At Atlantica, Sebastian has been keeping things under control so far. Though he was getting concern about Ariel and Melody, as he had just left after checking on Triton.
Then Flounder appeared.
"How is he?" Flounder asked.
"Still resting." Sebastian said and sighed. "I'm starting to wonder if those 2 should've been back by now."
"Yeah, I've been thinking that lately." Flounder said. "Do you really think they have a chance of finding Gojira?"
"Even by some chance he's still alive, he could be anywhere." Sebastian said.
"Oh, boy." Flounder said. "I should've went after them. I've had Ariel's back since we met."
"Yeah." Sebastian said. "That girl is always getting herself in trouble."
"Hmm. Maybe it's still not too late." Flounder said.
"Huh?" Sebastian frowned.
"Maybe we still go look for them." Flounder said.
"How? They could be anywhere by now." Sebastian said.
"We should at least try." Flounder said. "We've never turn away from Ariel before."
Sebastian thought for a moment and realize he was right.
"You're right, mon." Sebastian said. "We should look for them."
They then swam off.
At night, in the far north, the ice ship continues sailing as Gojira stood near the bow.
He then turns to the deck as Tip and Dash were asleep, and Ariel and Melody were watching the stars.
"Seems moments like these are hard to come by in times like this." Melody said.
"Yeah." Ariel said.
A few hours later, they were all asleep.
Then Melody stirred and woke up, she then went near the side of the ship stared out into the open sea and sighed.
"Something troubling you, dear?" Gojira's voice asked.
"Huh?" Melody frowned turning to him. "Oh. I-It's nothing."
"No need to deny it." Gojira said. "I've seen it many times to recognize it."
Melody sighed giving out. "Okay, there is. It's Morgana."
"That mad sea witch, huh?" Gojira said. "I too heard many tales of her. Some of my time I tried to hunt her down."
"I mean, I know I defeated her once." Melody said. "But... recently..."
"She had you in her grasp and you felt it was it in that moment?" Gojira said.
Melody nodded.
"Fear is not an easy thing, but facing it is sometimes the only way to overcome a fear over something." Gojira said.
"I know that I can be brave, but I wish I can be brave as you." Melody said.
"I'm only brave when I have to be, when there's no other choice." Gojira said.
"But, you look like you're not scared of anything." Melody said.
"There are things even I am." Gojira said.
"Really?" Melody said.
"Yes." Gojira said. "And that 1 thing I was afraid I wouldn't be a great king in my early days."
"I guess everyone get scared sometimes." Melody said.
"More than you could ever know." Gojira said.
"I just hope there's a chance through this." Melody said.
Gojira thought for a moment.
"Melody, let me tell you something my father told me." Gojira said. "Look at the stars. The great kings of the past look down on us from those stars."
"Really?" Melody stared.
"Yes." Gojira answered. "So whenever you feel alone, just remember... that those kings will always be up there to guide you. And so will your grandmother, Athena."
Miles away, Zilla and Raiju had just returned from a scouting trip with no luck.
"Man, that lousy mermaid." Zilla complained. "We'll never get a break from her."
Raiju then struggled not to laugh.
"It's not funny, Raiju." Zilla said.
Raiju tried clapping his hand over his mouth from laughing, but then he laughs hysterically.
"Hey, shut up!" Zilla snapped.
Raiju continued laughing as Zilla growled and then lunges and the 2 fought as Otachi appeared and turns to them.
"Will you knock it off?" Otachi said.
Raiju gnaws on Zilla's tail as he rolled revealing he was gnawing his own tail.
"Well, he started it." Zilla said.
"Enough of this!" Otachi said. "Slattern wants us to get that dam ready by the time he gets back."
"Where is he, anyway?" Raiju asked.
"Probably on a killing spree." Otachi guessed. "Come on."
They then headed off.
The next morning, the ice ship continues sailing as everyone was asleep.
Then strangely a shadow loomed for a moment over Tip as he stirred and woke up.
And then he saw a nearby ledge and some rocks.
"Hey, guys." Tip said.
