Once all the remaining active competitors have gathered at the elimination site, Greg announced the challenge for the episode. "All right campers, for this challenge we're taking a page out of the book Total Drama Island. The Awakethon!" Nearly all the kids gasped, "But this time around its gonna be a little different, you guys will try to remain awake for 24 hours. The team with the most campers still awake wins immunity, or which ever full team doesn't fall before the allotted time."

"Sounds a little easier to handle." Krystal said.

Greg let out a smirk, "I wouldn't be so sure Krystal."

"What do you... yawwn... wait what?" Krystal as confused by the yawn she just let out.

Grace also let out a small yawn, followed by a few of her other teammates and some of the Grizzlies. Confused Grace asked, "Dude we just ate breakfast why are we so tired?"

"Sleep aids." everyone turned to Ryo, "Clearly they snuck them into our breakfast to make us all drowsy."

"Correct Ryo." Greg nodded, "Also there will be mini challenges that will surely make staying awake a challenge," one screen wipe later "like a lap around the activity field to start." The campers got into a starting position, "Before we begin, Panthers. Since you guys have a man advantage, you'll have to sit someone out."

"DIBS!" Krystal immediately shouted.

"Krystal, will sit out for the panthers. And will not be voted off if her team loses." Greg stated.

"Later suckers!" Krystal ran back to the girls' cabin, since she's now exempt she can head off to sleep. Much to her teammates annoyance, especially Orion.

Krystal: Sleep and immunity, score.

Orion: Just like her, always finding ways to get out of work. Though given what our challenge is today, I'd probably do the same thing.

"Alright, the rest of you. On my mark, the challenge begins... now!"

The participants all took off, with Roman at the front of the pack. At the end was Ryo and Linka, who were just casually walking. Linka questioned, "Hey, why aren't you running like the rest of your team?"

"Just preserving my energy, if my team wants to win we'll need all the energy we can to survive the next 24 hours." Ryo answered, "What about you?"

"Same as you, don't want to exhaust myself more than the sleep aids have." Linka replied. She then saw him looking at her again.

"Are you sure we haven't met before?"

"I'm positive." Linka assures.

"Its just, you remind me so much of someone from my past. Someone I used to work with so closely."

"Oh, were you and her close?"

"I guess you could say something like that."

Linka and Ryo were the last ones to finish, by this time no one feel asleep but the ones who ran were looking pretty tired. "Alright, now that everyone is finished we will spend the rest of the challenge in the mess hall." Greg said before he and the counselors escorted the drowsy kids to the mess hall.

Paige looked at her watch, "Nearly 50 minutes in, this is gonna be a long day." she sighed.

"Just stay focused." Post told him as he paced beside the Grizzlies' table.

"Hey Post, I need to talk to you about Roman." she told the rapper before she looked to Roman, who was doing pushups with Uma and Linka sitting on top of him. The former trying to resist the urge to roam her hand through his hair. "He's super strong, but he's also really aggressive. Maybe its best we lose him as soon as we can before he seriously blows a gasket."

Post looked towards the guy she's talking about, "I don't know, I try to see the best in people. Maybe we should wait and see how it goes."

Over on the Panthers' side, we see the 7 participating campers all trying to stay awake. Andrius splashed a cup of water on his face, Deena did the same with a full on pitcher.

Maybelle and Orion were entertaining themselves with a game of chess, Orion facepalming his sister stealing the the tiny horse pieces.

Ryo was pouring a pack of crème into a coffee cup before placing the empty packet on top of a tower, once it reached 10 packets he stirred up to extra crème coffee before taking a sip.

Greg kept his eye on his watch as the seconds ticked.

"Alright, 4 hours in and everyone is still awake. Time to change that." Greg stated before pulling out a projector.

"What, are we watching a movie?" Uma questioned as she was slouched in her seat.

"Not exactly." Greg said before Kaite pulled out a white screen and DJ hit the lights.

"The History of Yarn: Volume 1.

Yarn, this strand of interlocking fibers was first created in..."

Not even 4 seconds in and 5 people conked out of boredom.

"And we have our first drop outs, Deena and Brian from the Panthers. Uma, Linka, and Grace from the Grizzlies." Greg narrates as the video documentary played.

Panthers: 5

Grizzlies: 4

Roman growled, "Chill man, its still somewhat early." Paige tried to calm him.

"Just st-"

"I get it! Stay Positive geesh!" Roman snapped at Post's attempt. Everyone reared back from his outburst, even the Panthers thought to themselves 'Touchy'.

Maybelle: That Roman guy is pretty intense... nah that's putting it lightly. He's a total psycho!

Paige: Okay, I don't know what Roman's problem is but he needs to calm his ass down or else he's on the next bus out of here.

Rose: Roman's definitely the guy who'd blow a fuse any second now... my type of guy.

"... and that's the history of yarn."

The video finally ends, Griff had mixed up a few chemicals from inside his jacket. "Okay, hopefully this should ward off the effects of the sleep pills."

Panthers: 5

"So give it us." Roman tiredly demanded.

"First I have to test it, what kind of scientist would I be if I gave it to a civilian without first testing for side effects?" Griff questioned. "Anyone of you wanna test it?" he held out his mixture to his teammates.

"Not it." Post said.

"Not it." Roman repeated.

Paige sighed, "Fine I'll do it." Paige grabbed the vial and drank it.

"Well?" Roman questioned.

"Huh, suddenly I don't fe- zzzzzz~" Paige faceplanted on the table, her snoring indicated it didn't work.

Roman growled again at Griff, who muttered "Or it made it worse."

Grizzlies: 3

Ryo observed the opposing team, "They're really falling apart."

"Ryo!" Maybelle exclaimed as she stood near him, "Don't move... but there is an angry gnome on your shoulder." she told him as her eyes were wide and had dark circles.

