Hello everyone, this is the filler chapter after the day where Kotaru treat everyone lunch because of his fault that he forgot about Daigo-sensei's girlfriend. Now it's already night at Academy City and he ecountered a dark side of Academy City, facing a group named Beta.
Johnnygat016: i still don't know about making bennet and fischl joining, since there's already too many character in this fanfic.
HotaruTKM: I'm glad you enjoyed the last chapter. I kinda wanna made a comedic moments as well along with Kotaru forget about daigo-sensei since he's close to him as a teacher-student good bonds.

Chapter 10: BETA
As the sky is dark now with so many stars show up in the sky, Kotaru and Ruiko walked side by side with Kotaru has his body slumped down as he complained, "Man, i really think that Kamijou-senpai's luck is totally rubbing on me, why do i have to be the one to pays all the food."
Ruiko could only chuckled as she replied, "Well, you shouldn't forgot that important information, or else you won't be treating all of us this afternoon."
Kotaru sighed, "Yeah, you're right about that. At least today can't be worse right?"
Suddenly Ruiko came up with an idea how to make his night a bit better, "Hey Kotaru-kun, i know how to make you better in no time."
Kotaru turned his head to Ruiko and asked, "How?"
He got no reply at all, instead it was another kiss on his mouth. Kotaru immediately kissing her back as she put one arm on her back and one arm on her head as both of them closed their eyes. Kotaru now felt really happy to get another kiss from his lovely girlfriend and they continued for a few seconds until they separated.
They lean their foreheads against each other as Kotaru got reminded, "You know, it's almost our month anniversary when we became couple don't you think?"
Ruiko replied, "You were right, it's almost a month since our official relationship as a couple." She then closed her eyes as she wondered, "What should we do to celebrate it though?"
Kotaru think for a few moments until he suggested, "Since tokiwadai gonna have a mid-summer festival, how about we go there with our friends?"
Ruiko nodded in response, "That's actually a good idea, i can't wait for it."
"Okay then, it's settled." After Kotaru declared, he remind her, "Okay, let's go back to our dorm now."
Both of them continue on their way towards their dorm, ready to have a rest after their day with their friends together.
After walking for a few minutes, they have arrived in an empty roads with nobody was around. Suddenly Kotaru felt that something's not right at all as if he could tell that something bad's gonna happen sooner or later, so he raised his guard as he told Ruiko, "Ruiko-chan, get your guards up, something's not right here."
Without telling her twice, Ruiko did what Kotaru said, both of them facing the opposite way as they looked around to find out what's about to coming at them. Suddenly Kotaru saw something flying towards him, Kotaru used his racket to knocked the attack to the sides. Kotaru noticed that it was an ice attack because when the ice land to the ground, it frozed the ground that got hit by the ice.
Kotaru then demanded, "Who's there!? I know you're there, show yourself now!"
"I guess we have to show ourselves." A voice came in front of Kotaru a few meters away.
As they saw the people came out from the dark, Kotaru and Ruiko saw three people there.
One of them is a short blonde haired girl that was almost as tall as Touma, has a orange pupil woth a rectangle inside it, wore a long pants with a shirt that only shows her belly.
On her left side, it appears to be a green haired man, wearing a blue track suit but unzipped with a white shirt inside the track suit, has a slash mark on his right cheek.
And lastly, there is a boy wore a sleeveless shirt with a long jeans. The boy has a curved up black hair and a black round eyes.
Kotaru asked the newfaces, "Who are you people?"
"Hello there Kotaru Hikari," the green haired man began to talk, "my name's Tsume Kori. Besides me were akeru mizu and Hakeshi jizin. We're a group named BETA."
"BETA?" Kotaru and Ruiko repeated, this is the first time they heard a group named BETA.
"Yes, we were here to do a task," Tsume Kori then point his finger towards Kotaru, "we're here assigned to bring you into a labolatorium to do an experiment with your power."
"Sorry, but i commited myself to not help any kind of experiment outsides my parents lab." Kotaru rejected, "so i'm sorry but i have to reject that request."
"I see... If that's the case..." Kori raised his hands, started to create multiple ice shards above him and continued, "we have to do it by force then."
Kori throw multiple ice shards towards Kotaru and Ruiko. Kotaru throw a multiple fire bullet using his finger and melt every ice shards that was thrown, but the attack hasn't stopped because the melted ice has become a water which means mizu could control it since she was a level 4 water user.