"Hmm?" Melody stirred as she woke up as well as everyone else.
"Brace for impact." Tip pointed ahead.
"Huh?" Ariel frowned as they looked back.
They then saw the ledge in front of them as they were on a collision course. And the ship rammed against throwing them off balance as Gojira toppled over and fell as Tip, Dash, Ariel and Melody were tossed into a dog pile.
"Ohh." Dash groaned.
Tip then poked his head from Ariel's hair. "Well, that wasn't so bad."
They soon got off the ship and onto the shore of an island.
"Where are we?" Melody wondered.
"I'm not sure." Ariel said.
"I'm afraid there's something I have to do." Gojira said.
"What do you mean?" Ariel said.
"I have to go somewhere." Gojira said. "But I'll be soon."
He then heads off and walks into the water, and soon swims off as his dorsal plates sailed over the water and soon vanished beneath the surface.
"So... what should we do till he gets back?" Melody asked.
"Well, I guess we can only wait." Ariel said. "And try to work out where we are."
Half an hour later, Ariel and Melody were wandering through a lush forest as they try to work out where they are, while Tip and Dash waited at the beach.
"I don't understand, we should've seen something by now." Melody said.
"I know, but we should keep looking." Ariel said.
Eventually they made it to a clearing as they still saw no signs of life.
"Maybe there's nothing around." Melody said.
"Maybe." Ariel said.
They begin to head back when then the ground suddenly vibrated as they froze.
"You feel that?" Ariel asked.
"What was that?" Melody wondered.
The ground shook again with a loud thud as it almost felt like a footstep.
They looked around as then another thud was felt, as then some trees shook as something big was moving through them.
They were getting nervous as another thud was heard, but then saw something that had their concern vanished.
Then a large foot lowers down and lands on the ground over a puddle with a heavy thud as the ground shook. And a bellow was heard as the foot lifts up.
Ariel and Melody were in awe and wonder of the giant as a Brachiosaurus emerges from the treeline and glanced down at them and then bellows out. She then bends her head her as Melody went up to her a bit as her mother followed, and the Brachiosaur lifts her head up with a mouthful of leaves and eats them.
"Incredible." Melody said.
"I know." Ariel said.
"She's beautiful." Melody said.
The Brachiosaurus soon swallows the leaves and then walks off and bellows out, and the ground shook with each foot fall from her enormous feet.
It was then that Ariel realized where they were.
Prehistoria.
Shortly later, they have soon wandered into a remote region of Prehistoria.
"So, we're actually in Prehistoria?" Melody said.
"Yes." Ariel answered.
Ariel of course had told Melody about Prehistoria once as a story when she was 5. But mainly told her that it was an old legend where giants walked the land, and was ruled by the greatest monster ever known to left it's footprint in history.
"I can't believe this is actually real." Melody said.
They soon reached the top of a hill leading down to a small valley, and they thought some movement was seen below.
"Wait, what's that?" Melody wondered seeing something.
"What?" Ariel asked.
"Right there." Melody said.
Suddenly the rock they were on gave loose, and then they lost balance and they stumbled and fell down the hill and soon reached the bottom and rolled to a stop.
"Ow." Melody said with her hand on her head.
They soon got up and then saw a creature nearby, and they then saw it had wings as the creature flapped them.
Caution soon struck them as they slowly moved a little closer to it.
They have stumbled on the lair of the most astonishing creature that ever lived.
The creature suddenly looks back and saw them, as it was a dragon as tall as a man, long legs, a long neck, and a pair of short horns on it's head and black and white coloration.
"A dragon?" Ariel frowned almost astonished.
The dragon growled as it held it's wings out, but then suddenly a blood-curling screech was heard as they looked and saw the black predatory dinosaur.
"What is that?!" Melody exclaimed.
"I don't know!" Ariel said holding Melody behind her.
The dinosaur roared as it then turns to the dragon.
The dragon roared as well as at the dinosaur.
And now this dragon is in real danger.
The dinosaur made a mock-lunge at the 3 as he clearly has a size advantage over them.
