Armored City, Future Realm. Chrono World

BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST-3 Black Noises (Revival)

Kang has launched his boldest move yet. Invading every corner of his own Chrono World with his deadliest aerial armada. Hundreds of battleships fly over many cities, unleashing their mightiest soldiers from across time to cause havoc, destruction, and despair all at once. One such city is Armored City, the most technologically advanced capital of the House of Iron that was torn away from Battleworld just so it can be conquered by the malevolent Kang. But the House of Iron won't go down without a fight. Led by its armored CEO, Stark Prime, its champions outfitted in their own Iron Man armors are impressively holding their own against the invaders by simply showing off their superior tech.

'Like I told my two former prisoners, a Nexus of Knowledge is the universal embodiment that represents that class.' Kang began narrating, 'You can't create a world without knowing what to create. You can't improve upon a world without prior knowledge. Data is everything, running around in many different forms in many alternate realities. Technology has such a nexus here on Chrono World. Its CEO calls it…Armored City. Conquer it, and I take the first step in controlling the God Flame.'

Suddenly, amidst this massive battle against Kang's Army, something frightening happens to the Iron Legionnaires. One minute a Legionnaire was fighting the enemy, the next minute they fight beside the enemy, turning against their fellow champions. It wasn't consciously as something has infected their Stark-Suit. A virus, one that's spreading throughout the Legionnaires and the defense system of the city fast, causing everything to spiral out of the control of Stark Prime who is left utterly surprised by this turn of events. He quickly figures a virus is the cause of this and hurries to the warehouse housing the E.D.I.T.H. Mainframe, his AI that has access to the entire Stark Network that also has backdoor access to all other major telecommunication networks, to fix the problem.

'One by one, I will assimilate Chrono World's network of technology, cosmic, and magic powers.' Kang continues narrating, just as Stark Prime enters the warehouse to immediately interact with the computer system to stop the virus from spreading. 'Then, the universe will be mine.' Stark's efforts are quickly in vain as he realizes someone is using the virus to download all his data of the Stark Network, 'And all will be ruled under…Kang.' finished by the Conqueror, as his villainous face begins materializing in the screens before the horrified look of Stark Prime.

Avengers Tower, Alien Realm

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Planet in Peril

"We have no time to waste, Avengers!"

Wasp takes command of mission control to direct nearly their entire Alliance against the invaders from the command center of the tower. Holo-Screens are displayed with live footage of each heroic faction fighting bravely in major areas across Chrono World. From the Knights of the Round Table, to the Sol Empire. GUN. Liberty Legion. Solkarian Military. The Warbound. Asgardians. Each group work seamlessly with several Avengers to stop the forces of Kang from conquering the planet.

"Kang's forces are hitting tactical targets across every major city in Chrono World." Wasp said to her allies, "Avengers, your top priority is evacuating those cities! Leave the fleet to our allies' military! Speaking of, status report!"

One screen enlarges for Blaze the Cat of the Sol Empire, 'My forces are holding their own in Night Carnival Zone. Our enemy's firepower is extreme, and their large robots are capable of regeneration.'

Another screen enlarges, this one for Winter Schnee of the Solkarian Military, 'Reporting in from Mistral. Conventional weaponry isn't making a dent on their fleet.'

Next one is Warlord Skaar of the Warbound, 'Skaar having fun smashing puny enemies in Lagos!'

This last one is a neat surprise. It's Iron Tager, the devilish cybernetic soldier from Ragna's world, of Sector Seven, 'This is Tager reporting. Enemy forces have been crushed in Sydney, Australia.'

"You sure know how to impress." quipped Wasp.

"Wasp!" exclaimed by a frantic Modern Amy nearby, being her second-in-command in keeping everyone organized and informed, "This just came in! Several more cities have fallen! Even more are surrendering! If we're going to turn this around, we don't have much time!"

"You hear that, Tony?!" Wasp snaps to a screen displaying Iron Man working in his lab alongside the three Tails and Mister Sinister, "Any luck in cracking Kang's shields?"

'We're finally making progress but it'll take more time! His shields keep shifting frequencies! I'm gonna send Spectrum to collect more data!' said Tony.

"Make it fast!" Wasp ordered.

Suddenly, Amy is confronted by a holo-screen covered in irritating static, "Huh?"

"What is it?" asked Wasp.

