"Last time on Total Drama: Diamond Lake, we were off to the races as the teams went on a cross country race on go karts. There were some major bumps and crazy spills. Orion and Krystal's relationship hit a slight bump, the specifics of which I don't want to get into, but they were able to patch things up and take home the first place prize of a 3 day trip to the best spa this side of the Atlantic...
This episode we give our campers a nice break from competition, and turn our attention to the final Dark Forest Challenge. Who's gonna punch their tickets back to the game? Will Roman's streak finally come to an end? Has Andrius' luck finally run out? Can Maybelle prove what she can do without her twin? Has Brian partied for the last time? The camera opened up with a shot of the southern part of the island. The camera flew past Greg and went straight up into the sky and started to drop into the lake. "Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine, you guys are on my mind." The camera dropped down into the lake revealing Orion, who seemed to be looking for something.
"You asked me what I wanted to be and now I think the answer is plain to see." Orion rises up to get a breath of air, only to knock Brian off of his surfboard.
"I wanna be famous." The camera moved over to the eastern side of the Island, where Rose and Krystal were glaring at each other.
"I wanna live close to the sun." The camera then cut to the activity center behind the mess hall, where Grace was listening to Post play music.
"So pack your bags cause I've already won." The camera moved over to a different part of the Activity Center where it revealed Deena and Roman engaging in an intense arm-wrestling match.
"Everything to prove nothing in my way." The camera turned around and headed over to the mess hall while passing Paige, who seemed to be trying to talk to Andrius.
"I'll get there one day" The camera then went to the kitchen, where counselors DJ and Katie were fighting a slop monster.
Cause I wanna be famous." Inside the mess hall, Linka was trying not to gag at the food and Ryo was staring at it with no emotion in his eyes.
"Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na." The camera headed off to the western side of the island, and quickly showed off Johnny and Uma having a contest to see who the better eye candy is.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous. I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous." The camera stopped at Griff, who was giving Maybelle a piggyback ride, only for him to trip and fall into the water. The water cleared from the camera to show all of the campers around a bonfire whistling the tune.
In the familiar shack, Roman and Andrius were doing some final preparations for the next redemption challenge. "Is this really necessary?" the little man questioned as he was pull ups, right beside him Roman. But he was doing hanging by his legs doing like elevated sit ups, and tossing up a 30lb medicine ball.
"Its the last redemption challenge, which means we can't take anything lightly." Roman said as he caught the medicine ball. "100!" Roman counted before he dropped the medicine ball.
"Okay, but my basketball coach says there is such a thing as over-training." Andrius said as he did two more pull ups before dropping down.
Roman panted before trying one last rep, but his arms gave out and he ended up falling on his face. He groaned as he pushed himself up, "Maybe you're right."
"Sup peeps!"
The two heard as coming from the lantern lit path came Brian, followed by Maybelle.
"Brian? Maybelle?" Andrius let out.
"Hey Andrius." Maybelle said as he ruffled the little man's hair, much to his embarrassment.
"So this is where the losers go?" Brian asked as he looked at the rundown shack. "Not gonna lie, kind of a letdown."
"Hey, I think its nice. For a serial killer." Maybelle replied.
"Actually this is just a placeholder, until you lose the challenge." Roman said, rubbing his temples after hanging upside down for so long.
"What do you mean?" Maybelle asked, a little scared remembering what happened on the third episode the last time she saw the Samoan.
"Oh, they're having us compete in challenges to win a shot back to the game." Andrius explained, "Roman here has been at this since the first one."
"Woah bro, that's insane." Brian said.
"By the way, why did you both get voted off?" Andrius questioned, Brian and Maybelle were really nice. Its hard to think of why they'd be voted off.
"Actually, we lost a kart race. And since we drove a two person kart, we were both eliminated." Maybelle explained.
"Its a huge bummer man." Brian said.
"ATTENTION FAILURES! Y'ALL BETTER HIT THE HAY! TOMORROW IS GONNA BE YOUR FINAL CHANCE, I EXPECT YOU TO BE AT THE FIELD BRIGHT AND EARLY! NOW START SNOOZING, OR THERE WILL BE SOME BRUISING!"