Dwarfed by the terrifying predator, the dragon attempts to bluff.
The dragon then held it's wings out briefly high revealing 2 large red eye spots, trying to intimidate to the predator. Extending it's wings to give the appearance it is much larger than it really is.
But the ravenous predator is an experienced hunter. He isn't fooled.
The predator roars as the dragon realized it's trick wasn't working.
So the dragon tries a different strategy.
Suddenly the dragons lets out a loud shriek as the predator shook his head and Ariel and Melody covered their ears from the sound.
A piercing shriek that briefly stuns the dinosaur.
The dragon continues shrieking loudly at the top of it's lungs as it echoes across the landscape.
The cry carries for miles.
The shriek soon stops as the predator manages to recover the painful sound, but is still not deter.
Still the dinosaur refuses to yield.
The dinosaur roars and then charges.
And there's nowhere to hide.
The dragon roared as the dinosaur lunges as they snapped at each other as it fought back.
Suddenly a creature was seen in the air as they turn to it.
The creature then lunges into a snatching position with talons out and roared as it strikes the dinosaur's head. The predator backed away as he now has gashes on his head and roars at his new attacker.
An adult female with a larger horn set and yellow markings, a fully grown dragon and is the smaller dragon's mother.
This is her territory and she is protecting her son.
Ariel and Melody watched as they can only stay out of the way as the dinosaur roared. And then he charges and body slams the mother dragon back. The dragon lunges into the air and swung her left foot at the dinosaur, and he roared as he then lunges and bites down hard on the mother's left wing as she drops to the ground and roars in pain.
The dinosaur pulls back and roars as the mother dragon suddenly fires a blast stream at the dinosaur and he leaped back and then rushed off.
Being lucky to escape a heavy scorched wound.
The dinosaur runs off to the hilltop and looks back at them and roars out, and then ran off completely.
Fire is the dragon's weapon of last resort.
But she delivered the final blow too late.
Ariel and Melody too saw that the mother is seriously injured.
With a broken wing, she can no longer hunt. And she can no longer feed herself, or her offspring.
Ariel and Melody saw the young dragon rushing to his mother and nuzzled her as she nuzzled back. Wanting to help, they slowly approach them.
But the mother dragon turns to them and growled.
"Not a step closer." She threatened.
"No, no, no, it's okay." Ariel said. "We can help."
The mother dragon roared and then suddenly lunges forward with talons and snatches Ariel and pins her to the ground under her right foot.
"Mom!" Melody cried.
The mother dragon then snapped aggressively at her as she hits the ground and crawled back.
"Why would I trust you?" The mother dragon inquired turning back to Ariel. "Your kind has nothing but hunted us, and driven us from our home."
"I'm nothing like that." Ariel said.
"Lies!" The mother dragon tightens her grip over Ariel. "Every human is a killer. I watched my own mother being slaughtered in front of me when I was young. 1 man even took her head as a trophy."
"I swear on my daughter's life, I'm not like that." Ariel said strained struggling against her death grip threatening to crush her. "I'm not even exactly a human."
"What do you mean, "not even"?" The mother dragon questioned.
"I'm actually a mermaid." Ariel said. "I promise you, I would never hurt a soul."
The mother dragon growled at her and then sniffed her, and she can even smell that she wasn't exactly truly human. She then turns to Melody for a moment and then back to Ariel now looking truly terrified.
"You're lucky I wouldn't kill a mother in front of her own daughter." The mother dragon said. "Or in front of my son."
She then released Ariel and got off her as Ariel catches her breath as Melody rushed up to her and hugs her of fear of almost losing her.
"Shh, shh. I'm okay." Ariel said hugging Melody.
"Now prove it." The mother dragon said.
"Sorry?" Ariel frowned.
"Prove that you can help me." The mother dragon said.
Ariel then got up and reluctantly approached her injured wing, and saw the wound left from the dinosaur. And it will become badly infected if not treated.
It might even prove fatal.
"It looks bad." Ariel said examining.
"It is." The mother dragon said and hissed in pain.
