Johnnygat016: i guess i'm relieved that there's still people who enjoy reading this fanfic, i want signora to be back for a moment, just to remind how strong Aether was now after the last time they fought.

Chapter 3: Deep Blood.

It was now 2:00 PM in the afternoon. After the eventful system scan, Kotaru, Aether, Amber, and Paimon leave the lab after saying goodbyes to Kotaru parents. Kotaru decide to bring them to where they will spent their nights from now on.

While they're on their way towards Touma's dorm, they suddenly heard someone shouting a few meters, saying, "GET OFF OF ME KUROKO!" And a bluish white electricity roared through the sky.

The group look towards where the sound was coming from, apparently they saw a group of 4 girls together at that time. When Kotaru looked better, he figured out that it was his friends and his girlfriend there. Seeing his friends were there, he informed Aether, Paimon, and Amber in confirmation, "Oh, those are my friends right there."

"Oh, those are your friends?" Amber asked.

"Yep."

"Shall we go meet them?" Amber asked.

Kotaru nodded and replied, "Oh sure, let's go." The group approach the group of 4 girls. After they get closer, Kotaru greeted with a wave, "Hey everyone."

"Ah Hikari-san/Kotaru-kun." The girls excluding Kuroko, who is still on the floor being fried by Mikoto greeted.

"Usual things between Misaka and Shirai happrned?" Kotaru asked.

Mikoto crossed her arm as she replied, "Yeah, just Kuroko with her usual pervertness towards me."

Ruiko noticed that Kotaru wasn't alone, there are three people right beside him with all of them dressed really different from the others, so she asked her boyfriend, "Kotaru-kun, who are these people with you right now?"

"Oh yeah that's right." Kotaru immediately gesture his hand towards Aether, Amber, and Paimon as he introduced, "Everyone, this is Aether, Amber, and Paimon. Apparently these three came from tevyat, the world where our vision was coming from.."

"Hello." Aether greeted.

"Nice to meet you Hikari's friend." Amber greeted as well.

Misaka greeted the newcomer, saying,"Hello, it's nice to meet three of you. My name's Misaka Mikoto."

"My name's Uiharu Kazari." Uiharu introduced.

"My name's Saten Ruiko and i'm a vision user just like Kotaru-kun." Ruiko introduced as she showed her vision.

"It's nice to meet all of you." Aether, Paimon, and Amber replied as they thought in unison when they looked at Misaka, 'why does her voice almost the same as eula?'

Suddenly Paimon broke from her thought when she realised, "Wait, you say you're also a vision user just now?"

Ruiko nodded and answered, "That's right! Here is the proof." She pointed out her vision which is located on her left arm.

"Just how many people in this world does have a vision?" Paimon asked.

"Just three people, that's including myself and my friends." Kotaru counted, he looked atound and noticed that his best friend wasn't here, "By the way, Where is Hondo? I haven't see him at all."

"Kowada-san is currently with Kamijou-senpai, buying some school supplies, " Uiharu explained, "and Index-san also decide to hang out with them."

"And because of that, we don't even know what to do today." Kuroko muttered.

"Haha, that's too bad for you girls." Kotaru chuckled as he replied.

"Oh yeah, four of you are also espers right? So what is your level?" Amber asked.

The middle schooler girls looked at each other, they asked who should go tell them first. Apparently, Ruiko decide to tell them first, "I'm a level 0 esper. And have a vision just like Kotaru-kun."

"I'm a level 1 esper with my power called thermal hands." Uiharu tell them next.

"I'm a teleporter and i'm also classified as a level 4." Kuroko introduced her level and her power.

"My power is an electro master and i'm classified as a third tank level 5." Mikoto said, pointing her finger upwards and create a dmall of electricity from her finger.

"Misaka is a level 5 just like Aether then." Amber informed.

"Wait, Aether-san was a level 5 as well?" Uiharu asked.

"Yep, i'm a level 5 from today," Aether said proudly, "And i was positioned as eight ranked level five with my power called Star constellator."

"That's a really cool name." Ruiko said, her eyes and uiharu sparkling.

"It deffinitely was, could you please show us your power please?" Uiharu begged, showing her cute eyes.

