Hello Everyone, in this chapter, Kotaru and Ruiko will met the character from a franchise named Clannad, this idea came to me when i was watching Clannad again, feeling nostalgic of the past show, so i hope u guys enjoyed.
Chapter 6: Just a normal day in Academy City.
Kotaru and Ruiko enter the bakery they just find on their way to Kotaru's dorm. Kotaru opened the sliding door and said, "Excuse me."
After both of them set their foot inside the bakery, they find a lot kind of break on the shelf and a man looks like on their thirties inside the room. He has a brown colored hair with an unique ahoge above his head, wore a green apron.
"Oh welcome." The man greeted, stand up from the desk inside the room, "Are you kids here to buy some breads?"
"Yeah we were." Kotaru replied, "I'm kinda interested to visit here since I never seen this bakery before."
"Is this bakery new around here mister?" Ruiko asked.
"Yeah that's true, this bakery has just opened for business today in this city." The man replied.
"Ah i see, so this place is brand new." Kotaru mused, he looked at the bread on the table and the shelf, "Anyway, there's a lot of bread here and they look kinda…..unique." Kotaru don't know what to say at the last part because some of the breads looked weird, one of them has an octopus sticking out from the bread, one of them was fully light pink colored, and many kind of breads is also there.
"Let's just say that originally these breads doesn't really tasteful so not many people would buy our breads." The man explained.
"If not many people buy them, then what are you gonna do with those breads then?" Ruiko asked.
"Well, when I'm bored I usually use them to play with it." The man replied as he picked the pink colored bread.
"Oi Oi, Don't even play with food like that." Kotaru replied in shock.
"So my Bread…" A voice said in sad tone, the man turn around with Kotaru and Ruiko look past the man and saw a brown haired woman who looks really young, with a light blue ribbon tied on the back of her ponytail hair and also has the same antenna on her hair just like the man with a tears can be seen on her eyes, "So my bread was..meant to hit be used like a baseball?!"
The woman started to run outside, leaving the store which surprised Kotaru and Ruiko, but they were more surprised by the man immediately put two breads on his mouth and start to chased her, yelling, "I love them!"
A group of student in front of the store were surprised by the antics, one of them who has a dark blue shade gray hair musede, "There they go again."
"Nagisa's mom and dad at their own usual antics again." The long purple haired girl replied.
The blue haired guy looked inside the store and notice Kotaru and Ruiko is inside the store, so the guy went inside the room and said, "Sorry about that, they usually do that two times every week."
"Two times every week?" Kotaru and Ruiko repeated sheepishly.
"I'm sorry for both of my parent's usual antics," The brown haired antenna girl apologized, "Is there something do you need?"
"Well…" Kotaru looked back at the breads on the table, and his eyes drawned at a normal brown looking bread and he saw the note in front of the bread it says that it's a rice crackers bread, so he pointed his finger to the brown bread and requested, "Hey, can I buy this bread?"
"Sure, let me get it for you." The brown hair girl replied as she went to get the plastic bag to put the bread inside there.
As Kotaru and Ruiko wait for the bread to put inside the plastic bags, Kotaru looked at the group of students in front him. He never recognize the uniform like that, want to know more, he asked them, "Hey are you guys perhaps new in this city?"
"You're right about that," The short purple haired girl replied, "All of us originally wasn't from here, but due to our school being moved in this city, so all of us has become a student here in this city."
"Well, I guess I could say welcome to Academy City," Kotaru welcomed, "The city where anything could happened and there won't be a dull moment in this city."
"I hope all of you enjoy staying in this city." Ruiko added.
"We definitely will." The long purple haired girl replied happily.
"Hey, do you guys mind if we know each other?" Kotaru asked.
"Oh sure," The blue haired guy agreed before he started to introduce himelf, "My name is Okazaki Tomoya, I'm a level 3 Muscle enhancer."
"My name is Fujibayashi Ryou." The short purple haired girl introduce next, "I'm a level 2 Card Fortuner and my hobby is fortune teller, it's nice to meet you."