"Just received a distress call from Armored City. It's weak, and getting weaker. Gonna try to strengthen the connection." Amy tries her best to strengthen the connection between Avengers Tower and Armored City and succeeds, partially getting in contact with Stark Prime, "Stark Prime! This is Avengers Tower, come in! What's your status?!"

'Virus…Network…Nexus…' The connection was still very weak and constantly breaking up before Stark Prime's signal just vanished. All that remained in his place was static.

"Stark?! STARK! What happened?! Come in!" Amy frantically worried about the AI Superhero's current status.

'I'm here.' quipped the human Tony Stark appearing on screen.

"Not you!" Amy retorted, "Just lost contact with the AI Stark, but he did leave us some data! JARVIS, can you go over it? Sounded like the House of Iron is in real danger."

'At once, Miss Rose.' said JARVIS. After a quick moment analyzing the data sent by Stark Prime, the AI Butler informs everyone of what he learned, 'It would appear the Sigma Virus has infected the Stark Network and spreading at a consistent rate, causing the technology of Armored City to turn against itself. Once the virus fully spreads, our enemy will have full control of military and civilian systems across the world, and within the nature of this timespace, across time.'

Tony comments, 'My Network must be one of the "Nexus" Kang's looking for. Would be flattered if he wasn't pinning this mess on Stark Industries.'

"I'll contact Liberty Legion to send a team to Armored City right away." said Amy.

'Good. That'll buy me enough time to whip up an antivirus program using the data AI Me sent. I'll join the team the second it's done.' Tony replied.

Amy nods, "Roger."

Later at Armored City…

Just from a single virus, nearly all of Armored City has succumbed to Kang's control. Only a handful of Iron Legionnaires survived and doing everything they can to fight their oppressors while resisting the Sigma Virus. A single Silver Centurion fights his hardest against foes and corrupted friends with drones and a barrage of missiles, pushing them back before receiving surprise help from a fellow Legionnaire clad in War Machine Armor that annihilates several fighter drones.

"Doing okay, Harry?" The War Machine asked his pal.

"For now." Silver Centurion replied, continuing to fight alongside his teammate against the flying enemy horde, "Armor's doing its best to block the virus, but won't last. Where's Mr. Stark?"

"Virus got him. We're on our own 'til reinforcements show up." War Machine responded.

"And when's that?" quipped the Centurion.

BGM-Mega Man X4 OST-Opening Stage (X)

Suddenly the enemy horde that nearly overwhelmed the duo was vanquished by the arrival of a fleet of Liberty Legion battleships boasting American-colored, spaceship-like designs bristling with laser guns that even the odds against Kang's forces. "About now is good." snarked War Machine.

One of the soldiers taking charge of this counterattack is Peggy Carter standing strong in her flagship. She eyes every holo-screen with serious glances, analyzing all the battles happening outside her windows to form up the best strategies to settle them swift and efficient. "Create a perimeter! Don't let any of those infected armored hooligans escape this zone! Our top priority is to liberate this city from the enemy! We must buy our science team enough time to do the job!" Peggy orders around her army.

Her fleet is quickly under assault by Kang's forces, including the infected Iron Legionnaires giving her army a rough time with their advanced tech. But there's no tech that can overcome the breathtaking skills between teammates, such as the high-flying team led by Captain Sharon Rogers: Spider-Man 2099 overwhelms Legionnaires with light-speed web-strikes. Silver the Hedgehog reflects enemy attacks with powerful psychokinesis. Archangel shatters aerial drones with razor-sharp feathers. And Weiss Schnee blasts everything she deems a threat while riding her summoned Manticore.

Sharon was busy piloting her Quinjet in this aerial warzone, destroying fighter jets and knocking down Legionnaires with her weaponry while communicating with her mother, 'Stark Prime has been spotted in the vicinity. We can confirm he has been infected with the Sigma Virus. We're running out of time. Your time have to get to Stark and shut down this assault.'

"Affirmative. We're on it!" replied Sharon.

Down below, on the streets of the highly advanced city, another elite unit was placed in charge of an important mission but ran into minor trouble in the form of Kang's massive army. That army didn't matter to Classic Sonic piercing through their robots with a single Spin Dash, Black Widow throwing a pair of stun grenades that leave enemies caught in the explosions vulnerable, vulnerable to Ragna the Bloodedge massacring them with his blade, and Zero slicing a single Scarab Fighter with only his fiery Ryuenjin technique.