"It looks like you'll need a splint." Ariel said. "We'll need some vines, branches to make it."
"There's a grove of trees not far from here." The mother dragon said.
"Okay, let's hurry." Ariel said.
"She goes, you stay." The mother dragon said.
"But..." Melody said.
"It's okay, sweetheart." Ariel reassured.
Melody was reluctant, but soon heads off.
Many miles away, a group of ships sailed across the ocean as they hauling large nets of fish.
But recently, nets have been turning up with fewer fish with each catch.
It was almost as if fish populations have suddenly declined.
Ahead of some of the large ships, some smaller boats were having less luck with their nets.
And the fishermen too busy to notice as a large shape gliding through the water underneath them. Suddenly, one of the nearby boats was suddenly pulled under and the other boats soon noticed that.
And below them, Slattern swims underneath the boats and roared and he surfaced, and charges towards one of the boats. The 3 men in the boat were forced to jump out as Slattern rams the boat to pieces, the larger ships then fired cannons trying to take him out as cannonballs flew through the air. And they hit the water as Slattern dodges them.
And then he lifts his 3 tails up in the air holding them up, and then wraps them around each other and then swung them back down as he took out 2 boats. Slattern then swims off as netting was caught on his tail and then drags a boat.
On one of the large ships, crew members rushed around on the deck as then the smaller boat being dragged emerges from the water. And a man saw the boat heading towards them indicting that Slattern was coming at them.
"Portside, incoming!" He yelled.
Underwater, Slattern roars out.
On the deck, some crew members quickly took cover as some grabbed rifles and aimed at the smaller boat getting ready.
They watched as the boat got closer, and then the boat suddenly dives down and vanished from view.
Unsure where he was, the crew members watched and waited.
Suddenly 2 tails reached and wrapped around 2 sailors as they screamed and suddenly pulled them into the water. The remaining crew members then fired blindly at the water trying to shoot the monster.
Then suddenly, Slattern roared as he climbs up the other side of the ship and pulls himself onto the deck. The crew members fired rifles at him, but Slattern fights back as he knocks them aside. Slattern then roars out loudly, but then suddenly he froze and halts his attack.
Slattern then looks out at the distant sea, almost as if he senses something was coming and growling.
He then suddenly roars out.
Underwater, it was Gojira as he charges towards the ship roaring.
On the deck, Slattern watched as a shape rushed towards the ship. And then it suddenly vanished as it dove down.
Slattern roars out at the water, and then suddenly Gojira lunges out of the water roaring with such speed that he hits the side of the ship that it was enough to knock it as it rolled as crew members stumbled. Slattern to hold on as then he hits the water and the ship capsizes as anchor chains fell and Slattern soon got caught and entangled in them.
Nearby ships fired at Gojira unaware that he wasn't the threat, he then roars out and then dives under.
At the capsized ship, Slattern struggled against the chains holding him as nearby, Gojira swims towards the ship coming after him.
Slattern roars out using all his strength as then he broke the chains off and then rights himself up as Gojira nears him and lunges. Slattern held him back as then Gojira bites down on his wrist, they fought as then Slattern caught both Gojira's wrists holding tightly as Gojira snapped trying to get him.
Slattern then rams him against the head hard and then kicks him back as he swam up to the ship. The ship rolled as he climbs up, and Slattern soon grabs the side railing as then the ship was roll upright and Slattern climbs to the deck.
The remaining crew members still on the ship soon recovered as water poured out.
Slattern stood up on his back legs as water flows off him and Gojira's dorsal plates were seen sailing off and he growled. He then grabs hold of the bit of anchor chain around his neck, and then pulls hard. And then the chain snaps off as Slatterns roars out loudly.
In the captain's cabin, the door was finally freed and opens as some crew member fell and got up.
Slattern growled narrowing his eyes as he watches Gojira's dorsal plates sail off as he begins to circle around. But then saw another large ship and another near him, he then growled and rushed across the deck and leaps off the ship, and then soon lands on the deck of the other ship. And then jumps off heading for the large ship.
