It was the beginning of the end most were clamoring, though some argued it ended when Kang the Conqueror destroyed Washington. That mass murderer used some sort of future-weapon from his time to do the job, leaving most of the city intact while wiping out the entire populace. Hope died on that day, as Kang's image appeared on every city in his Timespace Rift. "THE AVENGERS DEFIED MY ORDER TO KEEP THE BATTLE, OUR WAR FOR DOMINION OF THE TIMESTREAM, ON THE BATTLEFIELD. THEY ASSAULTED MY COMMAND CENTER, AND NOW THE COUNTRY THAT HARBORS THEM HAS PAID THE PRICE. AND THE WORLD HAS SEEN ANOTHER DEMONSTRATION OF THE POWER AT MY COMMAND. SO I OFFER YOU A CHOICE. YOU MAY WISH TO SURRENDER, LEST YOU FEAR SUCH POWER BEING TURNED AGAINST YOU." declared that heartless Conqueror.

Many nations surrendered within days. But Kang made the GUN Commander, acting for the United States, surrender first. He had no choice. He couldn't risk him hitting New Vale next, or L.A. Still, the President had been gotten to safety, and even if he knew of his location, he wouldn't divulge it to Kang.

Not everyone accepted the surrender, of course, and Kang pacified rebels in numerous cities and kingdoms. And the war went on in unsurrendered nations. Kang didn't use the city-killer on them, preferring to fight them head-to-head, but he did say that any surrendered nation that took up arms against him would feel the bombs as retribution. As for the world's super heroes, some were captured, or surrendered to save innocents from death. Some managed to stay free. And some stayed free for a while, only to be brought down eventually.

Two Weeks Later…At the Arabian Nights Realm

BGM-Marvel Future Revolution OST-Revolution Starts Here

Over the weeks since the destruction of Washington, all but a few isolated nations in Chrono World were under Kang's control. Despite the overwhelming odds, the Avengers Alliance refused to give up. Their heroics continue to inspire the common folk to join their ever-growing resistance, like the local Arabian Nights Resistance group assaulting an Eggnet Hub in Dragon Road Zone in their desperate effort to gain control of Eggman Nega's data.

"Someone take out those Guard Towers ASAP!" ordered the Resistance Commander.

Using Wispons among other skills and high-tech weaponry, and amazing teamwork, the rebels were quick to destroy the guard towers. Once they were clear, some of their strongest members rip of the gate that grants entry for their little army. But their advance was sadly put to a stop by the sudden reinforcements of Chronos Corpsmen appearing from a Time Rift in the sky led by Metal Sonic 3.0 empowered by his Sol Aura.

One Resistance Soldier shouts with frightened fear, "IT'S METAL SONIC! TAKE COV-!" before they were ruthlessly killed off. Future Metal Sonic, along with his soldiers who fight beside him, wreaks catastrophic damage upon the Resistance while pushing them away from the Hub. But even as the shadow of despair spreads across them and the world, the light of hope is certain to appear at hypersonic speeds.

"METAAAAAL!" With an explosive sonic boom that scatters many Chronos Corpsmen, a furious Modern Sonic suddenly appears flying through the sky to confront his robotic doppelganger with a punch that is expertly caught.

Swiftly, they engage in a high-speed clash of Spin Attacks across the Zone that appears evenly-matched. Which is good for Eggman Nega, as he talks through Metal via a communicator so he may have the pleasure of taunting Sonic, 'What's this? I don't see your little friends.'

"I don't need anyone's help to stop you!" Sonic retorted.

But some of Sonic's friends have come to help him, just not against his personal fight against Metal Sonic. Elsa Schnee, Pixie, and E-123 Omega come rushing in to help their fellow Resistance against the enemy horde. With use of Lightning Dust, Elsa makes quick work of Badniks with silent, electrifying-fast slashes with her blade. Pixie spreads her fairy dust across the horde, causing some Kang Soldiers to hallucinate teddy bears and unicorns that confuse them, long enough for Omega to knock them out with his violent arsenal.

Back with Sonic, his clash with Future Metal ends in a stalemate that blows them away from each other with respective injuries. 'This world is all but done for.' Eggman Nega claimed.

"That's not for you to decide!" Sonic angrily flaunts his arm alongside his retort.

'We're on the cusp of reviving the God Flame that RULES fate, fool! Your future is OURS to control! Simply hand over our Chaos Emerald and we will let you live. You have my word.' Nega proposed to his blue foe.

"Give me a sec to think 'bout it." quipped the smirking Sonic, literally waiting for a second to pass until he suddenly appears to rigorously smack Metal away from behind, "No!"

Nega snarls, 'You truly don't know when to give up, do you…Enough of this. Metal Sonic! End him the same way we ended his fox friend!' He gloats over Modern Tails' death at the hands of Kang two weeks ago, easily infuriating the hedgehog to point of him nearly bursting with fury. Metal Sonic wouldn't give him the chance as he fires a powerful energy blast that Sonic narrowly evades with a grunt, leaving the blast free to wipe out several Resistance soldiers.

"Oh no!" Sonic turned to their corpses in surprise, which is what Metal wanted as he uses this quick distraction to brutally kick the blue hedgehog so hard in the gut that the sheer force from it sends him flying through buildings and dragon-shaped paths until he crashes near Pixie, who is in the middle of fighting her own battle against some goons.

"Sonic!? Are you alright? I can get Shahra to heal you!" The concerned Pixie talked to him.