"Carter! Where'd you say Sigma's headed?" asked Zero, having learned his arch-enemy is in charge of this assault.

Peggy sassily replies, 'Extremis City. Once a workshop for nanotechnology that has been corrupted by the Extremis project. It's likely Sigma wants to continue with that failure and make his Virus even MORE annoying than it already is.'

"I hear that. On our way now to intervene." said Zero as he leads his team to the workshop.

"Try not to fall behind as usual, Rags." Sonic teases the reaper.

"YOU'RE always the one running ahead of everyone!" Ragna angrily retorted.

Back high in the sky, Sharon finally spots her target: A corrupted Stark Prime wreaking havoc on her forces' aerial fleet. Wearing the most advanced armor out of everyone in his Iron Legion, Stark poses the most dangerous threat to the Liberty Legion if he is not stopped soon. "Spotted Stark. About to get his attention. Team, be ready to back me up!" Sharon orders her team.

Through the rapid laserfire of her Quinjet's weaponry, Sharon quickly earns Stark's attention away from her forces while doing considerable damage to his back. "Confront me at your own risk. I will destroy you." Stark Prime speaks very robotically, now that the Sigma Virus has taken hold of his programming.

Locked onto the Quinjet, Stark launches a barrage of homing missiles that forces Sharon to flee. "Now! Blitz him!" Sharon exclaimed to her teammates.

Swiftly, Archangel strikes the armored leader with a deadly flying kick, sending him flying towards Silver who uppercuts him with a psychic energy fist. Spider-Man web-zips onto Stark's chest and proceeds to pummel him with a relentless flurry of punches, "Hold still, Stark! Need to pummel you enough to shut down your armor!" Before Miguel could claw into his Arc Reactor, Stark knocks him off with a Unibeam that nearly blasts his arm off. The Iron Baron then strikes Miguel hard with dashing hammer-shaped energy and nearly slices him with an energy blade if the webslinger didn't counter with an Accelerated Decoy, web-throwing him towards Silver so he may be psychically held in place long enough for Sharon to come in with a barrage of lasers and missiles. The assault would've landed, if Stark didn't access a tactical satellite to fire an ion cannon that blasts Silver away, freeing him from his psychic grasp before avoiding Sharon's firepower.

A nearly unconscious Silver plummets from the sky and would've crashed to his death if Weiss didn't come to catch him on her Manticore. "Thanks for the save…What hit me?" asked Silver.

"A tactical satellite." Weiss answered.

"Are you kidding?! Why would he have that?!" The surprised Silver shouted.

"It's Stark. What did you expect?" quipped Weiss. The huntress looks back at Stark Prime and notices him going toe-to-toe with both Archangel and Spider-Man, countering the former's razor feathers with repulsors while doing his best dodging the latter's web-strikes. Noting he's having a hard time keeping up with Spidey's speed, Weiss smiles up a plan she has to take him down. "Got it. Spider-Man!" She shouted to get his attention for, "Accelerated Spider!"

Miguel nods an approval for their combo before backflipping to a glyph she just made for him. He bounces off it at light-speed to blitz Stark, and that was just the start as Weiss surrounds the stunned AI with glyphs for the future web-warrior to bounce off repeatedly, striking him with several claw slashes followed by Decoys ensnaring him in a series of webs. The finishing blow is delivered by a foot-stomp from Spider-Man, powerful enough to send Stark crashing into the streets from high in the sky in mere seconds.

Miguel lands beside the now-defeated Stark Prime to look at his systems shutting down. "That should reboot you back to common sense." He quipped, hoping this defeat would purge him of the Sigma Virus. Speaking of Stark, Miguel hears the loud sound of a sonic beam and turns to focus on the source with his Accelerated Vision, allowing him to spot Avenger Iron Man finally joining the party. "One Stark down, the other one finally shows up. Finished that antivirus?" He asked the armored avenger.

"Wouldn't be here if it wasn't." quipped Tony. "Chances of it working would improve greatly if Sigma's destroyed. How's it coming with that?"

BGM-Mega Man X5 OST-Boss Theme

Right after that was said, a large explosion hits the Extremis City district that pushes back Zero's group. "Working on it!" Ragna retorted.

