to Elise.

The Princess smiles and shares a quick hug with Sonic before noticing familiar guests approaching. It's Winter Schnee leading a squadron of Solkarian Soldiers, all of them assigned to bring Elise back home safe and sound. The moment she spotted Elise, Winter's typical cold demeanor briefly goes soft and relived to see her alive, "Miss Elise. Good to see you unharmed. Your people have been worried sick about you since the fall of Solkaria."
"I'm happy to see you're okay, Winter. Can't thank you and Silvija enough for keeping them safe while I was away." Elise smiles while joining her bodyguard's side.
"We're just doing our job." Winter stoically replied.
Before leaving, Elise has one last thing to say to Sonic, "I'll see you later."
"Have a safe trip. Winter, I'm counting on ya to keep a close eye on her for me." Sonic grinned.
"That's what I've been ordered to do." quipped Winter, before giving the hedgehog a small smile of gratitude, "Good luck on your missions, Sonic. And thanks for your help. Give my regards to my sister and niece."
Sonic responds with a smiling thumbs-up, "Will do! Take care, girls!" before seeing them off back to Solkaria.
In the Infirmary Room…
Amazing Spider-Man stands alone with the body of Professor Ozpin lying lifeless on a bed, mourning the recent loss of his teacher. Ozpin gave his life to protect his friends. He wouldn't have to do that if Peter just arrived moments earlier, that's what the webhead thought. Even with all his power, even with his new Spider-Celestial Suit, it was simply not enough to beat the clock. Both depressed and furious of his sacrifice, the webslinger tightens his fists while staring at the corpse with eyes burning with guilt.
Suddenly a knocking on the door was heard, which opens for Ruby as she politely walks in to greet her brother-in-law, "Peter. Knew you were in here."
"Hey Rubes. Liking the new suit." Peter complimented.
"Thanks. Just wish I gotten it sooner before…" Ruby couldn't finish, as she's too busy frowning at the dead body of her former Headmaster.
"Yeah…I know how you feel." Peter replied somberly.
"Still can't believe he's gone. Like, REALLY gone. It shouldn't be possible to destroy souls." said Ruby.
"Not unless you're the Devil, which is exactly what Mephiles is." Peter scowled, with feelings of calm fury at the demon for killing their teacher.
BGM-BlazBlue OST-re: stung
Ruby's demeanor suddenly shifts to comfort the depressed webslinger with soft, determined words like, "We'll avenge him, Peter. We owe it to everyone that monster killed, especially Ozpin. You remember what he did for us on that day? He accepted us into Beacon when we were just a couple of nobodies that wanted to do good. He saw our potential and helped us grow, so WE can be the protectors of the world whenever he's not around."
Peter replies, "I remember. He gave me a home when I was stuck on your world. Taught me to push past my insecurities, my fears of being in a team. There were times when I was angry at him, but most of the time 'cause I sympathized what he was going through. We were alike in many ways. Even when I brought a menace to his world, he helped me defeat it. Both him and Ironwood…He was more than my teacher. He was my friend…And I was too late to save him. Either of them!"
"Peter…" Ruby shoots him a concerned stare.
"This is all my fault."
"It's not."
"I KNOW, but…What IF my parents weren't involved in Project PEGASUS? None of this wouldn't be happening!" Peter retorted, feeling really frustrated at himself.
"This was happening long BEFORE your parents joined PEGASUS. If they didn't join, everyone would've died 20 years ago!" Ruby argued with him.
"That might happen regardless. Kang has the Time Factor, both Iblis and Mephiles, and nearly all the Chaos Emeralds. Time is clearly on his side, not ours." refuted Peter, starting to feel hopeless that they can't win this Time War.
BGM End
"But this also isn't the time to feel hopeless. Ozpin wouldn't want you to. Take it from me." said a recognizable young farmboy.
Both the Spider and Huntress turn to find Oscar has entered the room alongside Young Salem to join in the discussion. "Oscar. And Salem. I am truly sorry for your loss." Peter apologized.