But through a pained grunt, Sonic stands up okay replying, "…Just a little shaken up. I'm good." before turning his stern gaze back at Future Metal Sonic, "Just stick to the plan. Keep causin' trouble. I'm sure in a few we'll win this without them realizing it." He said cryptically, but it didn't matter to the X-Man as she is well aware of their secret plan to win this battle.

Inside Eggnet Hub

That secret plan being a lone Amazing Spider-Man crawling through a ceiling ventilation shaft to avoid detection. With the Chronos Corps distracted handling the resistance outside, Peter used this opportunity to infiltrate the base, making it his job to hack the Eggnet. His job becomes easier upon noticing several more soldiers rushing out to provide reinforcements. 'Coast is clear.' He thought.

Once the corridor was clear of security, the Web Warrior drops out of the ventilation as quickly as he activates his suit's stealth mode to blend in with the high-tech environment. 'Got no time for sightseeing. Gotta be quick and careful. Dunno how long everyone can keep the Chronos Corps distracted out there. Gotta use the route Eggman showed me that leads to the central computer. Won't get another shot at this.' Peter speaks to himself in his thoughts.

Spider-Man may not be a superspy like Black Widow and Nick Fury, but he surely does have talent that rivals them both. With spider-speed, he blitzes past guards that didn't feel his presence. With spider-agility, he bounces off walls to avoid all traps that would trigger the interior alarms. The Webbed Wonder ventures through the quickest route to his destination. That destination? The central computer at the end of the base.

'The central computer! Made it! All without making a noise. And people say I can't shut up.' The invisible Wallcrawler joked. He takes a seat in front of the computer to begin his little hacking session, 'As we expected, Nega updated the login. Good thing we've developed a command algorithm to bypass the security. …Made it in! Now, just gotta upload this virus, aaaaaand…Booyah! Upload successful! Nega won't know what's inside 'til its too late! Time to quietly skedaddle!' And with his part of the mission complete, Spider-Man retreats, leaping over an Egg Pawn that just entered the room. It turns its confused head around thinking it noticed his presence, but simply shrugs it off as the wind or something.

Back Outside…

BGM-Jump Force OST-New York

Sonic is taking a speedy pounding from his robotic double. The Sol Power that is energizing Metal Sonic 3.0 has made him tremendously powerful, too strong for the Blue Blur to handle alone after he is brutally stomped to the ground. Elsa is nearby with the assist, launching an ice arrow that freezes Metal long enough for Sonic to kick him off his body.

"The Chaos Emerald they stole from us has made their System even more powerful." said Elsa as she regroups with Sonic.

"Doesn't help we have to hold back…We're not supposed to win. Not this fight. Just gotta convince them we're losing." The injured Sonic grunted, "What's taking him so long?"

'It didn't take me THAT long. You gotta learn patience, Little Blue.' quipped Spidey, contacting him while implying his part is finished.

Sonic smirks, "Took ya long enough. Must mean you're out. Good. We're done here." The Leader Hedgehog then glances to his forces to give out an order, "EVERYONE, RETREAT! We'll come back to fight another day!"

That was the signal for a Resistance soldier to fire a flash grenade that blinds Metal Sonic and his forces long enough for the heroes to escape safely with Pixie's teleportation magic. Metal was among the first to regain his sight because of his status as a robot, but it was too late as the heroes have already fled.

'They retreated? So this is what Earth's Mightiest Heroes have been reduced to.' Eggman Nega laughs maniacally, fully believing he has won this fight, unaware and will remain unaware of their tampering with his Eggnet.

Later…at Wakanda Island, in the Sakaar Realm.

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 OST-Wakanda Palace 1

This floating kingdom remains one of the few nations that haven't been conquered by Kang, equally providing some of the best resistance against his growing power thanks in large part to their super-advanced Vibranium technology. The perfect, and temporary, base of operations for the Avengers and their allies.

Inside the Wakandan War Room, Nick Fury paces around while thinking to himself, with Phoenix Wright and Queen Storm minding their own business. "They're sure taking their time. What's keeping them?" asked Wright, worried about Spider-Man's team.

Having enough of them running late, Fury uses his ear comm to contact the team, "Spider-Man! What's taking you so long?"

'Worried 'bout us, Nick? Always knew you cared.' Spidey quipped.

Fury threateningly snarls, "Don't make me drag you back here by your webs!"

'Alright, alright. Teleporting into the War Room in three, two, one…' Suddenly, through the power of Shahra's magic, Spidey's team is safely teleported into the room to reunite with their pals, "Poof! Hey everyone! Y'know, I'm not the biggest magic fanboy, but man is it convenient. Beats flying through a war-filled timespace in a Quinjet to park inside an invisible floating island."

"Thank you again for allowing us to stay in Wakanda, Queen Ororo, after we were forced to flee Avengers Tower to avoid New Vale from suffering a similar fate to Washington." said Elsa to the Wakandan Queen.

Storm smiles, "My home is yours, friends. We are ALL victims of Kang's tyranny. The best way to oppose him is together."

"And by outsmarting him using one of his closest allies' own network. Was that a success?" sternly asked by Fury.

"You betcha! Stuck a virus deep into his systems! We now have full access to the Eggman Empire right under his mustache." Spidey replied enthusiastically.

Fury grins, "Good."

"Still not wild 'bout giving Eggman control of his Empire again. Been trying to take it down since I was a kid, y'know. YEARS of hard work and I'm simply giving it back because reasons…?" frowned Sonic, scratching his agitated quills while trying to remind himself why Eggman regaining control of his Empire will help them take down Kang.

