He set Zoro down at the dining table first and went to get a glass to pour some juice in. He has a lot of mango flavored juice. He pours a glass and sets it down next to Zoro, who looks like a child who had a bad day. He did have a bad day, actually make that a month. Everything just seems to be going downhill fast. Thinking more about it getting his heart ripped out by the cook, getting kicked out of the club was going down hill, then getting his heart played with was going down further than the hill, maybe the ocean and now this, it's rock bottom. Sanji gets himself a soda and sits down in front of Zoro. Watching as he ate slowly. The guy probably couldn't eat right with how beat his face is. Zoro ate slowly and Sanji matched his pace. He didn't want to eat too fast and finish before Zoro.
When Zoro finally finished Sanji helped Zoro to his room. He left him there as he went back to expertly clean the kitchen. When he was done he took out Zoro's phone, opening it easily since Zoro doesn't have password on it. Dialed for Zeff first. He waited for it to ring but there was no answer. He ended the call and called again. And again. And again until the old man finally answered.
"What?" He sounds mad.
"Something bad happen old man?" Sanji asks, looking around the house. Everything is so clean. Zoro didn't let this place get dusty at all.
"Besides you leaving eggplant?" Zeff says, voice even more gruff than usual. "We thought you might have been attacked."
"Yeah, I'm sorry for not returning but... I'm helping a friend out right now and won't be home."
"You've got school."
"I know. I'll be late tomorrow but I want to help them."
"... Were they attacked?"
"Yeah, and he's hurt bad but he doesn't want to go to the hospital so I'm watching him. I just thought I'd let you know. Don't wait up for me old man." Sanji says.
"Be careful." Zeff gruffs. With that the call ends. He then looks through Zoro's phone for the next call. He needed to tell someone, one of Zoro's family what happened. Smoker most likely would be the best considering he's a cop but if he's at work right now he wont answer. Bonney or Perona is the next best choice but who does he choose? He doesn't think that long, he'll call Bonney. He knows her far better than Perona. She scares him a little. With her eyes that seem to stare through his soul. It's nerving. He didn't wait long for her to answer.
"It's weird for you to call me Zoro, did something happen?"
"Sorry, I'm not Zoro."
"Sanji, why do you have his phone?" Bonney ask, understandably surprised.
"He let me use it, listen, something happened to Zoro."
"What! Is he ok?"
"He's fine now but he was attacked and raped."
"Raped! What happened?"
"I don't know much. Just that when I found him he was being raped. They beat him, and came in him. I took him home, where we are right now, cleaned him up and fed him."
"Thank you." She says letting out a sigh. This must be hard to hear, not long ago she (and the rest of her family) learned what happened to Zoro at school. "Make sure he's ok. Watch him but don't forget to go to school." Sanji couldn't help but smile. She was worried about him too.
"Don't worry, I plan to go to school tomorrow after I make sure he's fine."'
"Sanji, do you care for Zoro?"
"Very much. I hope you don't mind but I'll be staying the night."
"Thank you Sanji. Take care of him for us." She says. "Oh and I'm going to contact Law, the family doctor, make sure to tell him."
"Sure when will he be here?"
"Tomorrow."
"I'll let him know."
"Thank you, again."
"No need to thank me."
"I do. I think he's as strong as he is because of you and the others. Make sure he doesn't break. I've got work to do." She says, her voice going deep and threatening. "Good-bye." Sanji stares at the phone as the call ends. He made the right decision in calling Bonney. Perona would have scared him too much to talk. With that he joins Zoro in his room. Zoro lay there in his bed, under his covers, on his stomach. It's silent and Sanji could barely hear him breath. He went up to the bedside table, plugged his phone into the charger. The chime the phone made to let others know that the phone is charging makes Sanji attention known. Zoro raises his head to Sanji, surprise covers his features.
"Cook? You're still here?" Zoro is surprised, looking Sanji up and down.
"I'm spending the night with you."
"W-w-what?"
"I'm going to spend the night with you, it's not up for debate. I want to make sure you're ok."
"Why?" Zoro says. Sanji gives Zoro a smile.
"Scoot over." Sanji taps Zoro's leg. Zoro stares at him like a deer in the headlight before scooting over. Sanji keeps his pants and shirt on, but knew it would be a little uncomfortable, but took his jacket off, took out his cigarettes and lighter, setting it on the nightstand with Zoro's phone. Then he scoots in next to Zoro. Zoro is stiff as Sanji gets into the covers with him. That's when he held Zoro, giving him a hug. "I've said it before, I love you Zoro. I'm not lying. I'll take care of you, listen to you and make you happy." Zoro starts to cry a again into Sanji's chest holding him close. He must like holding Sanji close.
"Why? We ignored each other, we didn't talk to each for years. It's like we are strangers again." Zoro says in between sobs. He just doesn't understand why Sanji of all people would start to like him. He doesn't have anything that Sanji typically wanted in a partner, the biggest being he's a guy.
"Not to sound creepy but..." Sanji gives a puff of a laugh, "I was watching you. After realizing why you did want you did. I tried to confront you but you've escaped me. During then I had seen who you are. How nice and motherly you are to Chopper and Usopp at times, or brotherly, caring and supportive. I was able to see you, actually see you. I never knew who you were until then. It just became fun being with you, coming here after school and hanging out. I want that to continue, and to be more." Sanji says petting Zoro's soft hair as he cried again.
Sanji let him he didn't want him to hold or hide any of his feelings.