Salem smiles, "Appreciated, but unnecessary. The only one at fault for his death is Mephiles, or should I say Solaris. Feels like he's been messing with our fates since the day we were born, all to lead to this."
BGM-BlazBlue OST-Premonition
"What do you mean?" questioned Ruby.
"Mephiles hinted as much during our last fight." Oscar answered, "At the very least, Remnant was under Solaris' influence for a long time until his connection was suddenly severed. His ultimate goal is to erase existence. And to ensure he sees his mission through, he developed contingencies in case he was ever defeated."
Salem adds, "In his case, it's altering time. Manipulating mortals and gods alike, messing with their fates to be used as his unknowing pawns, all to lead to his resurrection in another timeline. He did the same to Silver once. And was the same said for Time Eater?"
"Eggman and Ock stumbled upon him while floating in space…" said Peter, but he suddenly ponders on his own words and thinks really hard about what Salem said about the Sun God's sneaky schemes, "Thinking about it…That COULDN'T have been a coincidence?" He questioned, implying that Solaris sought out the doctors so he could use them to destroy time.
"That further supports our theory. Our histories are his stepping stones to destroy them all. We CAN'T allow him to succeed!" Oscar firmly declared.
With renewed hope, Spidey palms his fist with a determined, "Which means we can't give up! Yeah. Thanks for the pep talk. Feeling much better. Now would you be so kind to erase my absences from my permanent record? You ARE Ozpin, just from another timeline, and small. Surely you know his passwords."
"Care to tell me your secret identity?" quipped Oscar.
"You're a teacher. Respect your student's privacy." Peter snarks back, which gets a laugh from his friends.
BGM End
Meanwhile, in the Conference Room…
"This is rather ironic, considering our last encounter."
A smiling Apocalypse gives mocking words to his newest partner against Kang, the Time Sorceress Cia, and she absolutely despises them and his existence while shooting him a death glare. Her, Blake, and Silver are not too happy with this new alliance with the Mutant Overlord considering the atrocities he has brought upon them, some on a very personal level. Steve Rogers, Scarlet Witch, Ozma, and Modern Shadow the Hedgehog all stand indifferent, waiting for the chance to snuff out his true motives before ultimately deciding this new partnership.
"If memory serves, you were desperately attempting to kill me." Apocalypse continues to mock the Chronoan.
"That option very much remains in play." retorted Cia, saying those threatening words right up at his disgusting face.
"I would expect nothing less from a Chronoan. However, we have more important matters to settle: Defeating our mutant enemy, Kang the Conqueror." Apocalypse announced.
"Your armies have been faring well against him. Why come to us, and why now?" asked the suspicious Steve.
"I just couldn't sit around and let the Hedgehogs die in that timeless void." quips Apocalypse, giving a glance that annoys both the Black and White Hedgehogs, "Those three are the only ones that has the power and strength to defeat the fires of Solaris and banish the living flame forever."
"Then I guess we don't need you." Silver snarked.
"On the contrary. Would you like to contend with both me AND Kang?" asked Apocalypse, which was enough to shut up the annoyed psychic, "I've noticed you've been struggling against his forces, even with the alliances you made with heroes from other timelines. If it wasn't for me and my Chaos Emerald, you and this city would've been destroyed. Avengers, our past alliances no longer matter, not while Solaris is on the cusp of resurrection."
Hearing his words about abandoning past relationships, past aggressions, instantly ignites Cia's anger as she furiously cracks a nearby wall with just a fist, "The past ALWAYS matters!"
"So before you were hinting to a truce between our groups. How long do you expect us to believe that will last?" asked Ozma.
"Only as long as is mutually beneficial." Apocalypse answered.
"And, when our shared mission is complete?" Steve asked this next question.
"I will conquer the world, my way." Apocalypse coldly replied.
BGM-Mega Man X8 OST- Demo - Deepening Mystery
"Brutal honesty from the living Apocalypse." Wanda quipped.
"Aligning with the lesser of two evils is still siding with evil." glared Blake, still calmly furious from being forced into becoming one of Apocalypse's merciless Horsemen in the past.