"Huh, must be a big one. Usually the challenges happen as soon as there are three people." Roman said.
"Well, you heard the loud booming voice. Lets get some shut eye." Brian said as he walked right into the shack.
"May, can you help me with Roman?" Andrius asked as he tried to help Roman up.
"Oh, sure." Maybelle went on Roman's other side, the two were able to get the big guy back on his feet.
"Thanks." Roman let out before he trudged into the shack, leaving Maybelle and Andrius alone.
"So I see you and Roman have been getting close." Maybelle says.
"Yeah, once you get past his temper and his competitiveness, he's actually a pretty cool guy." Andrius returned.
"I knew that underneath that angry scowl he's a huge softy." Maybelle cooed, at that moment Brian was tossed out of the window. "Okay, maybe a not softy." she went over to the shack, but when she opened the door she found Roman cradling a picture of two kids.
"You two okay, did he hurt you?" he then saw Maybelle at the door, "What are you lookin at?"
"Nothing." Maybelle closed the door with a slight smirk, maybe he was a little softy.
The following morning, the quartet reached the challenge sight. Where they found a large pool with 8 elevated podiums surrounding what looked like a sweeper arm from the 2008 gameshow Wipeout.
"Welcome to your final opportunity to prove that you belong here, in one of my favorite obstacles from my favorite show that involves hurting people. You guys will be standing on these podiums, trying to avoid getting hit by the gyro sweeper. That gets faster with each rotation."
"Why are there 8 podiums?" Maybelle asked, "There are only 4 of us."
"Because, to make sure the Dark Forest goes out with a bang. I've brought back 4 DF losers for one last chance." Chef answered before blowing his whistle, and from the side came "Deena."
"Sup."
"Paige."
"Hey."
"Post."
"Yo."
"And... Griff."
"Salutations!"
Chef chuckled, "Now everyone, GET TO POSITIONS!"
The following morning, Orion and Krystal were seen waking up in a fancy hotel room. With a queen sized bed, shag carpeting, a balcony with a view of the ocean. Orion yawned, "Man, I haven't slept like that in ages. I can't believe we're gonna be living in this fancy spa hotel for 3 whole days."
"Eh, me and my parents come here on family vacations. Or whenever he once to get away from the rift raft of the small town we live in." Krystal says.
"Oh, you don't think we're gonna run into them here... right?" Orion asked with a sweaty nervous look. Lord knows he's dreading when her father finds out their dating.
"I don't think so." Krystal said. "But lets not worry about that, we got a whole day of getting pampered to look forward to."
Krystal then showed him all the luxuries of their reward, shiatsu massages, mud baths, facials. All with a number of staff that catered to their every whim.
Soon the two were sitting in a steam room, each with a towel. "Man, I so needed this after weeks of competition." Krystal sighed as she slumped in her seat.
"Me two, this trip has done a number for pores. It just occurred to me I've been living in a cabin in the woods for three years, what have I been doing with my life?" Orion questioned.
Krystal chuckled, "You know, this brings back what happened when we sat out of the Impractical Jokers challenge."
Orion looked to her confused, before going wide eyed with a blush "Oooooh." he thought back to their steamy moment in the camp steam house.
Krystal then scooted over to him, "You know, there're no heads here to ruin this moment."
"I don't know..." he then got a look of her eyes, her beautiful, sexy ocean blue eyes. He could feel himself drowning in her stare. "Ah what the heck." he supposed before the two locked lips. Feeling at peace as their tongues wrestled for dominance, they haven't had a kiss like that in days.
Orion even pulled Krystal into his lap as the room filled up with even more steam. "Love me, Orion Palmers." she breathed.
"As you wish, Krystal Southeast." he whispered back before the two started tongue wrestling again.
Just as Orion reached for her towel, they heard a DING! Signifying their time is up, begrudgingly pulling away. "Damn it, just as it was getting good." Krystal complained.
