The triplets decided to walk home from school. Sometimes Eva or Sparda would take them home, sometimes they would walk home. The three didn't mind during walking but they are armed as well thanks to Tatsumi invented pocket dimension bag.

"Damn that is worse"said Vergil as he and Dante were walking towards the lake of the forest.

"About what Vergil?"Tatsumi asked

"About the thing of what we did at the bathroom.. Nobody suspects us all of the sudden"said Vergil who make them smile all of the sudden.

"You know I am being edgy here. How come we don't have a dog yet? Is Mom and Dad hate animals inside the house?"Dante asked

"Not to mention of what happened at the chicken incident.? Trust me Mom and Dad would love to have a dog in the house. But she might have wondered if the dog that Dad would bought was a hellhound."Tatsumi mentioned

"Aw snap. That is worse. Our father Is a demon but we are half"said Dante

"Just avoid fighting at New Moon okay. It's not funny to use at New Moon"said Vergil

"Why is that?"Dante asked

"Because we can't use our powers at New Moon because we lost it."Tatsumi reminded them.

"Aw snap. I bet Mom and Dad would debate if we have a dog or not. Hey Tatsumi we still have snacks on your pocket dimension, right?"Dante asked

"I did. I snuck out at the cafeteria to grab some... nobody have seen it."said Tatsumi

"How about we need to snack here before going home"said Vergil

Sparda household.

"Look as much as I love that idea but why do we have to get a dog?"Eva asked as Sparda sip his tea.

"Eva dear. We talked about this before. All they wanted was a dog."said Sparda

"Why can't a fish or a hamster?"Eva asked

"Dear, Hamster can last for 2 years and they can't pet a fish because Dante would probably use a crossbow to hit Vergil or Tatsumi but it will hit the tank. Besides you love dogs before I met you."said Sparda

Eva sighed "True. I love dogs because they are cute and loyal...but you know the responsibility of having a dog. Your not thinking of giving them a hellhound aren't you?"Eva asked

"Dante is a hellion...more like a hype hellhound...Vergil is calm and I don't know which Tatsumi would side as well. Especially since he choose both sides."said Sparda

Eva began to snuggle into.his warm embrace. "Maybe...but still having a dog will have responsible to take."

"I think so too... because I fear that when they came back from school. They would bring something here "said Sparda

"Want to bet?"Eva teased him.

"Okay..."

Meanwhile.

Both boys are eating near the lake with a blanket and some snacks that Tatsumi and Dante would snuggle from the cafeteria while Vergil would distract and took some drinks.

"I can't believe it. You surely are an inventor Tatsumi. How come Dad and Mom doesn't know that you build a extension bag or known as untraceable bag?"Vergil asked

"Well it wasn't easy as well but Mom and Dad never saw me fixing,so I made it following Dad's books"said Tatsumi

"You mean you enchant it from one of Dad's books?"Vergil added

"Yes. I tried as well...it took me days to invent this...luckily I found a small bag so I enchant it."said Tatsumi.

"I like this..how many things will be put in there?"Dante asked as many biscuits arrived.

"More than you can imagine."said Vergil as Tatsumi gave him an Dante two bags. "Whoa...how many did you make?"

"I build 10 of those but I kept the others hidden. Well maybe in case we are separate"said Tatsumi.

"There is no way we are going to be separated. I am the eldest here "Vergil reassure him.

"Well in case of what happened. Besides in case of that. This will become usefull. Dante what the hell are you doing?!"Tatsumi yelled as Dante grab some binoculars.

Dante grab the binoculars and searched the whole area. He rubbed his eyes and looked at them.

"Why so you have them? "Dante rubbed his eyes as he felt something was wrong.

"I think it is a good idea to have that Tatsumi in case of incoming attacked."Vergil suggested as he looked at the binoculars but he remember something. "Where did you get this ? Don't tell me you steal them?"

"Found it on the junk shop."Tatsumi replied causing the two twins to looked at him.

"You what?! What the hell are you doing at the junk shop?"said Dante

"Well they would dump something that was still useful than wasting. Besides...I also upgraded some new ones to make." Tatsumi replied as he ate his snack bar.

