(In the boys cabin)
The guys entered the cabins, and found 8 beds, 4 on each side. "So how do we decide who-" Orion was gonna ask about sleeping arrangements, but the guys just tossed their things on their selected bed. Griff taking one in the far end on the right, with Roman across from him. Next to Roman was Post, who was facing Johnny. Next to the pretty boy Andrius, who was across from Ryo. That left Brian with the bed next to the pale boy, and Orion with the remaining bed "Never mind then." he shrugged before tossing his things on the only bed left.
"So, anyone got an eye for any of the ladies?" Johnny immediately asked.
"This early in the contest, the last thing to think about is a romantic pursuit." Ryo replies as he sits perched on a chair between his bed and Brian's, his feet bare.
"I don't know, I thought Grace was pretty cool." the party boy put his two cents in.
"What about you Roman?" Johnny asked glaring teen, who was curling some dumbbells as he looked his way with a dark look. "Andrius, your thoughts?"
Andrius sorted through his bag as Johnny turned his attention to him, "Mmmmmm, I don't know. They seem... fine... if not a little odd."
"We're all a little odd!" Griff stated as he was setting up what looked like a science station in the corner, "It's what makes us all our own individual person!"
"He has a point." Post says, "Look, I'm sure once we get to know the girls a little better, maybe some of us can get lucky. So let's just be their friends first and see how it goes."
All the boys murmured in agreement.
While the guys got themselves situated, the girls were having a more difficult time.
"I should get this bed, so that I get a clear view of the lake." Krystal stated, pointing at the bed closest to the window.
"No, I should get that bed. It has the most leg room." Uma argued back.
"Come on girls, let's not get into a fight on the first day." Maybelle pleaded as she got in between the girls.
"Agreed, we should all try to get along. We could be here for awhile." Linka adds.
"Stay out of this Sweater Girl and Bland Betty." Krystal scoffed.
"Only 10 minutes in and I already feel like I'm back in juvie." Deena sighed as she plopped down on a bed.
Paige notices Rose just sitting in the corner, "Hey, aren't you gonna unpack?"
"Nah, I'm good." Rose said as she lays against her unopened duffel bag.
"Don't you wanna sleep in an actual bed?" She pointed to the bed across from her.
"If she's not taking it then I will." Grace said as she sat down on it.
"Look Lawyer Girl, don't worry about me. Just focus on not being the first girl voted out." Rose told the future lawyer, who rolled her eyes at the suggestion she's going home first.
Once everyone had unpacked they met up with Greg in the bonfire area, the host started his run down on the competition for this season. "Alright, I'm sure you guys know how this goes. You all compete for either reward or to stay alive, but for this season there are a few additions to the gameplay."
Paige raised her hand, "What kind of additions?"
"Good question Paige." Greg responded before answering, "First off, joining us as our Camp Counselors. We have Total Drama alumni... DJ and Katie!"
The cast all gasped seeing the famous Momma's boy and girl who holds the longest time spent out of TD competition.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! It's so great to be back on Total Drama! I wish Sadie was here, but she's just soooooo busy at college." Katie exclaims, she wore a pink jacket over a yellow shirt with the camp Diamond Lake logo on the front, and black shorts. "But it's like, so exciting to be back."
DJ wore the same shirt, but grey over green cargo shorts. "Yeah, even if we aren't competing."
"These two TD icons will act as the camp's cook and nurse respectively." Greg explains "And to make sure nobody tries to sneak in some funny business... Uma."
"We'll see." The aforementioned girl stated.
"Also, hidden around this campsite there are 3 immunity idols." Greg holds up a picture of the three idols, each with a different design. "With one of these, you can either save yourself from elimination, or save someone else."
Orion drew the idols' design on his notepad, "Could we have a hint on where they could be?" Johnny asked.
"Now where's the fun in that?" Greg questioned as he tossed the picture behind him. "You'll have figure that out in your own."
"Tell them how much they get if they win!" Katie urged.
"The last camper standing, will win a grand total...

