Toxic

Baby can't you see

I'm calling

A guy like you should wear a warning

You're dangerous

I'm falling

.

There's no escape, I can't wait

I need a hit, baby give me it

You're dangerous

I'm loving it

.

Too high, can't come down

Losing my head, spinning round and round

Do you feel me now?

Dylan opened his front door to find Kelly behind it.

"I came to apologise." She breathed out as soon as the door swung open.

"Well, well. The shoe's on the other foot." Dylan smirked, pulling her into the house.

"I was out of line." She said once she stood in the living room. "It's not fair to say what I said. The truth is, I can understand. Some people come into your life to give you hope when you've hit rock bottom. I know exactly how that feels..."

"Steve definitely took care of me after I gave Cameron up. I went to stay with Jackie for a while, and he visited me frequently. It felt nice. Having an old friend who cared about you so deeply. Even when I was well enough to move back in with David and Donna, Steve and I had been through so much together by then. I don't think he ever forgot about those nights in the hospital... He came over for movie nights, and eventually I started smiling again. And thanks to Steve, I started laughing again.

It was just so great to be around someone who made me laugh. I hadn't in so long. And just like that, one night, one too many glasses of wine and he kissed me. He told me he loved me... I know he said that every year, but this time... This time I really appreciated it.

So I agreed to give us another chance; after all, the way he'd been there for me made me feel secure. We had some great times, and then I was pregnant. And of course, as soon as I told Steve, he suggested we get married. And I obliged.

Maybe I wasn't madly in love with him, but I do love him. I guess it wasn't enough though... Slowly things changed... he started working more, we had no passion. We were just two people who cared deeply for one another, who were also so used to each other's company. I almost commend him for going after what he wants now."

Dylan stood there, hands in his pockets. She didn't have to tell him this, but he appreciated it.

"You know... " He slowly walked over to her, "When I found out Cameron was mine. I saw you in his eyes too. And I knew I'd always feel a certain way about you."

She shot him a faint smile. It may have been bittersweet, but it still felt good to know that those feelings were still there.

"So... what now?" He caught her gaze.

"We..." She almost closed the gap between them, making them both feel a little nervous. "make the most of the simple life." She smiled.

He looked into her glistening eyes. She looked right back into his. They held each other's gaze. That gaze expressed their sorrow and passion without needing any words. She reached up and stroked his cheek - it felt good to touch him even for a second.

He stared at her. Taking her all in...Maybe the last time he'd get to do so. Mesmerized by the way her hair flowed down her shoulders, gawking as he watched her mouth once she spoke. For that brief moment, they felt those old sparks. "Your girl is lovely, Hubbell." She stated.

"...You watched the movie!" He smiled softly.

"I did." She smiled back.

Pamela had dragged Thomas out to a Beach bonfire that the junior class were having to kick off the summer vacation.

"We've already lost Dan and Del." Thomas sighed

"They're around here somewhere." Pamela assured, "Come on." She urged, grabbing his arm and dragging him to the bar.

After they got a round of drinks in red plastic cups. They struggled to enjoy their drinks with everyone dancing around them.

"You want to go sit somewhere quiet?" He asked and she nodded.

They made their way down to the end of the beach where the music had faded.

"Some party." Pamela said while getting comfortable in the sand

Thomas pulled out a joint from his wallet. "It is now." He winked. Pamela gasped and grinned.

He lit it up and laid down, watching the stars. After taking a puff, he handed it over to Pamela. "Want some?" She smiled and took it from him.

She inhaled and coughed.

"That's alright." He patted her back, "You'll get past that stage." He grinned. She grabbed her drink and held it up.

"A toast!" She exclaimed "To summer!"

"To summer." He chuckled, lifting up his cup. Just as they were about to take a sip, an intoxicated adolescent couple bumped into them, pouring the drinks over Pamela and Thomas.

"Oh my god. We're so sorry!" The couple gasped.

"It's alright." Thomas observed his wet t shirt.

"Really?" The girl asked

"Yeah, it's fine." Pamela sighed. Once the couple walked off, both Pamela and Thomas started laughing.

"Wanna go wash it off?" He asked, gesturing over to the sea. She nodded.

Pamela lifted her head up above the water, hoping the salt water had rinsed out all the alcohol from her hair. Just then Thomas came up behind her. Splashing her.

"Hey!" She ordered

"It was an accident!" Thomas played coy

"Oh really?" She mocked. She then splashed him back.

"Oh is that how it is?" He warned, and she shrugged. He then swam over to her. To protect herself she attempted to push him under water, but he was stronger and managed to push her under first.

Once they both came up for air, they were in hysterics. They laughed and jokingly splattered around; he grabbed her hand to stop her from splashing. Then, without thinking, she leaned in and kissed him.

He paused, pulling his head back to look at her. "You sure?" He asked, and she nodded. She leaned in again. He looked softly into he eyes, and then leaned in until their lips met.