The explosion was caused by the Maverick King himself, Sigma, walking out of it with a demonic smile to confront his enemies. "Are you talking to Stark?" asked Sigma, dematerializing his energy cape to manifest his Sol Aura, "Tell him that his technology has left quite the impression on me. It rivals that, no, SURPASSES even that of Abel City. Quite the achievement for a human." He says this before firing missiles from his fingers that can bounce off of floors, some deflected by Ragna to give Zero an opening to dash and clash energy blades with his former commander.

"Must've been left really impressed to come and steal Extremis." quipped Zero.

"More like perfect it. My Virus will do his wonders." grinned Sigma.

But with the Maverick distracted, Black Widow latches onto the back of his neck to snark, "Can't perfect it if you can't see it!" before stabbing his eye with her electric baton, pouring so much painful electricity that he lets out a mighty yell while being electrocuted.

While being electrocuted, Sigma manages to warp away from her grasp, appearing from behind to strike her away with his blade. He prepares his Doom Buster attack, firing a large fireball intent to kill the superspy. "Not so fast!" exclaims Classic Sonic, coming to Widow's rescue with a new gadget. "Activate Shield!" That new gadget allowing him to summon a green energy shield strong enough to protect both him and Widow from the fireball, much to the mild annoyance of Sigma.

"What a pathetic upgrade." Sigma frowned.

Sonic smirks, "You haven't seen nothing yet, Baldy McRobo. Show 'em, boys!" He shouts at Ragna and Zero to assault Sigma together, and so they do with synchronized attacks that pushes Sigma to get serious. The three swordsmen take their fight to the next level, blitzing each other at lightning-fast speeds across the area with lightning-fast strikes that are effortlessly deflected. During an epic clash between Zero and Sigma, the latter nearly gets the drop on his foe with a Counter Teleport. Zero saw it coming, and with a smirk, uses his new Advanced Tech upgrades to create subtle warps in space to repel the counter. Sigma is left shocked, leaving him open for Ragna to use his own Advanced Tech upgrades to warp time around himself so his series of powerful slashes land faster and more frequently until Sigma had enough, teleporting to the air before enduring another attack whilst freezing both swordsmen in time.

"It would seem your abilities have exceeded the data we have on you. Still nothing compared to my power! FINAL SIGMA!" The arrogant Sigma surrounds his frozen enemies in a pocket digital dimension where wireframe copies of himself unleash a barrage of brutal attacks. Sigma flies towards his digital world to finally skewer his victims, but at the last second, his sword-wielding arm was sliced off by a surprise Spin Dash from Sonic.

"Looks like you could use a hand." punned Sonic, watching his friends being freed from Sigma's digital world after he lost concentration on it.

The Blue Blur quickly tosses the energy blade for Natasha to catch while she leaps behind the weakened Sigma. She spots Ragna at the other side getting ready to skewer the robot himself, so she decides to coordinate with his efforts. Sharing furious battle cries while running towards the Maverick King, both the Grim Reaper and Black Widow impale Sigma from the front and back, each with their own sword simultaneously.

From the sheer pain, Sigma grunts as he looks down at his wounded chest as he twitches, "Impossible…Defeated by humans when Reploids are superior…" Ragna and Widow both pull their blades out and watch Sigma collapse to his knees. His wounds are fatal, meaning he won't survive the charge shot Zero's getting ready for him at point-blank range. Yet, in the face of death, Sigma remains fearless as he smiles and laughs at his impeding destruction, "All that will change in the New Age…forged by the flames of Solaris…It is too late to change your fate…"

"So is yours." Widow coldly snarks, right before Zero executes the Maverick Leader for the second time in this war with the annoying feeling he'll return soon.

"He was one tough bot bastard." Ragna comments about Sigma's frightening prowess.

Sonic shrugs, "Eh. He was a little more challenging than your typical Super Badnik."

After his teammates chatted, Zero touches his ear comm to contact Tony about their current situation, "Stark! Sigma's down for now and Extremis is secured. What's your status?"

Meanwhile at the E.D.I.T.H. Mainframe…

"Made it to the server room! Antivirus in the process of being fully uploaded." said Iron Man standing before the corrupted computer system. It took another few seconds and some fancy hacking, but Tony was finally able to purge the Stark Network of its infestation. The Avenger claps for a job well done on his part, "Finished! Armored City is now 100% free of Sigma germs."

'I can see from up here. Its citizens are returning to normal.' said Peggy.

'Not bad, Stark. I should invite you to my world the next time the Sigma Virus becomes a problem.' Zero complimented.