Fury explains, "We need to surprise Kang by the time we launch the counterattack. Three-fourths of this Timespace Rift have fallen to HIS Empire. If we're going to beat him, we need to be creative, and take risks."

"Last time we took risks it cost us some of our friends!" Sonic snarks angrily at the superspy.

"LAST TIME we were rushed!" Fury retorted sternly to rival his tone, "It's unfortunate what happened, but the Fall of Washington did give us more time to strategize and perfect our plans. I assure you, Kang WILL pay for his crimes once all is said and done."

Sonic doesn't seem too convinced by his promise. He just gives him a stoic wave while turning away from him and the others, "I'll hold ya to that. I'm gonna go take a run to cool off. I'll catch ya all later." He promised before swiftly racing out of the palace.

"Will Sonic be okay? I've never seen him so upset." asked Shahra, looking concerned for her old master.

Spidey turns to tell her, "He's been getting better. Most of us are. Just that Washington hit us really hard…" He said somberly for that moment, before giving a little hopeful speech, "All the more reason we can't give up, even though we're on our last legs. We owe it to everyone we lost to take another stand. Sonic knows this. Instead of standing, he'll be running past his limits to ensure we all make it out in the end. So let's do him a favor and not slow him down when the time comes." He declared with optimism that was well accepted by his pals, each of themselves promising to continue fighting for the sake of those they lost in this Time War.

Meanwhile, Sonic has long ran out of the Golden City to be on his own for a bit. He has a peaceful run through Azure Lake Zone while thinking about the friends he lost to Kang, the most dear to his heart are Captain America, and of course, Tails. Steve was his hero. A true Freedom Fighter in his eyes that shared wisdom that strengthened his will of freedom. And Tails. He was his best friend. His little brother. They've known each other since forever, busting up Badniks while always having each other's back. But this time, Sonic didn't have his. He wasn't there to protect him. And now, both his friend and his hero are gone.

'Tails…Cap…' Sonic thought with a single depressed frown.

Still, if Sonic has learned anything from his friends, and recently in this war, is that he shouldn't lose himself to despair even during these dark times. His sadden face shifts into a glare of resolve as he runs faster than ever through the Zone, determined to keep fighting in the name of his lost friends.

Elsewhere in Birnin Zana…

BGM-Sonic Battle OST-Emerl Configuration

The best minds of the Avengers Alliance have been working hard to devise a strategy to defeat the Chronos Corps before they become unstoppable. For several days they've been working in one of the best laboratories owned by Princess Shuri, who has taken lead of the science team as she has developed some ideas that could turn the tide. Of course, villains like Mister Sinister and Doctors Eggman and Octopus are still here helping the Alliance, at the cost of them now being closely monitored 24/7 by the Dora Milaje, just in case they try anything evil that could jeopardize their mission to save the world.

"Come on, come on!" said an excited Ruby Rose while dragging Miles Morales into the lab for some reason.

"Okay, okay! There was no need to drag me here! I have two legs that aren't broken." Miles quipped, with the two friends also joined by a Maya Fey sharing Ruby's enthusiasm.

Eggman gives a disgusted grunt at the new arrivals, "Ugh, who invited the children? We're busy constructing Anti-Kang weaponry in here!"

"Two of us are legally adults y'know!" Maya retorted.

"But you all act like brats!" Eggman snarked.

"This coming from the manchild that throws temper tantrums whenever he loses to a blue hedgehog." Shuri teases the old egg.

Eggman snarls, "What you say, you little-." but was cut off by a Dora Milaje threatening to slit his throat if he doesn't stop insulting the princess.

"Quiet." The Dora Milaje Warrior coldly ordered him.

"Y-Yes, ma'am…" replied by the scared Eggman sweating rigorously.

Shuri smiles at his expense, "If you must know, Doctor, I was the one who invited them so they may see how cool our science project is becoming."

"Yeah! So how cool is it?" asked Ruby.

"EXTREMELY cool! Recognize this?" Shuri points up to a fairly large purple crystal contained with a device for study.

"No, but it looks beautiful. What is it?" Maya asked.

Volunteering to answer the spirit medium, Miles tells her, "Cia's allowing us to borrow it. It's the Forever Crystal we told you about. I helped reassemble it y'know."

"With some help from me." Sinister grinned deviously.

"You tried to use it to CONQUER the world!" Miles retorted.

"And now we'll use it to save the world." Shuri responded.

"How?" wondered by the innocently confused Maya.

"By completing my father's research, Project PEGASUS." Tony Stark chimes into the conversation with his usual jokes, "Just replace the sentient cosmic flames of temporal destruction with a shiny crystal."

Shuri types on her computer to project all their research data on the Forever Crystal to everyone in the room, "What was once the core of the Time Eater became one of Chronoa's greatest treasures. The Forever Crystal possesses unlimited power, enough to birth time for an entirely new universe. For days we've been studying its properties and are close to perfecting our 'Avengers Forever Program' designed to counteract the Solaris Master System."

"Meaning we get better time powers?" Miles questioned.

"And make it easier transporting armies to attack the weakpoints of the Chronos Corps, among other neat things." Shuri added, "Our plan is to launch a massive, simultaneous surprise attack that'll make it easier for us to go in and shut down their System before they can reassemble Solaris."

"Though incomplete without the final Chaos Emerald, their System outclasses our own and is now more than capable of rearranging several dimensions and their histories to a certain degree that WILL put a great strain on reality to the point of it breaking." Ock stated while working efficiently with all eight limbs, "We must hurry and uncover its location before one of those imbeciles decide to overuse it."

