Hey guys, i had so many assignment which made me can't wrote any fanfics at all so here is the next chapter and tomorrow i will be go into my grandparents house so it would take a long time to go there.
Guest: well, i will made it like in the canon where Touma will fight Accelerator alone since this will he his fight not anyone else.
guest: I'll think about transfer people from the tevyat world another time on a certain arc if that could happen, but maybe not so soon after Xiao appearance i guess.
Hisasi: well i surely did, but this is fanfiction, so yeah i really was planning on keep Touma memories.
HotaruKTM: Well i was glad you will read this story until the end and i really glad that you enjoy Ruiko reaction on her fail test. I hope i could keep making the story good with some changes of course.
Chapter 8: childhood friend and a baseball.
"Aaaaaah, what a day we've been through just now." Amber said as she scretch both of her hand upwards as she keep walking.
Indeed, what happens on the lunch break was the class questioned Touma and the duo tevyat how they know each other. Aether and Amber whispered to Touma that they should keep the secret about Aether and Amber wasn't originally from this world otherwise it will become a chaos so Touma decide to told his classmates that he just happened to help Aether and Amber to helped out both of them since he's a part of judgement now.
"Everyone was very lively." Aether admitted.
"That's just how everyone in my class really was." Touma replied.
"It's really fun to go to school if me and Aether were with you, Touma." Amber admitted.
"It's really not all that fun especially with so many homeworks and the hellish test." Touma replied slumply.
"Well, i think we could manage that if all of us worked together right Touma?" Aether asked.
"Actually yeah, with how smart both of you, i think that could be helped." Touma agreed.
"Anyway, i'm started to get hungry, shall we go get some food?" Amber said.
"I agree, all of us haven't eaten much this afternoon." Touma agree.
On the lunch break, Touma, Aether, and Amber only could eat some breads that was sell on the school cafeteria which is not enough so they still felt really hungry.
"Okay, let's go to jona garden then."
With that, the group proceed to made their way towards Jona garden. On their way, Touma has noticed that there's an unfamiliar baseball field which Touma never recognized before.
"Huh? I never know there is a baseball field here." Touma commented. He already went to so many places on the city, but he never saw a baseball field on the city because he only knows about the batti g cages on the underground mall.
"What's a baseball?" Aether asked.
"Is it some kind of activities?" Amber asked.
"Let's just say that it's one of the sport in this world." Touma explained, "So baseball is one of the sport where there is someone use a baseball bat to hit the ball that's coming from a pitcher or you could say the one who throw a ball."
"Heeeee, that's sounds fun." Amber commented.
"There is more," Touma continued, "There is two opposing teams, one is fielding which there is a pitcher and there is the batting ine which the batting player must hit the ball the pitcher throw towards them."
Suddenly a ball moving at a high speed has hit Touma face and made him fall to the ground and also made Amber and Arther suprised. His face has a red circle mark because of the impact.
"Such Misfortune." Touma muttered.
"Em... Are you okay?" A sound called out as some student approach them.
"Yeah i'm okay," Touma replied as he picked himself up from the ground and get the dust on his body away, "You guys don't have to be worried, i used to this kind of stuff."
"I guess there's nothing to be worried about then." The dark brown-haired short boy said.
"Sorry-sorry, i used too much muscle on that swing which hit this guy." The tall spiked hair boy with a red bandana on his forehead said.
"You just swinging it too hard, idiot." The ponytail brown haired girl replied.
"Ahahahah idiot-idiot ~~" the purple one tailed hair girl added in cheerful tone.
"Don't call this muscular guy stupid!" The red bandage guy replied back.
Ignoring the commotion, Touma looked at the boy with a dark brown haired boy, he felt something familiar as if Touma know this boy before with that familiar grey eyes. When the boy felt uneasy being stared by Touma, he asked, "Emm... Is there something wrong?"
"Why i felt like i know you before..." Touma eyes widened as he realised who it is, "...Riki? Is that you?"
"How did you know-" Riki eyes widened as he realised, "Could it be you're... TOUMA?!"
"It is you riki!" Touma said happily, "Man, you haven't change at all ever since our lasy meeting when we're young."
"Hahaha, same for you Touma, but why are you higher than me though?" Riki asked.
Touma put his right hand yo the back of his head and exclaimed, "Well i usually get into problems due to my bad luck so i have my own kind of exercise."
"Oi Riki," the tall brown haired boy called him, "you know this guy?"
Riki looked back and answered, "Yeah, this is Kamijou Touma, the first friend i have before i met you guys before."
"Riki's first friend?" The muscular tall boy said in shock, "How come you never mention this to us?!"
"Well, it doesn't come up until now, Masato." Riki replied, scratching his cheek.
"If it's Naoe-kun's friend then it's our friend's as well." The yellow short twin tail girl said cheerfully, "My name's Kamikita Komari."