"Hopefully it won't be at a larger scale. Was lucky enough to create a program that neutralized the Virus in this city. Studying your body would yield better data." Tony replied, implying the secrets to really eradicate the Sigma Virus lies within Zero.

'You don't say…' Zero contemplates this claim.

"Ah. It's about time." Suddenly materializing as a hologram next to the Armored Avenger is a groggy Stark Prime, also freed from Sigma's influence.

"There you are. How did it feel being corrupted by a malevolent computer virus?" Tony jokes towards his AI counterpart.

AI Stark sheepishly rubs the back of his head saying, "Like I had too much to drink and now I'm suffering the hangover. Doubt we've seen the last of Sigma's influence. Better make plans to create a more powerful virus protection program."

"Already on it." said Tony, being quick to upload the aforementioned protection program into the Network. But, in the middle of his work, he finds something deep within the mainframe that horrifies him to the point of silently gasping, "You've gotta be kidding me…"

BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST-Suitable Opponent

"What is it?" His concerned AI self asked.

Tony replies, "We've been duped. Something ELSE has been hacking the Stark Network all this time! It used the Sigma Virus as a Trojan horse and is nearly done absorbing all the data!" He announced to his allies, much to their equal surprise.

'What?!' Silver exclaimed through their comms, 'Who could be-?'

"Did you REALLY think you have defeated me?" And out of nowhere to interrupt the psychic is a large hologram of Kang's head confronting the Starks inside the server room.

AI Stark scowls, "Kang!"

"I told you Avengers that I would SAVE your world. Under my rule, Mobiant Earth will be strong. It will survive the many onslaughts brought by the dark future. I have been learning the strength and weaknesses of this world's defenses. And now…" Kang grins, "The TRUE conquest begins. I eagerly await our meeting deep within the Bleeding Edge Complex…should you get past my soldiers." He declared eerily before signing off.

'This is a trap. Why else would he be telling us where he's hiding?' wondered Sharon.

"'Cause he thinks we have no time to stop whatever it is he's hiding in there." Tony replied.

'Then lets prove him wrong and go stop him already!' retorted Sonic, eagerly awaiting to kick Kang's butt.

"I'll stay on this end to direct you guys through the quickest route to the Complex while doing my best to stop the hacking." said AI Stark as he interacts with his computer. "But Tony…" His expression suddenly goes somber upon facing his organic self for a quick private discussion, "If all else fails, and he takes control of the Network…"

Completely aware of what the AI is talking about, Tony somberly nods an approval for their secret plan, "…Yeah. Go for it." His AI Self returns a grim nod, allowed to do what needs to be done in case the worst happens. Iron Man will try his best to prevent that last resort from happening, as he flies at top speed to confront what awaits for him in the Bleeding Edge Complex.

Bleeding Edge Complex

BGM-Sonic Advance 3 OST-Cyber Track Map

Created by a spatial anomaly deep within the rooms of the Bleeding Edge Complex, this digitized realm serves as Kang's hidden base from which he coordinates the attack on Armored City. The pressures on as the Chrono Conqueror has nearly assimilated the Stark Network and is one step closer in conquering Chrono World. Iron Man, and the teams of Captain Sharon and Zero, race through this cyberspace zone, using teamwork to plow through the enemy horde blocking them towards the threat to their technology.

"What is going on with this place? The rooms didn't look like this when we entered the building." asked Silver while flying alongside his comrades.

"This is the result of Kang's tech absorbing mine. He's about 80% done downloading the entire Stark Network. If he succeeds, he'll have control over every technology in this Timespace Rift. He'll be unstoppable." Stark explained.

"You have a plan to stop your own tech?" Ragna asked.

"'Course I do, and they always work." quipped Tony.

But Widow snarks, "Barely." while easily knocking down several Kang Soldiers in her way.

"That's not encouraging." Ragna dryly remarked.

"Barely is better than not working at all. We have to stop this no matter what the cost." Sharon said words that encouraged the team, having the most profound effect on Tony as he silently thinks of a solution to this mess manipulated by his own technology.

The heroes take a moment to stop as a few of their members sensed some strange energy the likes neither of them have felt before. Spider-Man 2099 glances at his surroundings to pinpoint the precise location of this strange energy reading, "My Accelerated Vision just picked up some strange energy…" He looks down a corridor to notice an energy barrier blocking entrance into a massive chamber, "Down this corridor. The shock…This amalgamation of energy shouldn't be possible."