The two left the room after putting their robes back on, right as they left the room next to the one they were in opened up. Where a hand reached out for a robe with the initials SE.

"ALL RIGHT MAGGOTS! THE LAST KID STANDING AFTER 3 ROUNDS WILL ONE AGAIN VIE FOR 5 MILLION BIG ONES!"
"Why 3?" Post questioned.
"NO QUESTIONS!" Chef bellowed.
"How are you still here?" Paige asked Roman.
"Because I got a job to do." he replied.
"Nice butt Andry!" Deena called over to the small boy.
"Um... thanks." Andrius said with a blush.
"Alright, round 1 starts in-" Chef then blared an airhorn and the sweeper arm started to spin. The round started off good enough as everyone managed to clear the beam. After 2 successful rotations, Chef pressed a button, causing the beam to start to spin.
Roman managed to hop the bar, but then the rest had to duck the beam. Upon the next rotation, from Roman to Deena they had to duck, Griff to Brian they jumped and cleared the bar.
Finally someone was eliminated as after Roman ducks the gyrating bar, Paige tried to duck but was knocked off her podium.
"AND WE HAVE OUR FIRST VICTIM!" Chef commentates.
After that the rest were able to jump, but Griff's foot was caught and he was pulled into a splits as he fell to the water. After him the contestants ducked the bar. Soon the bar was spinning and gyrating faster.
Roman jumped, Andrius and Deena duck, Post leaps as does Maybelle, but then Brian gets hit in the gut and falls into the drink. Soon Roman leaps again, Andrius tries to jump but was caught by the bar. He clings onto it until he's driven into Deena and both end up falling into the water.
They both pop their heads out of the water, the juvie girl giving a skunk eye to Andrius who chuckles nervously. Post then clears the bar as it rises and Maybelle ducks the bar.
Roman then tries to duck but gets tapped in the shoulder and is pushed off, but he grabs onto the handle and tries to pull himself up.
"ROMAN'S DOWN, BUT NOT OUT!"
Chef belts out in the megaphone as Post tries to step over the bar, but gets sent into the water Maybelle ducks the bar as it comes back to Roman, who just gets back up and manages to clear the bar. "Just you and me little lady!" Roman exclaims.
"So it is!" Maybelle replies. Maybelle jumps the bar, Roman ducks. This goes on for a few rotations as either competitor jumps or ducks, but then Maybelle gets clipped as she attempts to leap and falls into the water.
BREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
"ROUND 1 OVER! ROMAN WINS!" Chef calls out as the bar stops.
"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" Roman lets out a war cry before backflipping into the water.
"That was awesome!" Brian exclaims from the sidelines, "What did you guys think?"
"I think I just wet myself." Andrius muttered.
"Pansy." Deena pushed the small boy into the water.
"Too bad Johnny's missing out." Griff said.
Post then tells the invisible teen, "He's must be bored out of his mind right now."
(Meanwhile)
Johnny was shown playing video games, "TAKE THIS ZOMBIES! HAHAHA!"
(Back to the action)
"As we get set for Round 2, lets look at Roman's journey up to this point." Chef as we take a look back at Roman's time on the show up to this point. From his early days, to his freak out in the awakethon, and all his redemption challenges he's either won or survived.
"Roman started off this show with a short fuse, with little patience for tom foolery. This didn't bode well as went on a sleep deprived rampage in the Awakethon, but his time in the Dark Forest has helped mellow in him out. His growing friendship with the smallest contestant here brought out a different side to Roman, with his his boys Jimmy and Jey back home Roman looks to make the best with his well earned second chance."
Roman swims up to the edge of the pool, where Chef and a female intern with blue hair walked up. The lady intern then asked Roman, "Roman, this is your 6th redemption challenge. How does it feel to have survived this long in the Dark Forest?"
Roman pants as he combs his fingers through his hair, "Feels exhausting, but worth it. I've worked my ass off to get to this point, now I've got a second chance in the game. This time I won't blow it."