"So that's why you went missing?"Vergil asked

"I wasn't missing...I was just skip. Besides what happens if something might happened to us? What if we got separated? What if I disappeared for no reason and I lost some memories of between us?"said Tatsumi

"He has a point ...through...but I have a suggestion...one of your questions...if you lost your memories between us...then I would whack a frypan to get you back."said Dante

Tatsumi frowned at his brother but Vergil facepalm.

"Normally I would do the same thing. But even if we did separated ...just so you know I would always take charge of you. Aside from Violence Dante."Vergil pointed a look on his brother.

"Point taken. Give me those binoculars"said Dante as Tatsumi tossed it to him.

"Just don't tell Mom and Dad this. They didn't know yet"said Tatsumi

"Promised."said Dante and Vergil.

While the triplets promised to keep Tatsumi secrets. Dante used the binoculars and looked on the passing lake. It was fast but he continue to look any surroundings. He heard a yipped...a whimper from something.

"Hey Guys can you hear anything?"Dante asked making Vergil and Tatsumi heard the whimpering sound of an injured animal.

"I heard it as well..."said Vergil

"But where is it?"Tatsumi asked

Dante continue to hear the sound but as ,he began to use the binoculars,he saw a basket that was floating.He used the binoculars and saw a puppy on the basket. He screamed hysterical as he dropped the binoculars and ran to the river.

"What the hell is gotten into him?!"Vergil muttered as he grab the binoculars seeing the puppy on the basket and Dante was running for it.

"Dante you idiot!?!,"said Tatsumi

Both of them ran towards Dante's direction.Before they could reach to Dante. Dante dropped his school bag and jumped to the river. He swam towards the puppy while the two looked at what Dante was doing.

"What are we going to do?"Tatsumi asked

"I don't know..."

Dante swam faster as well till he reach the basket. Seeing the current was fast,he grab a branch that was close. Vergil saw a vine that was tied on the tree.

"Dante you idiot!?! What now!"Tatsumi asked Vergil

"At least i grab the basket before it reached to the waterfall"Dante yelled alerting them.

"Can you hold it?"Vergil asked.

"Maybe not"Dante replied as he could hear the snap of the tree branch.

Both Vergil and Tatsumi tied the vines on their waist until they went to the water. They keep crossing till they reach Dante's hand. Tatsumi tried to hold the vine but what they didn't know is that the vine started to began to snap. Luckily Tatsumi put the puppy on the ground.

"Dante come here now... before the current will get stronger."said Tatsumi as he tried to grab Vergil's hand

"Dante...hurry up... because this vine is not stronger anymore."Vergil told him as Dante struggle to grab Vergil's hand.

Snap.

"Ahhh!!! Too late"Tatsumi yelled sending him and Vergil to the water.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"they yelled hysterical

The current was strong but Vergil and Tatsumi grab Dante as they grab another branch on the tree. They reach land and cough.

"Is everyone alright?"Vergil's asked as he checked with Tatsumi and Dante.

"I'm okay..."Tatsumi moaned

"Whoa...let's try again"Dante said cheerfully

Vergil and Tatsumi looked at him with a serious eyes until they punch him to the face with double fist. Dante laid on the ground while Vergil and Tatsumi looked at their clothes.

"Mom's gonna kill us"Tatsumi mentioned at his wet clothes.

For once Vergil agree until they remember the basket where the puppy was.

"Dante...we have to go back to grab that basket"

"Oh the puppy.."said Dante as he ran from his siblings.

"Idiot"said Vergil and Tatsumi.

Once they reach to the basket. They saw the puppy whining seeing three identical faces. It stepped back but Vergil raised his hand and smiled as it lick his palms.

"Aww to cute"said Dante

"Who on earth would throw a puppy on the river?"said Tatsumi as part of his hair was still wet from the river.

"Who knows the owner must have been cruel to this dog...it's okay...we won't hurt you?"said Vergil as the puppy came out and licked their faces.

"What dog breed is this? Looks like a german shepherd to me?"Dante announced.

"You already answer it dumbass"Tatsumi replied as he pet the puppy.

"What? One dog who was thrown to the lake by the owner.? That is even more cruel."said Vergil

"Aw look..he is injured"said Dante looking at the leg of the dog seeing blood.