"Hello, My name's Sakagami Tomoyo," Tomoyo introduced herself, "I am a level 4 esper with an ability name Barrage Strength."
"My name is Fujibayashi Kyou and I'm a level 3 Sight sheer." Kyou introduce herself and paused for a moment.
"My hobby is bullying weaklings." Tomoya fill in.
"I would happy to become your friend." Kyou finished before she punched Tomoya in the gut which surprised everyone, "Whose hobby did you say it was to pick on weaklings?"
"Damn, what a mad ladd." Kotaru said amused.
"Okazaki-san!" The brown haired girl cried out in worry with the plastic bags of the bread on her hand.
"Don't worry Nagisa, I'm okay." Tomoya said, picking himself up from the floor.
"So..how about her?" Ruiko asked, pointed at Nagisa.
"Her name is Furukawa Nagisa." Tomoya introduced her, "She's an esper as well and she's only a level one and let's just say that she's already weak from the start so she isn't that strong."
'Just like Uiharu then huh?' Both Kotaru and Ruiko thinking the same.
"It's nice to meet you… um.." Nagisa said to the middle schoolers.
"It's Kotaru Hikari."
"Saten Ruiko."
"Nice to meet you Hikari-san, Saten-san," Nagisa gave the plastic bag filled with breads to Kotaru, "Here's your bread, that will be 560 yen."
"Okay, here is the money." Kotaru said, giving the money.
"Thank you for buying the bread Hikari-san, Saten san." Nagisa thanked.
"You're welcome, Furukawa." Kotaru immediately reach out the bag and take one of the bread and saying, "Itadakimasu." Before he ate the bread.
To Kotaru surprise, he felt something crunchy inside the bread. When he looked at the bread, he saw a rice crackers inside the bread. He swallowed the bread inside his mouth and commented, "There's a rice cracker inside the bread."
Ruiko looked inside the hole that was from Kotaru's bite and saw the rice cracker as well, she exclaim, "You're right, I thought it's supposed to be a bread that taste like a rice cracker."
"That's one of my creation." A voice interrupted.
They turned their head towards the voice and saw that Nagisa's mom is already back with Nagisa's dad behind her.
"I put the rice cracker inside the bread," Nagisa mom's explained, "it's a brilliant idea right?"
"Actually…this bread does taste interesting." Kotaru commented.
"Really?" Nagisa mom asked happily.
"You really like it?!" Tomoya and Nagisa dad asked in shock. Originally, Nagisa's mom bread usually taste horrible and because of that, not many people buy the bread in this bakery.
"Yeah I am," Kotaru replied, "Though, this bread could use some improvement."
"If you don't mind me asking, what do you mean by some improvement?" Nagisa mom's asked.
Kotaru began to explained, "First of all, the rice cracker that was inside the bread gave me a weird sensation when I taste the bread because of the clash between the bread taste and the rice crackers. So in order to avoid this, you have to make the bread step by step. First of all, you have to put some rice crackers inside a plastic bags and destroy them until those rice crackers looks like a sugar. On the next one, you have to mix the crushed cookies with the dough so the bread has a rice crackers taste in it and lastly just bake them like you usually do. Oh yeah I almost forgot, use a cream inside the bread to made it even tasteful."
Because of Kotaru's experience watching Touma's cooking, he could make a suggestion on how to bake the bread better. Everyone who has listened to Kotaru's has a surprised expression on their faces, Tomoya admire Kotaru's good explanation and thinking that Kotaru is someone great to be hang out with than his best friend he usually talks with, Sunohara.
Nagisa's mom has taken notes of everything that Kotaru said on a small notebook. After she put away the notebook, she said to Kotaru, "Thank you for your advice, I really appreciate it."
"No problem." Kotaru shrugged, he and Ruiko start to leave the place, "Anyway, we gotta go now, see you later everyone."
"See you later." Everyone said in unison.
"Don't get lost on your thoughts when walking you two lovebirds." Tomoya joked, caused Kotaru and Ruiko face blushed.
Without anything to say, the lovebirds leave the stor and continue on their way to Kotaru's dorm.