As he pulls himself out of the pool, Chef then says "Roman, you remind me a lot of myself when I was younger. Congratulations on making it back." he then hands Roman his redemption necklace.
"Thanks." Roman puts it back on.
Ryo was right now in the boy's cabin, with no one else there he had plenty of time to go over all the evidence of the case he's gathered so far. There was the old camp photo, the article Orion and Krystal found, and the results of the DNA test for the severed head.
"Hmmmmm, I just don't know what I'm missing. From what Orion and me gathered up, the drowning did happen. But when we checked the lake there was no body, and that head is definitely Jaxon's mother. I haven't had a case like this since that spree of criminal heart attacks that spanned for 2 years."
Ryo continued to think over the case, not sure where to go from here. He then decided its best to use this free day he had to go do some exploring.
(Later)
Ryo and Rose were now walking through the woods, a great distance away from the camp "So why am I out here again?" Rose questioned as she and Ryo hiked through the forest, Rose grabbing onto his sleeve so they don't get seperated.
"Because if I go alone I'll end up killed, that's how 70 percent of horror victims die. Also, with your heightened sense you make a perfect alarm on when to its time to bail." Ryo explained.
"So I'm basically the look out?" Rose snarked. "Do you have any idea where you're going?"
"Not entirely." he then stopped, "Perhaps its best we go back."
"Great, so you dragged me out here for nothing." Rose complained.
"I thought I'd find more evidence on the Diamond Lake Drowning case, but it seems I've wasted both mine and your time." Ryo sighed.
"Look, its not easy being a detective. But pushing yourself to finish a case is not gonna help, maybe something will pop up later." Rose said, "For now lets just get back to camp, DJ is frying some burgers for lunch."
"I suppose." Ryo said as he turned back for camp, but just as he was about to walk back.
"Hold on." Rose said.
"What?" Ryo asked.
"Turn your head 90 degrees to your right." Rose instructed, Ryo did so and from a distance he saw what looked like a shadowy figure lumbering through the woods.
"What the?" Ryo questioned. He then decided to follow it, Rose in tow. They kept a close distance until they saw the figure go into a makeshift shack, they came up to it and hid as the figure walked out and into the woods. Thankfully they weren't seen.
"Who was that?" Rose questioned, even if she can't see she the being she felt a dark aura.
"I'm not so sure." Ryo said as he and Rose hid in a nearby bush, "Just give me a signal if you feel him come back." Ryo slowly came out of the bush and headed to the shack, which didn't look to have any windows. He slowly put his hand on the door knob and pushed open a door. "I don't like this one bit." he said as he saw nothing but darkness. He then reached for a light switch, which he found and flipped it.
And what he found shocked him to his core, "Oh shit."...

... Priscilla's disembodied head, a lime green sweater, and several dead bodies surrounding them.
Ryo did the only thing that came to his mind... run.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~" Ryo ran out the shack screaming, alarming Rose.
"What's wrong?" she asked as she was scooped up by Ryo, who was still screaming as he ran all the way back towards camp. 'What he saw must have really spooked him, I can feel his heart beating like a jack hammer. Thank god I was born blind.'
Once everyone else gets back on their podiums, we being Round Number 2. Chef then calls, "Alright, maggots. Lets found out who will be joining Roman as our next returnee. And... BEGIN!" Chef calls as he activates the gyro sweeper.
The arm begins to spin and gyrate, Paige and Andrius ducks as does Deena. Griff manages to jump the bar, as does Post and Maybelle. Brian just narrowly ducks the bar, soon the bar goes even faster. Jump, jump, duck, duck, jump, duck, jump. Paige is then swept up by the sweeper. Andrius then gets clocked by the arm and is knocked into the water, followed by Deena who tries to jump but the bar rises to flip her off into the water.
"Mother-" Griff exclaims before getting pushed off the platform by the bar.
The wipeout streak ends as Post and Maybelle duck the bar, Brian then clears the bar. But in the next rotation with the bar going fast, Post and Maybelle jump and Brain tries to but gets clocked chop blocked in the knees and lands headfirst into the water.