"I know what you mean." Zero stands beside the webslinger, "I can feel the Sigma Virus in it. Stronger than ever. Crossed with data that transcends any era."

BGM-Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection OST-Crash

'Congratulations.' The heroes are suddenly startled to their defenses by Kang greeting them through the base's loudspeakers, 'Perhaps you are not as pathetic as the thousands of heroes I have already killed. Step forward.' He said while disabling the barrier into his chamber, 'Witness what I have done with your precious technology.'

In a rush, the heroes ventured into the chamber to find the boss spearheading the attack on the nexus of technology. Upon noticing their mutual foe, each hero is left in shocked by its terrifying appearance. "What in the world is THAT?!" exclaimed Weiss.

"Copyright infringement up the max." quipped Tony.

This boss, this Avatar of Tech, is a four-legged, purple-themed robot the size of a Death Egg Robot, resembling a cross between a Hulkbuster's powerful physique and a mechanized face of a scary Grimm. Initially inactive while kneeled on the floor, the eyes of this Tech Avatar glow bright and scary as it begins to move. It stands up, confronting its new enemies with a futuristic arsenal rivaling that of War Machine that seamlessly materialize across its body. "Behold! My avatar of Chrono World's technology. I have assimilated this nexus of knowledge to create the ultimate technological weapon. Stark, Schnee, Eggman's companies, all that data flowing through this magnificent machine. With your defeat, I will have more data to complete the Solaris Project. None can stand the might of Kang!"The Conqueror proclaims while his mech flexes with grim determination to crush the heroes beneath its immeasurable power.

"Can't wait to prove you wrong, you crappy conqueror!" quipped the scowling Ragna, ready to demolish that Avatar with all his strength.

"That's the Source Construct built to control the nexus. Destroy it before it takes full control!" Iron Man ordered his team.

The Avengers leap into battle against the Avatar of Tech, with Iron Man launching the first attack with a Unibeam to its face. The attack failed to inflict any real damage as the Avatar fires off a barrage of missiles that force the armored avenger to flee for his life until he was cornered and knocked down. The other heroes continue to be on the offensive, spread out and striking with everything that looks to be effective, from Sonic's flurry of Spin Attacks, to Zero calling down his Rekkoha, and to Archangel and his rapidfire feathers. Yet despite their best attacks, none of them look to have inflicted any damage whatsoever.

"It's armor is thick." noted by Archangel.

"Not just that. It's absorbing our attacks through an energy field. Not all of it, but enough to avoid any serious damage." Spidey noticed through his Accelerated Vision, "Even if we can disable its defenses, that arsenal will be just as difficult to bypass."

Deciding to showoff a glimpse of its terrifying power, the Tech Avatar burst out a volley of extremely powerful energy blasts that homes in on its many targets. Many of the heroes failed to evade and were knocked away, while some like Captain Sharon planted themselves like a stubborn tree to shield themselves until the coast was clear. "Iron Man! Whatever plan you have to stop this thing, do it fast! We'll cover you!" Sharon ordered the scientist.

"On it!" said Stark, flying to a safe position to manifest a holographic computer that'll help him hack and stop the Tech Avatar.

Now with a plan, the heroes do their best to keep the giant mech busy until Iron Man is done. Ragna and Archangel work together slashing off its shoulder missile launchers, only to be blown off its body by hidden smart bombs. The Avatar charges up a Unibeam from its own Arc Reactor, unleashing its full power alongside two repulsor beams that pursue Black Widow and Zero for a while.

"Silver, Weiss, combine your powers to create an opening to its Arc Reactor!" ordered Widow.

Swiftly, both Silver and Weiss do just that, combining their best strengths to form a physic-powered glyph on the mech's energy barrier. With all their strength, they rip an opening towards its Arc Reactor, its weakpoint, just big enough for Sonic to lead a brutal assault that finally does some good damage on the Avatar. Their combined attacks didn't last, however, as the tables quickly turned the second it discharged electricity that painfully repels the blue hedgehog before delivering a leaping punch that scatters the other heroes while cratering the ground.

'Unable to analyze. Error.' said JARVIS, in the middle of helping Tony hack the Tech Avatar with little progress that frustrates his creator.