Dylan didn't have much to do now that he was alone in the house. He tried to clean up a bit, knowing Brenda would appreciate it if she came back to a tidy house at the end of summer. So as he was putting laundry in the closet, he found a box at the bottom. He pulled it out and started to rummage through his things. He realized that many of his memories were in this box. Brandon must have put it there when he asked him to lock up before he left the country. Brandon clearly knew Dylan could never part with this house. Before leaving the key in Jack McKay's storage unit, he must have placed all of Dylan's mementos in this box.

Dylan first found his baseball cap and bat, then he found a photo album. It was all his childhood memories. Pictures of him and Jack, a couple of Iris, one in school with Kelly and Steve when they were tiny. As he turned the page, the pictures resembled his journey. There was him and Brenda at Spring Fling, him and Brenda again as Bonnie and Clyde for Halloween, him and the Walshes, the whole gang together, and of course plenty of Nat and the events at the Peach Pit.

There wasn't a single reminder of his relationship with Kelly. He then remembered that he removed every photo of her. But he couldn't bring himself to rip them up and throw them out. So instead, he put them in a separate photo album.

He began to dig through the box again until he found it. And there it was. An album filled with every picture of his and Kelly's life together. The summer they fell in love, Prom, Graduation, Most Handsome and Most beautiful, and of course all the polaroids they took in college when they lived together.

He looked at picture after picture until he got to the end. The last picture had him frozen. He pulled it out of the album and threw it in the trash.

He then got up and began to search for what he saw in the picture: The open black box with the engagement ring in it.

It wasn't in the cardboard box, so where was it? He started to get restless. He had to find it.

After turning his home upside down, he stumbled upon an envelope at the bottom of one of his drawers. It had Brandon's handwriting.

-Return it, asshole.-

Dylan read and laughed. He laughed because if the shoe was on the other foot, in an alternate universe, he probably would have said the same thing.

He opened it and there it was. The engagement ring he bought when he asked Kelly to elope in college.

Once he found the ring, he started to get a headache. Suddenly he felt he was hallucinating. He looked around and saw himself and Kelly on the bed, eating strawberries and cream. He then pictured them making love that one last time when Cameron was conceived. I must be going crazy... He thought.

He shook his head, and then spotted another version of himself and Kelly cuddling on the porch. What the hell? Why is this happening? I'm not thinking about her! We let each other go! He pleaded with his own mind.

He got up and headed to the bathroom to splash some water on his face. There was Dylan and Kelly having a bubble bath. He splashed water on his face, and started to shiver. He ran out the bathroom and headed into the kitchen where he found another Kelly sitting on the kitchen counter, while Dylan made pancakes with strawberries- something they did every Sunday morning.

Then he looked in the hall and another Kelly and Dylan were dancing while she waited for the pasta water to boil.

He was suddenly surrounded by Dylans and Kellys, and all the memories they made.

I gotta get out of here!

He grabbed his wallet and ran out.

Kelly tossed and turned in bed that night, trying to fall asleep. She was woken up by the doorbell. She looked at her phone to check the time and groaned. She eventually got up to open the door. She found Dylan behind it.

"Hi." He whispered, fidgeting nervously

"What are you doing here?" She asked

"I don't know..." He gazed into her eyes. "I just... I've been thinking about you a lot and I just - I just need-" In that moment, he realized he couldn't hold it in any longer, and in one quick motion he grabbed her and pulled her in for a kiss. They made out all the way to her bedroom.

(Mildly Mature) He picked her up, her legs wrapped around his waist. Her head fell back as he kissed her neck. Her sweet, soft moans expressed the immense pleasure she felt. He lowered her to the bed and slumped himself over her. His mouth trailed down to her breasts. Leaving her hypnotized by his touch. She urged him to make love to her, and he obliged. As he entered her, her hands scratched his back as she screamed out heavy moans.

Kelly couldn't take her eyes off of him. The way his messy bed hair fell naturally still looked like he walked out of a magazine. She grew weak at the sound of his voice calling her "Kel" in that sexy drawl of his. The way his hands caressed her, how he sunk his fingertips into every inch of her skin. She had wanted it for so long, she could barely keep from screaming his name. He made love to her the way only Dylan McKay knew how. It was official, only they could drive each other this wild. Locked in their passionate embrace, unable to hear or see anything but each other.

Just as they were both about to climax...

Kelly woke up. Realizing there was no one beside her, it was all a dream. She groaned throwing her head back onto the pillow. She sighed and pulled her blanket over herself, hoping to fall back to sleep and return to her dream. But before she could close her eyes, the doorbell rang.

"Hi." There he was. Dylan.

It's getting late to give you up

I took a sip from my devil's cup

Slowly, it's taking over me

.

With a taste of your lips, I'm on a ride

Your toxic, I'm slipping under

With a taste of a poison paradise

I'm addicted to you, don't you know that you're toxic

.

And I love what you do

Intoxicate me now

I think I'm ready now.