"I'm tired." Post says as he ducks the bar, Maybelle also ducks.
"I need a soda." Maybelle says as the bar starts the next rotation. The bar comes towards Post, who makes a tired leap but gets hit by the bar and crunches on the podium before falling into the water. Maybelle ducks the bar as the horn blares for the end of round 2.
BREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
"THAT'S ROUND 2! GIRL ORION WINS!"
"YES! YES!" Maybelle cheers before doing a little victory dance. "I won, oo oo, oh yeah I won. Mm mm yeah, WOO!" she finishes off with a cannon ball.
"Congrats Bra!" Brian says as she swims past her ex teammate, both shared a high five as she swims towards Chef and Roman.
Chef then says to the audience, "Now we go to how she got here." We then see Maybelle's greatest hits.
"This twin has been a ball of positivity on this show, from wrestling imaginary leprechauns to helping out her teammates with their relationships. And despite the way she was eliminated, she still kept her smile. And she'll smile on as she's coming back to the game."
Meanwhile, back at camp. Grace laid out in her bed in the girl's cabin, she was still feeling the effects of last night's elimination of her boyfriend.
"Hey." she looks up to see Linka "Don't worry, you'll see him again soon."
"Thanks Linka, its just so weird. We've been dating for like a week now, this is the longest I've ever had a boyfriend. I mean we did everything together, movie nights, camping, skinny dipping after lights out." Grace listed off the things she did with Brian.
"You must really like him do you?" Linka asks.
"Yes, but I think maybe more than that." Grace admits, "I never felt this way about any of the other people I dated. But with Brian it's just feels different, like being with him just feels good."
"Grace, from the sounds of it... I think you love him."
Grace thinks for a second, "You know... I think I do. He's the only person I've ever know to feel totally comfortable with, he's just so chill and understanding. I just hope my dad doesn't freak when I bring Brian home."
"And I'm glad you have someone you care about." Linka said as she looked away.
"What's wrong Link?" Grace asked.
"Its nothing." Linka said.
"You miss your family?" Grace figured.
"A little, I still miss my parents. I've always wondered where my dad went." Linka sighed.
"How did you get into mysteries?" the chillaxer asked.
"Actually, it was from my twin brother." Linka answered.
"Woah, I didn't know you had a twin."
"Yeah, it was just me and him after our dad vanished. He was the best detective where I'm from." Linka frowned as she said that.
"Did... did something happen?" Grace hesitantly asked.
Linka sighed, "Yes, something did."
"You don't have to talk about it if-"
"No, its okay. Just don't mention this to anyone." Linka told Grace, who swore to secrecy. "About a year ago, my brother had been given a spot on some big case and he asked me to come along. He never told me the name of who gave it to him, but I went along with him. We solved it, but then..." Linka lightly sniffled.
Grace patted her on the back, "Its okay."
Linka continued, "During the chase, the car me and my brother were in crashed."
"Oh my god." Grace gasped.
"Only I survived, but I got so badly burnt I lost all my facial features. The only photo available for reconstruction was my driver's license." Linka's eyes started to cry, Grace pulled her in for a hug. "Since then I swore I'd find out what happened to our dad, it was why he became a detective anyway."
"What was his name?" Grace said.
"Linus."
"ALRIGHT SOLDIERS! THIS IS YOUR LAST SHOT! IF YOU FALL HERE YOU'RE DONE! THIS IS FOR ALL THE MARBLES, SO MAKE IT COUNT!"
Andrius stares shakily at the sweeper arm, Deena cracks her neck, Griff pants.
"Alright on the count of 3..." Chef called, "3!"
BRRRRREEEEE
The sweeper started for the final time, Paige started the chain with a leap, then Andrius and Deena. The bar then started to gyrate, leaving Griff, Post, and Brian to duck. The bar picked up speed as Paige successfully jumped the bar, as does Andrius before Deena had to duck the bar.
This kept up as the bar gain speed in rotation and gyration. Soon the first person to fall came as Paige was knocked off her podium, she splashed down before popping out of the water "Ah man."
