The Avengers Alliance just couldn't catch a break. First they lost the United States to Kang, then here're his forces trying to conquer Wakanda Island in a similar fashion by corrupting the landscape with their Solaris System. And then there's Steve Rogers, the Captain America they thought died two weeks, suddenly reappears but now going by the name, The Masked Captain. Without question, he obeys all of the Chronos Corps' dark orders. His prime objective: Killing his own friends.
"We have nothing to fear if we control Captain America!" said the grinning Ravonna Renslayer, watching the destructive despair their patriotic puppet is spreading throughout the battlefield, "The Man out of Time, viewed as your Greatest Avenger that you would despair over harming."
The Masked Maiden, Cinder Fall, laughs arrogantly at the heroes' despair while clashing with both Ozma and Modern Amy at once, "The Chronos Corps is unbelievably powerful."
"This is about to get interesting! Rage, old man! RAAAAGE!" yelled out by his controller, Eggman Nega, commanding him to go all-out against his fellow Avengers.
That order from his master causes the lenses of his Nega Mask to glow with dark rage, igniting Masked Captain with the devastating power to hurl his energy shield and send it ricocheting between heroes such as Hawkeye and Weiss, swiftly catching it to finish off a squadron of friends that includes Boom Amy, Blake, and Black Panther with a leaping, crushingly shield bash.
"Damn you, NEGAAAAAAA…!" yelled Tony Stark, as the Armored Avenger furiously fires missiles that are easily blocked by the mad doctor's energy shield.
"My, unusual from you. So the Iron Man INDEED has a heart." Nega smirkingly mocked his loving friendship with Captain Rogers.
"Captain America! PLEASE, WAKE UP!" shouted Ruby Rose, confronting her mentor while trying to snap him out of his mind control.
"You're being an eyesore, you little brat…DIE!" Her words fall on deaf ears as Dark Rogers surprises her by suddenly leaping into the air, torquing his body weight into a brutal kick to the chest that sends her flying into a wall.
Then out of nowhere, Steve's shield is pulled from his hands before those two are binded by familiar webbing, webbing that belongs to the Amazing Spider-Man landing on a car while posing with his shield. "Not a fan of the new look and shield, Cap. The classic red, white, and blue suits you FAR better." quipped Peter.
Coldly annoyed by his interference, Steve warps his shield back to his hand before swinging out a wave of dark energy that is narrowly evaded by the Webslinger. But that was simply to trick him into getting struck by a teleporting spin kick that knocks him underneath a large bridge, hurling his shield to destroy its supports so it may collapse, forcing Spider-Man to use all his strength just to hold it up, leaving himself wide open for a killing blow from Steve and his manifested energy gun. The split-second before he presses the trigger, he is swiftly disarmed and put in a full nelson by his girlfriend, Sharon Carter.
"HURRY AND TAKE OFF THE MASK!" Sharon shouted orders at Spider-Man, knowing the mask is what's controlling Captain America.
The Web Warrior narrowly rolls out of the collapsing bridge and web-zips toward his friend to free him from the corruption. Sharon struggles to keep her boyfriend still as Spidey reaches for his mask, but the power of the Mask won't let him try. It forces Steve to unleash a miasma of dark energy that frees its host whilst knocking the heroes back as a warning to not touch it again.
"Sharon!" shouted a nearby Peggy Carter, rushing alongside Modern Sonic to check on the wounded spy. "Are you alright?" She asked her niece.
Sharon grunts, "More pissed off that my boyfriend/your ex is under mind control by a talking egg…" as she's helped back on her feet, "He's not making it easy taking off that mask."
"We just need to get a little closer. Use more words than fists. Some items to remind him of who he truly is. I refuse to believe he's fallen to the Mask." expressed Peggy, having hope that Steve's true personality is still fighting against the corruption.
"I assume you have a plan?" Sonic asked.
Peggy nods at him, "Yes. And it includes you getting something." She said vaguely at first, which got the hedgehog both confused and interested in trying out.
Things are looking bad for the heroes fighting Masked Captain, but there are others still engaged in their own violent brawls. Cinder still holds her own against the combined forces of Modern Amy, Ozma, Ryu, and Sersi thanks to the power of her own Nega Mask. Her magic has ascended beyond normal limits, making her believe she is invincible and strong enough to rival an Eternal. Sersi tests out that theory by using her full cosmic power, with both combatants firing off massively powerful energy waves at each other, colliding in a brief, yet highly intense clash that ends in a tie and leaves behind a huge cloud of smoke.