Everyone on the ship watched as Slattern then nears the ship, and the crew members on it flee as Slattern lands hard on the deck and growls.
And his landing was enough to shake and jostle the whole ship.
Gojira's dorsal plates sail over the surface he heads toward the ship, and Slattern roars out loudly.
Underwater, Gojira roared as well.
Slattern turns to a cannon near him, and he then grabs it along with a man hiding by it. And then he threw both of them out over the deck roaring.
The man yelled he held onto the cannon, and he soon lets go as he soon hits the water. And the cannon fell and hits Gojira's back.
Gojira swam through the water, and then dives down and nears the ship and swims up and breaks the surface.
Gojira roars as he lunges onto the deck braking off the ship's bowsprit and lands on the deck and pulls himself up and roars at Slattern. Slattern roared as he lunges forward and then punches Gojira in the face as the blow made a loud booming sound as Slattern lands on all 4s on the deck and Gojira turns as his tail broke part of the side railing off.
Gojira turns back to Slattern and then roars as he swung his right arm and swats his hand at Slattern's face as he was knocked back and falls backs into the captain's cabin as the ship jostled as Gojira stumbled a bit as his dorsal plates flashed blue. He prepares to fire when then suddenly 2 cannonballs struck him on the back as he roars in pain, he then lifts his tail up and bats another cannonball as it flew towards a ship as crew members rushed out of the way.
Slattern soon recovered, and then Gojira lunges as Slattern punches him back. And he quickly up and then Slattern shoves Gojira over the side as he fell into the water.
Below the surface, Gojira sank down leaving behind a plume of bubbles as then a pulsating hum occurred as he swung his tail and his dorsal plates started to lit.
On the deck, the glow grew brighter as Slattern looked down and saw the glow. Seeing this, Slattern knew what it was and quickly turns to rushed to the other side of the ship.
Underwater, Gojira then fires a powerful blue blast straight up at the ship as a shoal of fish near him quickly swam off.
Slattern jumps off the ship as the blast broke through the ship as it was broke in 2 as the blast stream continued straight up high in the air.
Slattern hits the water as he dive under.
The other ships watched in shock as the blast continues and soon ceased.
In the water, Slattern swam and came to a stop and looks around. And then emerging from the depths, Gojira swam towards him roaring and lunges as he and Slattern fought as parts of the ship sank by them. Slattern held Gojira back as then the main part of the ship hits Slattern as the mast was broken off as the ship sinks further down.
The 2 monsters continue fighting as Slattern pushed Gojira aside, and he attempts to attack but Slattern kicks him aside. Slattern took the chance and swims off heading to the surface, but he didn't get far as Gojira quickly caught up to him. The 2 wrestled as then Gojira manages to wrap his tail around Slattern and he started to swim down dragging him.
Slattern growled as he struggled against his rival's grip, Gojira growls as he dives deeper into an ocean trench and roared. Slattern then growled he lashed out his 3 tails and wrapped them tightly over Gojira's neck and even blinded him as Slattern then shifts and Gojira hits the side of the trench.
At the surface, everyone from the other ships watched unsure what was happening and have managed to save anyone who had survived the blast as the ship went down.
And over at the ship's bow when blasted, a shape appeared under the water as then a hand rose out as it was Slattern's and grabs hold on the bow hard as Slattern pulls himself on the bow looking exhausted and worn out from the fight.
Some distance away, Gojira's dorsal plates rose up after recovering.
Among a field a broken debris from the damaged boats, Gojira then lifts his head out from the water. And turns towards the bow holding Slattern and narrowed his eyes.
Slattern lays motionless glaring at Gojira and softly growls careful not to give himself away.
Gojira glared at him, and soon he turns away and then dives down.

Some of the Christmas gifts I got is an ornament of Blue from Jurassic World. And a Lego City Wildlife set, the Rescue Operation set, it includes 1 of the 2 new 2.0 Lego elephants of 2021, as well with an elephant calf. I actually knew it would be based from the Lego Mammoth from the 2.0 Arctic wave from 2018, just with a few differences besides the shaggy woolly parts.