Tony replies, "It's been moved from Damocles Base, that much we learned two days ago. Our recon teams are still searching. Just more time for me to perfect my little pet chronal project."

"You mean building a new set of armor based on data provided by OUR work on the Time Eater?" snarked Ock, taking great pleasure in mocking Stark that he is using the villains' data to help create a new Iron Man Armor.

"And based on the design and properties of the Three Sacred Treasures of Chronoa." quipped Stark, confronting his teasing by casually projecting images of the aforementioned relics: The future-seeing Crown of Tempus, the time-piercing Spear of Mira, and the ultimate timeless Armor of Kako.

"That are still derived from OUR timeless craftsmanship on Time Eater. HA! Who's the smartest genius in history now, huh?" mocked, Eggman, joining his octo-partner in grinning teasingly at the unamused genius playboy.

"Still me, since I was never played for an idiot by Time Eater and needed help from variants of myself to come close to perfecting it." quipped Tony, which was enough to shut up their teasing and switch them to being irritated, "I'm not adding gears and car seats to Time Eater like you guys. My Quantum Armor is being built completely from the ground-up using material salvaged from Chronoa and powered by my new Vibranium Arc Reactor. And once reinforced with the A.F.P., it'll have the firepower necessary in the likelihood Solaris puts himself back together."

"You are welcome for the donation." Shuri joked about lending some vibranium to Stark.

"Wouldn't it be easier to just use the A.F.P. to travel back in time to prevent this war from happening? Save everyone we lost. It can do that, right?" A curious Maya recommended to the scientists.

With a depressed frown at the spirit medium, Tony replies, "Theoretically of course, but…if there's one thing this war taught us is that meddling with time will lead to new disasters because of its unpredictability to the timestream. We CAN'T take that risk, no matter how painful the past is, especially with this event affecting all of history."

"Oh…" Maya slightly lowers her frowning head, sadden that they can't change their lost friends' fate.

Ruby steps to her friend's side with a smile and some words that should cheer her up, "It's better we learn from the past to ensure a happier future, wouldn't you agree?" She asked a question that Maya simply answered with a smiling nod, eliciting a chuckle from the huntress before she turns back to Tony, "By the way, where's Cia?"

"She was here earlier checking up if we blew up the universe yet before taking a break. Hope she's doing okay." Tony quipped, being a little concerned for the time sorceress.

Carnival Night Zone

The Time Sorceress in question has taken her break to the playful carnival filled with balloons and pinball bumpers for all Wakandans to enjoy. Cia hasn't visited a theme park in centuries, and certainly not one as colorful as this. She walks around with curious glances at attractions that everyone is surprisingly enjoying despite the outside world is under siege by a Chrono Conqueror.

In amidst her walk, Cia spots a balloon rising to the skies after it was accidently let go by a young girl crying, "My balloon!"

With a simple gesture, the Chronoan uses her magic to gently pull the balloon down for herself to grab before kneeling down to give it back to the child, "Here you go."

"My balloon! Thank you, miss!" The girl smiled happily.

Cia smiles back, "You're welcome. Now run along and be extra careful with it, okay."

The girl nods, "Okay!" before running off to continue having fun in the theme park, leaving a frowning Cia alone until she is met by royal company.

"You seem jealous to not have your own balloon."

BGM-Sonic Unleashed OST-Gaia Gate

Upon hearing that voice, Cia turns around to be greeted by T'Challa, the Black Panther and King of Wakanda. "No, no, your majesty. I'm just wondering if it was such a good idea to leave this carnival open during these dire times." Cia expresses her concerns to him.

"War does not forbid happiness." Panther stands beside her, observing all his people with smiles of enjoying their time in his carnival, "Seeing their smiles reminds us of what we are fighting for. Inspiring us to grow ever stronger to ensure they are kept for a lifetime."

"Maybe…" Cia frowningly lowers her head, "It's been getting harder and harder for me to remain positive when I have continuously failed to end this war that I have been fighting for my entire life. So many people have lost their smiles to the flames brought by my God…" She said, expressing her guilt for this temporal tragedy.

"Do not blame yourself for Solaris' actions." T'Challa said solemnly to cheer her up, "He played the role as god to try and use your people. If there is anyone that should feely guilty, it is Wakanda. If only we came to your country's aid when it was under siege. We were sibling nations after all."

Cia suddenly perks up to retort, "That's right! We were! Chronoa and Wakanda, many ages ago, when my ancestors visited yours during a peace movement. They got along to the point of sharing materials and other secrets that led to our nations' respective advancements. I recall we even engaged in sporting events akin to modern day's Olympic Games, though I was so busy with my studies during those times to watch any of them."

"Probably for the best. Wakanda always dominated the competition." Black Panther joked.

"Nooo, Chronoa were always the winners." snarked the amused Cia.

"How would you know if you never watched the games?" Panther quipped.

"I had a father that never missed one!" Cia retorted.

"Same with my grandparents and their grandparents!" Panther remarked coolly.

Smirking, Cia retorts, "Are you begging to reignite our kingdoms' old rivalry?"

"A king does not beg, but will request to see you in the playing field so you may be 'served' at Dream Discus." Panther playfully challenges her to a competition between the Last Chronoan and the Wakanda King.

Cia cockily quips, "I rather not embarrass a king in front of his people, but since you are requesting…"

'My King!' Suddenly Okoye, General of the Dora Milaje, contacts her king through their Kimoyo Beads.