Andrius managed to duck the bar, Deena then leaped over it as it came at her. The remaining boys all got past that rotation, but on the next turn Griff just tiredly let the bar knock him down "Good night everyone!" he said as he fell down into the water.
Post managed to leap, but Brian was clocked in the nuts as he was tossed down into the water. It was now down to 3. Andrius, Deena, and Postmaster P. They each had to leap and/or duck as the bar went faster with each rotation it makes, Andrius just makes his leap and so does Deena.
Post then ducks, but his tall body was also tapped by the bar causing him to fall off the pedestal. Just barely holding on to the handle, he tries to pull himself up as the bar came back around. Andrius ducking as Deena was knocked off as she tried to duck, Post managed to get back up on his feet.
Only to get clipped out from under him by the bar, sending him down into the water.
BRRREEEEEE
"AND THAT'S IT! ANDRIUS TAKES THE FINAL SPOT!"
Andrius panted, "Yaaaaaaay." he let out before collapsing down into the drink. Andrius pops out of the water just as Deena swam over to him.
"Well, looks like you made it back." she said to him.
"I pant, pant I did... didn't I?" he breathlessly let out.
"I'm proud of you." Deena said.
"Thanks..." Andrius then paused before asking her. "So, about what happened after you got eliminated. I uh... wanted to know-"
"Oh fine I'll go out with you, just stop begging." she drawled out.
"But I didn-" he was interrupted by her grabbing his face and kissing him full on the lips. Making him go beet red as she swam away.
"Win that race for me!" she called back to him, making sure he didn't see her blush. He just floated there as a video package played for him.
"What a journey for Andrius, starting off as a shy pathetic loser. Survives 4 grueling Dark Forest challenges, and even snagging a lady in the process. Whether its breaking through solid drywall, or breaking through the hard shell of monstrous Roman. Let this kid be a lesson on how you should never EVER count out the little guy."
Once all three round winners were next to Chef, he looked to all the losers that competed here. "Kids, don't look at this as a failure. Look at it more as a learning experience, and to never give up on yourselves. NOW GET LOST!" he finished up with a belt of the megaphone.
"Good luck dudes, say hi to Grace for me." Brian said as he was escorted away.
"Make the others grovel at your feet!" Griff exclaimed.
"Just stay positive guys." Post told them.
"May the rest of your time here be grand." Paige waved.
"Later Andrius, later Maybelle, later Roman... Byyyyyeee Andrius~" Deena waved her fingers at that last part and gave the small guy an air kiss, causing the little man to blush as it landed on his cheek.
"You said that twice." Paige informed her.
"So?" Deena replied.
Chef then turned to the challenge winners, "And as for you three, here to congratulate you on your victory here." he side stepped as out came the host, Greg Sampson.
"Roman, Andrius, Maybelle. Let me be the first to say congratulations on being the first Dark Forest champions." Greg told them, Maybelle squealed as she pulled in both boys in a group hug. "For your reward in making it to this point, not only are you gonna be getting a second chance at 5 million dollars. You also get a five star dinner at the fanciest restaurant in town, fully paid."
"Did you hear that? A fancy dinner!" Maybelle exclaimed.
"Yeah, we heard it." Roman groaned as the girl's hug crushed his and Andrius' spines.
"I can't breathe." Andrius let out.
"Now go and get ready." Greg saw them off, "And that wraps up this episode of Total Drama: Diamond Lake." he turned to the campers, "How will those three fair in the second chance? What new mysteries will unfold? Tune in next time for when the teams are officially split. But first, Chef Hatchet." he hands the reality show vet a check.
"What's this?" Chef asked.
"Your paycheck for the whole season, plus a bonus." Greg answered.
When Chef looked at the numbers on the check, he looked like he was about to cry as heavenly music can be heard in the background. "This... is the greatest... day in my life."
Greg smiled at the old guy, before facing the camera. "Before we sign off, a huge thanks to FreshmEn and lordgemini for their support. And all who have faved and followed up with this story so far, lets hope we can grow those numbers on...