Tony angrily grunts, "COME ON! This isn't magic! It's technology! There HAS to be logic to it!"

Meanwhile, "Nightmare Edge!" Ragna attempts to smite the Avatar with a darkly powerful sword swing that is effortlessly blocked by a single palm, yet the Grim Reaper struggles to break through his defense. Kang stopped paying attention to his efforts, as he's more interested in what Iron Man is doing in the corner.

"And what are you attempting?" coldly asked by the Chrono Conqueror. His Avatar then repels Ragna to focus its attention on Iron Man. It charges up a mouth blast that will destroy him and his efforts to stop him, but at the last second before fire, its head was smacked by a shield throw from Sharon. Both Widow and Spidey then latch onto its distracted face, with the superspy hurling several bombs through its mouth that explodes in its stomach while the webslinger desperately tries to rip off its head. And thanks to a little help from Weiss summoning an Arma Gigas, its demonic head is brutally cut off to reveal the holographic face of a furious Kang, "You dare…"

With cold fury, Kang grabs the Arma Gigas so he may smash it onto Spidey, Widow, and Weiss at speeds too fast and frightening to avoid. "Oh SHOCK-!" exclaimed Miguel, right before his little party is violently crushed by the large Grimm.

With those nuisances out of the way, Kang turns his stern attention back to Iron Man. He wastes no time unleashing a hellstorm of missiles and lasers that'll certainly do in the Avenger, but his efforts were delayed by Silver blocking his onslaught with a psychic barrier that is quickly wearing out. The combined forces of Sonic, Zero, Ragna, and Archangel charge right back at the massive mech, using whatever power they have left to keep it away from Tony.

"We're running out of time, Tony!" Silver told him.

BGM End

Time is running out. The Stark Network is just moments away from being Kang's, and when it is, this interdimensional crisis will expand into an even greater disaster, and it'll be all Stark Industries' fault. Tony keeps trying, and trying under extreme pressure, to prevent that from happening, "Come on, come on! I don't understand! His tech is advanced, but some of its physical systems are still Stark-based! I can't do it! There's just no way to-!" And yet, at that very desperate instant, the supergenius finally found the key that'll save their lives in this infinite database, "JARVIS, STOP! Connect to Port 12101962!"

BGM-Marvel Future Revolution OST-Invincible Tech

Suddenly, in amidst of demolishing the heroes, the Avatar of Tech is left paralyzed as it electrocutes itself. "NO!" The surprised Kang exclaims, knowing this is the work of Tony's tampering with his amazing machine.

"Its systems are down! Finish it!" Tony shouts at his teammates.

Sharon begins this final assault with a leaping strike towards the Avatar's reactor, impaling it with her blaster lance. As she bounces off of the destabilized mech, Classic Sonic rushes to Zero shouting, "Let's finish this with style!"

The little hedgehog spinjumps into the socket of Zero's buster, allowing himself to be imbued with his incredible energy. As he reaches maximum power, Zero sets his cold gaze at the Tech Avatar and locks-on to its Arc Reactor. And the second he reaches full power, the Maverick Hunter shouts, "You're done! SONIC ZERO BLASTER!" before firing Sonic as a supercharged energy projectile that blasts through its core and the mech itself at hypersonic speeds.

Just from that single attack, the massive Avatar of Tech explodes and falls apart, piece by piece until all that remained is a human-sized hologram of the defeated Conqueror himself. "No! This is impossible! I am unstoppable!" Kang vents out his rage over this defeat.

BGM-Mega Man X8 OST-Hunter Base - Doubt

"No, Kang. You've lost." said Stark Prime, suddenly manifesting into the chamber to confront his enemy, "You thought technology was your strength. But you were wrong – it's your greatest weakness!"

"Funny from a Stark!" Kang retorted, "Do you think I have lost, merely because you have evaded my control for the moment? Foolish, foolish primitives. I will destroy you, and unlock the Flames of Disaster. I have conquered worlds. And too bad for you, I have just conquered your precious Network." He announced.

"No! We were too late?!" exclaimed by the surprised Silver.

"The process was complete at the very last second. My will alone is now embedded in the Stark Network. There is no removing it!" Kang grinned evilly at his apparent victory.

And yet, despite this big loss that has doomed the world, both Tonys remain unmoved. Unbothered. Actually, they smile in glad of his victory as both say, "Just what I was waiting to hear/Just what I was waiting to hear." at the same time to a confused Kang.