"Okoye, what's the matter? Is something wrong?" asked Panther, quickly shifting to a solemn tone to speak with his general.

'Not entirely. I want to inform you that we have found two visitors standing outside the royal gates.' Okoye informed.

"Visitors from the outside? Do you know who they are?" Panther requested for their identities.

'One of them is Shadow the Hedgehog, the variant that was once under the Chronos Corps' control. The other is being arrogant and will only reveal her name in your presence. From the looks of it, she is a little vampire girl.' Okoye described them both.

"I will meet with them shortly. In the meantime, keep them still and in your sights." Ordered Black Panther before turning off his Bead, then turns back to talk with Cia, "We'll have to postpone our game. A suspicious duo has appeared before my gates."

Cia grimly nods, "Understood. We'll take the express route." And what she really means is using her magic to seamlessly teleport them both to their destination.

Royal Gates

In an instant, both T'Challa and Cia arrive at the royal gates outside of the capital city where they are greeted by Okoye and her warriors. "They are over here, beloved. Still unclear how they got past our security system, or why they surrendered without a fight when we noticed them." said Okoye, directing her king to the intruders.

BGM-BlazBlue OST-Hollow

The Wakandan King steps forward to confront the two mysterious intruders: Boom Shadow the Hedgehog has returned, still standing apathetically with his arms crossed with indifference to the people around him. But his strange return isn't as mysterious as the cute young girl accompanying him. Holding a cat-shaped parasol that is also accompanied with a flying red fat bat, this Crimson Vampire gives off an aura of someone far older than what she looks and is here for reasons that could easily change the fate of this entire world.

"Y-You're…" gasped a shocked Cia, as she is the only one who instantly recognizes the mysterious vampire.

"It is about time you arrived. I'm not a lady that likes to be kept waiting. Nonetheless, I am glad you are here alongside the Chronoan Time Keeper. Greetings, King T'Challa." The Crimson Vampire greeted him with a refined tongue, while making it very obvious there is more to her than meets the eye.

"Greetings, but I must know of your name, and your business here in Wakanda Island." Black Panther calmly orders from her.

The Crimson Vampire then reveals, "My name is Rachel Alucard, head of the Alucard Family. Like many others trapped in this Rift, I am not of your world. I seek to restore the cosmic balance and return time to normal, hence why we have arrived so we may join your Alliance against our common enemy, Kang the Conqueror."

Boom Shadow scoffs, "Wasting my time by dragging me here so you can ask them that? I can beat Kang on my own. Don't need their help."

"The Day of Disaster approaches. You have no hope of defeating Kang on your own without the assistance of your counterparts and their allies." argued Rachel.

"Watch me." Shadow retorted.

"Watching you being pathetically massacred is not worth MY time. I swear you share that mindless brutish nature with that man." insulted Rachel, comparing Shadow's arrogance to another crimson warrior that she is well-acquainted in their world.

"Keep insulting me and I'll show you brutal." Shadow scowlingly threatened her.

"Enough!" Black Panther exclaimed so they may return to the main topic about accepting them into their Alliance, "Explain to me why we should trust you? Wakanda is cloaked from all forms of detection from the outside with the most advanced technology. Even Kang hasn't found us, yet you have."

"I simply have been keeping note of this country since the loss of its Master Emerald." Rachel answered.

"From before Chrono World?" Panther questioned.

"Exactly. As I'm sure you're aware, the Master Emerald disappearing from your reality caused distortions affecting others, mines included. It is my job as an Onlooker to keep tabs on such interventions and prevent them from becoming a problem to my world." Rachel explained.

"What she says is true, your majesty." Cia speaks up to him, "While she may not act like it most of the time, Rachel Alucard DOES care for the safety of the world. Considering that she has come to US very well means the situation has gone grim." She said, saying that Rachel is a girl that can be trusted into their Alliance.

Meanwhile, Sonic races back to the city after finishing his island run and reunites with both Ragna and Sharon Carter while they were exploring the city. "Finished with your run?" Carter asked the hedgehog.

Sonic smiles, "Yup. Quite relaxing. You two should try it sometimes."

"When we can break the sound barrier." quipped Ragna.

"Anything interesting happened while I was gone?" asked Sonic while stretching his legs.

"Dunno. We just got back from a mission." Carter replied, but then her gaze caught the sight of Black Panther's first meeting with Rachel in the distance, "But it looks like we stumbled upon something. Panther's talking to someone. One of them looks like Shadow's Variant. Don't recognize the girl though."

"Maybe she's the Maria of Shadow's world?" Sonic curiously guessed.

Only Ragna recognizes that girl, though it did take him a moment after squinting his eyes at the vampire princess. "Wait a sec…HER? What's Rabbit doing here?" He wondered.

"She does look like one from this distance with those black ribbons…" Sonic joked, but otherwise has no idea who Rachel Alucard is.

"HEY! RABBIT!" shouted Ragna, running alongside his two friends to meet with Panther's group whilst getting the Rosen Princess to notice her old acquaintance.

"Ah, there you are, Ragna. Have you made good friends with the Avengers?" Rachel calmly teases him.

"That's none of your business. When did you show up?" Ragna asked, curious about her intentions in Wakanda.

"A few moments ago with the request that I may join their Alliance." Rachel answered.

"Seriously? You want to help us?" Ragna responded, left a little surprised by her request.

Rachel glares, "Is that wrong?"

"No. It's just that usually you make ME do all the heavy lifting." said Ragna.