Aether chuckled at Uiharu cute expression, but he decide to do it and saying, "Sure, I don't mind." Aether take a few step from the group before ge stopped and facing them. Aether closed his eyes as he focused himself on using his power again. A yellow aura started to flowing out from his body. Slowly, 4 light orbs spawned and floating and spinning around Aether just like what he did on the earlier system scan.

Everyone who haven't seen this were rather stunned, not only witness a power that's looks gorgeous, also a power that's from another world as well.

"Woaahhh" the girls looked at Aether amazed by the display.

"Amazing right?" Amber said proudly.

Mikoto nodded, "That's true, it's really cool but how does your power works Aether-san?" Seeing Aether's power was something that Mikoto never seen so she wanna know how does it work.

Aether put a hand on his chin and answered, "Since Kotaru said that Esper power comes from the reality that we create on our own, so i tried to made one and you know the rest. I just don't know how to explain this, but i awaken this power for the first time when i was fighting a god of lightning and i used it by focusing myself to feel the ambition of so many vision users."

Something made paimon realized what Aether means, so paimon asked, "So that was the power you've used when you fight Ei for the second time?" Paimon didn't get the chance to enter the plane of euthymia when that happened so she figured that was the power that Aether used.

Aether nodded and answered, "That's true, but i think it would be the best if i don't always used that power."

Amber put both her hands on the back of her head as she replied, "I agree Aether, you already did great without using those power."

"Anyway, you girls wanna come with us? I wanna bring these three into their dorm now." Kotaru offered.

Mikoto nodded and answered, "We would love to. Better than walking around aimlessly."

With that settled, the group made their way towards where their dorm was. Fortunately, their dorm room was located on Touma's dorm and was right beside Touma's room, so the girls could also helped guiding the tevyat trio, head towards a certain dormitory.

After walked for a few minutes, Mikoto noticed Touma with Hondo and Index, hutching on a cardboard box under a tree, she pointed out as she asked, "Hey, isn't that that idiot there with Index and Kowada-san?"

The group looked at where mikoto was pointing and they indeed saw Touma with Index and Kowada. For Aether, Amber, and Paimon, they never know about them but they figured that those three were their friends, but everyone decide to approach them.

"Kamijou-san, Index-san, Kowada-san." Ruiko called as they run towards them.

Touma and hondo turned his head to the right and saw their friends approach them, so they waved their hand as they greeted, "Oh hey guys."

"Hi kamijou-senpai, what are you three currently looking at right now?" Uiharu asked in curious.

"We just find an abandoned cat on the cardbox here," Hondo replied, point his finger towards the cat, "And index begged Kamijou to allow her to keep it."

"And of course i can't allowed her." Touma said instantly.

"But why?" Index begged, "Why don't you allow me to pet Sphinx?"

"Originally, we're not allowed to have pets on student dormitories, so sphinx..." Touma replied as he realised, "Hey, don't just give him a name already!"

"I don't care!" Index yelled, "Besides, Kotaru is also a student and does also have his seelie as his pet so why can't i also have sphinx as my pet?"

"It can't be helped since i was forced to have Junto as my pet." Kotaru instantly replied.

"Whatever the case, I want to pet sphinx!" Index said loudly.

"No means no!" Touma repeated.

"I wanna, I wanna, I wanna!" Index said, throwing her temper tantrum.

"She's not gonna give up for sure." Paimon said, covered her ears due to how loud index was.

Everyone only could watch them awkwardly with Touma still try to rejected index begging for her lives to pet sphinx. Amber and Aether just met Touma and index, but somehow they got entertained by the display of those two. Unfortunately, the calico cat can't really take it anymore due to how loud Index shouting was so the cat decide to jumped out of the box and leaving the grup with everyone just stunned by watching the cat leave.

"Look, you scared it away!" Touma noted.

"It's your fault Touma!" Index claimed as she began to walked towards the direction where the cat run away, but she stopped when she realised that there's a new face on the group, so she asked, "Wait a minute, who are these people with all of you?"

Touma and Hondo looked at the group and they just noticed that there are more people than just their friends with them.

"I didn't realised there's someone else with you guys." Hondo admitted.

"Same here, so who are you guys?" Touma asked.

"Kamijou-senpai, Hondo," Kotaru began to talk, "Let me introduce, this is Aether, Amber, and Paimon, they come from a world that we just heard a few weeks ago, tevyat."