"My name's Noumi Kudravyaka, nice to meet you Riki's friend." The short white haired girl introduced herself.
"He-yo, the name's Saigusa Haruka, nice to meet you."
"Hello there boy, i'm Kurugaya Yuiko, i hope we can get along."
"It's nice to meet all of you." Touma said, he looked at the three boys beside Riki, "How about you three?"
"The name's Miyazawa Kengo."
"My name's Inohara Masato."
"And i am Natsume Kyosuke."
"The three of us were Riki's Childhood friends." The three boys said in unison.
"Riki's childhood friend?" Touma repeated, "Man, you guys were taller and bigger than Riki, Hm?" Touma noticed that there is a brown ponytail girl hiding behind Riki, scaredly looked at Touma.
"Emm...how about you? Are you Riki's friend as well?" Touma asked, pointed at the girl behind Riki.
"Emmm... This is Rin, she is my childhood friend as well." Riki informed, "She's scared of communicating with other people than her friends."
"Rin is usually anti social towards other people so it's hard for her to be talking with strangers." Kyosuke informed.
"When i talk with rin for the first time, she's pretty shy but she slowly able to talk with me without a problem." Komari explained.
"That goes for the rest of us as well." Kud added with the other girls nodded.
"Don't worry Rin, he's my first friend, so there's nothing you need to be scared with." Riki said encouraging.
"Sowly Rin get beside Riki and slowly greeted, saying,"H-Hello, i am Natsume Rin."
"Natsume? Does that mean you're Kyosuke's young sister?" Aether asked.
"Yep, she's my little sister." Kyosuke confirmed.
"It's nice to meet you, Rin." Touma said.
"Glad you could do it Rin." Riki praised Rin.
"Whatever." Rin said embarrassed
"Oh yeah Touma, who are these people with you?" Riki asked.
"Oh yeah i almost forgot to introduced myself," Aether claimed, "My name's Aether."
"And my name's Amber, nice to meet all of you."
"Nice to meet you Aether-san, Amber-san." Riki said to Aether and Amber.
"Oh yeah Riki, since you're here, that means you're also an esper right?" Touma reminded,"What is your esper level now?"
"Emm... To be honest, i only manage to get to level 3 and my power was orbing lights." Riki explained, "I could gather any kind of lights and transformed them into an orb like this." Riki began to use his right hand, there were some particles flowing to Riki's hand and.
"That's really good Riki." Touma praised.
"Thanks Touma, i appreaciated it."
"Hey Touma, do you mind if me and amber go ahead to buy some food now?" Aether asked, "I don't wanna made Paimon get hungrier while waiting for me to get back."
"Eh sure, see you later Aether, Amber." Touna said.
"See you later as well, Touma." Amber said before she and Aether leaving the area.
Touma watch the duo tevyat before they out of their sight. Once that done, he looked back at Riki and his friend, he asked, "Riki, Since you're playing baseball, does your team even has a name yet?" Touma asked.
Before Riki could answered, Kyosuke grip Riki's right shoulder as he said, "Riki, let me take over now."
"O-Okay Kyosuke." Riki said as Kyosuke walked towards Touma.
After he stopped, he began to explain exaggregatedly, "Good afternoon mister, let me introduce you our team name, it's called Little Buster! A legendary team that could produce a fun time together as long as everyone is here."
"That's a bit exaggregated don't you think?" Riki commented, "But he's right at one point, little buster always make things interesting, especially when Kyosuke's here."
"That's true, little buster change our lives so much." Kud said.
"Haruka always happy with everyone in little buster." Haruka added.
"Little buster always does something that made me interested to join." Kurugaya added.
"If everyone is happy, Komari-chan will be happy as well." Komari said happily.
"Little buster always made my muscles cramped out!" Masato said as he pumping his hands up and down.
"Emm..."
"Don't even think too much about it Touma," Riki adviced, "He always talk about muscles most of the time."
"I guess you have some unique friends hahaha." Touma mused.
Touma turn his head towards thebaseball fields, suddenly he has some urge to play a baseball as the hitter, so he requested, "Hey, i know this is sudden but do you guys mind if i try to be a batter once?"
Hearing this, Kyosuke excitedly allowed him, "Of course we would love to, baseball is like a shining sun that brights our hearts everywhere." Kyosuke tossed the baseball bat to Touma and he catches it, Kyosuke looked at Rin, "Okay Rin, show Kamijou-san how good your pitch really was."
"I don't want to." Rin immediately rejected.
"Man, she's still really scared huh?" Masato mused.
"Even though she has so many new friends, she still has problem talking to strangers." Kengo added.
Suddenly Riki has a good idea on how to made Rin get some courage, he asked Haruka, "Hey Masato, do you have more headband like the one you wore right now?"
Masato suprised by Riki question, so he asked Riki, "Huh? I have 5 of them."
Riki quickly answered, "Can i borrow one of them Masato?"