The battle against Mephiles, however, seems to have ended with a swift loss for the heroes that were brave enough to face him. A badly-wounded Rachel Alucard was lying on the ground until she regained consciousness, spotting both Storm and Oscar also down for the count and Boom Shadow being held by the neck by the ruthless Mephiles. With an angry grunt at the demon, Rachel obliterates him with a powerful lightning bolt called from the sky to free Shadow before he is choked to death. But that only delayed the inevitable.
"It's futile…" The clearing smoke reforms into Mephiles giving a cold, taunting gesture to his two enemies, "I am the Universe's Ultimate Immortal Lifeform. You have no power that surpasses my own."
The annoyed Rachel grunts again, "He's a damn monster, made purely from energy. Having accumulated a near-bottomless reserve from these countless battles, he can recover in an instant and his strength rise to new heights."
"Do you have a plan?" asked Shadow.
"Do you? Because I know you won't listen to mine." Rachel snarked.
"Keep killing him 'til he runs out of energy. He deserves it for using me as a lapdog." retorted Shadow, returning to his Chaos Boost Mode before reigniting his duel with his doppelganger.

'Even if we had the strength and speed to reduce him to his primordial form, we won't be able to seal him away without the Nexus Being. She better wake soon…' thought Rachel, before those thoughts are briefly interrupted by the intense battle sounds against Masked Captain, 'And those Three Hedgehogs better survive their feud with the Captain.'
BGM-Captain America: Civil War OST-Clash
Speaking of the Masked Captain, it is becoming increasingly difficult to put him down when the heroes are desperately holding themselves back to avoid serious harm. Perhaps that is a mistake as Cap has no problem going all out against them, giving each of them brutal and unique takedowns. Modern Shadow's chaos powers mean nothing to his decades of combat experience. Silver's psychic powers can't compete with the dark power that possess him. Not even the combined might of Ragna, Hyde, and Narukami can overwhelm his defenses, absorbing their attacks with his shield and dish it back twice as painful.
"Go for his legs!" Weiss ordered a nearby Miles Morales to be the next person to attack.
Ultimate Spidey stick webs to both Steve's shield and ankle, pulling him towards a sliding kick to the face that knocks him back. As Steve runs to get his shield, Miles webs his hands and tries to pull him toward a glyph trap being set up by Weiss to immobilize him. Steve won't fall for a trap set by two kids as he grits his teeth for a spinning somersault that propels the screaming webslinger through the air until he crashes onto Weiss.
Suddenly, the Invincible Iron Man comes crashing on his corrupted friend with a jet-assisted slamming punch across the face, stunning him long enough so he may analyze his fighting pattern and properly counter his blows. "This armor knows your next move before you do, Steve. Just let me help you before you do something we'll both regret." pleaded Tony.
But surprisingly, through subtle time manipulation, Steve narrowly catches one of Tony's punches using one hand. "You think I'm going down to some pampered punk like you?" He taunted before using his other hand to grab his head and slam him to be kneed then kicked away.
Quickly, Tony recovers to blast him with more repulsors, but his shots were blocked by Steve rushing him with his shield up. The moment Tony fires right at it at point-blank range, the intense collision radiates a beautiful glow inbetween gauntlets and shield as their respective owners struggle to overcome the other.
"This is what you wanted, right Tony? A world where the heroes are used as tools for the government." Steve coldly taunted him of his support of the Superhuman Registration Act.
"This is not the world I wanted!" Tony retorted.
"Lies! You placed full support on the Registration Act!" Steve argued.
"I never supported friends fighting friends!" Tony snapped back, "You were willing to quit before it escalated to this! Come on, Steve! The world needs you! The Avengers need you to SNAP OUT OF IT!" He tried to persuade him, but his words and actions alone won't be enough to snap him out of his trance.
"Maybe this'll help!"
That familiar voice came alongside the classic vibranium shield that was thrown to break up the tension between Tony and Steve. It ricochets from the ground to a wall before it is caught by its new owner. That owner? Is none other than Modern Sonic the Hedgehog making a firm pose with it.
"That shield…You're not worthy to wield it." Steve snarls at the hedgehog for holding his old shield.
"Your ex thinks I'm worthy." Sonic quipped about him holding Steve's shield is part of Peggy's plan to save him, "And I think you're the most worthy to hold this!" He means that as a warning to his brand-new technique that he thought of on the fly. With the full force of his Sonic Boost, the Blue Blur replicates one of Steve's iconic techniques into his own, "Sonic…Charging…STAAAAR!", ramming at Steve with his own shield at supersonic speeds. Try as he might, not even the Masked Captain can withstand such tremendous force as he's pushed back across the city.