"They're from tevyat? The world where the mysterious package you got come from?" Touma asked in disbelieve.

"Yep, that's the one." Kotaru confirmed.

"So.. can you introduced us about these three?" Amber asked.

"Oh sure," Kotaru replied, he point his finger towards each of them, "This childish nun name was Index, the purple haired one was My best friend, Hondo Kowada, and This black spiky hairguy is Kamijou Touma, he is the misfortunate one in our group."

"Misfortunate?" Aether repeated

"Yep, this idiot is the most unlucky person all of us have met," Mikoto pointed out, "Misfortun always followed him wherever he goes, he always ran into problems everytime and everywhere he go."

"We know someone that's unlucky like him as well in our world." Paimon pointed out.

Touma raised his eyebrows, he never know there's someone unlucky just like him in another world, "Unlucky just like me?"

"That's right," Aether answered, "Not only that, some people specifically hated him cuz his bad luck."

Hearing this, everyone especially Touma can't help but to felt pity about it. It reminded Touma the time before Touma actually transfered on Academy City where the people on his hometown tried to avoid him cuz of his bad luck that might affected them, even he got stabbed by a guy whose company got bankrupt and his son got killed in an accident when playing with Touma.

"Hey, when you three finally able to go back to your world, tell him from the unluckiest guy in this world that even with no matter how unlucky he is, don't lose your faith and always kerp going ahead." Touma requested.

Aether nodded, "We will."

"We will tell him about it." Paimon accepted.

Everyone had a smile on their faces, they know that Touma is the most unlucky boy in this world, with the knowledge of someone unlucky from another world made Touma felt symphaty about this person from Aether's world.

Index suddenly dropped her smile when she felt a magicsl energy, she exclaimed, "Huh? I sense a flow of magical energy gathered nearby."

"Huh?" Everyone asked, suprised by what index just said.

"It's element was earth attribute, it's color is green, could the formula was from a rune?" Index pondered as she walked off.

"Oi, index!" Touma called out.

"Where are you going index?" Ruiko asked.

"I think someone set up a magic circle around here somewhere!" Index said as she looked back while still running, "I'll be back to Ruiko's dorm later."

Touma, Hondo, Aether along with the girls excluding Amber and paimon could only sighed after Index was out of sight. Mikoto complained, "Jeez that girl, going slone like that."

"I know right, i hope she manage to get back with nothing bad happened." Touma hoped that Index didn't get herself in a trouble.

"I agree." The group agreed.

Aether turned to Kotaru and asked, "Anyway, Index just magic just now right? Does magic actually exist?" Aether knows about esper power, but he haven't heard about power called magic at all.

Kotaru scratch his cheek as he answered aether's question, "About that.. magic does actually exist. Apparently this world has two side of supernatural power which is science side and magic sides. For the science side, the esper power does count on the science side since their power could be logically explainable while magic is the opposite because their power based from myyhologies and esper wasn't allowed to use magic because when they do, they will get injured badly."

"So it's the opposite for magician can't used esper powers right?" Aether asked.

"That's right, that's the basic gist of it." Kuroko confirmed.

"What the hell?" Touma asked in shock.

Everyone looked at Touma and he looks like he has a suprise expression on his face while he's looking at the street.

"Senpai, what's wrong?" Uiharu asked.

"Everyone, is it just me or the area around us felt different now?" Touma asked.

Everyone looked around and they think that Touma's right, the area around the felt different than usual.

"You deffinitely right, the atmosphere felt... Different." Paimon said as she felt chills running down her spines.

"And the streets abnormally empty." Kuroko pointed out.

Kotaru, Ruiko, and Hondo immediately realised what actually happened, Ruiko informed the group, "Everyone! This is a people clearing field spell."

"This is a spell that Stiyl once used to confront us when we try to go to the local bath house at that time." Kotaru continued.

Because of Aether and Amber experience in fighting, they pulled out their weapons and be on guard. They know that there might be someone strong gonna come towards them. Kotaru and the group also raised their guard as well.

"I guess all of you sharp as ever eh?" A voice everyone except the tevyat trio recognized said, "i guess all of you does looks like ready for the worst."

The group turned around which is where the sound was coming from. The group saw stiyl standing a few meters away with a smug face in front of them.

"It's been a while, Kamijou Touma and the group." Stiyl magnus greeted.