"You still will, but times are different. Literally. If we do not come and act together now, then the very fabric of time and space will be unraveled permanently." Rachel replied vaguely.

"Wanna explain how?" asked Sonic, with the vampire's interested gaze turning to him for a moment.

"You already know. After all, you are one of the Legendary Saviors of Time." Rachel responded.

"Oh really?" shrugged Sonic, confusingly wondering how he became such a legend across time when the answer is painfully obvious.

"Yes, 'really'." scowled Rachel, already annoyed with his naivety, "I have observed your battles with Solaris and Time Eater as it was an event that transcended reality. You are one of the few beings in any universe to have stood up and defeated such entities whose might rivals even the Time Gods of my world. Quite the achievement."

Sonic smirkingly wipes his nose, "Can't take all the credit. Had some friends backing me up."

"Quite true. Teamwork is our key to victory in this Time War, as well as several necessities." Rachel claimed.

"And those would be…" Carter casually waits for an elaboration.

"The seven Chaos Emeralds. The Forever Crystal. The Chronoblade. And the Nexus Being." Rachel listed out.

Ragna frowns, "Sorry to say, Rabbit, but we don't even have half of that stuff. Kang has six of the Chaos Emeralds. Even if we somehow get them back, he killed Scarlet Witch two weeks ago."

"Is that so? Such a shame none of you were able to do anything on that day." said Rachel, being apathetic yet seem to be hiding something very important. And so, with a simple wave of her hand, the Crimson Vampire uses her magic to summon nine surprising individuals lying beside on the ground, those nine people being: Infinite, Captain Marvel, Grimm Reaper, Classic Knuckles, Spider-Man 2099, Spectrum, Boom Sonic, Scarlet Witch, and to Modern Sonic's astonishing surprise, Modern Tails. "Good thing I was watching the event to change their fate." She reveals herself as their saviors.

"TAILS! WANDA! They're alive!" exclaimed Modern Sonic.

BGM-Sonic Rush OST-Theme of Sonic's Event

An astonished Black Panther comments, "Everyone! I cannot believe…"

"This is truly incredible!" Cia grinned.

"Rachel, you saved them?" asked by the shocked Ragna, wasn't expecting her to be their secret savior.

"Right under Kang's nose. Unfortunately, they were badly injured and spent the last few days healing under my care. They remain comatose, but I can assure you they will wake soon." Rachel informed.

Sonic quickly knelt down to check on his comatose two-tailed buddy. Quickly confirming for himself that he is alive, Sonic beams a relieved smile and looks up at Rachel, "Man, I don't care! I'm just glad to see my best bud again!" He gives the girl a thumbs-up alongside a, "Thanks, Rachel. I owe you one."

"You are welcome." Rachel kindly accepted, "After strategizing and once Ms. Maximoff awakes, we can begin our counterattack on the Chronos Corps before they revive Solaris."

"Not so fast!" Sharon Carter suddenly exclaimed to get curious eyes focused on her and her sense of worry, "Just did a head count. There were TEN people onboard the Quinjet assaulting Damocles. We're missing one." The Superspy then focuses her stern, yet worrisome gaze on, "Rachel…Where is Steve Rogers?"

In that moment, Rachel's poker face shifts to a frown as she slightly lowers her head due to a shame that she knows will greatly upset the Avengers but doesn't hesitate to reveal it. With a simple gesture, she summons forth a Vibranium Shield that is all to familiar to the heroes. And, with a somber tone in her voice, she states, "…This…is all that is left of Captain Rogers."

That sentence alone sends terrifying chills down the spines of each heroes with variously similar expressions of shock to their faces. That sentence alone was enough to tell them everything, that despite Rachel's great power, she was unable to save Captain America from Kang's attack or find his body anywhere afterwards. In other words, the First Avenger is dead.

Elsewhere…at Final Factory Zone, Sol Realm.

BGM-Mega Man X8 OST-VS Sigma Demo

Robots and weapons are churned out nonstop at this secret, futuristic Eggman Nega facility, protected by a myriad of toy-like traps to prevent any Resistance from interrupting the Mad Doctor during testing time. Cinder Fall had entered a training room, having volunteered to help Nega test the improvements to their Solaris Master System. Both him and Mephiles are looking down at the Fall Maiden from a secured upper viewing area, waiting to begin the experiment.

"Beginning Test #5 of the nearly-perfected Solaris Master System. Are you ready, Ms. Fall?" asked by the polite Doctor Nega.

"Just get on with it." Cinder disrespectfully wants him to hurry it up.

"My, aren't we impatient. Let us begin the experiment." Nega begins interacting like a mad genius on his computers to get his System up and running, "Accessing Solaris Master Server!" Just then, a deadly stream of cosmic fire encircles Cinder but it doesn't bother her. In fact, she embraces it, calmly welcoming the flames with open arms as they encase her in a fiery dome. Mephiles remains silent, interested in the new power she will gain once this experiment is complete. "…160%...180%...Good. The Sol Level has reached 200%! We have surpassed the previous limitation. Now…Finalize! Super Sol Mode!"

The testing chamber begins to shake from the tremendous power radiating deep from Cinder's ignited soul. Her Maiden Power becomes evolved to a superior, near-perfected version of the Solaris Power. Suddenly, chunks of the flame dome that encased her burst open to slowly show off her newly-transformed self: First are her black boots that don't look too different from usual, but the skin of her legs did turn to a transparent whitish color that seamlessly spreads across her body. The section of her arms are next, reinforced with sharp cyan shoulder pads and smooth arm guards of the same color. The chest area then reveals itself, with the gold trimmings of her black tank top turning red as a large red phoenix-shaped symbol is drawn on both her chest and the back of her cape. Lastly, the remains of the dome burst, revealing a head that automatically burns away her left eyepatch so she may open both eyes that now glow with pure yellow, godly energy.