After they arrived at Kotaru's dorm, they entered Kotaru's room and put the plastic full of bread on his desk. Kotaru immediately get himself to sit the bed with Ruiko sit beside him.
"Man, that was really tiring yesterday." Kotaru mused.
"Yeah, it deffinitely was." Ruiko agreed, "hey, could you tell me what happened yesterday?"
"Sure, i don't mind." Kotaru replied before he went to explained what happened yesterday.
He told the time when they're climbing the stairs inside the building when Touma want to test out the phone signal. He told her he tried to call Ruiko but instead of her who should pick up the call, it was Index that pick up the call. Ruiko laughed when he told her when Index got scared when Touma said using a phone could shorten her life and immediately close the call. Kotaru also explain everything that happened as well, including his ecounter with the fake and real alchemist with the students that turned into gold by the fake alchemist which made Ruiko shivered. And lastly, Kotaru told Ruiko when they forgot everything and got sent out of the building, Kotaru and Touma did an uppercut that made Stiyl bite his tounge which made Ruiko laughed again just by how ridiculous it was.
"So that's what happened huh? That was really insane." Ruiko mused, "I just glad that everything went well in the end."
"I'm glad i could relax now." Kotaru replied as he scretch his arm upwards and let out a yawn.
"Man, i guess i really want to sleep now." With everything happened last night, Kotaru only sleep a little, especially with the dragon that he saw coming out from Touma's hand.
Kotaru immediately get himself lying on his bed and proceed to sleep with closing his eyes. Suddenly, he felt something moving in front of him, he opened his eyes and saw Ruiko laying in front of him.
Startled by this, Kotaru asked, "Ruiko-chan?"
Ruiko was flustered, but she want to do this right now, "W-Well, i'm just thinking i could accompany you on your sleep, y-you don't mind right?"
Kotaru didn't want her to feel bad, so he wrapped his arm on her waist, pulling her closer and replied, "I don't mind at all, i guess this is gonna be the first time we slept together, right?" He really like to have a time to be able to sleep right beside his cute girlfriend and cuddle with her, but with Index that always with her on Ruiko's dorm, he might not able to do it.
"Yes it is," Ruiko replied, "Anyway Kotaru-kun, i love you."
Kotaru blushed by hearing this, but he replied, "I love you too."
Kotaru immediately kissed Ruiko wrapped her arms on Kotaru's back and continued their kiss for a few moments. After they separated from their kiss, Kotaru started to get heatened by their situation. Suddenly Kotaru get his head closer to Ruiko's neck and kiss her neck.
Ruiko was suprised and fluster by the sudden kiss on her neck, she stammered while embarrassed, "Hey, w-why did you kiss my neck?"
However, Kotaru didn't gave her a reply at all, he just keep kissing her neck and suddenly he began to bite and sucking on one of the sopt on Ruiko's neck which made Ruiko moaned softly a few times while colsed her eyes, enjoy the feeling of Kotaru's boldness and Kotaru keep continued doing this for a minute.
After Kotaru was done, he pulled his head back and noticed that he just gave Ruiko a hickey on her neck. Ruiko opened her eyes and use her hand to rubbing her neck and she noticed the hickey on her neck, she asked Kotaru, "Y-You just gave me a hickey, didn't you?" The girl continue rubbing her neck, she did felt like the sensation of it.
Kotaru used his left hand to rub his head and replied, "S-sorry, i went too far with that." He enjoyed giving Ruiko the hickey, but he hope she isn't angry with it.
Ruiko shook her head and replied, "I-It's okay Kotaru-kun, it felt really nice to have it." Ruiko really like that inly her boyfriend manage to so this to her.
Kotaru and Ruiko proceed to cuddle again after their heat up session in order to calm themselves. While their cuddling, Kotaru eyes slowly closed and began to sleep instantly with how tired he was.
Ruiko noticed that her boyfriend has already fall asleep, she enjoy watching her boyfriend face sleeping in front of him. Suddenly Ruiko somehow felt sleepy so she slowly close her eyes and sleep beside Kotaru as well.