The campers gasped at the amount, all already dreaming of what to do with that money. Krystal scoffed under heat breathe "I've got that much under my couch cushions."
"So, how are deciding the teams?" Maybelle asked.
"Funny you ask that Maybelle, cause we're having our first challenge to decide the teams." Greg answered to a few gasps. "Everyone get changed into your swimsuits and meet me at the lake in ten."
(Ten minutes later)
The cast reconvened at the lake, where they saw a large obstacle course over the body of water, "That wasn't there earlier." Ryo noted, his swimwear a white wiki shirt and black trunks.
"Alright, here's how the challenge will work." Greg ran down the challenge "You guys will go one at a time over the obstacle course, if you fall on any obstacle you have to start all over. You'll start at the ramp on one side of the lake and up to your first obstacle, The Floating Steps."
We then see an intern bounding over five elevated steps.
"After that you'll have to traverse the Sucker Punch."
The same intern then moved across a wall with boxing gloves punching out of the numerous holes, with a very narrow ledge to walk across.
"Thirdly, you must bounce across a Wipeout classic, the Big Balls."
The intern then leaped onto a giant red ball, but fell into the water. Uma laughed at the name "Big balls."
"Lastly, you will traverse a zip line. And grab on of the many hanging keys, to open up one of the many treasure chests at the end of the lake."
The intern, who was soaking wet after climbing all the way back up, got on a zip line and did a flip at the end, landing with a splash in the water.
"There are 20 chests, 8 of them with a grey bandana. You get one of those, then you step into the grey carpet and meet with DJ, and that's your team. The other 8 will find a pink bandana and meet with Katie on the pink carpet."
"What about the other 4?" Linka asked.
"Who knows?" Greg shrugged. "You will be timed individually, once you fall on any obstacle, your timer will reset and you must start all over. Only the time you complete the course and bring your bandana to your appropriate counselor, will count. The team with fastest total time wins."
"Hey, Mr. Sampson? Is this elimination or reward?" Maybelle asked.
"Since this is the first challenge, you're playing for reward." His answer brings out some sighs of relief from the cast. "Now line up behind the rock line." He ushered everyone to the starting point. "We're going alphabetical, so Andrius you're up first."
The smallest camper, took the starting point. In a pair of blue swim trunks and goggles. Behind him was Brian, in a pair of green trunks.
(The going order: Andrius, Brian, Deena, Grace, Griff, Johnny, Krystal, Linka, Maybelle, Orion, Paige, Post, Roman, Rose, Ryo, and Uma)

GO!"
Andrius immediately ran up the ramp and bounded over the five floating steps before starting the Sucker Punch. He got hit a few times, but held onto the holds in the wall.

Andrius: Going first... it's pretty scary... but I... might as well do the best I can.
Krystal: So glad I'm not first, gives me time to watch the others try the challenge, and fail miserably.
Maybelle: Everyone here seems so nice, except Krystal. (She gags) She and I don't have the best... history so to speak.

Andrius gets past the Sucker Punch wall, he then goes for the Big Balls, only to fall off on the second ball.
Once he fell, Brian took his turn. Flying through the steps before getting quickly knocked off the wall.
Deena's and Grace's first attempt ended with both going out on the Big Balls. Deena in an orange pair of trunks and black swim shirt, meanwhile Grace wore a red one piece swim suit.
Griff was up next, who wore black trunks over his body suit. He quickly got through the steps and wall, bounding over the big balls, and finished off the zip line with a nose dive, grabbing a key in the process.
"Griff the first person to grab a key, while he searches the chests Johnny you're up!" Greg calls as Johnny started his first attempt while Griff swims to the other side of the lake.
Johnny made it to the second step before falling into the water. His swimming attire a put if navy blue shorts.
Krystal laughed as started, a pink bikini as her attire. She shakily got through the steps before slowly moving along the wall, trying not to get punch in the face.
Meanwhile Griff was testing all the locks for his key, he finally opened up one and lifted the lid. "Got one!" He called as he pulled out a grey bandana.
"Griff the first to get a bandana, go join DJ."
Griff's time: 45 seconds
Krystal finally got done with the wall before stepping up to the Big Balls, which she fell off after one step.
Linka then made her first attempt, making quick work of the first three obstacles before zip lining to a key of her own.
"Linka with the second key!"
The female twin made her first attempt, sporting a pink one piece with a shooting star on the front. During which Linka got to one of the chests and unlocked it. Finding not a bandana, but coconut cream pie.
"And Linka gets a face full of pie, one of the trick chests. Which means she'll have to try the course again." Greg narrated. Linka licks up the pie filling.
Maybelle at this point got across the balls, and zips her way down and grabs a key.
"Maybelle with a key, now her brother makes his first attempt."
Orion runs up the ramp, having made all the calculations flies through the course, ending off with a grab of a key and a double front flip into the lake. His attire a white swim shirt, red shorts, and his hat. "Orion with a lightning fast run grabs a key."
This impresses the cast, even Krystal as she just reached the shore.

