May 4th, 1980- Laurie and Fez's Vow Renewal

The driveway was scattered with flower petals, as Eric, Kelso, and Fez set up chairs where Kitty told them to. This renewal had been semi-rushed, but planned enough that they could invite those most important to them.

Red and Fez had eventually hashed out their differences, and the longer he watched the two together, the more apparent it became that they truly did love each other. All it took was for Laurie to shed her previous skin.

And, they had decided that they would keep their marriage, and do a vow renewal. So they could be around the ones they love, and her Daddy could walk her down the aisle.

It was a beautiful sixty-five degree day. The sun was out, the garage had a flower arch, and a beautiful altar in front of the door. Inside, they had cleared it out, and set up tables of pickies and food. Everyone had brought something, almost like a potluck. Laurie had Donna and Brooke as Bridesmaids, and appointed Jackie as her maid of honor.

Betsy was the flower girl. She stood with Jackie, practicing her skills with mulch in the garden.

Flowers were blooming, and the house was bustling, and Fez paced nervously. The wedding wasn't huge, it was tiny, and almost informal. A few family members, old friends from school, and some neighbors gathered together to witness the day.

"Jackie, Fez is very nervous."

"Unca Fez, it's okay to be scared. But-but Mommy and Daddy say it's brave to try." Betsy uttered out. She placed her hand on his pant leg. Her uncle picked her up. She placed her hands on either side of his face.

"Oh, my sweet. What would I ever do without you?" He sighed dramatically.

"On the most magical day." Betsy put on a bad attempt at a fake accent, and he snorted. "Let's take you to your Daddy so you can get ready."

Jackie stood, still in her sweatpants and hoodie, her hand over her stomach. Her Braxton Hicks were very bothersome today, but she was still a few weeks out from her due date.

"How ya feelin', Satan?"

"Pregnant." She groaned, scratching at the curlers in her hair.

Donna and Laurie were picking up her dress from the cleaners, and Brooke was ironing the bridesmaids dresses. They were all wearing beautiful blue, since it had suited them all so well, Brooke's hair was tied back in an updo with flowers.

She walked into the basement where they had made a makeshift bridal suite. Brooke smiled warmly at her.

"How do you feel?" She asked.

Jackie looked at her, pursing her lips. "Like I have a watermelon stuck somewhere between my ovaries and my vagina." She groaned. Brooke frowned.

"When Betsy dropped I felt the same. Before you know it, you'll have your body back, and that beautiful girl will be in your arms." She told her, setting the iron aside. "

"Boy." She corrected.

"Would you like me to help you with your hair?"

Jackie smiled. "Please?"

"You know, I'm sure all this struggle will come full circle. I know we aren't the best of friends, but we're both Moms. And I'm here for you." She placed her hand on the shorter girl's shoulder, smiling at her in the mirror.

Jackie felt her heart flutter at the sentiment.

After her hair was curled neatly in a side bun with a side french braid, tendrils falling in her face, she was applying makeup when Laurie flounced into the basement with Donna, both wearing casual clothes and beautiful hair and makeup. Laurie held her dress in her hand.

"I can't believe I'm getting married." She gushed. "To Fez." She added dreamily.

Jackie laughed. "None of us can."

She earned herself a playful glare as they began to ready themselves, and Kitty came down with mimosas, and one single orange juice for Jackie.

"Oh, honey." She gushed. "Look at how beautiful you look."

"Mom, don't make me ruin my makeup." She snapped, choked up. Kitty embraced her daughter.

"I'm so happy for you."

After a brief toast, they all got dressed. The ladies were wearing light blue. Light and looked good on all three of them. Their dresses were knee length, and tight at the top but flowed out at the bottom, so Jackie's bump poked out noticeably.

Laurie wore a long sleeve, knee length white dress. It was lacy, and the back dipped a bit. She wore kitten heels, and her hair was curled into a beautiful style unlike what she usually had.

Eric padded down the stairs, followed by Red.

He held his breath.

He couldn't help the tears that fell from his eyes when he laid eyes on his daughter.

"You ready, Daddy?"

"No." He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "But then again, you're my little girl." He smiled.