"Whatever desperate gambit this is, it will not…wait. What…?" Suddenly, Kang notice something odd is affecting his newly-acquired Network.

"The day I put on this suit, I vowed NOBODY would use my tech as a weapon ever again. And I made sure of it." said Tony, knowing exactly what is affecting Kang's systems.

From Kang's side, he finds all his computers going haywire to the point of exploding in front of his face, and there's nothing he can do to stop it, "My systems are crashing! My data…WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"

AI Stark steps forward saying, "You're right. I can't remove you from the network. It's not mine anymore…"

Then, Iron Man takes a step to continue for his counterpart, "But I created it. And when I did, I made sure I could destroy it."

"WHAT?" exclaimed the surprised Miguel.

"Tony!" shouted the shocked Natasha.

"Why would you…" mumbled the stunned Weiss, while the other heroes just stand in utter silence as they couldn't believe this was the Starks' secret plan all along: Destroying the Stark Network.

"No! It makes no sense! Who would destroy what they worked a LIFETIME to build?" Kang bellows out his confused rage at the Starks for ruining his plans to conquer the Nexus of Technology.

"There's more where that came from. Too bad I can't say the same for you. Goodbye for now, Kang." Tony says his goodbyes to the defeated conqueror, forcing him to retreat until he can fight again soon.

BGM-Mega Man X7 OST-Suffering

Right after Kang signed off, Cia enters the chat through their comms, 'Stark! I just heard from Wasp! The entire Stark Network just collapsed!'

"Have you tried unplugging it and then plugging it back in?" quipped Tony.

'Not funny! JARVIS and all your most important tech to help us against Kang have shut down! What were you thinking?!' Cia berates the billionaire scientist for effectively sacrificing his own company to defeat Kang in this battle.

"Seriously! That was decades of work! Wasn't there another way?" asked Weiss, equally furious at Tony for destroying his own company since she recently lost the Schnee Dust Company thanks to Kang's machinations as well.

With a somber tone, Tony replies, "Maybe. But if I'd failed, it would have meant disaster. People, like Ezekiel Stane, are obsessed with their legacies. People like Kang want to take advantage of our legacies. And despite his good intentions, my dad caused a legacy that's dooming time as we speak. I'm not going to make the same mistake." He then places a comforting hand on Weiss' shoulder, "And I recommend you and your granddaughter don't either."

For a moment, Weiss process his words of advice before sighing in complete understanding. His words weren't just meant for the Schnees either. Miguel and Sharon, two heroes that have taken up the legacy of their legendary predecessors, also took his words to heart, promising themselves they'll never be too obsessed with their legacies and what they feel belong to them.

'Sacrificing the old to begin a new legacy…' Cia solemnly noted, 'What you did was reckless…but it saved countless lives. I'm sorry, Tony, for being harsh on you all this while.'

"That's okay. I deserved it for not being careful." Tony replied.

BGM-Mega Man X8 OST-Result

"So, what are we going to do? BOTH our companies are gone." asked Weiss.

"Don't know 'bout you, but I plan on starting over. Rebuild. A new network…and maybe a new name. How does 'Stark Resilient' sound to everyone?" Tony asked for approval for the name of his new company.

"I like it." smiled Stark Prime.

"Course you do." Tony quips at his doppelganger.

Weiss smiles, "It makes a statement."

"From the Invincible Iron Man, I'd say it's perfect!" Silver grinned happily, with everyone else approving the name as well.

"Thanks everyone. Without you, Kang would have taken control of some of the most valuable information on Earth. You've done well. Let's get outta here. Our fight for the future rages on." declared Tony, more ready than ever to build a new future, and he won't stop until his dream becomes a reality.

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-Extras

KFX Here: One Nexus down, two more to go. Once this war is over, Tony plans on rebuilding Stark Industries as Stark Resilient. That's his future, but what about the fate of the next Nexus? We'll find out soon enough.

B4ttwell: I WAS thinking of adding both Classic and Boom Eggman into this story, but it's already packed with characters from other eras and dimensions. Perhaps as a cameo, if possible, later down this act.

Braewriter of Rewriting: Unfortunately, I don't know anything about Sengoku Basara nor have any interest in that series. When it comes to Capcom franchises, I only care about those represented in Marvel vs. Capcom. Even then, this story and its plot points have already been planned out. Anymore altering will give me a headache.