"Try to remember! You used this shield to bring hope to the world during the World War II!" The grunting Sonic shouted at his face while attempting to persuade him out of his trance, "You're a symbol to the nation! A hero to the world! You're CAPTAIN AMERICA, THE FIRST AVENGER! YOU were the one that taught me that a hero's spirit can accomplish anything! SO PROVE THAT TO ME! RIGHT NOW!" He finished, right as he smashed Steve into a sturdy wall.

BGM-One Piece: Pirate Warriors OST-Conflict and Pressure
Sonic leaps back to the vicinity of his many friends so they may carefully observe Steve's next move. That last attack proved to have done a number on him as Steve collapses onto a knee with a pained grunt, leaving him open for anyone that wants to save him.
"Quickly! The mask…!" shouted Peggy, volunteering to save him.
Agent Carter rushes alone to her ex-boyfriend, but that might've been a mistake. The eyes of the Nega Mask glows maliciously once more whilst forcing Steve to stand back up and charge up a massive energy blast that forces Peggy to stop and fear for her life. As Steve fires the blast at his ex, Tony yells, "PEGGY!" coming to her aid at the last second to block the attack with his own body.
The force of the attack was still devastating, blowing back Peggy and leaving Tony on the ground in critical condition. With his frenemy vulnerable, Steve rushes to pin him to the ground and pummel him with all of his dark strength until he smashed his helmet to pieces, revealing Tony's battered face. His armor's damaged, too weak to do anything but stare in horror as Steve gets his shield ready to deliver the killing blow toward the neck.
"CAP! STOP!" yelled Amazing Spider-Man, rushing and desperately hoping to stop this feud at the very, very last second.

But at that very last second, there was silence. Everyone watching stood motionless, shocked at what happened at that last second. Because in that last second, the unexpected happened. Steve himself stopped his own attack from reaching Tony, who was mere inches away from meeting a sad fate. The heroes around stepped closer to check on them both, to check what is going on in Steve's mind now.
Then, Steve struggles to say, "Tony…I won't do it…" before collapsing on both knees.
"CAP!" The Avengers Alliance shouted in great concern for their hero, with Ragna and Hulk preventing him from collapsing completely.
BGM-One Piece: Pirate Warriors OST-Courage and Power
Thanks to his friends and their endless love for him, Steve is beginning to break free from the Solaris Spell. With his own strength, and his patriotic willpower, Captain America fights through the painful power that consumed him until his hand grabs his Nega Mask and rips it off his face so he may crush it into pieces. And in that incredible moment, the Dark Aura fades from his body as his American colors return before he loses consciousness from his injuries.
"What?!" Mephiles expresses rare surprise upon witnessing firsthand of a mere mortal breaking free from the powers of Solaris.
"That Mask was fueled by the Solaris Power…Has his fate been broken…?!" exclaimed Eggman Nega, as he too is stunningly astonished by Cap breaking free from his mind control.
Hearing Nega's disappointment triggers an emotion deep in Modern Sonic's heart that is rarely expressed. That being an emotion of calm rage as he coldly turns around to face the villains with a death glare, and a speech, "No one has the right to control one's fate, nor let fate control them…!" As the hedgehog talks, his friends behind him also turn to give their enemies various stern and furious glares for what they tried to pull, "Only those who live freely on this world get to decide how their story ends!" Sonic takes several steps toward his enemies, "So…you, who tries to take away freedom from those people! I'll never let you get AWAY WITH IT!" He smashes his fists together with such fury to express just how done he is with the villains' antics, ready to settle the score with them at full speed.

Wakanda Medical Center
In amidst the war that is ravaging his home, a Wakandan Doctor is still doing his job checking up on his patients, one of them being the comatose Spider-Man 2099. He has been lying in bed for weeks, but all the shaking from the fighting outside is stirring him awake. His eyes blink several times, something that the Doctor quickly takes notice.
"He's waking up. Thank Bast." said the Doctor as he checks up on the now-awakened webslinger.
Miguel gets up from bed, rubbing the back of his head as he weakly groans, "Did anyone get the number of the airbus that hit me…?" Quickly, he realizes he has just awoken in unknown territory and in the presence of his doctor. "Huh? What the-?! Where am I?! Who are you?!" He asked defensively.
"Easy, my friend. You are safe here in Wakanda Island." The Doctor assured him.
"Wakanda…?" The shocked Miguel questioned.
"Yes. I am the doctor that has been treating you while you were comatose for two weeks, after your attack on Kang's base." replied the nice Doctor.
"Kang…Wait. Now I remember." Miguel thinks back to his team's failed attack on Damocles Base, "We managed to break through his forcefield, until we were caught in his stasis ray and blown to bits. At least, that's what it felt like."
"Luckily, you and your team were saved by Rachel Alucard. You can thank her later." said the Doctor.