"Who is that guy? I could tell he's really scary just by looking at him." Paimon asked quietly.

However, paimon didn't get her answer as everyone went silent because of shocked seeing the magician in front of them. Touma remembered the time when he ecountered stiyl a few times. Judging by the way he talks, Touma figured that there's something important that stiyl wanted to discussed with him.

"What do you want, Stiyl?" Touma asked, "Judging from you, there's a favor you need from us."

"You're deffinitely right about that," Stiyl admitted.

"What do you want now Stiyl magnus?" Mikoto asked.

"And where's index?" Kuroko demanded for an answer with her pins on her hands.

"Don't worry about her, she told all of you that she went to investigate a magic circle right?" Stiyl deduced, "I don't have any itention to fight you espers."

Stiyl pulled out a rune.

"But it doesn't mean i won't attack that boy."

Stiyl just threw the rune card towards Touma, which have transformed into a burst of flames. Before Touma could react, Aether immediately sprint ahead, jumped to the air and spin his body on the air in order to create a tornado around him and throw the tornado towards the flame and the fire got absorbed by the wind which has create a fire tornado. Stiyl dodge to the left in order to avoid the tornado.

"Nice moves." Touma praised.

"Not suprising for me since i did that as well with my wind and fire power." Kotaru admitted.

'This guy really did good, maybe Aleister was right about these newcomer from another world.' Stiyl thought to himself.

"Good, it's better for all of you think our relationship like this." Stiyl mused, he reach his hand inside his robes.

"You know, attack use with one of those runes again will be your death sentence." Mikoto said, spark flow out of her bangs.

"Don't worry, it's not a trap or anything, it's just something that i want to discuss with all of you." Stiyl explained, he revealed a envelope file and raised the file above his head and several pages began to flow out from the envelope and began circling the envelope for everyone able to see.

"Does any of you have heard about Misawa cram school? It's here somewhere on Academy City." Stiyl asked.

"It was in District 7 and under the 177th Judgement Branch's jurisdiction," Uiharu confirmed.

"Huh, waddya know, it's gonna be easier than i thought it would be." Stiyl mused, "So, there is a girl being captived there."

"Captived?" Touma repeated shockingly.

"Why is there a girl being captive there?" Paimon asked.

"It looks like Misawa Cram school has a belief of worhsipping the science." Stiyl continued his explanation, "Escape from the study session there, Misawa Cram school has been taken over by a bonafide sorcerer. No, to be precise, an alchemist from Zurich school."

"A bonafide sorcerer?" Touma asked.

"Yeah, i felt really suspicious about that when i heard about it for the first time," Stiyl replied before he realised, "Hold on a second, why did you accepted this so easily?"

"You aren't close with this idiot yet, so you won't understand at all." Mikoto replied back.

"Gotta say, anything bad always happened to him everywhere he go." Kotaru agreed.

"He already get used to something that will unlikely happened." Ruiko noted.

"So he already get used to whatever bad thing happen comes next." Kuroko added.

"And this is what make it fun and interesting whenever we're around Kamijou-senpai" Uiharu supplied.

"I agree with Uiharu." Hondo agreed.

"You two says it like my misfortune was some kind of fun show for you two." Touma muttered which made everyone giggled.

"I guess it goes really smoothly than i thought it would be." Stiyl admitted, before he continue explained, "That alchemist name was Aurellus izzard, he has been hiding ever since three years ago. Even for me, i don't even know what's he even doing or where did he go for three straight years, but we just heard that he's back."

"Why would he come back after hiding for 3 years?" Touma asked.

"Yeah, it doesn't make sense at all." Kotaru agreed.

"The reason is the most crucial one even for me," Stiyl admitted, the paper that floating around got back inside the envelope, "His target was a girl that become a captive inside Misawa Cram School, Deep Blood."

"Deep blood?" Everyone asked.

"What in the world is Deep Blood even means?" Aether asked.

"Apparently that girl has a power to kill a certain creature."

"And that creature will be?" Touma asked.

"It could be called anything, but to be simple, vampires." Stiyl answered.

"Vampires!?" Touma, Paimon, Amber, Mikoto, and Kuroko repeated in shock.

"Vampires does exist?!" Ruiko asked in shock.

"Is it true that vampires exist?" Uiharu asked back.