BGM-Sonic Unleashed OST-Eggmanland Entrance

Nega eerily grins at her newly evolved power and comments, "Finalization complete. How are you feeling, Ms. Fall?"

One look at her hand enveloped with enhanced flames gets Cinder to smirk, "Like a god. I can feel Solaris granting me this strength. This power is…intoxicating!"

"Very good. Let's put it to the test, shall we." replied Nega as he presses a button.

That button he pressed summons a massive swarm of Badniks that surrounds the Sol Maiden for the purpose of testing her evolved power, and already they failed to intimidate her. All with a devilish smirk, Cinder boasts her new power with a variety of techniques, from launching streams of flames that incinerates hordes to using her Semblance to melt, then shatter the very fabric of spacetime with a single punch to obliterate squadrons in a crystalized explosion. Training heats up as she conjures a more powerful fire blade, blitzing robots with unfathomable speeds while using that same speed to cut each bot in two with deadly precision.

Nega has, and continues to record her energy data as she fights with the Super Sol Power. He's pleased to see the test running smoothly, right until they suddenly, and chaotically, fluctuate. "What's this?" A concerned Nega commented.

It would seem that Cinder is losing control of her new power as evident of her fiery golden aura bursting out to the open, but she doesn't notice or care as she charges her blade with more power to the point of it enlarging to a towering flame sword of destruction. With a ferocious, "RAAAAAAAAAAAH!" she swings it down on the remaining Badnik horde with increasing amounts of explosive fire waves enveloping the chamber, nearly consuming Eggman Nega's if he wasn't protected by Mephiles' barrier, redirecting the flames as an erupting volcano that blows a massive hole in the ceiling for anyone across the entire Zone to marvel at until it dies down.

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST- Sneaky Conspiracy

As soon as Mephiles puts down his barrier, both he and Nega were quick to notice the entire testing chamber completely devastated by Cinder's out-of-control power. The Fall Maiden herself isn't feeling too good either as she suddenly falls to her knees and drops out of her Super Sol Mode, withering in complete exhausted pain that has her clenching onto her left eye. "Damn it! My body's…" She grunted.

The calm Mephiles finally says to her, "That power…You have not stabilized it yet and let it run rampant. Even with full mastery, your body is mortal and will burn away your lifespan."

"Whatever…" Cinder grunts, fighting with herself to gain the strength to stand somewhat with a scary scowl, "I WILL master this power, even if it kills me…"

Mephiles stoically scoffs, "You are an amusing creature." He complimented Cinder's resolve.

"Doctor…!" coughed a female voice that is familiar to everyone in the room. It's Princess Ravonna walking in and coughing repeatedly from all the smoke, "What was the meaning behind that explosion?"

"Ah, Princess Ravonna. We just finished another test of the Solaris System. We'll still need the remaining Chaos Emeralds to iron out the flaws before we can remake reality in our image." Nega answered.

"Lord Kang is searching for them as we speak. Just be extra careful from now on. We're at a delicate stage of the Project and can't afford any mess ups." Ravonna sternly warned him.

"As you wish, Princess. Is there anything else you want from me?" asked Nega.

"Yes. Wakanda Island." The Chrono Princess demanded.

Nega raises a curious eyebrow, "Wakanda?"

"Kang wants absolute possession of their Vibranium supply, since no more can be found in our home era. It might prove useful for the Project. This is also the perfect opportunity to stamp out the major resistance." Ravonna explained.

"But Wakanda has been off-radar for days." Nega told her.

"I am aware." said Ravonna while placing a hand on her regal hip, "That is why I have come in contact with one of their native peasants. He can help us infiltrate the nation once he comes to meet us. In the meantime, gather your forces. Wakandans are said to be among the fiercest warriors in history. It is time they are taught a lesson in humility." She grinned deviously upon her own eagerness to defeat the Wakandans.

BGM-Captain America: Civil War OST-Peggy's Parting Words

This is a very sad day for the Avengers. Steve Rogers, Captain America, the First Avenger, has been confirmed dead. The comatose heroes Rachel saved rest in a hospital and it will be a while until they wake up. Everyone else is in the middle of attending Steve's funeral. From his closest friends to his newest allies, the Avengers Alliance come together to mourn the loss of their greatest hero.

"We didn't come here to remember an Avenger, or a legend, or a soldier. We came to remember a man from Brooklyn, who gave his life trying to make the world a safer place, taken from us too soon. We will never forget our friend, Captain Steven Rogers." said Tony Stark, responsible for giving that heartfelt speech in front of a Vibranium statue made in Captain America's image.

The rest of the day is spent mourning, with Sharon Carter sobbing over her boyfriend's death, alongside Sharon Rogers grieving over the same man since he was her father, while both are being comforted by the equally-saddened Peggy Carter. "Death comes to us all…eventually." said Modern Knuckles, sharing a private depressive conversation with Boom Tails.

"I know…" Tails frowned, "Just didn't think it would happen to someone like Captain America. This…This is just terrible."

Nearby is Team RWBY, sharing their own mourning for their deceased hero. "I just…I refuse to believe this is real…" Blake somberly expresses her grief over Steve's death.