Miguel casually scratches his ear quipping, "Sure, if I know what she looks like." before feeling the entire room shaking once again, making his question, "What's with all this trembling? Is the island under attack?"
Suddenly, the door into his room opens up for other awakened heroes such as Modern Tails, Captain Marvel, and Grimm Reaper. "Spider-Man, you're awake! And just in time!" said Tails, getting his friend's attention.
"Tails, and the others! Is everyone else okay? What's going on?" asked Miguel.
"The rest of us just woke up. Don't know the details, but it sounds like Wakanda is under attack by the Chronos Corps." Carol answered.
"They just don't quit, do they?" Miguel scowled, shaking his head in annoyance of their persistence.
"Fraid not, which is why we're heading out to force 'em to. Let's go!" Carol quickly runs out of the room, followed by Miguel and the others as they head out to assist in repelling the Chronos Corps invasion.
Back Outside…

BGM-One Piece: Pirate Warriors OST-Young and Clumsy V3
Black Panther shouted out orders to his Dora Milaje to have them evacuate Tony and Steve due to their injuries. Forcing two friends to nearly kill each other was the final straw. Since day one, since they were forced into war in Chrono World, the Avengers Alliance have suffered many many setbacks that resulted in countless death and destruction. But this is the turning point. This is where they are completely fed up with the Chronos Corps' heinous deeds and have gained a reinforced resolve to stop them once and for all, starting with Eggman Nega and his little band of temporal misfits.
Ruby takes a stern stand beside Modern Sonic, shooting a calm yet furious glare at the mad scientist that forced her mentors to a battle to the death. "Nega! You'll pay for this!" She declared coldly while her Crescent Rose transforms into its scythe form.
"Nega! Mephiles! Terminatrix! Cinder! I'M GOING TO DESTROY EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!" Sonic furiously declared, which startles, and perhaps scares, them all except for the emotionless Mephiles.
"No, I can't believe it…!" Nega scowled fearfully from his Egg Mobile, still in disbelief that Cap broke free from his control.
The two speedsters suddenly vanish without a trace until Nega is sent flying and crashing onto Cinder by a way-past-cool Blue Blur. The rosy Red Blur strikes Ravonna multiple times in a blink of an eye before the princess quickly delivers a chrono counter that knocks her out of her Semblance, right before Black Widow jumps in to land her a hand. Mephiles was thinking of intervening in the girls' fight but was distracted blocking an explosive flaming blow from a leaping Mario.
Having recovered quickly from that surprise attack, and after Cinder flicks him off her body, Eggman Nega flies back to the air more furious than before yelling, "I am the greatest genius in history! Those who oppose me WILL BE STOMPED OUT…!" He expressed before opening many portals beside him to summon an army of Chrono Corpsmen to assault the heroes.
"Do not get ahead of yourself, Doctor. Shuri, is everything ready?" Black Panther contacted his little genius sister.
'All defense and weapon systems are back online and ready to mess up their day.' quipped Shuri.
"Then let us show these intruders the TRUE might of Wakanda Island!" Panther declared eagerly for some good payback.
Under their King's orders, the Wakandan Army unleash the strongest counterattack the Chronos Corps weren't expecting at all. Series of auto-tracking laser cannons activate across the city, swiftly firing at the enemy air fleet and obliterating several ships a minute. Wakandan Soldiers modify their already impressive vibranium weapons with Chaos Drives to boost their power to terrifying levels that massacre the enemy to the point of scaring several to flee. Their most surprising counterattack then came in the form of several Chao raised by Black Panther himself and gaining his panther characteristics. They may be small, but these Panther Chao are just as skilled as the Dora Milaje, capable of smashing foes with a single impact and creating violent tornadoes by spinning really fast.
"ARE YOU KIDDING?! We're even being beaten back by CHAO?!" The surprised Nega commented on his losing battle. He becomes even more surprised when he notices the city has regained its barrier, effectively ending his airborne assault, "And they've regained their shields. When did I start losing the advantage here?" He growled sternly.
"Just give up!" Silver suddenly makes his presence known to his arch-nemesis, annoying him with such harsh words as, "You made the mistake trying to pit friends against each other! This time you're finished, Eggman Nega!"
Furious by his taunts, Nega throws a temper tantrum on his cockpit retorting, "Don't think I'm finished yet!"

With access to the Solaris System, Nega has himself flee into a portal before the likes of Lady Phoenix could stop him. "Where did he-?!" The ancient Avenger wonders where they escaped to and flies around a bit to sense them out, "Avengers, I am not sensing his presence anywhere on the island or this timespace. He may be hiding inbetween dimensions so he can ambush us."
