Bardock himself immediately sensed them when they were near his ship. Just as he had expected. So he mentally disabled his alarm and defence systems. From the way their energy felt, it looked like they were being cautious as if trying to avoid being seen or heard. not that it helped at all. Even for normal Ki users, Bardock had sharpened his energy sensing to a point where he could detect the life force of an ant down on Earth if he wished. There was nowhere anyone that didn't know how to manipulate Ki could hide from him. Before he even reached the main control room, he sensed them scurrying about to different points of the room so he knew exactly where they were hiding. It was just the timing that annoyed him.

"Did they have to come while I was taking a shower?"

Shrugging himself he called out to his ship's mainframe.

"Juno! Get a droid to prepare meal option 23 for me. I'm starving."

"Affirmative." a robotic woman's voice sounded from somewhere in the room.

Bardock stopped walking when he reached the stairs. He was hoping to do this while those lot were not around. But on second thought, having them witness this may be more favourable for him later.

"Chronoa!" he called out. "Speak to me."

The League watched as the table with the green glass started growing before projecting a green sphere. Inside the sphere, a girl appeared. She had long pinkish-red hair that was partly held by a circlet on her forehead. Her skin was purplish and her black eyes were bright with life. She spoke in a sweet soft voice.

"Well, if it isn't Lord Bardock the soon-to-be Destroyer. Have you completed your mission?"

"...Why are you transformed?"

"I was doing a bit of training." she giggled slightly. "You know, it's rude to answer a question with another question." Bardock frowned slightly in mock-annoyance.

"I have completed the task. The equation has been secured."

"And the criminals?"

"They and their filthy creations have been locked away in the HTC. I assume you have already decided the judgement you are to pass on them?"

Chronoa shook her head. "No Bardock."

"Why not?"

"When your master gave me the order, he told me that he wanted you to pass the judgement. Said it would be 'work-experience' or something like that. So I should actually be asking you what their punishments should be."

Bardock grinned slightly. "Very well. The Olympians are to have their powers stripped from them as well as the Amazons. Then banished to the null realm for one year of His Majesty's calendar. What happens after that will be decided when they have served that time."

Diana nearly jumped at the mention of her sisters. They were alive!

"Are you sure all of the Amazons?" Chronoa asked in a concerned tone.

Bardock rubbed his chin.

"I couldn't really care less what happens to the rapists." The League looked to Wonder Woman in a questioning way. Diana suddenly looked down in shame.

"But I have given thought to the younger ones. The infants and toddlers have no place on this Earth. If I were to take them to orphanages here, they would only be taken advantage of. That's how treacherous and selfish the humans of this universe are. I'm going to send them to orphanages on Earth in Universe 7, my home universe, preferably the ones funded by Bulma. They'll be taken good care of there. However..."

"However?"

"Those filthy feminazi's have already sown a deep hatred of men into the hearts of the older girls. They will never fit into society. But they are young and they have great strength. Plus they have a good mind for hard work. So I am going to send them to the mines and forges of Planet Mora in Universe 11. It's governed by a female -only race. The queen there is a good friend of mine. She'll take care of them I am sure. The girls will be able to play with all the precious gems and metals to their hearts' desires. And they will contribute to the planet's trade in weapons and jewellery. There they can put their smithing talents to use."

"Well. That's settled I guess. By the way, why are you taller?"

Bardock grunted. "My ship is the only place I can walk around in my real height. Do you have any idea how tiresome it is to constantly stoop under doorways when you enter a room?"

"I see."

Meanwhile the League were baffled at this turn of events. Who was this person Bardock was speaking to? From the dialogue, it appeared that pointy-eared girl was his superior. And what was this talk about Universe seven and another Earth? The Justice League knew that other universes existed. But never had any of them been numbered. And did Bardock say he was from that universe? That he was not from theirs?

"One last thing Bardock. The Grand Minister wishes to speak with you."

Bardock suddenly tensed up, which did not go unnoticed by the eavesdroppers.

"W-well, put him on then!" Chronoa disappeared from the green sphere. The league watched as Bardock discarded his towel, and a black spandex top materialised on his upper body. A second later another face appeared in the green sphere. This was of a blue skinned man with purple eyes, combed back white hair and a blue halo behind his head. Diana assumed that this was another angel. But his face was little sterner than the others she had seen.

Bardock quickly stepped back from the staircase and knelt on the ground with his head held low.

"My Lord."

"Hmm...Bardock..."

"I am humbled Sire."

The Grand Minister chuckled. "There is no need to be so formal with me, my son."

"I cannot possibly be deemed worthy enough of being called your son." The man frowned at that.

"Since when was it a question of worth Bardock? Rise and look me in the eyes!"

Bardock did as he was told. The League noticed he was slightly trembling and there was a faint look of fear on his face. This put them on alert, especially Batman. The caped crusader had a gut feeling that Bardock was holding back a lot during their encounter with him. He was by far the most powerful opponent the League had ever encountered. And yet this blue man or, angel as Batman assumed, was making Bardock shake in the knees. And Bardock himself was not speaking with this man the same way he had spoken with...what was her name again? Chronoa? The girl was obviously Bardock's superior but the two had spoken like old friends. This 'Grand Minister' must be on some level or status even higher that of the girl. Could the same be said for his power? It would explain why Bardock was afraid.

The Grand Minister narrowed his eyes.

"Was it not I who found you? A pitiful, orphaned Saiyan child broken by grief from the loss of his mother? A child who was being torn apart from the inside by his unstable power that was fuelled by his rage."

"Yes you did Sir." At that moment, lights went off in Batman's head. He had got a name for Bardock's race. So he was a Saiyan...

"Did I not take you in as one of my own and taught how to harness that incredible power. And shared with you secrets of mastery I did not even impart to my own flesh and blood?

"Yes Sir."

"Did I not commit you to the household of Grand Zeno, and therefore elevate you to a status even above Destroyers? Did I not help you reach levels of power thought impossible for a mortal-born being to ever reach?"

"Yes Sir."

"Did I not grant you the special privilege of travelling where ever you wished whether it was a different timeline or a different multiverse because I trusted you would not cause any mishaps?"

"Yes Sir."

"And when the heart of the most beautiful of my daughters grew warm for you, did I not give you her hand? Something that had never been done in the history of Lord Zeno's domain?

Bardock smiled a little at that.

"Yes...you did Master."

The Father Angel let go of his frown and smiled warmly this time.

"After all of that, can I not be allowed to call you my son? You are already a part of my family, and you have given me a grandchild as well. The first I have ever had."

"I did not intend to dishonour you Grand Minister. I still have along ways to go before I am anywhere near a level challenging enough for you in terms of fighting power."

"Perhaps as you are now. But in your highest from, you have already claimed the spot below me."

"In raw power. But in terms of technique and experience, I'm still having a little difficulty getting past Whis."

"You are still flourishing...faster than I had ever dreamed. One day you will make it to the top. Perhaps even take over for me when you do so..." The old man said hopefully while giving Bardock a sideways glance. Bardock chuckled nervously.

"Ah...maybe someday."

"Anyhow, enough with the lecture. Did you do what I set you?"

"Yes. Everything has been followed through with."

"And you have done your homework?"

"Indeed." Bardock said grimly. "And here is what I have found."