"If a demon exist, so does the vampires." Aether mused.

"Why do you say that, Aether-san?" Mikoto asked.

"I've fought demon in our world once and since vampire also one of many kind of demons, i assume that vampires existed." Aether concluded.

"Even us magician doesn't know about it's detail," Stiyl deduced, "But still, Deep blood means 'A power to kill vampires'. So the first step is to catch vampires first, but to do that, we have to save deep blood first, am i right?"

"So what are you proposing to us?" Touma asked.

"I've had problem to attack Misawa cram school and also take away deep blood from there." Stiyl answered.

"So you want me to go with you to get deep blood, am i right?" Touma guessed.

"That's right." Stiyl answered, "At least with you agree with this operation, i don't have to warn you that if you decide to refuse this, Index will be taken away from you and will go back to neccesarius which is something you don't like."

"If that's the case, then let me help as well." Aether said, "This infiltration might be dangerous if it's just for you and Touma to go for this operation."

"That's right, we can't just let this idiot go with you, so i'm joining in." Mikoto declared

"Same with me." Amber, Kotaru, Hondo, and Kuroko agreed.

"As much i like to have extra firepower, i can't allowed to bring two of you girls," Stiyl said, pointing at Kuroko, and Mikoto, "There was a very unbalance of power between science side and a magic side. If someone from science side beat someone on the magic side will unlikely lose the balance which made the world get dragged into a conflict that simply won't made everyone survived. But at least some of you are allowed to go face to face with this operation, especially the one with a power from a gadget called vision and also the one with the blonde hair."

"Hey Aether, i wonder if he will instantly come when we said his name." Paimon whispered.

"Oh you mean xiao?" Aether asked.

"Ah, the adeptus from liyue that you two friended with?" Amber asked.

"Yep, you tried to called him, because he will show up if you're the one who's calling him." Paimon did called Xiao before, but he didn't show up even when she screamed his name out loud.

"Okay let me try." Aether whispered to paimon before he made a proposal, "Hey stiyl, there's also someone that could help us with this operation."

"Oh? And who would that be?"

Aether clear his throat before he called out his name out loud, "Xiao..."

"You called?" A voice that Aether and Paimon recognize said from above a tree near them. When everyone looked at where the voice came from, they saw a guy with black short hair, green quils on some part of his hair, with a chinese looking clothes, staring at them. Everyone was utterly shocked by seeing him just showed up just like that.

"It worked!" Paimon exlaimed happily.

"How did he able to crossed my spell?" Stiyl asked in shock.

Suddenly, Xiao teleported himself in front of the group, he immediately asked, "Is there something you need for calling me?"

Aether then began to explain everything, including the place they currently on right now which made Xiao suddenly noticed that he's not in a familliar place on tevyat. Aether went to explain an operation of retrieve a captive girl with a power to kill vampires which is something that Xiao familiar with because he has kill demons which has vampires in it.

"So you want me to helped you out in this operation to save this girl who has a power to kill vampires?" Xiao summarized.

"Yep that's right, will you help us?" Aether asked.

Xiao turned around, and answered, "I guess i could helped you out on this one."

"Aether-san, who is this guy?" Kuroko asked.

Aether went to introduce xiao to everyone, he explained that he is an adeptus which is also known as a god on liyue, one of the city on tevyat. He explained to them that Xiao has a job on killing demons, but this time he don't have to kill the vampires in this world because apparently it's still don't have proof that vampires exist in this world.

"So when will this operation started?" Xiao asked.

"Maybe later because theres something we have to do first, so could you wait for a bit longer?" Kotaru asked.

"I don't mind, take your time." Xiao answered as he crossed his arm.

"Oh yeah, one more thing," Stiyl got himself reminded, "If i remember correctyl, the one with flower headband girl alongside you is a great hacker right?" Stiyl asked, Uiharu gave Stiyl a nod, "You could provide help by set up a couple of wiretaps to stay in contact and guide us through the school. I recommend you to do this because it will help out the operation smoothly."

"Is that everything you could provide us?" Touma asked.

"That's right, i will be waiting for all of you until you guys ready." Stiyl said as he walked away from the group.

The street filled with a sound of traffics once Stiyl out of their sight. Everyone looked at each other for a few moments, they know what they need to do next.