"We can't abandoned him here."Dante protest.

"We can't abandoned it here Dante. We are going to bring it home"Vergil answered as he grab their bags.

"You think Dad and Mom would appreciate this? We are going to adopt a stray puppy?"Dante asked while he carried the puppy.

"This is not stray...it's German Shepherd. I guess Dad and Mom wouldn't mind unless we explained them of what happened...but not my undetected bag."said Tatsumi.

"Geez Tati. We promised to keep our secret about your secret hobby...unless you are hiding again"Dante taunted him

"Why you?!"Tatsumi tackled Dante to the ground as they wrestle.

"Hey... enough...we are going home in case we are sick from the coldness of the river."Vergil told them.

"Yes sir "they announced.

Sparda Manor.

Sparda and Eva were playing chess when the door knocked. Sparda and Eva realized that the kids have returned home from school but they were shocked all of the sudden because they arrived late.

"I'll get it"Sparda announce as he went to the door.

Once Sparda opened the door. He called Eva immediately. Eva immediately rushed to the door seeing her son's are wet and they are holding an injured puppy.

"What happened to you three?"Eva gasped seeing her son's wet clothes and their hair.

"Why do you have a dog on you hands Dante?"Sparda mentioned

"Dad..Mom...we went to the river and we saw a basket floating. I saw a puppy on it and I jumped on it"said Dante

"And we got tangle in it"said Vergil.

"And we got caught by a strong current"Tatsumi continue as he shivered.

"Both of you go to the bathroom to take a bath before you got sick.Your father and I will handle this puppy"said Eva telling the triplets.

Both of them went to the bathroom to take a bath.Grabbing their towels Dante looked at Tatsumi who was exhausted of the event.

"Say... Tatsumi what else are you going today? Upgrading Dad's car?"Dante asked making Tatsumi looked at him.

"No. Nothing to invent today."said Tatsumi as he grab his shirt.

Vergil looked at Dante as he tossed him his short.

"Get changed Dante."Vergil told him.

"What about training some sword.?"Dante asked

"Dante not now. Don't you have anything else today.? Aside from Vergil and I have hobbies to do.?"said Tatsumi

"Swordfight"

"No"

"Aw come on. I am bored."Dante whined like a dog with a puppy eyes.

"You do realize that we adopted a dog and Mom and Dad are tending to it?"Tatsumi reminded him as he and Vergil went to the door.

"Aw puppy"Dante cheered

"Sometimes Tatsumi i would whack him with a frypan"Vergil said as Tatsumi began to giggled at his brother.

"I do wonder what would happened if Mom and Dad would spoil the dog?"Tatsumi asked.

"I hope not .. otherwise Dante is going to make a bet on us" Vergil pleaded.

"Well there goes my savings for mother's and father's day"Tatsumi sighed.

"Don't mention it on Dante."said Vergil as he looked at Dante who was running to the stairs.

"Spoilsport"Tatsumi mentioned.

When the three reach to the sofa. They saw Eva and Sparda with the puppy sleeping on their side. The leg that was injured was covered in bandage.

"Aw snap...I was going to play with him"said Dante

"No.The puppy is injured...let him rest. Although I need to asked what happened why?"Sparda asked making the three guilty.

"There was a floating basket that passed us. I was using some binoculars..."Dante grunted as Tatsumi elbowed him.

"You mean you heard it from far away?"Sparda asked

"We did. We were confused at first but then Dante immediately screamed and ran to the river to grab the basket that the puppy on it"said Vergil.

"That owner must be out of his mind from throwing that poor dog to the river"said Eva as she touched the puppy head and smiled.

"Can we keep him? We promised to take care of it"Dante said eagerly.

"We promised"said Vergil

"Please..."Tatsumi pleaded.

"Alright...fine...We will keep him."said Eva

"Yes"said the three

Sparda chuckle until he remember something. "By the way what are we going to name him?"Sparda asked

Vergil,Dante and Tatsumi smirked at each other as they faced their parents. They been having that name for now.

"We are going to name him Ace"said the three.

There. Sorry for late update and how many times do I have to tell you it's not finished yet. Damn. This is the reason why Ace went to find Tatsumi when he was at the Empire.