Kelso and Jackie, followed by Eric and Donna, followed by Betsy walked down the aisle. Then, the music began to play. Red and Laurie walked down the aisle. When they got to the front, he lifted her veil, kissed her on the cheek, and turned to Fez.

"Hurt my little girl, and I'll hang your balls on my flagpole." He whispered.

"Daddy!" She scolded.

He smiled, giving her his hand.

The ceremony commenced, and Eric presented the rings.

"Do you take Laurelli Rose Foreman to be your lawfully wedded wife? Through sickness and in health, til death do you part, as long as you both shall live?" Bob asked.

Fez swallowed his tears. "I do."

"Do you take-" Bob squinted at the name. "How do you... Do you take Fez, to be your lawfully wedded husband? Through sickness and in health, til death do you part, for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do." She smiled.

"You may now-" Fez dipped her immediately, and they sealed their marriage. "Kiss the bride." Bob finished.

"I now pronounce you, Mr and Mrs Foreman!"

"They kept my name." Red whispered.

Kitty smiled at her beaming husband. "Yeah, they did."

After the wedding, and the first dance, and the reception, they all sat in a circle in the garage, holding cups.

"One more toast!" Eric smiled. "To my sister, and my new brother-in-law." They grinned.

The room went out of focus, and she got a shooting pain in her abdomen. "Oh." She choked, wrapping her arms around her swollen belly.

Laurie looked over. "Are you okay?"

"I-I don't- ow!" She cried, folding over.

"Mom!" Eric called, rushing into the house.

"I feel-I feel like I'm peeing. I can't stop."

"Your water broke, Jackie, you're going into labor." Brooke spoke, smiling.

"Just relax." Donna soothed.

"Oh, I wouldn't say that." Brooke shook her head.

"I'm too early."

"She'll be fine!" Brooke reassured.

"He." Jackie grunted. Fez and Kelso were hurriedly cleaning the mess in the floor, and Donna disappeared to go find the hospital bag.

"Get in the car!" Eric came back outside, keys and bag in hand, dragging Donna by the hand.

By the time they got upstairs, Jackie had talked to the doctor.

"Just give me some fucking drugs! Oh my God!"

"You're already dilated, sweetie, it's far too late." The nurse apologized.

Jackie wailed in agony. Kitty stood beside her holding her leg. "Oh, I can't wait for my little grand baby. Jackie, you're doing so well dear!"

"You need to push, honey!" She was crying out in pain. "I can see the head!"

Laurie wiped sweat off her brow, Brooke held her hand and talked her through, and Donna held her other leg. "I am never having a baby." She gagged.

"Donna!" Brooke scolded.

"Ah, I can't. I can't do this, it hurts."

"Yes you can! You're Jackie Badass Burkhart. You can do this." Laurie encouraged.

"Ah!" She screamed at the top of her lungs. Brooke whimpered as Jackie squeezed her hand. Suddenly, you heard cries. Jackie opened her eyes as they cut the umbilical chord.

"Congratulations, Miss Burkhart." The doctor smiled, wrapping the baby in a pink blanket. "It's a beautiful baby girl!"

Jackie smiled, when they rested her baby on her chest. "Hey, baby." She whispered, tears rolling down her cheeks. "It's your Mama. Happy birthday."

"Best anniversary gift ever." Laurie grinned. "She's beautiful."

"Do we have a name yet?"

Jackie looked up at the nurse. "Tyler."

"But it's a girl..."

"Yeah. Tyler Rose Raina Burkhart-Hyde."

"What a mouthful." The nurse smiled tightly. "I'll grab the paperwork."

"You gave the baby his name?" Kitty asked as the nurses took Tyler to give her a bath.

Jackie shrugged. "Maybe she'll make a new rep for the name. Burkhart isn't really one to live by."

"Well okay then."

"What do you want the baby to call you?" Jackie asked her.

"Huh?"

"You're too young to be Grandma, and your mother is Nana, which, she drives me nuts."

"You and me both. I like Mimi, and it's probably easy to say."

"Well, hello there, Mimi."

"Hey there, Mama." Kitty smiled, bending down to hug the girl.