Nearby, Hyde and Mayday Parker stand on a rooftop while they too search for the missing villain. "Can you figure out where he is with your weird headache tingles?" asked Hyde.
"Spider-Sense." May snarkly corrected him, "And just give me a sec. Need to focus-." Suddenly, she feels that familiar tingling sensation in her head, only that this sensation feels stronger than other times, "Whoa! Going overdrive in here! Something big is coming! Something-!" Out of nowhere, a massive portal cracks the air behind the startled teenagers as May shyly comments, "Very…very scary."
BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-Egg Wyvern
Erupting out of the portal is one monstrous black claw, then comes out another with the same design, as both are used to pull up the main massive, terrifying, robotic, and bulky body that has an overall fox design motif based on a certain Sankishin Unit that can slash time from Ragna's World. The body shares Eggman Nega's colors, with the armor and wired hair colored black with glowing yellow highlights, and with pauldrons sharing his grinning face. As the blazing red eyes of the mech begin glowing with malicious rage, so does its tremendous power, unleashing a monstrous roar so powerful, "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" it sends waves of energy that collapse skyscrapers and blow away both May and Hyde off their rooftop.
The two teens scream for their lives until they were caught by the large holographic baseball mitt conjured by Elsa Schnee, who gently lands them beside her and her little group consisting of Modern Sonic, Summer Rose, and Infamous Iron Man on some lofty ruins.
"Thanks for the hand." May punned, "NOW WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO BE?!" She frighteningly yelled out at the massive fox mech.
'Oh dear. The Nega Doctor was smart enough to build his own Susanoo Unit.' Rachel calmly chimes in through their comms.
"A what Unit?" questioned May.
'One of the God Machines of my world, capable of slashing time itself. This one may be a crude copy, but it seems to be drawing power from the Solaris System.' Rachel described.
'Careful, everyone! Fighting jerks like these won't be easy!' Ragna advised, having awful experience fighting wielders of the Susanoo Unit.
Sonic scoffs while cockily stretching his legs, "You worry too much, Rags. You know the old sayin', 'The bigger they are, the harder they FALL'!" He smirked while taking a fighting stance against the approaching Egg Susanoo.
Glaring down at the heroes that were foolish enough to confront his ultimate combat robot is Eggman Nega, hiding within a crystalized cockpit on the forehead of his mech. "You keep getting in my way no matter where I go in time, you irritating heroes! This time, I'll just have to take you all down to Hell myself!" He boasted his eerie confidence as his Susanno roars with intimidating rage once more.
Summer sternly materializes her dual kamas while retorting, "Likewise! We'll settle things here!"
Quickly, Egg Susanoo throws a mighty punch at the heroes, but they evaded for a counterattack starring Sonic. The Blue Blur climbs up the massive body with Homing Attacks until he reaches the cockpit delivering to it a ramming Spin Attack that is immediately deflected. The rest of his team continue fighting their hardest against Egg Susanoo, where none of their attacks seem to be wearing it down at all right before they are kicked up to the sky, then kicked again as they fall, with Elsa stuck on the side of a skyscraper.
Nega laughs, "You're crushed!"
But Elsa grunts, "Not yet!" before freeing herself. She constructs a hard-light attack helicopter that deploys a volley of construct missiles at Susanoo. Like before, her attacks don't make a dent, instead she notes they're being absorbed somehow to increase its strength.
"HERE I COME, AVENGERS!" Nega creates a large dark energy blade to slash the air with, unleashing a rupturing shockwave that narrowly misses Elsa leaping to safety but did slice through the skyscraper she was standing atop on like butter.
"None of our attacks are having any effect!" Hyde noted.
"It's because he used the vibranium he stole to reinforce its armor, absorbing damage to increase its abilities!" Elsa informed her teammates.
Egg Susanoo roars maliciously as it unleashes another deadly move, that in the form of unloading missiles from its pauldrons alongside a massive laser beam from its mouth. Using Cap's Shield, Sonic blocks as much of the laser beam as he can manage while the others fend for themselves, with May and Hyde dodging missiles with acrobatics and Doom and Elsa blocking the assault with energy barriers. Summer does her best evading missiles until a nearby explosion takes her by surprise, leaving her at the mercy of missiles seconds away from touching her.
But in a futuristic blur, Summer was swung away before the missiles collided. Her surprise savior being her awakened ex-boyfriend, Spider-Man 2099. "Spider-Man!? You're awake!"
"Hard to sleep with all this ruckus you're causing!" Miguel quipped.
Sum smirks, "Blame the mad scientist, not the beautiful dame."
Elsa was the first to notice the sassy duo reunite with the group as she says, "Good to see you up and about, Spider-Man. If you're awake, then that could mean-."