Krystal: Stupid Orion, thinks he's so great with his nerdy brain, dumb hat, bushy brown hair, his cute little boy biceps- Uh I mean he's a nerd!

Orion reaches the chest as Maybelle finally unlocks one, getting a pink bandana. "Found one!"
"Maybelle gets a pink bandana just as Orion reaches the chests." Greg narrates as Paige starts her first attempt.
"Nice one May." Orion says to his twin.
"Try to find a matching one!" Maybelle demands, wanting to be on the same team as her brother.
"I'll try." Orion tries the first lock he finds and opens it.
Maybelle's time: 51 seconds
Orion found no bandana, but some kind of map. He puts it in his hat before running back to the start.
Paige with a grey one piece just fell in the third step, leaving Post to start. The rapper wearing a red pair of trunks, flies through the steps and bobs and weaves through the Sucker Punch. He then made long strides on the Big Balls before zipping to a key.
Once Post started his swim to the chests, Roman let out a roar before sprinting up the ramp and went one sided in the steps before running across the wall, and flipping across the balls before zipping to a key.
This feat caused everyone to be slack jawed.
"Roman, frighteningly sets the course record." Greg notes, only counting 9 seconds before Roman unlocks one chest and pulling out a grey bandana.
Roman's time: 16 seconds.
"Bravo sir, high 5!" Griff greets Roman as he reaches the grey mat, Roman puffs before slamming his hand on Griff's. The giant winces as he holds his hand in pain. Post just opened his chest, pulling out a grey bandana and joining the grey team.
Post's time: 43 seconds.
Rose made her first attempt, taking a breathe before bounding through the steps.

Rose: I've done ninja courses before, it wasn't exactly... easy for me. I fell down a lot, but after a while I got a pattern down.

Rose then got to the Sucker Punch, masterfully dodging the gloves before moving onto the balls. She managed to get over them before stepping up to the zip line. Since she's under 5ft there was a step stool for her to reach the handle bar.
"Here goes nothing." She then zips over to the keys, reaching out blindly and luckily grabbing a key before she splashed down.
"Rose with a key." Greg states
Ryo then started his run. Rose managed to find her way to shore before searching for the chests, she gets to one and struggles getting the key in the lock.
After a few seconds she tosses the lock and opens up the chest, she roams her hand around before pulling out a bandana.
"Rose pulls out the second pink bandana."
"Wait it's pink?" Rose questioned.
"Over here Rose!" Maybelle called out, Rose followed her voice to the carpet.
Rose's time: 1 minute
Ryo makes it to the zip line a dives at the end, key in hand leaving Uma to finally start her first turn. "Finally." She then makes her way up the ramp, a golden string bikini and a thong.

Uma: Going last wasn't too bad, I at least got to see all the hunks get soaked. And I must say, Momma likes.

Uma gets through the steps, and makes a rather unique show of getting through the Sucker Punch. As she bounced over the Big Balls, Ryo unlocks a chest and finds a pink bandana.
"Ryo, joins the Pink team." Greg states as Ryo reached the link carpet.
"Good show, Ryo." Maybelle says.
"Eh, seen better." Rose shrugs.
Ryo ignores the small girl, but nods to the strawberry blonde.
Ryo's time: 43 seconds.
Uma takes a ride in the zip line and splashes down, key in hand.
"With that we start all over, Andrius quickly up the ramp." Greg narrates as Andrius takes his second attempt, quickly going through the first two obstacles and facing down the Big Balls.
"Not this time." He says before bounding over the balls and stepping up to zip down the line, grabbing a key before splashing down.
Uma finds a grey bandana before joining DJ's side. "Sweet, I get three studs." Uma's comment brought blushes to Post and Griff, and an eye roll from Roman.
Uma's time: 1:10
Andrius gets to shore as Brian starts his turn again, getting past the Sucker Punch before falling off the Big Balls.
Deena and Grace also fell on the Big Balls, during which Andrius Collects a pink bandana and joins Katie's side.
Andrius' time: 42 seconds.
Johnny once again falls on the steps, leaving Krystal to take her second attempt. "Try not to break a nail Krystal." Orion mocked.
Krystal glared at him before she ran up the ramp, his words giving her the motivation to one side the steps, get through the Sucker Punch even taking a punch to the face, get over the balls and zip line over to the keys.

