Now, here are some headcanons for Hex, the friendly basketball-playing robot.
1. Hex is best friends with Whitty. Ever since the Rich Guy died, Whitty has been living with Hex in the Rich Guy's old mansion to keep the basketball-playing robot company. Both Whitty and Hex have come to rely on each other in recent years.
2. Hex is also friends with Carol and hangs out with her quite often. Ever since he taught Carol how to dunk, they enjoy playing basketball together.
3. Hex coaches a basketball team of local elementary school kids. In fact, Hex loves kids, because he thinks they're a lot of fun to be around. However, he can't have kids of his own because he's a robot, but he's interested in adopting someday.
4. Even though the Rich Guy left Hex with a lot of money after he died, Hex doesn't know what to do with it all since he knows that money can't buy happiness.
5. Ever since he was hacked and infected with a virus, Hex implemented extra anti-virus protocols into himself. He wants to make sure he doesn't hurt anyone ever again.
6. Hex doesn't need to sleep. His battery is able to recharge itself, so he never needs to find an outlet. Because he doesn't have to sleep, he's binged a lot more movies, TV shows, and video games than humans ever will.
7. Hex is actually a talented musician and can play the bass guitar. Sometimes, when he's bored or doesn't feel like playing basketball, he has jam sessions with Sunday and Whitty.
8. Hex is incapable of lying, even when it's necessary. He's just programmed that way. Because of this, his friends ask him a bunch of personal questions, and he would have to answer them truthfully. But luckily, Whitty is always there to defend him, so he usually puts a stop to it almost immediately.
9. He has both curiosity and unlimited access to the internet, which really don't go well together.
10. Hex's favorite colors are orange and cyan.
11. He sometimes likes to play Uno on weekend nights with Whitty and Carol.
12. He starts his day every morning by automatically saying "Hello, world!" every time.
13. Hex freezes whenever he tries to solve an impossible equation or paradox, and it takes a while for him to unfreeze.
14. Hex always uses proper terms; It's just his default way of speaking. But often times he has to 'dumb down' his vocabulary so his friends could actually understand him.
15. Hex tries to find spare parts for him and any robots who need some. He may not know how he works but he still is quite curious.
16. Whenever he's hanging out with Whitty, he sometimes thinks of how funny it would be to detach Whitty's bomb head from his body and do a slam dunk with it. However, he doesn't actually do this because he's too nice, and he knows using someone's head as a basketball is quite rude.
17. Hex is friends with robots who have televisions for heads just like him, like Cyrix and Static.
18. Hex really likes to dance, and used to be the leader of a freestyle dance group called The Dancebots.