Weiss depressingly lowers her head whilst saying, "We've already lost so much in this war. Homes…Family…Friends…Now our hero."

"H-He CAN'T be gone! Cap couldn't!" Ruby expresses her great denial, "The others were found alive! If we just band together and search…!"

"Ruby…" That one word from a sorrowful Yang was the trigger for Ruby to give up hope and break down crying, crying in her sister's arms as they mourn together over the loss of a great hero.

Even the most heartless of villains like Apocalypse is displeased by such a hero's demise. "Though expected in war, losing a comrade is not easy to get over." He stated, standing beside Doctor Eggman.

"I'm surprised villains like you actually care." said Yu Narukami, approaching the villainous duo alongside Ryu.

"When you fight someone as pesky as Captain America for very long, you can't help but develop a measure of respect for them." Eggman claimed to have respect for the dead Super Soldier.

"Yes. His leadership embodied true strength, one that is rare across history. I will never forget his resolve." Apocalypse claimed sincerely.

Ryu nods, "That's kind to hear from you."

Close by, Cia and Stark have their small talk about Steve. "That was a noble speech, Stark. Worthy to be preserved in the Scrolls of History." The sorrowful Chronoan told him.

Stark takes a sip from his cup before replying with a depressive, "Pepper wrote it. I'm not very good with…sensitive. Even though Steve and I didn't always agree, I meant every word." He said from the bottom of his Arc Reactor.

Next to the Steve Rogers statue, Rachel gives her genuine apologizes to his successor from another era, Sam Wilson, the All-New Captain America. "As his successor, I deeply apologize for not saving your predecessor. If only I was a second faster, but I had to be careful so Kang and his minions wouldn't take notice my actions." said the Rosen Princess.

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-I Will Change My Destiny

"You did your best." Sam replied before sorrowfully, "But man, I just…I only started being Captain America in my era, like a few weeks. Still haven't settled in. Being around Steve made it easier. He's gone now…All I'm left with are the memories of my failures in this war. Failed to save Solkaria…and I wasn't there to save Washington. We're so close in losing this war…I don't think I'm cut out for this." He grieves, starting to believe he is not worthy of the title of Captain America.

"So you're just gonna give up? Steve wouldn't want ya to do that. None of us do."

Suddenly, eyes of all the heroes gathered are glued to the sight of Modern Sonic standing atop the shoulder of Steve's memorial statue as the only one who has stopped grieving. He knows everyone is depressed and having doubts that they can win this war, which is why he decided to take a stand to reignite their fighting spirit. "Look, I get it. We've had it rough these past few days, but this ISN'T the time to lose faith in ourselves. We CAN'T quit, especially when we still have friends and families that need us. Cap didn't quit when Red Skull played the world for fools with his Registration Act. And he didn't hesitate to fight Kang KNOWING he might not walk away. We didn't learn to be heroes from just anyone, y'know." He said, as his words begin to have a positive effect on his many friends. With a determined fist punching the air, Sonic continues his inspiring speech, "We won't stop until we've saved everyone Kang's captured! We'll never stop until we've honored the sacrifices of everyone who's fallen along the way! And we won't be through until we've kicked their emperial butts once and for all!" Then with pure confidence, he grins, "So let them keep pushin' us! We'll push right back!"

Hope has been re-infused to the hearts of every hero in attendance thanks to Sonic's words. There are some cheers from the local Wakandans while everyone else smile with renewed resolve like Sam Wilson. "Got that right! This isn't the time to wallow in self-pity. The world is still at risk, and we have some friends to avenge." The newly-hopeful Captain turns to Stark with orders, "Tony! Have your science team continue working on the A.F.P. in time for the counterattack! We can't mess this up!"

"Sure thing, Cap." saluted by the smiling Tony, acknowledging him as Steve's successor.

"Not bad, Sonic." said Ozma taking a step to speak with the hedgehog, "A speech like that would make one mistake you for a Captain America."

Smirking with embarrassment from that compliment, Sonic rubs his quills quipping, "Thanks. Now I know what to wear next Halloween." He chuckled.

Meanwhile in Damocles Base…

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Fu's Plot

"When will your Contact arrive?" asked Eggman Nega, with his group waiting for their newest ally to meet them inside the orbital command center.

Ravonna scowls, "He should've been here sooner. A lady does not like to be kept waiting."

And right on cue, her Contact enters the meeting room in the form of a large bulky black man in a white gorilla suit. His name is M'Baku, the Man-Ape and Head of the Jabari Tribe in Wakanda Island. He is one of the greatest warriors in Wakanda, and one of Black Panther's greatest enemies as he always seek opportunities to usurp his throne.

"Sorry I'm late. Do what do I owe the pleasure of being summoned by the mighty Chronos Corps?" asked Man-Ape, respectfully bowing before the Time Princess.

"We seek Wakanda's subjugation. In return, we will allow you to be its new king. So cooperate and give us the means to invade." Ravonna sternly ordered the villainous Wakandan.

M'Baku sinisterly chuckles, "Then I will not disappoint you with a plan in mind that will bring Wakanda to its knees from within." He smirkingly emphasized, believing this is his chance to finally defeat his nemesis and claim his nation as his own for the rest of time.

KFX Here: Surprised by how long this one is. But it's okay. The heroes needed the time to mourn and rediscover their resolve. They're on the losing ends of this war, but things might just turn around soon enough.

Braewriter of Rewriting: I know about the Justice League and Power Rangers (big fan of both, just not enough to add them to this series) if those were what you were referring to. Don't know what the heck a Linkara is.