Ruiko noticed the coming attack and used her vortex palm to catch the incoming attacks and they spin around at the top of Ruiko's hand.
"No way!" The blonde haired girl suprised, "She caught my attack just like that?!"
"And i'll return it to the sender now!" Ruiko yelled as she throw back the attack the water user used against both Touma and Ruiko.
Before the attacks reach the BETA group, the sleeveless boy create a wall in front of them using the ground and blocked the attack. After the attack was blocked, the wall descend and show the unamused face from the BETA group.
"Not bad," Tsume kori praised, "but you two still not strong enough to beat us! Jizin!"
"Got it!" Jizin stomped his leg to the ground and launch a boulder high in the air. This was followed by Jizin jumped high to the sky, and kicked the boulder which got sent towards the couple.
While the boulder still fly towards Kotaru and Ruiko in the sky, the boulder suddenly got destroyed when a brown with yellow lines boulder out of nowhere launched and crashed towards one of the building near them.
"What?!" Jizin was shocked that somene manage to destroy his attack that easily.
"Sorry to keep you waiting Kotaru, Saten." a voice that Kotaru and Ruiko noticed come from the left side, they both looked yo the left and know who it was.
"Hondo!"
"Kowada-san!"
"Kowada...Hondo you say?" Kori asked, before he suddenly get into a laughter, "Hahahaha, i didn't expect to saw the other experiment subject to be here, magnificent!"
"Experiment subject...you say?" Kotaru asked in anger.
"Heh that's right, you three has a power that cannot be scientifically explained," the blonde girl explained, "Kihara Gensei will be pleased that you three will become an experiment subject."
"Not if i stop you first." A voice interrupted from behind the BETA group.
When the BETA group turned around, they found a high school girl with a yellow tie on the tight side of her hair, it was Kurugaya Yuiko.
The sudden appearance of Kurugaya made the group BETA jumped back in suprised.
Tsume kori then asked, "Who in the world are you?!"
"Doesn't matter who she was," Hakeshi said as he take some piece of the ground, "We'll just have to beat her."
Hakeshi throw the rock ball at Kurugaya and it create a smoke around her. Wasn't sure about it, Jizin asked, "did i get her?"
"Not at all." Kurugaya said from the smoke. She cleared the smoke that was around her and show that she hold a katana on her hand.
"Whoa..." Ruiko was amazed, "is that the real katana?"
"It's only a replica young girl," Kurugaya replied as she swung her katana in front of her, "but it's still could hurt someone."
"I thought it was really real." Kotaru muttered.
"Don't think with only having a replica of katana, you have high advantage than us! Everyone attack!"
Team beta proceed to attack Kurugaya with Tsume Kori used multiple ice needles as Jizin stomped the ground to create a giant boulder in front of him and punched the boulder towards Kurugaya as Akeru throw a water shaped sword towards Kurugaya and it create a big explosion.
"There's no way she could survived that attack." Jizin exclaimed.
"Not quite." Kurugaya said from above them as she swing her replica katana to the ground and stabbed the ground itself because the BETA group jumped backwards in order to dodge her attacks.
"Don't underestimate us dammit!" Jizin covered his hands with the dirt on the ground and create a dirt hands.
Seeing this, Kotaru and Hondo charge in as they told them, "Don't forget about us!"
Hondo knocked back Jizin to the right as Kotaru tried to punch Kori, but Kori blocked it with crossing his arms but Kotaru punch push Kori, leaving the blonde hair girl and Ruiko. Kurugaya chased Kotaru from behind.
"Kori!" The blonde girl tried to chase them, but she got interrupted as a wind howl and hit the girl from her back and hit her which made her front fall to the ground.
"You're fighting me now!" Ruiko then spawned a baseball bat out of nowhere since it became her best weapon.
Ruiko now has able to spawned the baseball bat like that because of her vision. Her vision allowed her to bring out her weapon from her imaginary pocket, and also stock all kind of physical object into her imaginary pocket whenever she watns just like hoe Kotaru did with hid badminton racket.
"You'll regret to do that." The blonde girl then gather every remaining water that was near Ruiko and Akeru and used those water and transformed them into a multiple water balls.
"Oooh bring it on!" Saten boasted as she charge towards Akeru.
Akeru launch some water ball towards Ruiko. As shr saw was about to hit the first water ball with her baseball bat, Akeru thought to herself, 'Heh, you might be able to caught my water attacks, but when that bat hit the water ball, i will use it to attack her from behind.' but that thought was interrupted when Ruiko just knocked the waterball with her bat and the water ball just headed towards Akeru, she swung her head to the right and dodge the incoming waterball and landed on the ground a few meters away behind Akeru.