Masato picked onw of the headbands inside his pants pocket and giving it to Riki while saying, "Sure, but why do you need it for?"
Riki chuckled, "Oh you will see it soon." He walked towards Touma and give Touma the headband as he told Touma, "Here, wear it on your forehead."
Touma confused by this, don't know what Riki's itention was and he asked Riki, saying, "Why do i have to wear this?"
"Just do what i said, you will know the answer." Riki immediately answered.
Touma just went along it, he grabbed the headband and tied it on his forehead. He's waiting on knowing what Riki plan really was.
Riki looked at Rin with his hand pointing at Touma, saying,"Hey Rin, now try to imagined Touma as Masato."
"Eh?" Everyone was suprised by what Riki just said.
"Will it really gonna worked at all?" Masato asked.
But suddenly, Rin somehow fired up and immediately get in the pitcher position, "Okay let's go."
"That was fast!" Masato commented in suprised.
"Good idea Riki!" Kyosuke praised, "Since Kamijou-san almost identical to Masato, you decide to made Rin saw Masato as a batter."
"That was really smart young man." Kurugaya commented.
"Thanks all." Riki said, he immediately get into the catcher position and held out his left hand in front of him which has a baseball glove, he shouted at rin, "Okay Rin, you can throw the ball now!"
"Unyaaa!" A fire Aura has emitted around Rin's body with a cat ear on top of her head, she throw the ball which has curved to the right and somehow hit Touma's belly.
Touma hold his belly to ease the pain while Riki asked, "Are you okay, Touma?"
"I-I'm used to something like this so you don't need to worry about it Riki." Touma said in painful tone, but he fastly recovered from the pain and said to Rin, "Okay Natsume-san, please throw another ball again."
"A-Are you sure you want to continue?" Riki asked in worried.
"Don't worry Riki, let's continue now!" Touma replied.
"O-Okay." Hearing this, Riki get back into the position he was before, "Keep throw the ball rin!"
"Unyaaa!" Rin throw another ball,.
This time the ball went faster in a straight way towards Riki. Touma swing his bat towards the ball but he's too slow and Riki catches the ball which made it a strike.
"Strike!" Kyosuke yelled out.
"That was fast!" Touma commented, he didn't expected to face a ball that was this fast.
"That was a Raging Meow Ball." Riki pointed out.
"What's with that name?!" Touma asked in suprise.
"Kyosuke named the pitch that rin just did." Riki answered, throw the ball at Rin.
After Rin catches the ball, Rin throw another ball, but it went way more faster than the last one but this time Touma predicted the ball speed and hit the ball which got sent flying to the sky.
"It went flying." Rin said, looking at the ball on the sky.
Seeing this, Kyosuke exclaimed, "IT'S A SAYONARA HOMERUN!"
"Awesome!" Everyone except Mio and Kurugaya yelled in amazement.
"That was a great hit Kamijou-kun!" Haruka told Touma.
"It really was amazing by how far it really went." Noshizono noted.
"With that fact, he really was on par with Masato and Kengo." Kurugaya said amusingly.
"He is litteraly greater than Masato." Kengo said mockingly.
"What did you say, Kendo freak?!" Masato replied.
"Anyway, that was really good Kamijou-san." Kyosuke said.
"Thanks Kyosuke-san," Touma said, "Although my misfortune strikes on the first pitch, i manage to do it at the end."
"That does it!" Kyosuke pointed at Touma, "Kamijou-san, from now on, your title will be 'Skillful Misfortune'."
"Eh?"
Touma has received a new title
[Skillful Misfortune]
"Why did you gave me that title?!" Touma asked in suprise.
"That's because you always lamented so much about your misfortune so it's good idea for you to have that title." Kyosuke reasoned.
"Man, to think my misfortune striking me this badly, Such Misfortune." Hearing this, everyone can't helped but started laughing at Touma complaining his misfortune and it was really funny to made everyone laugh.
Touma then check his phone and it shows it's already 3:30 pm. He held his phone and requested, "Hey Riki, let's exchange our phone number so i could easily called you."
Riki agreed, "Sure Touma, i don't mind." Riki pulled out his phone and exchange number with Touma.
After that, everyone immediately pulled out their cell phone, even Rin who's always shy even pulled out her cellphone, everyone also asked to exchange number with Touma as well and Touma gladly accepted it.
After exchanging number with Touma, Touma says goodbye to everyone do to the time.
After Touma was out of sight, Kyosuke turned to Riki and said, "That guy is really something else don't you think?"
"Yeah, he is really fun to be with." Masato commented.
"And from what i see, he sure does looks really atlethic." Kengo added.
"I'll be honest, i was less shy when i talked to him for the first time." Rin admitted.
"I guess that's how Touma really is." Riki said, "A good person that has a charm towards all of us don't you think."
"He sure does." Everyone agreed.