"Do you think you've witnessed the FULL strength of Kang?" Apocalypse gives them a good question to ponder on as he talks, "All this time he's been using his lackeys and their armies to weaken you for the real fight. It won't be long until he summons his own army to finish the job while he secures the remaining Nexus of Knowledge."
"What's that?" Steve asked.
Shadow answers, "Special data he requires to have full control over Solaris. Kang gloated as much to Sonic and Spider-Man."
"Between his Solaris System and his transdimensional army, Kang has MORE than enough resources to unleash utter devastation upon this and ANY world in ANY timeline." coldly stated by the living Apocalypse himself.
"Like your quest for power destroyed Chronoa!?" Cia furiously retorted.
"MAKE no mistake! This time there WILL be a kingdom left for me to conquer, one WITHOUT a Sun God to get in my way!" Apocalypse snaps back at her with the same attitude.
Wanda says, "So to defeat Kang we either find and secure these 'Nexus of Knowledge' before him, seal away Mephiles which I believe I found the perfect spell to do so, or, take the fight to Kang directly."
"Each plan is just as difficult as the other." Steve noted.
BGM End
"Then it'd be better we work together to tackle all three!"
All eyes are suddenly turned to the one-eyed Nick Fury announcing his surprise presence as he enters the room to settle this dispute. "Nick…" Cia softly mutters his name.
"Didn't you blow up?" The surprised Silver recalled.
"Life-Model Decoy." Fury quipped out his answer on how he survived the recent attack on Avengers Tower, "If we're going to survive this, we NEED to stick together. Like each other or not, we're ALL enemies to Kang. Might as well take advantage of that."
Begrudgingly at the orders of her friend, Cia relents and accepts this alliance with Apocalypse as she scowlingly crosses her arms at the tyrant, "…Fine. But I'm keeping my eye on you."
BGM-Mega Man X8 OST- Demo – Perplexity
Then out of nowhere, the tower's alarms blare like crazy. Nearly every room housing a hero hears it while in the middle of something and wonders just what the heck is happening that is causing the alarms to go crazy like this.
"What NOW?" asked by the annoyed Cia, as JARVIS was kind enough to project several screens displaying cities and timespaces that are under threat by a mysterious force.
"I did warn you Kang would attack at any minute, and it would seem he is NOT holding back." Apocalypse noted grimly while watching a screen displaying an invasion force unlike any other.

Outside…
BGM-BlazBlue OST-Audience
Across major cities in Chrono World, a fleet of Time Ships seamlessly warp to their airspace through their mysterious technology. They each launch strange yellow pods that explode upon impact, causing massive damage to wherever they crashed. These pods erupt from their crash sites, morphing themselves into their frightening, massive, four-legged Scarab Fighter modes that use their deadly claws to destroy everything, and everyone, in their path.
China. Egyptia. London. Cities like Kagutsuchi from different dimensions are under attack by this unstoppable invasion force led by the menacing Kang the Conqueror. He watches his forces conquer cities from the comfort of his flagship, smiling whenever a city falls by his mighty hand, joyfully reminding him of the conquest of his home reality, 'I have conquered millions of worlds for their technology. Timelines, like 41st Century Earth, before I became the dominant power in that galaxy. Even other galactic empires began to fear my might. I was…unstoppable. Yet my hunger is insatiable. A reason why I constructed this timespace rift, to have their mightiest rise up, step forth and face me. For then, I shall prove that I am the greatest.' His curious attention is then turned to screens depicting heroes and villains from across time and space. Heroes from the Freedom Fighters and X-Men, and villains like Doctor Doom and the Deadly Six fighting their own battles against Kang's immensely powerful army, 'Chrono World continues to defy me. Heroes and villains alike stand against me. Its champions smash my minions and crush my allies. But this is of little concern. But now…it ends. For now I, in turn, will take their own deadliest technology and use it against them.' He projects a mini-hologram of a Stark Industries building in the palm of his hand, implying his frightening plans for Starktech, 'For no technology can withstand…Kang the Conqueror.'