'Yo! Anyone miss us?' asked an awakened Boom Sonic the Hedgehog through their comms.
Modern Sonic grins, "Heh-Hey! Scarf Me!"
'We've got a plan! Just hold him off a little longer!' announced Captain Marvel.
Easier said than done when Egg Susanoo is capable of delivering a powerful kick that ruptures the ground, causing dark energy to rise and nearly sweep the heroes. "Right! Sure!" Hyde retorts sarcastically, not sure if they can hold him off any longer when their attacks are completely ineffective.
"Sum, Spiders, keep Nega still! Doom, have you scanned his vibranium? Use the countermeasures on Sonic's shield!" Elsa ordered.
Doom scoffs, "Fine." Following the Schnee's orders, both Miguel and May binds the massive mech's arms with the thickest webbing they can spin while its legs are frozen by Summer's magic. It won't stay still for long, which is why Sonic and Doom hurried into position for their combo. "Sonic counter signals have been calibrated!" The Infamous Anti-Hero fires specialized repulsors that reflect off Sonic's shield, striking the chest off the Egg Susanoo with enough sonic force to weaken its vibranium and have it collapse on a knee.
"Ooh! My vibranium!" The shocked Nega exclaimed.
"Hey, Nega! Is it over already?" Hyde smirkingly mocked him.
Nega snarls, "Damn you…I'm just getting started!" as his mech slowly stands back on its feet.
The heroes scowl, annoyed that their plan didn't last long. But it lasted long enough for the rest of Captain Marvel's awakened group to arrive in Wakanda's Royal Talon Fighter jets, with Infinite surrounding Susanoo with numerous gravity cubes to distract him.
"SONIC! HOP ON!" Modern Tails happily announces his presence to his best friend.
Sonic smiles, "Good to see ya awake, lil' bro!" before reuniting to share a bro-fist with his buddy in his jet, while everyone else aboard their own jet that flies towards the towering Susanoo.
"What's the plan with these explosives?" asked Hyde, noticing many explosive barrels within their jet.
"They're designed for vibranium mining. We're gonna crash them all to break his armor." Carol revealed their plan.
"CRASH?!" The surprised Hyde exclaimed.
"We'll jump." Carol quipped, "In three…two…"
All but Carol's Talon Jet splits off as hers is seconds away from colliding with the Egg Susanoo, making Nega wonder, "What are you…?" what reckless plan they have for him.
"JUMP!" shouted Carol, as the group inside her jet leap out of the Talon Jet just right before it kamikazes straight into the chest of the Egg Susanoo, nearly, and explosively, disabling its vibranium armor with enough force to knock it back several steps.
Captain Marvel, Modern Tails, and Grimm Reaper land on a skyway that's already occupied with an army of Wakandans and a group of heroes consisting of Hulk, Pit, Yu Narukami, Cosmic Ghost Rider, and Doctor Eggman piloting his Eggwalker. "A little reckless, don't you think?" Eggman snarks at the Captain's dangerous kamikaze plan.
"But it worked. His vibranium is useless!" Carol retorted.
"Now we can really beat up the pissed-off old man from the future piloting a walking death machine." quipped Grimm Reaper.
"Eggman Nega! Time to pay for manipulating the bond between friends!" Narukami fiercely declares at the damaged Egg Susanoo.
Nega furiously yells down, "SHUT UP! You really think you can beat ME?! One should know their place in this world!" before cracking open several rifts beside his mech to help him battle the heroes' army.
The second round against the Egg Susanoo quickly gets more intense than the first thanks to its summoned rifts. Through them Nega punches, claws, and blasts through hordes of Wakandans that refuse to bow to his will from a distance. Lots of good men and women die from his deathly assault, which only strengthens the army's resolve to end his madness quickly.
"In Bast's name, Wakanda will not fall! Keep fighting! Distract him for the Avengers!" shouted a Wakandan General.
With the Wakandan Army fighting the monstrous machine from all sides and angles, the heroes rush it with the most devastating blows. Such as Hulk hammering mighty punches to its chest, Ghost Rider and Pit obliterating its shoulder weapons, and Grimm Reaper and Narukami poking its eyes out. Carol and Tails double-team the cockpit with severe blows that quickly enrages Nega before he repels them with an electrical shock. But right after he repels those heroes, his cockpit is suddenly bombarded by a barrage of homing missiles fired by his own equally-villainous ancestor.
"How cruel. Attacking your own descendant." Nega sneers at his ancestor.
"I feel no remorse since I'm disowning you from the family." Eggman returns to him his own mocking retort.
