They talked till late but they eventually fell asleep and after waking up Sanji didn't want to go. Zoro is like his missing piece. They were an incomplete puzzle and now they're not. After nights of nightmares Sanji really needed a good night's sleep but he knew he couldn't stay. He told Zeff and Bonney that he would go to school today so that's what he's going to do but first, breakfast.

When Zoro woke up the cook was gone, he was worried that everything from last night was a dream or hallucination but he also understood that the cook has school so that's most likely where he is. He moves around till he's at the edge of his bed. He looks at the time and school hasn't started yet but he's late on making breakfast. Zoro powers through it, he doesn't know if he'll be able to walk but he's not going to let that stop him. He doesn't know if Sanji is even here and he can't rely on him forever so walking, even if he's limping, is what he's going to do.

He first goes to the back pack, taking out the first volume of the book to read as he readies breakfast. He'll also have to call his manager to know he won't make it for his shift. So with a book in one hand and his phone in another he heads to the kitchen.

It took awhile but he got there. "Cook!" He shouts surprised. So it wasn't all a dream. Sanji turns from the stove to give the marimo a smile.

"Good your awake." Sanji says noticing Zoro hiding the book behind his back. "Is that the book?" He asks with a smirk. Zoro shakes his head but still blushes. Boy it's cute when tries. "Let me see it." Sanji lowers the heat on the stove and goes towards Zoro who steps back but doesn't pay attention catching the corner of the kitchen table and falling on his ass that already hurts. Phone and book on the floor. Sanji rushes and helps him up and gets his phone, checking if it's broken, then the book looking at the cover.

"WAhhh!" Zoro shouts, reaching forward to try and snatch it out of his hand. But Sanji dodges and gets a closer look. On the cover or the back is a character with brown hair and really big eyes, proportional big. It was cartoony but not at the same time.

"Fruits Basket." Sanji reads out loud. He looks over at Zoro, red faced as he let out a miserable groan. "What is this?" Sanji asks having never seen anything like this. He skims through it seeing it's full of drawings and in black and white. "A comic?" He asks himself. He's seen Usopp read comics before but it's not in color and it's thicker. "I've never seen this." Sanji says handing the book? and phone back to Zoro.

"It's called manga." Zoro says. Sanji just nods. Having to check that out later. Right now it's to feed Zoro.

"I thought you would have left by now. How about school?" Zoro asks in the middle of their breakfast.

"I wanted to take care of you a little more, just to see how you are after some sleep. I was going to head to school after stopping by at the Baratie." Zoro just nods. Sanji looked at Zoro, his face still beat up but his eyes are red and puffy from crying last night. Hopefully he feels better after letting out his feelings. He looks like he feels better.

Sanji got ready to leave. Not that he came with much. Zoro watched leaning on the wall in front of the front door as Sanji put his shoes on. "Alright, dinner is made, you just have to reheat it. Oh and I talked to Bonney last night. Law should be coming to check on you." Sanji says. Zoro nods and they just stand there. Zoro not ready to say good-bye and Sanji not ready to leave just yet.

It's dramatic, like they'll never see each other again. "H-have fun at school." Zoro says awkwardly, his inexperience at this showing. Sanji just gives him a smile which made the man blush. The cook gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, loving the way Zoro cupped the cheek in shock.

"I don't know when I'll be back, could be after school today or tomorrow but call me or text me if you want to or if something happens."

"Ok." Zoro nods with a dark blush on his face.

"Good." Sanji gives Zoro a wave and leaves. Zoro felt lonely again as he walked to the living room. He spotted his manga and goes to read it. Glad that the cook didn't know what it was. It was still embarrassing though.

Sanji had quickly ran to the Baratie, went into his room and took a fast shower, dried himself and changed into his school uniform. He checked if he had his phone and other school things he needed. Leaving with a fast shout of good-bye. When he got to class he was stared at, only because he's never late but he didn't care. He also needed to get lunch at school since he didn't prepare anything in the morning. It's not like the school cafeteria food is bad, it's more of a personal thing. He likes to eat the food he makes.

He found himself paying attention more now but his mind still wandered to Zoro. More like their shared kiss. Zoro is a very good kisser. Just thinking about it made him a little warm. With the piercing on his tongue it made the kiss feel even more good, touching at the sensitive places in his mouth. It was a little awkward when he left but it always is. It makes sense when he knows that Zoro is new and scared a little about this.

Sanji thinks about what happened in the morning and remembers what happened with the book, or manga as Zoro called it. Taking the opportunity now that he's in between classes he takes his phone. He types in the word 'manga' and gets a whole list of different things. The first one being what manga is and the others are 'top manga list' or 'is manga good' or 'should manga be taken serious as an art form like comics'. He didn't think there would be so much. He clicked on what manga is and reads. But he goes further in and in on the whole culture behind it. Otaku culture which begged the question, is Zoro an otaku? He was reading it but does he actually read more than that, or was he just getting into it? He did seem embarrassed by it but anyone one would try to hide their new found interests.