Orion: Okay I admit, that was a good run.
Krystal: Showed that cute jerk, hehe. Wait cut out the cute part!

Linka starts her run as Krystal looks through the chest for the right lock, she eventually finds the right lock and finds a pink bandana.
"Krystal, joins her enemy." Greg narrates as Krystal drudges over to the pink mat.
Krystal's time: 45 seconds.
Linka manages to get passed the balls by this point and zips on and grabs a key, once she splashed down Orion begins his second run. Which was as fast as his first run, maybe even faster.
Linka unlocks her chest and grabs a grey bandana, "Got a grey one." Linka announces before joining DJ's team.
Linka's time: 1:10.
Orion grabs a key and quickly swims to the far shore as Paige starts her run. Orion unlocks his second chest finding a pink bandana.
"And with that, we have the twins on the same team!" Greg announces as Orion joined the pink team. Maybelle squealed as she pulls her brother into a hug.
"Oh great." Krystal groaned.
Orion's time: 30 seconds.
Paige was able to get past the first three obstacles, with a few near misses. But she managed to zip over to the keys and grab one before splashing.
Brian makes his third attempt, he was a lot slower than before as he pulls himself through the Sucker Punch Wall. "Fatigue setting in, at this point you can't risk a slip up." Greg commentates as Brian flops across the Big Balls.
Paige by now has found the lock for her key and finds a grey bandana.
Paige's time: 1 minute.
He had just enough left to grab a key before dropping into the water.
Deena then makes her 3rd attempt, this time making past the Big Balls and grabbing a key on the zip line. By then Brian pulls up to a chest, which he unlocks to find a pink bandana.
Brian's time 1:30.
Deena makes it to the zip line and snags a key. Grace then makes her way up. Deena finds herself the last remaining pink bandana.
"And with that, the Pink Team is complete." Greg announces as Deena collapsed on the carpet. Her teammates checking on her.
Deena's time: 1:20.
Grace just manages to grab a key, leaving Johnny to start his third attempt. Grace looks through the three remaining chests, "Eenie, Meenie, Miny, that one." Grace takes the right most unopened chest and unlocks it. Finding a grey bandana before joining the grey squad.
Grace's time: 1:40.
After a while, Johnny approached the two remaining chests and unlocks it, thankfully finding the last bandana. He sighs in relief, "Thank god, I don't think I can take another run." He pulls himself to the grey carpet.
Johnny's time: 1:50.
"And with that, the challenge is over and the teams are set." Greg announces as interns brought the teams waters, which they took. "So guys, how was your first challenge?"
"Exhausting/tiring/fine."
"Grey team. Griff, Roman, Post, Uma, Linka, Paige, Grace, and Johnny." Greg listed off "From here on, your team will be known as... The Growling Grizzlies!"
An image of a grey circle with an angry bear appeared above them.
Roman hums at the name.
"Meanwhile the Pink Team. Maybelle, Rose, Ryo, Krystal, Orion, Andrius, Brian, and Deena." Greg lists off Katie's team. "You guys, are the Prowling Panthers!"
A pink circle with a panther appeared over them as well.
"Now, for the winners of the challenge. With a combined time... of 7 minutes... 21 seconds... are the Panthers!"
Greg's announcement brought cheers from the Panthers, Katie squealing as she brought her whole team in for a group hug. The Grizzlies all groaning, Roman pounding on the ground in frustration.
"Now, for your reward. You'll get exclusive access to this." He snapped his fingers, and a few interns wheeled out an 8 person hot tub, bringing out smiles from the winning team.
They all went over and enjoyed the fruits of their labor, Greg then faced the Grizzlies. "As for you guys, hit the showers."
The Grizzlies complied, walking away leaving the host and counselors. "I think this season is shaping up pretty well." Katie says.
DJ then adds, "Yeah, and with less potential for lawsuits. I'm gonna go get dinner started, tonight is pizza night." DJ then headed to the kitchen.
"Oh, I'll help!" Katie followed him.
Greg then faced the audience, "Well folks, we have our two teams. How will they fair? Will they get along or crash and burn? And who'll be the first camper to fall? Stay tuned for the answers and more, on...