"All to my benefit. Your embarrassment of a legacy RUINED me in the future! That'll be erased once I rewrite time to my liking!" Nega scowled, blasting his ancestor away, "I will crush you here and now, then place an Eggmanland throughout EVERY historic era so the world will forever worship the name 'Doctor Eggman Nega' until the VERY END OF TIME!"
To that end, Nega commands his mech to claw the air with such violent power that it opens a large timespace rift that is consuming everyone and everything in its range. "You're willing to break time and space just to open a theme park?!" shouted Carol while desperately struggling to not be consumed by his void.
"He's my future grandson! What did you expect?" Eggman quipped.
"Is there any way to close that rift?" asked Tails, also struggling to fly away from its powerful vacuum effect.
'With my recently completed A.F.P.!' Shuri cheekily chimed in, 'Give me a second!'
A second later, the large rift is sealed tight thanks to the Avengers Forever Program that Nega had no clue about and is now left bewildered, "Wha-? How did that close just-?" Then another second later, his mech is brutally smashed across a street by a furious Hulk, leaving it stun long enough for Carol to Binary and unleash her full power on it via a massive beam that fatally cripples it, "GAAAH! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?"
"This is it, Nega! Prepare yourself!" Carol threatened.
Through rage that he is now desperately trying to contain, Nega growls, "I won't let it end like this!"
Utilizing his Susanoo's remaining dreadful power, Nega unleashes one last assault on the entire city. His sanity is slipping and doesn't care if he's not targeting heroes specifically, for he will do whatever it takes to see them dead, making him a danger to even his closest allies. "Calm yourself, Doctor! You're endangering us all if you continue acting reckless!" shouted Ravonna, as her fight with Ruby and Black Widow was interrupted by his insane assault.
To end this madness right now, a small team comprised of Silver, Ragna, Weiss, and Agent Venom venture atop lofty ruins toward the crippled Egg Susanoo while communicating with Shuri. "We're near the robot!" said Silver.
'Opening a portal into its core chamber. Destroy it, and his mech should be taken down entirely! Hurry before he gets us all killed!' Shuri urged them.
Using their AFP, Shuri opens a portal ahead of Silver's squad. As they jump through it, they seamlessly found themselves in a large circular chamber containing the massive energy core of the Egg Susanoo. "There! The core!" Ragna noticed.
"Good! Been dying for payback since the time he kidnapped me into space!" scowled Weiss, having not forgiven Nega during that total mayhem some time ago.
"Then let's get wild, and bring out the big guns!" Venom encouraged his girlfriend while pulling out a rocket launcher from his symbiote.
It became a glorious spectacle as each hero just go crazy with attacks in a variety of awesome ways. Ragna goes directly berserk on the core, with Weiss firing at it from a distance, Silver ripping portions off the chamber to throw at it, and Venom being all guns blazing while causing an explosive mess that further damages everything.
"My suit…it's FAILING?!" Nega took notice of his decreasing power levels, projecting a screen into the core chamber to shockingly find his enemies destroying it, "SILVER! Why do you keep GETTING IN MY WAY?!"
"Answer's really simple: To bring peace to the future." Silver sternly answered, "You've caused enough damage to the timestream since you first unleashed Iblis onto the past. This is the end of the line for you!"
"You're the one going straight to Hell, Doc!" declared Ragna, reeling his sword back for the final blow on the core, "YOU ALL READY?!"
Each hero gets ready in their own way, with Weiss preparing her glyph, Venom erupting into his Rage Mode, and Silver powering his psychokinesis to maximum power. Following Ragna's lead, the team combine their powers into one devastating blow that completely smashes the core into nothing. Without the core, the mech begins falling apart from the inside out. Fortunately for Silver's team, a portal opened by Shuri allows them to safely evacuate, leaving Eggman Nega to his own humiliating fate
"Defeated? Impossible! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Eggman Nega furiously roared out as his beloved Egg Susanoo collapses into many many explosive pieces scattered on the streets.

The Chronos Corps has all but been defeated in this Wakandan battlefield. Some continue to fight on, while most have decided to surrender. Eggman Nega isn't one of the surrendered, having somehow survived the destruction of his own gigantic mech with a roasted mustache and bloody scratches. He huffs and huffs, trying to regain his composure while protected by his own men and robots, trying to think of some possible way to turn this hopeless situation around.
"There's nothing left I can do…" Except there is one thing left he can do. A very risky, reckless idea that will easily endanger his own life as well, but he doesn't care about the consequences. He just wants revenge and destruction. And so, with a devilish smile, he takes out a small device that serves a single purpose, "I shall push the Solaris System to its greatest strength!"