"W-What?!" Akeru was suprised that her waterball got knocked instead of going through the baseball bat.
Ruiko keep swinging her baseball bat and hit every water ball and knocked all of them to the sides.
As soon as every water ball got hit to the sides, Ruiko suddenly spun around, using her vision power to create a tornado around her.
As soon as she create her tornado, she throw it at Akeru. Akeru immediately gather all the water again and create a gigantic waterball and shoots it towards the tornado.
Both the tornado and the waterball clashed when they made contact. After their attack clashed for 5 seconds, Akeru noticed that somehow, her waterball slowly shrink bit by bit.
"What the hell?!" Akeru shocked when seeing this.
Ruiko then explained to Akeru in the distance, "Do you wanna know what happened, Akeru-san? When a tornado happened, they usually pulled any objects that's close to them and get inside the tornado. Since water is an object as well, they got absorbed by the tornado as well and create a 'water tornado' now."
Ruiko then thought, 'Hehe, thanks to Aether-san technique when he countered Stiyl-san's fire attack.'
Seeing disadvantage of her attack, Akeru desperately turn around and run away, leaving Ruiko and her tornado. But after Akeru attack has fully absorbed into Ruiko's tornado, the tornado chased Akeru and manage to catch up with her and pull Akeru inside the tornado and spinning around inside there.
*Line break*
As for the others, Hondo and Jizin are facing each other now. Jizin create a golem hand using the ground just to buffed up his hands. While for Hondo, he has a new technique he learned for the past 2 days, he gather up his strength with his geo vision and let out some dark yellow aura.
Jizin suddenly sweatdropped as he saw hondo's aura, his aura has make a shape of a bull's head above him. Hondo's aura get inside his body as he has a faint glowing aura on his body.
"Get ready, because i'm not gonna hold back now!" Hondo warned, get ready on his fighting stance.
"Bring it on!" Jizin yelled as he run towards Hondo and throw a punch.
Hondo immediately dodge Jizin's punch. Seeing this, Jizin decide to throw multiple punches towards hondo, but hondo keep dodging his punches. When Jizin tried to hit him again with his left hand, Hondo dodge again but this time Hondo punch Jizin's stomach which made jizin holding his stomach in pain in order to quell his pain.
Proceed to continue his attack, Hondo stomped the ground, and a pillar ascended from below Jizin anf hit jizin's chin and knocked him to the sky. Hond proceed to jumped higher with spawn a pillar under him in order to boost his jump.
In the sky, Jizin still looked at the sky cuz of the impact with the pillar that hondo just summoned and thought to himself, 'Dammit, i thought i was supposed to be the strongest ground esper, to think someone could easily dodge my attacks and hit me that hard.,' Jizin tried to gain his focus and focused, 'i need to find a way to beat him, or else.'
Jizin broke off his thought when he noticed something went past him and went above him in a blink of an eye. When he looked above him, he saw Hondo's above him while looking at Jizin.
Hondo clutch his right hand into a palm with his left hand holding his right arm, he summoned a clear gold stone in a shape of a hand and then a water spin around the stone and closer, made the stone turned from the pure gold into a gold with a blue water lines.
"It's over Hakeshi, you already lost." Hondo told him.
Jizin has become angry towards Hondo and said in an anger tone, "It's not over yet, i'm a level 4 ground type esper and i won't let myself lose to someone like you!"
"And we're in the air and there is nothing you could do to block this attack," Hondo countered, "Water stone fist cannon!"
Hondo launch his attack towards Jizin, Jizin tried to turn his body in a horizontal way and spin his body to the left, and then he punch the attack as he exclaimed, "I'll make sure to sent this attack back to you!"
Both Hondo's attack and Jizin's punch clash against each other.
Jizin using everything he got, slowly tried sent back Hondo's attack back to Hondo. But Hondo won't allow that to happen, he tried to push his attack even more harder. And finally, with Hondo's attack over power Jizin's punch, Jizin got hit by Hondo's attack and push towards the ground in a high amount of speed.
Well guys, this is the part one of the fight between my OC's, Kurugaya, and Ruiko against a group of BETA which is my OC as well, i never good at making my own fights, but i only making this just for fun and positive reviews are mostly welcome, see you later.