"Ugh, sis there's no-"

Maybelle silenced her brother before approaching the perched Panther, and grabbing the gnome which then attacked her. She wrestled in on the ground, but to everyone else she looked like she was having a meltdown. "GET OFF ME YOU DUMB GNOME!"

Rose raised an eyebrow after hearing that, "What's going on?"

"Cleary she's having a sleep depraved hallucination." Ryo theorized as Maybelle kept wrestling the invisible gnome.

Almost halfway done and the sun had already set, it was dark out as the Grizzlies were down to Post and Roman while the Panthers still had Ryo, Andrius and the twins. Rose was lying down on the floor napping, Griff was sprawled out on the Grizzlies' table.

Roman was seething as he paced angrily around the table, "Um, Roman? You feeling alright?" Roman ignored him as an intern brought a tray with glasses of milk. "Here, maybe some milk will calm you down." Post grabbed two and held one out to his teammate, who replied with silence. "Okay then. I'll just leave yours here." he put it down before taking a sip of his own.

The Panthers were given their own glass, Maybelle wobbly took hers "Hey look at me, I'm riding a dragon!" she giggled as she rode her imaginary dragon.

Orion was about to drink his, "I wouldn't do that if I were you." Ryo told him, Orion raised an eyebrow at him before he tested the milk with his finger.

"Yep, warm. Good call." Orion thanked his teammate.

"Warm?" Post heard and looked at his now empty glass in realization "Crud." he groaned before falling to the ground a sleep.

Grizzlies: 1

"OH COME ON!" Roman yelled.

"With that Roman's the last one left for his-"

"SHUT UP GREG!" Roman grabbed the host by the shirt.

"Hey! Calm down will you?" Orion exclaimed as he approached the living volcano, only to receive a back elbow that knocked him down.

"Hey, no one hurts my brother like that!" Maybelle snapped out of her sleep deprived state when her brother was hit, she went over and slapped him. Which got her a monstrous roar in the face by the Roman that scared her away "GET ME OUT OF HERE DRAGY" she cried as she rode off on her invisible dragon.

Seeing this take place Andrius hopped onto the table and leaped onto Roman's back, Roman yelled as Andrius wrapped him in a sleeper hold. Ryo grimaced as Roman slammed him into a wall, trying to get the tiny man off him. "And now Roman's suffering the anxiety." Orion pulled himself up, "You okay?" Ryo asked the boy twin.

"I'm fine."

"WHAT'S GOING ON!" Krystal complained as she stormed into the Mess Hall, "I'M TRYING TO GET SOME BEAUTY-" she saw Andrius and Roman's tussle. "Man 3 eps in and we already have a brawl. Wish I had popcorn." Roman had then tossed Andrius threw a table, the crash could be heard from the cabins.

Rose jumped when she heard the crash, "What's going on?"

"Roman's lost it." Ryo told her as Orion came at him, but Roman just slammed him threw another table.

"HEY!" Krystal screamed, "Leave him alone!" she got in Roman's face, she snarled at her. She reared back, "You wouldn't hurt me? You don't have the guts." she weakly challenged.

"Try me." he reared up a punch, but was caught by Orion.

"Don't... hurt her!" Orion tiredly let out before he ate a punch to the gut which knocked the wind out of him.

"ORI!" Krystal cried before she ran to him.

"HEY!" Roman turned to face Rose, "Why don't you try that with me?"

"HAHA!" Roman cackled "Like I'd waste my fists on a little girl."

"What's wrong? Scared Romie of a little blind girl?"

Roman snarled, "I've been called a lot of things, scared is not one of them."

"Aw, I think fear looks cute on you." she gushed.

Roman's eye twitched, "Does this look cute to you?" he took a step towards her, she let out a smirk before she caught him hip toss. He then got up and went for a flurry of strikes, Rose dodged every last one of them before giving him a high knee that sent him stumbling back. Roman shook his head as he held his nose, "Not bad for a little girl."

"Aw thanks." she smiled.

He growled that she wasn't taking this seriously, he came at her again with a round house punch she ducked it and planted a big one on his cheek, confused he froze before eating a roundhouse kick that sent towards Ryo who shoved something in his mouth. Roman gagged and pulled his face away before feeling woozy and stumbled to the ground unconscious.

Ryo: Good thing I picked the pills out of my food this morning, otherwise we'd wouldn't subdue him.

(BZZT)

Greg who watched the whole fight in shock, "Well, that happened."

"Uh, did we miss something?" they all faced the entrance to the mess hall, seeing all the eliminated players. The one who asked was Grace.

(Later)

The Grizzlies were all seated at the elimination site, "After all that, you guys lost. And I'm pretty sure I know who you all voted for, so just come up if you know you're safe." Greg told them, and all the Grizzlies went up and claimed a marshmallow. Except for Roman, who seemed somewhat calmed now.

"I'm not surprised." Roman sighed as he rubbed his forehead.

"Roman, go pack your bags." Greg told him. Roman got up and walked past his former teammates.

Paige: I tried to warn him.

Post: Sorry man, you brought this on yourself.

Uma: To think I wanted him in my pants.

Grace: Roman needs to get his temper under control.

Roman walked down to the camp entrance, angry with himself "Once again, gave into anger." he groaned to himself. "No wonder they kicked me out of football, and wrestling, and tap dance." he reached the entrance where the Loser Jeep awaited for him. Once he was inside he was driven off, he thought back to during the fight and was kissed by Rose. She was blind and much smaller than him, but she stood up to him and got hits on him.

He shook it off, before he was stopped at the same spot as Johnny was. Confused he got out and followed the path to the small shack, he saw the sign and thought 'Hmm, maybe it's not over afterall.'