And with just a push, Nega activates the device. He links his entire army to the Solaris System, purposely overloading everyone with Sol Power to the point they ravage crazily across the battlefield. Some of them try to go crazy on the combined forces of Doctors Eggman and Octopus, and were swiftly taken care of before the two take note of the worrisome situation.
"Does your grandson not know the situation he has put us in?" Ock asked his partner.
"SHUT IT DOWN, NEGA! The Solaris System is still incomplete! Pushing it past its limits at this delicate stage could cause a catastrophic temporal collapse!" Eggman frightenedly pleaded with his descendant to stop before the situation spirals out of his control.
But unfortunately, the situation has quickly grown out of control. Despite Nega's desperate attempts, he can't shut down the Solaris System remotely as several of his own Sol-empowered soldiers tried attacking him, having lost themselves to Solaris' rageful power. "What's going on!? The control is not working!" He annoyingly noted, repeatedly pressing on the device in vain.

Startled by that sudden and demonic growl, Eggman Nega glances around for the source until he finds himself consumed by an Eye of Solaris that appeared beside him. Immediately after, more Solaris Eyes appear throughout the city consuming other Chronos Corpsmen, including Ravonna and Cinder amidst their fights. Mephiles takes note of this strange phenomenon before recognizing the growl belonged to, "Iblis…Contain your anger just a little longer. We still need these fools for the grand finale." He muttered before retreating into the darkness.

The Chronos Corps have retreated without a trace, leaving this victory to the Avengers Alliance. But the way they earned this victory was ominous, straight to the point of eerily worrisome as noted by Modern Sonic trying to track at least one of them down, "Where is Eggman Nega…? There's no one here…!" He scowls, "Darn it! We've got to follow them…!"
"Relax, Blue Hedgehog."
Suddenly, Sonic is greeted by Rachel, who is accompanied by both Cia and Boom Shadow. "You…Rachel! Shadow! And Cia!" He responded to the sorceresses.
Rachel says, "Even if you try to pursue, they've already disappeared. You've surely already exceeded the limits of your strength. I thought by joining this Alliance, everything would be taken care of smooth and quickly, but it looks like its not so simple…"
"How come?" Sonic questioned.
"Eggman Nega caused the Solaris System to grow out of control and is shredding open rifts in spacetime throughout Chrono World." Cia explained, "As the rifts grow more dangerous, we take a step closer to the Day of Disaster."
"The world is now in a state of chaos. If this war isn't resolved soon, then all timelines will collapse into nothing." Rachel added more fuel to this ever-growing temporal catastrophe.

"Well, that looks to be the case."
And to the surprise of those in the vicinity, a revived and non-corrupted Captain Steve Rogers reunite with his fellow heroes alongside an armorless Tony Stark. "Cap! Are you alright?" Sonic asked his restored friend.
Steve smiles at the little hedgehog, "Thanks to you and everyone else. Sorry for causing everyone so much trouble."
"I'll say. You're lucky I'm nearly done building a new suit." Tony quipped.
"Sorry for trashing the old one, Tony." Steve apologized.
"Just messin' with ya, Steve. Being dead for two weeks and under mind control for several hours didn't seem to have upgraded your sense of humor." smirked Stark, as he's just happy to be reunited with his best friend.
"Now that you are awake, Captain, I want to formally ask you if I am allowed into your 'Avengers Alliance'? I could be useful. I'm also recommending this Shadow to join as well." Rachel requested to the super soldier.

Steve smiles to her a warm, "Welcome! The more allies now the better! Heard you saved most of us from Kang and just helped save Wakanda."
"Shadow, you're finally okay with this?" asked Sonic, having learned just enough that this Shadow is fiercely more independent than the others, yet now seem to be reluctantly on board with teamwork.
Boom Shadow scoffs, "Don't be mistaken…the reason I'm not arguing this time is so I can hurry and settle the score with Mephiles and Kang. What happens to the world is no concern of mine, but I promise the Chronos Corps WILL be crushed! After they are, I'll settle things with your counterpart on MY terms."
Tony chuckles, "Aren't you an assertive little hedgehog?"
While Sonic happily grins, "That's fine! Shadow, Rachel, please join us!" before scowling, "At any rate, now we've got to find Kang's base! His gang won't get away next time!" He declared to settle the score with the Chronos Corps in the next, and possible final battle.

KFX Here: Chrono World is running out of time, literally. Meaning the final battles that'll decide the fate of the timestream are FINALLY coming! What good timing, since I just watched the multiversal marvel that was Spider-Man: No Way Home at the time this was published. Good film, easily my favorite of the MCU Spider-Man movies so far. I highly recommend it. Anyway, I'll see if I can squeeze in one more chapter before the year runs out. See ya!