The group later meet up with index on Ruiko's dorm. Xiao apparently decide to wait outside her dorm since he doesn't like to be on the crowd of people. When they're inside her dorm, Paimon said that something's off about index, when she looked at index stomach, she noticed that index has a bloated stomach. Hearing this, Touma demand to get something that's inside her robes and it turns out that she snucked the calico cat named sphinx under her habit. Touma began to furious and can't allowed Index to raise the kitten because he hate to make trouble for paying index and the cat with Mikoto and Kotaru's budget for their expenses. Apparently, the girls convinced Touma that it's ok for index to raise the cat, so Touma conceded and allowed index to raise the cat.

After that done, Ruiko tells index that if she want to raise the cat, she also have to help out by doing some housework as well and index decide to go with it, so she decide to wash the clothes so she decide to go to the wash room. The group decide that Touma, Kotaru, Aether, and Xiao to go with Stiyl to infiltrate the Misawa cram school and let Paimon and Amber stay on Ruiko's dorm while Mikoto, Kuroko, and Uiharu decide to guide them when they enter the misawa cram school

After everything's settled, the group decide to go with the plan and leaving Ruiko's room. As Kotaru followed from behind, suddenly Ruiko stopped Kotaru from his track by holding his hand.

"Ruiko-chan?" Kotaru asked for the sudden action.

Everyone turned around and saw that Ruiko's stopped Kotaru from walked outside her room.

"Hey, can you guys go out for a second?" Ruiko asked, "There's something i wanna talk with Kotaru-kun."

"Umm why can't we stay here?" Paimon asked.

"No problem, let's go out for a while Paimon." Amber said, pulling Paimon walked to the door.

"Wait, you didn't give me the answeer." Paimon said as the group leave the room.

After the group leave the room, Ruiko made Kotaru facing her and she immediately wrapped her arms around his back with Kotaru returned the embrace by wrapping his arm on her waist.

Ruiko lift her head, looking at Kotaru's face and saying, "Kotaru-kun, please be careful out there and don't do anything reckless like last time, okay?"

Kotaru gave her a smile with a nod, "Don't worry i'm going to be okay so don't worry."

Ruiko smiled back and replied, "You better be." She lean her head towards Kotaru and kissed him. Kotaru kiss her back and decide to deepened their kiss using their tounge and keep going for a few seconds before they separated and let a line of saliva fall from their tounge.

They separated from their hug and say goodbye afterwards. Index called on Ruiko, asking help on how to operate the washing machine.

Meanwhile, after the group leaving Ruiko's room, they found out that Xiao standing beside Stiyl looks like kneeling outside, sticking a rune cards on the wall.

Xiao looked to the left and saw that the group leaving the dorm and approach them now, he asked, "So are you done with everything you need to do?"

"Almost, Kotaru needs some privacy with his girlfriend for now." Aether informed.

"I see."

"Anyway, what are you doing with those?" Touma asked Stiyl.

"I've decide to leave protection while we infiltrate the school," Stiyl explained, "I know that you have your friends and your new friends to protect her, but i've decide to give her some protection as well, there's no telling another magician might have tried to attack her while we do our operation. What a drag."

"Hey, do you perhaps like index?" Touma asked out of nowhere.

Stiyl suprised by the sudden question, he has a pink blush on his face as he replied, "What!? Why the hell you suddenly asked me that?" Stiyl dropped his cigarette.

"Wow you really have a feeling for her huh?" Kuroko said, learned from the reaction of Mikoto towards Touma.

"That's really creepy especially with the age gap between you two." Uiharu shivered.

"Should i call the fbi?" Hondo joked, pulling out his phone.

"Deffinitely not! I admit, she's my friend when she haven't lost her memories and i'm able to have a chance on getting back our relationship as a friend, but not...that." Stiyl explained, having a smug faces of the girls and hondo, "And second, i'm actually a 14 year old boy."

"You're what?!" The students yelled in shock, even Xiao was suprised by this by raising his eyebrows.

"But you looked like you're 21 years old man and you also smoking." Uiharu reasoned.

"I used magic that made me look older," Stiyl hufted, "The reason i did that was to make sure that people don't underestimate me since when you looked young, people underestimate you because you don't looked like a threat for them and of course you girls would probably know."

"What did you say about not being a threat?!" Mikoto roared.
